금속의 절삭성 평가를 위한 2-3차원 어트랙터 시스템의 구축 (Construction of 2-3 Dimensional Attractor System for Cutting Characteristics Evaluation of Metals)

  • This study proposes the construction of 2-3 dimensional attractor system for cutting characteristics evaluation of metals. Also this paper aims to find the optimal cutting conditions of diamond turning machine by measuring surface form and roughness to perform the cutting experiment of metals, which are aluminum, with diamond tool. As well, according to change cutting conditions such as feed rate, using diamond turning machine to perform cutting processing, by measuring cutting force and surface roughness and according to cutting conditions the aluminum about cutting properties. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in attractor characteristics. Constructed 2-3 dimensional attractor system in this study can be used for cutting characteristics evaluation of metals.

강판의 CNC 가스 절단시 절단면특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cutting Surface Characteristics in CNC Gas Cutting of Plate Steel)

  • In the gas cutting of plate steel, the quality of the cut surfaces and sections is strongly dependent on the cutting conditions such as cutting speed, kerf width, plate thickness, material, distance between tip and specimen, and cutting oxygen pressure etc. The cutting tests of plate steel were carried out using CNC gas cutting machine. This paper deals with cut surface and section characteristics of plate steel in CNC gas cutting. Both top and bottom widths of kerf, the surface roughness(Ra, Rmax) of cutting surfaces are measured under various cutting conditions such as cutting speed, material, distance between tip and specimen, and cutting thickness. The photographs of cut surface and cut section are also analyzed under various cutting conditions.

  • The constant velocity internal grinding is a popular process for studying axle machine design and process in automobile industry. In this study, The program which gives the data of wheel size and truing diameter of ball groove is developed. As a result I obtained the data of grinding conditions makes good surface roughness get a grinding conditions. The grinding characteristics and conditions of constant velocity joint were investigated with respect to grinding feed, cutting depth, grinding time. At machine failure, the results were suddenly increased and the detailed surfaces were extremely obtained. Grinding condition was big more affected by grinding depth, grinding speed and grinding time.

  • To obtain the surface roughness with range from 10nm to 1nm we need the study of ultra-precision machine, cutting condition, and materials. In this paper, the optimal cutting conditions for getting mirror surface of aluminum alloy have been examined experimentally by using ultra-precision turning machine and sing1e crystal diamond tool. In generally, the cutting conditions such as feed rate and depth of cut have effect on the surface roughness in ultra-precision turning. The result of surface roughness was measured by the ZYGO New View 200. Therefore, The surface roughness and cutting conditions has been clarified. The smooth surface of aluminum alloy less than 1nm RMS, 1nm Rmax can be obtained by the ultra-precision cutting.

  • This paper presents a method of detecting localized defects on tapered roller bearing in main spindle of machine tool system. The statistical parameters in time-domain processing technique have been calculated to extract useful features from bearing vibration signals. These features are used by the input feature of an artificial neural network to detect and diagnose bearing defects. As a results, the detection of bearing defect conditions could be successfully performed by using an artificial neural network with statistical parameters of acceleration signals.

  • This paper deals with reliability and MTTF analysis of a non-repairable man-machine system operating under different weather conditions. The system consists of a hardware(machine) and a two-operator standby subsystem such as the air combat maneuvering of fighters with dual seat. The failure times for the subsystems follow the exponential distribution with constant parameter. By considering not only the effect on hardware component but also the weather conditions and human performance factors such as the operator's errors, a Markov model is presented as a method for evaluating the system reliability of time continuous operation tasks. Laplace transforms of the various state probabilities have been derived and then reliability of the system, at any time t, has been computed by inversion process. MTTF has also been computed.

  • This study proposes the construction of chaos simulator for cutting characteristics evaluation of non-ferrous metals. Also this paper aims to find the optimal cutting conditions of diamond turning machine by measuring surface form and roughness to perform the cutting experiment of non-ferrous metals, which are aluminum, with diamond tool. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in fractal characteristics. Constructed chaos simulator in this study can be used for cutting characteristics evaluation of non-ferrous metals.

머신 러닝을 이용한 인공지지체 기공 크기 예측 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prediction Model of Scaffold Pore Size Using Machine Learning)

  • In this paper, We used the regression model of machine learning for improve the print quantity problem when which print scaffold with 400 ㎛ pore using FDM 3d printer. We have difficult to experiment with changing all factors in the field. So we reduced print quantity by selected two factors that most impact the pore size. We printed and measured scaffold 5 times under same conditions. We created regression model using scaffold pore size and print conditions. We predicted pore size of untested print condition using the regression model. After print scaffold with 400 ㎛ pore, we printed scaffold 5 times under same conditions. We compare the predicted scaffold pore size and the measured scaffold pore size. We confirmed that error is less than 1 % and we verified the results quantitatively.

  • This paper presents results of monitoring grinding processes with on-the-machine measurement of surface roughness by using nux ratios of scattered lights. A compact, on-the-machine surface roughness sensor. which consists of a diodelaser and several optic units. is developed. The control unit is also developed. The developed sensor together with the controller is applied for monitoring grinding processes of two different grinding machines. Experimental results show that the nux ratios and their standard deviations measured by the developed sensor over the entire ground surface are useful for monitoring grinding conditions. In particular, the sensor and the control unit are proved to be useful for monitoring grinding processes in order to detect abnormal grinding conditions and dressing time.

  • This study dealt with some problems occurred in spectrometric oil analysis that has been popularly used for a machine condition monitoring in various fields of industry. One of the problems is that spectrometric technique could not analyze contaminants of large particle (larger than 10 $\mu\textrm{m}$) in lubricating oils. This limitation caused a serious problem in analyzing lubricated machine conditions since wear debris of large size represents better critical machine conditions. In this work, this problem was found to be solved by using a filtration method prior to spectrometric analysis. Another problem could be that spectrometric analysis is incapable of identifying contaminants. This nay mislead the result seriously in practice. This problem was surveyed by analyzing both various types of industrial lubricants and laboratory simulation tests, and the solutions to the problem were suggested in this work.
