  • There are still many difficulties in developing techniques for modifying or transforming the flickering of motion capture data or in modifying motion capture data in such a way that suits the animation timing sheet. There is a problem in the existing method of modifying motion capture data. It requires almost same time as in the key frame animation work by a very skilled animator or even more time in modifying. It is believed that this kind of problem can be a basis for a more effective problem-solving method through creating the key animation data node and direct blend layer and replacement layer nodes. This study presents a new method which enables to modify animation data in a nonlinear way without modifying the existing animation data by creating an animation layer node for a direct connection to the animation node. 'Maya' API will be utilized in order to realize this method and the research range will be limited to 'Maya' 3D software which is generally used in motion picture and animation films. According to the results of this study, the new method is much more intuitive than the nonlinear one and does not require the preceding working of making animation clips. In addition, it has enabled to modify flickering and to extract key frames, and due to the compatibility with other programs, it has been possible to modify motion capture data by creating a direct layer node. Finally, in this study, the existing method of modifying animation will be examined, compared and analyzed.

  • Computer graphic where the most useful and effective production methods are used for animation or films has expanded into actors' performance beyond object expression, background expression and special effect. Unlike 2D drawing software focusing on user's sense, 3D mainly depends on hardware performance and software functions. Therefore, for 3D users, learning 3D functions is directly related to new expression, and quick learning and effective representation are keys to productivity growth in animation industry. In line with industrial needs, basic 3D animation software training is provided in school. Unfortunately, however, many problems such as lack of professional instructors, time allocation and education environment prevent various 3D animation software from being taught. Moreover, functional use does not live up to industrial rapid trends. In order to improve effects of software functional education in restricted education fields, this research aims to find out what functions of 3D animation software are used in industries, what are those function used for, and how schools provide 3D animation software training.

  • Animation of 3-dimensional humans is a challenging task, however, its realistic synthesis is possible. Essentially, the nature of this project is to demonstrate and study the difficulties faced by an animator in making a movie with a state of art computer animation software (Maya Software by ,alias/wavefront) by creating a movie clip with the above-stated software ourselves. We will also analyze the aspect of automated animation to relieve the animator of some very tedious tasks.

  • In the field of virtual reality and game production with realistic, real-time character's behavior is frequently used. In this paper, the terrain changes or other actions on the surrounding environment by implementing adaptive any action that is the most natural and can be adapted to analyze real-time character animation is implemented. For this purpose, in order to control the various movements of the character of the human body, by highlighting the major joints Kinematic dummy character animation is to create a way. Changes in terrain height difference of the two stairs that could cause analysis of the behavior in the environment and the other on the surrounding environment by adapting behavior to analyze the behavior of the slope climbing Based on this, the character animation is implemented.

  • Garment modeling and simulation is now one of the important elements in broad range of digital contents. Though there have been recent products on garment simulation, general users do not know well enough how to design a virtual costume that meets some requirements about its specific clothing pattern. In particular, Hanbok - the Korean traditional costume - has many different characteristics against western ones in the aspect of its pattern design and of draping. This paper presents a knowledge-driven approach for virtual Hanbok modeling without knowing how to make real Hanbok. First, parameterized knowledge for several fabric types art solicited using visual similarity assessment from simulated and real cloth. Secondly, based on the analysis of designer's knowledge, we defined multi-level adjustment processes of Hanbok measurements with regard to body shape features for different virtual actors. An experimental system is developed as the form of a Maya plug-in and the result shows the applicability of the proposed method.

  • In 3D animation rendering process, Although we can render the output as a movie file format, most productions use image sequences in their rendering pipelines. This Image Sequence rendering process is extremely important step in final compositing in movie industries. Although there are various type of making image rendering processes, TGA format Is one of most widely used bitmap file formats using in industries. People may ask TGA format is most suitable for in any case. As we know 3D softwares have their own image formats. so we need to testify on this. In this paper, we are going to focus on Alias' 3D package software called MAYA which we will analyze of compressing image sequence, Image quality, supporting Alpha channels in compositing, and Z-depth information. The purpose of this paper is providing to 3D Pipeline as a guideline about effective image sequence format.
