항만운영정보시스템(Port-MIS) 서비스 품질 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Service Quality of Port-MIS)

  • 본 연구는 2010년 4월부터 웹기반의 새로운 플랫폼으로 서비스되고 있는 WEB Port-MIS의 서비스 품질 측정에 대한 연구는 전무하여 처음으로 WEB Port-MIS 서비스 품질 평가에 관한 연구를 하는 것에 의의가 있다. 설문 문항은 공공기관 웹사이트 평가지표를 기초로 개발하였고 요인분석을 통해 품질측정척도를 개발하였다. 개발된 측정 척도를 바탕으로 AHP 분석을 실시하여 항목별 중요도를 평가하였고 설문조사와 AHP 분석을 통해 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 중요도-성과분석법을 활용하여 서비스 품질 관리 전략을 수립하였다. 중요도 만족도 분석결과 WEB Port-MIS의 세부항목 별로 가장 중요하게 평가 된 컨텐츠(정보의 다양성, 유용성)항목에 대한 개선이 필요하며 행정정보의 제공 및 운영 항목도 컨텐츠 항목과 함께 집중 개선 영역에 위치하여 개선활동이 필요하다. 이를 위해 최신 기술을 활용하여 최적의 민원서비스를 구축하는 것이 필요하며 실시간 정보제공 체계, 민원처리시스템의 다양화, 최적의 민원서비스를 제공하기 위한 대안 마련이 필요하다. 특히 컨텐츠 항목의 개선을 위해서는 주를 이루는 항만민원신고 서비스에 대해 향후에는 웹기반 민원처리의 고도화, 관련 기관 간 정보 공동 활용 확대, 이용자 중심의 신고절차 간소화 구현을 단계적으로 추진하여 해운항만물류정보의 글로벌 통합정보서비스의 역할이 되도록 고려하여야 한다.

Etiological and pathophysiological enigmas of severe coronavirus disease 2019, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, and Kawasaki disease

  • During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, a novel multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) has been reported worldwide since the first cases were reported in Europe in April 2020. MIS-C is temporally associated with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection and shows Kawasaki disease (KD)-like features. The epidemiological and clinical characteristics in COVID-19, KD, and MIS-C differ, but severe cases of each disease share similar clinical and laboratory findings such as a protracted clinical course, multiorgan involvement, and similar activated biomarkers. These findings suggest that a common control system of the host may act against severe disease insult. To solve the enigmas, we proposed the protein-homeostasis-system hypothesis in that every disease involves etiological substances and the host's immune system controls them by their size and biochemical properties. Also, it is proposed that the etiological agents of KD and MIS-C might be certain strains in the microbiota of human species and etiological substances in severe COVID-19, KD, and MIS-C originate from pathogen-infected cells. Since disease severity depends on the amounts of inflammation-inducing substances and corresponding immune activation in the early stage of the disease, an early proper dose of corticosteroids and/or intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) may help reduce morbidity and possibly mortality among patients with these diseases. Corticosteroids are low cost and an analogue of host-origin cortisol among immune modulators. This study's findings will help clinicians treating severe COVID-19, KD, and MIS-C, especially in developing countries, where IVIG and biologics supplies are insufficient.

한국 남동해안 저위단구 퇴적층의 지형대비 및 형성시기 고찰 (Morphological Correlation and Chronology of Lower Terrace Formations of Southeastern Coast of Korea)

  • 남한의 동남해안가를 따라 단구지형이 잘 발달하여 있으며, 해안단구는 해안충적면(AP,$4{\sim}5m$), 저위단구면(LT, $8{\sim}25m$), 중위단구면(MT, $36{\sim}55m$), 고위단구면(HT, $63{\sim}86m$), 고고위단구면(uHT, above 90m)과 같이5개 주단구면들로 구분된다. 해안단구 중에서 고도 약 8m 에서 20m 부근에 저위단구퇴적층이 잘 발달하여 있다. 이들 퇴적층은 저위2면(LT2)과 저위3면(LT3)에 분포하는 유기니질층 내에 포함된 화산재 산출 특성과 사질층에 대한 광여기루미네선스(OSL) 연대측정을 실시하였다. 연구결과 , LT2면은 해양산소동위체시기(MIS)로 볼 때, MIS 5d 혹은 5e 에 해당하며, LT3면은 MIS 5a 로 해석된다. 특히 LT2퇴적층의 형성은 최종간빙기 최성기의 해침작용과 관련되어 형성되었다.

GPS 측량의 정확도 향상을 위한 상시관측 데이터의 활용 - 진안군 일부 지역에 있어서 - (Utilization of Permanent Site Data for Accuracy Improvement in GPS Surveying - At the Subset Area of Jinan-Gun -)

  • This study attempts to analyze both the mis-closures between triangulation points of 3 and 4 glade and permanent sites data, and accuracy of according as change the number of utilized GPS permanent sites and base lines for improvement of the accuracy in GPS surveying using permanent sites data. The result of this study show that the mis-closure between the two points and Jeonju/Chungju/Sangju/Daegu stations of NGI(National Geography Institute) are 0.0051 m, 0.0361 m, 0.0039 m and 0.0198 m respectively. It indicated that the mis-closures were less than the allowed values in the primary/secondary control point specification for GPS surveying, a mis-closure less than 30 mm for the distance less than 30 km and a mis-closure less than 1 PPM${\times}$D(km) for the distance greater than 30 km. Jinan 11 of actual surveying point for the base line 21.4911 km in Jeonju permanent site and 87.8156 km in Sangju permanent site, northing and easting for planimetric errors of Jinan 11 are 0.0120 m and 0.0113 m, northing and easting for planimetric errors of Jinan 12 are 0.0122 m and 0.0115 m.

미국의 경영정보 전공학생 집단과 일반경영 전공학생 집단간의 창업 자신감에 대한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Confidence in Venture Creation between MIS Students and Other Business Major Students in the USA)

  • 본 연구는 미국의 경영정보전공 학생집단과 일반경영전공 학생집단의 창업 자신감에 대하여 서로 어떻게 다른가를 비교 분석했다. 본 연구에 필요한 자료는 미국의 네브라스카 대학교의 경영정보전공 학생들과 일반경영전공 학생들로부터 설문지를 통하여 직접 수집했다. 자료분석은 ANOVA, t-test 그리고 다중회귀분석을 사용했다. 분석결과는 MIS전공 학생들이 일반경영전공학생들 보다 창업에 대한 자신감이 훨씬 더 높았다. 본 연구 결과는 창업에 대한 자신감이 부여되기 위해서는 경영정보교육이 필요하다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

Clinical spectrum and short-term outcomes of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children in a south Indian hospital

  • Background: Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a new hyperinflammatory variant that evolved during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. Although the precise pathophysiology of MIS-C is uncertain, it is thought to be due to immune dysregulation occurring after recovery from acute infection. Purpose: Our study aimed to analyze the clinical spectrum, laboratory parameters, imaging characteristics, treatment strategies, and short-term outcomes of children with a diagnosis of MIS-C. Methods: This retrospective and prospective observational study included children less than 16 years of age who were admitted to the pediatric unit of a tertiary care teaching hospital in south India between August 2020 to January 2021 with a diagnosis of MIS-C according to World Health Organization criteria. Results: Twenty-one children were included in the analysis; all had fever with variable combinations of other symptoms. The mean age was 6.9 years; 71.4% were male. Gastrointestinal (80.9%) and cardiovascular (80.9%) systems were the most commonly affected. The majority of children had elevated inflammatory markers, and 16 (76.2%) had echocardiographic abnormalities mimicking Kawasaki disease. Eleven children (52.4%) required intensive care admission, 3 (14.3%) required supplemental oxygen, and 4 (19%) required inotropes. Nine (42.9%) were treated with intravenous immunoglobulin alone, 6 (28.6%) with steroids alone, and 3 (14.3%) with steroids and immunoglobulin. The median hospital stay was 6 days; there were no fatalities. Overweight/obesity, elevated ferritin, and mucocutaneous involvement were significantly associated with a prolonged hospital stay (≥7 days). Sixteen children (76.2%) were followed up till now and all of them had no clinical concerns. Conclusion: MIS-C is an emerging disease with variable presentation. A high index of suspicion is necessary for its early identification and appropriate management. Further research is essential for developing optimal treatment strategies.

  • In this paper, we investigated the electrical characteristics through DC power at manufacturing the MIS capacitor insulator AIN thin film based on reactive sputtering method. In case of deposition temperature 250$^{\circ}C$, pressure 5mTorr, total flow rate 8sccm(Ar:4sccm N2:4sccm), AIN thin film was deposited with changing DC power. As DC power increses, resistivity is observed a little increase. When AIN thin film is deposited at 100W, the result shows leakage current 10$\^$-8/A/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 0.1MV/cm. Otherwise, In case of depositing at 150W and 200W, the result shows that the characteristic of leakage current is under 10$\^$-9//$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 0.1MV/cm. In C-V characteristic with DC power, deep depletion phenomenon is observed at inversion region in 100W and 150W. In 200W, that phenomenon, however, was showed to decrease. It shows that the hysterisis increases with being increasing DC power.

Effect of surface anodization on stability of orthodontic microimplant

  • Objective: To determine the effect of surface anodization on the interfacial strength between an orthodontic microimplant (MI) and the rabbit tibial bone, particularly in the initial phase aft er placement. Methods: A total of 36 MIs were driven into the tibias of 3 mature rabbits by using the self-drilling method and then removed aft er 6 weeks. Half the MIs were as-machined (n = 18; machined group), while the remaining had anodized surfaces (n = 18; anodized group). The peak insertion torque (PIT) and the peak removal torque (PRT) values were measured for the 2 groups of MIs. These values were then used to calculate the interfacial shear strength between the MI and cortical bone. Results: There were no statistical differences in terms of PIT between the 2 groups. However, mean PRT was significantly greater for the anodized implants ($3.79{\pm}1.39$ Ncm) than for the machined ones ($2.05{\pm}1.07$ Ncm) (p < 0.01). The interfacial strengths, converted from PRT, were calculated at 10.6 MPa and 5.74 MPa for the anodized and machined group implants, respectively. Conclusions: Anodization of orthodontic MIs may enhance their early-phase retention capability, thereby ensuring a more reliable source of absolute anchorage.

동해 남서부 해역의 제4기 후기 퇴적물과 공극수에서의 퇴적학적 및 지화학적 변화의 의미 (Implications on Sedimentological and Geochemical Changes in Late Quaternary Sediments and Pore Water of the Southwestern East Sea)

  • 동해 남서부해역에서 채취한 4개의 코어퇴적물과 공극수를 이용하여 제4기 후기의 층서와 퇴적환경변화를 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 테프라층서, 탄소연대측정, 퇴적상, 퇴적물의 암질, 퇴적물과 공극수의 원소성분 등을 분석하였다. 테프라층서와 탄소연대측정 결과, 코어의 층서는 MIS 3의 중반 시기부터 최상부의 MIS 1 (홀로세)까지 구성되어 있음을 보여준다. 코어의 평균퇴적률은 대부분 $10{\sim}20\;cm/kyr$의 값을 보여주고 있으나, 구간별로 퇴적률은 크게 변동을 한다. 특히 퇴적률은 MIS 2 시기에 상대적으로 높은 값을 보여주고 있는데, 이는 해수면 변동과 관련이 있는 것으로 추정된다. 반면, 측정된 ${\delta}^{13}C_{org}$과 C/N 비를 도식한 결과, 코어의 유기물질은 대부분 해성조류 기원임을 가리킨다. 또한 메탄가스의 ${\delta}^{13}C_{CH4}$ 값을 고려할 때, 메탄가스가 이산화탄소 환원작용의 경로를 따르는 박테리아기원으로 형성되었음을 보여준다.

Capacitance-Voltage Characteristics of MIS Capacitors Using Polymeric Insulators

  • In this study, we investigate the capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics of metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) capacitors consisting of pentacene, as an organic semiconductor, and polymeric insulators such as poly(4-vinylphenol) (PVP) orpolystyrene (PS) prepared by spin-coating process, to analyze the interfacial characteristics between pentacene and polymeric insulators. Compared with the device with PS, the MIS capacitor with PVP exhibited a pronounced shift in the flat-band voltage according to the bias sweep direction. This hysteric feature in the C-V characteristics is thought to be attributed to the trapped charges at the interface between pentacene and PVP owing to the hydrophilicity of PVP. From the experimental results, we can conclude that surface polarity of polymeric insulator has a critical effect on the interfacial properties, thereby affecting the bias stability of organic thin-film transistors.
