Design and Implementation of DVD Player Control Functions using MOST NetService (MOST NetService를 이용한 DVD 플레이어 제어 기능의 설계 및 구현)

  • 동기 및 비동기 데이터를 동시에 전송할 수 있는 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) 네트워크는 최근 자동차 멀티미디어 시스템에 가장 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 통신 시스템이다. MOST는 주로 링 형태로 연결되어지며 마스터 역할을 하는 장치가 반드시 하나 존재하고 여러 개의 슬레이브 장치들이 존재한다. 또한 MOST 네트워크에 연결된 여러 장치를 제어할 수 있는 HMI가 필요하다. HMI는 독립적인 장치로 만들 수도 있지만 일반적으로 Master 기능을 통합하여 구현한다. 본 논문에서는 MOST 네트워크에서 동영상 재생 플레이어인 DVD를 제어하기 위해서 HMI 역할을 하는 응용프로그램을 설계 및 구현하였다. DVD 제어를 위한 HMI 프로그램은 MOST NetServices API를 이용하여서 컨트롤 메시지를 전송해서 DVD 장치를 제어하며, 사용자가 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 GUI 형태로 구현하였다. MOST25 PCI 카드와 MOST DVD 플레이어 장치를 네트워크로 연결하고, PC에 DVD 장치 제어 HMI를 구현한 후 테스트하여 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

Developing a Measurement Scale for User Evaluations of Internet Portal Sites (인터넷 포털 사이트에 대한 사용자 평가측정 도구의 개발)

  • As the Internet service is expanding rapidly, portal sites, a gateway tn the net, are attracting increasing attention these days. As the Internet service has expanded rapidly, so has the interest for portal sites,, which serve as a gateway to the net. Despite the tendency, however, research on a measure by which to evaluate the quality of portal sites or development of such measures has not been fully pursued. As online services, faced with profitability, are considering 'charge per view', the development of a set of quality evaluation measures for portal services will prove to become a valuable instrument in constructing competitive strategies that are vital for survival and growth of a firm. In that regard, this study aims to develop a set of evaluation measures for Internet portal sites by empirically investigating the most common offline measures for quality of services, SERVQUAL, retail SERVQUAL and other evaluation measures for IT-related online services. Moreover, the study offers the strategic implications of the defined measures.

An Analysis of the Research Topics of the Academic Papers Published in the Journal of Korean Society of Archives and Records Management: From 2001 to 2017 (『한국기록관리학회지』 논문의 연구 주제 분석 - 2001년부터 2017년까지 -)

  • The main purpose of this study was to investigate the research topics of the Journal of Korean Society of Archives and Records Management, which is one of the main academic journals of archival research in Korea. To achieve this objective, a total of 875 author-assigned Korean keywords were collected from the 390 papers published from the first issue (i.e., 2001) to the current issue (i.e., 2017) in the target journal. The collected keywords were analyzed using NetMiner V.4 to discover their frequency, degree centrality, and betweenness centrality. Results showed that "Archival Information Services," "Electronic Records," "Historical Archives," "Archivists," and "National Archives of Korea" showed the most frequently conducted research topics; whereas "Archival Information Services," "Electronic Records," "Evaluation," "Locality Archives," and "Retrieval System" were the most influencing research topics. On the other hand, "Archival Information Services," "Archivists," "Electronic Records," "Archive," and "Metadata" showed the most widely intervening research topics in this research.

The Effect of Net Generation′s Fashion Value on the Purchase-Decision Important Factors at Internet Shopping Mall and the Preference for Fashion Design (N세대의 패션가치관이 인터넷쇼핑몰 구매결정 중요도와 패션디자인 선호도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to characterize the effect of Net fashion value regarding to the factors of purchase-decision at internet shopping mall and the preference for fashion design. The subjects for this sample survey, were junior high school and university students who had dwelled at pusan and ulsan in south korea. This study had 824 samples of each aged from 13 to 24 who had purchasing ability of fashion apparels at the interned shopping mal1. The sampling data in this survey was analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, T-test, LSD-test, MANOVA and ANOVA of SPSS WIN package. The results of this study was as follows; 1. It was proved that advertising, pursuit of services and products, pursuit of information were considered first from Net generations fashion value. Next things were perception of danger and pursuit of convenience. It was proved that they considered it important A/S, recall, exchange and post management. 2. It was proved that there was difference at the preference for fashion design of according to Net generations fashion value. Color was considered to be the most important one. 3. Men had higher political value than women and 1318 teenagers had higher fashion value than semi-adult. Under high school educational course Net generation had more theoretical value than above university educational course Net generation did. Also, with the factor of average monthly income, political value was considered to be the most important. People whose monthly expenditure on purchase was above 50,000 won had higher social value than people whose expenditure was under 50,000 won but under 50,000 won had higher political value than above 50,000 won did.

Effects of Circulating Coolant in High Temperature Season and warm Water in Low Temperature Season by Controlling Soil Temperature on the Growth and Flower Quality in Alstroemeria (하절기 및 동절기 근권부 온도조절이 알스트로메리아 절화 생육 및 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • Rising soil temperature was effectively controled by shading net of 50% and cooled water to maintain average $18.8^{\circ}C$ (maximum $23^{\circ}C$), then shading net of 50% and ground water to maintain average $23.2^{\circ}C$ (max. $28.5^{\circ}C$), shading paint of 30% and shading net (50%) to maintain average $24^{\circ}C$ (max. $30^{\circ}C$) in that order. Alstroemeria 'Modena' most affected by shading and cooling water was better in shoot length as 95.9 cm and fresh weight as 67 g than those of other treatments. The production of cut flower was increased more 121% with treatment 50% shading net and cooling water, 59% with 50% shading net and ground water, and 65% with 30% shading paint than that of 50% shading net, respectively. Soil temperature was higher $8^{\circ}C$ with the plot of circulating warm water than untreated control plot. Alstroemeria 'Aspen', 'Modena', and 'Chanel' increased more plant growth such as plant height, fresh weight in warm water than in untreated control plot, but Alstroemeria 'Bordeaux' decreased plant height. Because of increasing plant growth, flower quality such as peduncle length, peduncle diameter, floret number and flower weight of 4 all cultivar was better in the plot of circulating warm water than untreated control plot. Also, the production of cut flower was increased the most in Alstroemeria 'Modena' by 38%, 'Aspen', 'Bordeaux', and 'Chanel' in that order.

Utilization of Computer System for Outpatient's Dispensing Affairs in Hospital Pharmacy (병원약국의 외래조제업무에 대한 컴퓨터의 이용)

  • Hospital pharmacy services are divided into dispensing affairs for inpatients and outpatients, pharmaceutical service, stock control, intravenous admixture service, drug information service, pharmacokinetic consultation service, education and research work, etc. But among those affairs, dispensing affair for outpatient is perceived as the most important work in Korea, because it is linked directly with hospital service for patients. Therefore, total computer system for dispensing area was adopted from opening point of hospital in 1989 in Asan Medical Center. Utilization of computer system for outpatient dispensing area is as follows; 1) Order communication system of prescription by Total Hospital Information System, 2) Automatic print-out system of direction for use by sticker connected with on-line net work, 3) Use of automatic tablet counting and packaging machines connected with on-line net work. Those computer system resulted in curtailment of pharmacy manpower and shortening of waiting-time for outpatient.

  • This paper describes the ubiquitous home network (uHome-net) testbed and LonRF intelligent devices based on LonWorks technology. These devices consist of Neuron Chip, RF transceiver, sensor, and other peripheral components. Using LonRF devices, a home control network can be simplified and most devices can be operated on LonWorks control network. Also, Indoor Positioning System (IPS) that can serve various location based services was implemented in uHome-net. Smart Badge of IPS, that is a special LonRF device, can measure the 3D location of objects in the indoor environment. In the uHome-net testbed, remote control service, cooking help service, wireless remote metering service, baby monitoring service and security & fire prevention service were realized. This research shows the vision of the ubiquitous home network that will be emerged in the near future.

Instagram image classification with Deep Learning (딥러닝을 이용한 인스타그램 이미지 분류)

  • In this paper we introduce two experimental results from classification of Instagram images and some valuable lessons from them. We have tried some experiments for evaluating the competitive power of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) in classification of real social network images such as Instagram images. We used AlexNet and ResNet, which showed the most outstanding capabilities in ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge(ILSVRC) 2012 and 2015, respectively. And we used 240 Instagram images and 12 pre-defined categories for classifying social network images. Also, we performed fine-tuning using Inception V3 model, and compared those results. In the results of four cases of AlexNet, ResNet, Inception V3 and fine-tuned Inception V3, the Top-1 error rates were 49.58%, 40.42%, 30.42%, and 5.00%. And the Top-5 error rates were 35.42%, 25.00%, 20.83%, and 0.00% respectively.

  • 최근 차량의 멀티미디어 장치들이 증가하면서 이 장치들을 네트워크로 연결하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 송 수신해서 사용할 수 있는 MOST 네트워크를 적용한 차량들이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MOST 네트워크를 적용한 장치들을 제어하기 위한 HMI를 구현하는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. MOST는 네트워크 전체를 관리하는 하나의 마스터와 하나 이상의 슬레이브 장치들로 구성된다. 또한 MOST 네트워크에 연결된 장치를 제어하는 컨트롤 인터페이스가 있는데 이를 HMI라고 한다. 일반적으로 HMI는 마스터 역할을 하면서 네트워크의 각 각 장치들을 제어한다. 멀티미디어 장치 중 차량에서 일반적으로 많이 사용되는 장치가 오디오 장치이며 MOST 네트워크에서 사용되는 대표적인 장치이기도 하다. 본 논문에서는 MOST 네트워크의 대표적인 장치인 오디오 장치를 제어하는 HMI 인터페이스 프로그램을 구현하였으며, MOST 오디오 장치를 네트워크로 연결하여 구현한 프로그램을 테스트한 결과 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

Detecting the HTTP-GET Flood Attacks Based on the Access Behavior of Inline Objects in a Web-page Using NetFlow Data

  • Nowadays, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks on web sites reward attackers financially or politically because our daily lifes tightly depends on web services such as on-line banking, e-mail, and e-commerce. One of DDoS attacks to web servers is called HTTP-GET flood attack which is becoming more serious. Most existing techniques are running on the application layer because these attack packets use legitimate network protocols and HTTP payloads; that is, network-level intrusion detection systems cannot distinguish legitimate HTTP-GET requests and malicious requests. In this paper, we propose a practical detection technique against HTTP-GET flood attacks, based on the access behavior of inline objects in a webpage using NetFlow data. In particular, our proposed scheme is working on the network layer without any application-specific deep packet inspections. We implement the proposed detection technique and evaluate the ability of attack detection on a simple test environment using NetBot attacker. Moreover, we also show that our approach must be applicable to real field by showing the test profile captured on a well-known e-commerce site. The results show that our technique can detect the HTTP-GET flood attack effectively.
