1. After the Chu Dynasty(周代), we can confirm the fish shape mark made of stones as the relics of the Chunkuk dynasty(戰國時代). As for the public, it is hard to understand semiotics because of the scope of an enormous semiotics education. This study is making semiotics of Charles Sanders Peirce the subject. I thought that utilization can hold his semiotics study in a visual design field. First of all, this study considered design related papers related to the existing semiotics again and study found an error of the existing semiotics study and understanding did category concept with re-definition about semiotics of Peirce. Explained a symbol mark through understanding of semiotics of Peirce. This study was able to get the following conclusion through these results. 1) A symbol mark means one product, sonics, company oneself with a custom. Therefore, it is a rule symbol in the Representation side. 2) A symbol mark symbolizes an object with one symbol, so a symbol mark is a symbol in an object. 3) Because a symbol mark exists through a social rule, in semiotics definition of Peirce, this must become understanding with a Argument symbol. 4) A symbol mark is what a company or an organization field used from the past, and the public are recognizing this how. Therefore, it works as fact a company attaches a symbol mark to own product, and to show the public a symbol mark. A symbol mark is Dicent Sign in Interpretant. A rule and understanding about a lot of types which have various mutual relation, Peirce classification and understanding of a symbol mark tells to demand is holding that understanding a type of semiotics with the concept that is not an image to us.

The purpose is to study the identification method of Huangjinju powder for injection and the medicinal materials by the fingerprint off-ray Diffraction Fourier (XRDF). We used the same method on both the studying of Huangjinju and the medicinal materials. Then we selected a few components alignment to compare. We analyzed the data by setting up the deviation $d({\AA})$ as ${\pm}0.05$ to calculate the rate of special mark on the sample (Px) and on the patent (P). The special XRDF of Huangjinju$[d({\AA})/(I/I_0)]$ have 5 peaks that have not expressed in medicinal materials. Therefore Px is 22.73%. Flos Trollii Chinensis has 3 special marks and Px is 17.65%. Flos Chrysanthemi Indici has 1 special mark and Px is 3.57%. Its coincided interplanar spacing with the patent is $2.907{\AA}$. Flos Lonicerae Japonicae has 6 special marks and Px is 23.08%. Its special mark in the patent are 4.95/14 and 4.50/15, respectively. The P is 9.09%. Its coincided interplanar spacing with the patent is $2.910{\AA}\;and\;3.05{\AA}$, respectively. The number of special XRDF mark peaks of baicalin is 9 and Px is 18.37%. Its coincided interplanar spacing with the patent is $2.910{\AA}$. It has visible mark and specificity adopting XRDF fingerprint to identify Huangjinju and medicinal materials. Establishing the quality standard is a synthetic index that depends both on special marks in the medicinal materials of the patent and on the coincidence peak data.

In this paper, we proposed a forensic mark algorithm which can embed the distributor's information at each distribution step to trace the illegal distribution path. For this purpose, the algorithm has to have the high capacity payload for embedding the copyright and user information at each step, and the embedded information at a step should not interfere with the information at other step. The proposed algorithm can trace the multilevel distribution because the forensic mark is generated by digital hologram and embedded in the DWT-SVD domain. For the high capacity embedding, the off-axis hologram is generated from the forensic mark and the hologram is embedded in the HL, LH, HH bands of the DWT to reduce the signal interference. The SVD which is applied the holographic signal enhanced the detection performance and the safety of the forensic mark algorithm. As the test results, this algorithm was able to embed 128bits information for the copyright and user information at each step. In this paper, we can embed total 384bits information for 3 steps and the algorithm is also robust to the JPEG compression.

The aim of this study is to analyze the frequency of the mark points of all examination subjects, the correlation between all examination subjects and the factors to influence pass of the examination. The methodology of this study are as follows.1. The descriptive analysis mark points of the examination subjects. 2. The correlation analysis between the examination subjects. 3. The multiple regression analysis among the examination subjects. Every mark points tend to be changed in wide ranges according to the student's learning ability. On the certificates examination for marine officers, Students in deck part recorded higher in rate of successful applicants, but showed more subject failure than those in engine part. It is especially suggested for the students to improve the teaching and learning skills of the subject. The high correlation subject to total and average points were found in English subject. The high correlation subject was shown between English & Ship handling, Engineering 1&2 and English & Engineering 1,2,3. The most influential subjects to pass the examination were Navigation, English, Engineering 3.

This study describes a problem of the Original Bench Mark which is used currently. We calculate New Mean Sea Level(MSL) in Incheon Port using tide data for 57 months and take 8 points GPS/Leveling data in research area. We calculate orthometric height of one control point using tide data and GPS/Leveling data. After fixed the control point, we decide final orthometric heights using relative geoidal height and ellipsoidal height from GPS survey. To analysis the Original Bench Mark compares final orthometric heights with the orthometric heights in Korea height system. We get the result that the New Original Bench Mark's height is 26.7176m. It appears 3.05cm difference as the Original Bench Mark's height is 26.6871cm in Korea height system.

A human bite-mark shows special feature according to the suspect's dentition. The teeth which most frequently give useful bite-marks are six upper and lower anteriors, while the premolar teeth somtimes give marks it is often difficult to distinguish. The author tried to classify and to analize the anterior dentition which makes the bite-mark directly by means of 672 maxillary and 691 mandibular stone model taken from Korean adult aging from 17 to 40 years old. The results were as follows : 1. There was no particular correlation between the presence of six normal-shaped and correctly positioned upper and lower anteriors and the presence of rotation of teeth. 2. Inter central incisor, inter lateral incisor, inter canine width and angles of adjecent teeth were not identical eath other in studied models. 3. The results of this analysis supported the statement that any bite-mark had no same feature.

본 논문은 손실 압축(lossy compression)에 강인한 오디오 워터마킹(audio watermarking) 기술을 제안한다. 제안된 워터마킹 기술은 온라인으로 유통되고 있는 MP3, AAC, WMA, RA, ATRAC 등과 같은 대부분의 오디오 압축 포멧으로 변형되더라도 삽입된 정보를 검출할 수 있다. 실험 결과 BER 이 9% 이내로 오류 정정 코드 (error correction code)를 이용해서 삽입 정보를 100% 검출 가능하였다.

Social development led to systematic changes in the gender division of housework and the increase of house husbands. Accordingly, the demand for programs on child rearing for fathers is high. This study aimed to present a design for the brand mark and station identification for a TV channel specializing in childcare for house husbands. This study designed a brand mark and an applied brand mark, based on a literary review of previous studies. A survey on the necessity, preference and brand awareness of this channel was conducted twice afterwards, targeting 55 parents who are raising children who are in between the age of 6 months to 37 months. The first survey showed that the parents are in need of childcare-related channels due to their worries and fear towards childcare. When asked about their preferences and brand awareness towards this channel, some respondents were negative towards the form and colors used in the proposed brand mark and applied brand mark. This was reflected in the improved version and was tested in the second survey, which showed that respondents preferred the form that reminded them of children and found it more suitable. In regards to colors, respondents preferred high chroma navy blue.

This study is aimed at understanding the color extendibility of color-field abstract through Mark Rothko's paintings. Color extendibility is a structure applied by Mark Rothko. He simplifies it and by pursuing autonomy and immediacy of the color itself, including surface color and the front of color-field, Rothko creates value through motions in his square paintings of non-fixed shapes. Chapter 2 revisits the meaning of color in abstract expressionism and explains the principle of color-field by applying the concept of ergon and parergon. In chapter 3, the principle, processes, methods, techniques of expression were studied as a basis to understand color extendibility and color-field abstract. In chapter 4, the works of Mark Rothko were analyzed based on his multiform paintings(1946-1948), number and untitled(1949-1957), and black paintings(1958-1970) in order to identify, in the final chapter, the features of color extendibility in Rothko's works. According to the above research, the thesis successfully concludes that the artist's reconstruction of reality and readjustment of transcendent reality are reproduced via color extendibility, the movement of color-field.
