A Game Design for IoT environment (IoT 환경을 위한 게임 기획)

  • The basic idea of IoT(Internet of Things) is interconnection and cooperation with a variety of things in real life such as Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID) tags, sensors, mobile phone, etc, through internet. IoT technologies which applied to these fields consist of sensor network technology and middleware, application. Currently, IoT technology is applied to various fields such as health care, home care, automotive, transportation, construction, agriculture, environment, food, and etc, based on its technologies. This paper focuses on discussion of the game planning method in IoT environment. In order to achieve this purpose, first, introduce the IoT technologies. Second, propose a game design elements and considerations in IoT environments. It can help for game developers by using IoT technologies.

  • It is used to lead to serious structural vulnerability of the system security of security-critical system when we have quickly developed software system according to urgent release schedule without appropriate security planning, management, and assurance processes. The Data Set and Provider of DataSnap, which is a middleware of Delphi XE2 of the Embarcadero Technologies Co., certainly help to develop an easy and fast-paced procedure, but it is difficult to apply security program and vulnerable to control software system security when the connection structure Database-DataSnap server-SQL Connection-SQL Data set-Provider is applied. This is due to that all kinds of information of Provider are exposed on the moment when DataSnap Server Port is sure to malicious attackers. This exposure becomes a window capable of running SQL Command. Thus, it should not be used Data Set and Provider in the DataSnap Server in consideration of all aspects of security management. In this paper, we study on the verification of the security vulnerabilities for Client and Server DataSnap in Dlephi XE2, and we propose a secure coding method to improve security vulnerability in the DataSnap server system.

An Enhanced SOAP Message Processing System for Mobile Web Services

  • Web services are key applications in business­to-business, business-to-customer, and enterprise applications integration solutions. As the mobile internet becomes one of the main methods for information delivery, mobile Web Services are regarded as a critical aspect of e-business architecture. In this paper, we proposed a mobile Web Services middleware that converts conventional internet services into mobile Web services. We implemented a WSDL (Web Service Description Language) builder that converts HTML/XML into WSDL and a SAOP (Simple Object Access Protocol) message processor that performs SOAP message handling, chain and handling of server requests. The former minimizes the overhead cost of rebuilding mobile Web Services and enables seamless services between wired and wireless internet services. The latter enhances SOAP processing performance by eliminating the Servlet container (Tomcat), a required component of typical Web services implementation. Our main contributions are to overcome the latency problem of current Web Services and to provide an easy mobile Web service implementation. Our system can completely support standard Web Services protocol, minimizing communication overhead, message processing time, and server overload. Finally we compare our empirical results with those of typical Web Services.

  • As the substantial increment in program complexity and appearance of mega program, the programs need to be divided to small tasks with multiple partitions and performed with a priority based scheduling. And also, a program development has to be progressed according to diversify of development environment. For instance, there are some restrictions upon O/S environment such as embedded O/S or windows. Therefore, the adaptive scheduling technique which performs multiple task partitioning process, regardless environment or O/S, is suggested. In this study, In this study, the adaptive scheduling technique algorithm and its applied examples are described.

  • Many issues about portability and extension of system converting and exchanging information using XML standard data are being studied currently. This paper proposes design using XML processing layer for mediation between client and server to solve the development cost problem for compatibility and extension of client/server environment. This maintains mediation role for programming development between client and server and increases extension of system and portability of hetero geneous environment. This paper implements and designs XML data processing system for EC using XML DB among hetrogeneous databases. We expect cost-down by maintenance of system using this architecture for electronic commerce.

  • The RPC Is one of the most used communication mechanisms in the distributed system. This study Is to design the simple interface for making use of database under the distributed environments by using XML-RPC among the RPC protocols. The access to any database of the current RDB programs is needed for a programming format of the special API according to the programming language, fiat form and the class of the used database but simplification of database access shows that various different database accesses and manipulation are easier and more convenient in the special computer languages and environments by the middleware implemented using a XML-RPC protocol.

  • 실세계에서는 RDBMS가 가장 많이 사용되고 있으며, 가까운 미래에도 RDBMS를 사용하는 경향이 크게 바뀌지 않을 전망이므로, 이미 보유하고 있는 RDBMS를 이용하여 효율적으로 지리 공간 정보를 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만, 기존의 RDBMS는 몇몇 특정한 시스템을 제외하고는 아직 지리 공간 데이터를 위한 특별한 처리를 고려하지 않고 있으며, 공간 연산자를 포함하는 질의를 처리하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 분산 환경에서 다양한 종류의 RDBMS에 지리 공간 데이터와 이와 연관된 애트리뷰트 값을 함께 저장하려는 GIS를 위한 미들웨어인 OpenGDBC(Open Geo-DataBase Connection)를 제시한다. OpenGDBC는 다음과 같은 특징을 가지고 있다. 첫째, 세계적인 표준 기구인 OpenGIS의 명세를 따른다. 둘째, CORBA를 이용하여 분산 환경을 지원한다. 셋째, ei양한 종류의 RDBMS에 지리 공간 데이터와 이에 연관된 애트리뷰트 값을 통합된 형태로 저장할 수 있도록 지원하다. 넷째, 공간 연산자를 포함한 질의를 입력으로 받아. 이를 분석하여 OpenGDBC가 제공하는 공간 연산자를 수행한 후, RDBMS에 적합한 질의 형태로 변경하고, RDBMS에서 변경된 질의를 수행하게 하여 질의 결과를 반환하므로, 다양한 종류의 RDBMS에 저장된 지리 공간 데이터에 대해 공간 연산자를 포함하는 질의를 처리할 수 있다.

A Meta Scheduling Framework for Workflow Service on the Grid (그리드 환경에서 워크플로우 서비스를 제공하기 위한 메타 스케줄링 프레임워크)

  • The Grid is new infrastructure to provide computing environment for grand challenge research by sharing large-scale resources. Currently the Globus becomes a de facto standard middleware to construct Grid and supports core services such as resource management, security, data transfer, information services, and so on. However, it still needs more works and researches to satisfy requirements from various grid applications. A workflow management is becoming a main service as one of the important grid services for complex grid applications. We propose a Meta Scheduling Framework (MSF) in this paper. The MSF provides a XML-based Job Control Markup Language (JCML) for describing information and procedures of grid applications, and a workflow management service for scheduling the job using the JCML and for processing the job effectively.

  • XML is a standard markup language for exchange and storage of formed or well-formed information in World Wide Web, Because the source data of XML message for exchange of information in World Woo Web Is stored in legacy database systems. it is necessary the easier connection between XML application and database systems, In Oracle8i. 9i. informix and SQL2000. DBMS vendors extend their DBMSs for XML. This approach for the connection between XML application and database system is Platform-dependent and DBMS-dependent. Therefore it is necessary the platform- and DBMS-independent approach for the connection between XML application and database system, In this paper. we modeled a set of middleware components for relational database design based on XML DTD is modeled, Those components are modeled on object-based algorithm for connection between XML application and database system.

qPALS: Quality-Aware Synchrony Protocol for Distributed Real-Time Systems

  • Synchronous computing models provided by real-time synchrony protocols, such as TTA [1] and PALS [2], greatly simplify the design, implementation, and verification of real-time distributed systems. However, their application to real systems has been limited since their assumptions on underlying systems are hard to satisfy. In particular, most previous real-time synchrony protocols hypothesize the existence of underlying fault tolerant real-time networks. This, however, might not be true in most soft real-time applications. In this paper, we propose a practical approach to a synchrony protocol, called Quality-Aware PALS (qPALS), which provides the benefits of a synchronous computing model in environments where no fault-tolerant real-time network is available. qPALS supports two flexible global synchronization protocols: one tailored for the performance and the other for the correctness of synchronization. Hence, applications can make a negotiation flexibly between performance and correctness. In qPALS, the Quality-of-Service (QoS) on synchronization and consistency is specified in a probabilistic manner, and the specified QoS is supported under dynamic and unpredictable network environments via a control-theoretic approach. Our simulation results show that qPALS supports highly reliable synchronization for critical events while still supporting the efficiency and performance even when the underlying network is not stable.
