Kisspeptin has been reported to facilitate sexual maturation and ovulation by directly stimulating GnRH neurons via its receptor, GPR54. The KiSS-GPR54 system is playing an important role in the reproduction of several mammalian species. However, little is known about their function in fish. The aim of this study is to understand the physiological function and evolutionary conservation of KiSS-GPR54 system in teleost fish blacktip grouper, Epinephelus fasciatus. In the present study, we have partial cloned KiSS1, KiSS2 GPR54 mRNAs from a brain samples. Tissue distribution analysis using RT-PCR revealed that the KiSS1, KiSS2, GPR54 transcripts were expressed in different tissue. The KiSS-GPR54 system in gonadal of immature and mature stage were analyzed using qRT-PCR. The partial sequence of KiSS1, KiSS2, GPR54 were 232 bp, 304 bp, 613 bp long, respectively. KiSS1, KiSS2, GPR54 mRNAs are shown common expression in the brain. The amount of KiSS1, KiSS2 mRNAs expression were significantly higher in mature stage than immature stage. However GPR54 mRNA expression was higher in immature stage. These results are in good agreement with the hypothesis that KiSS-GPR54 system plays an important role in the regulation of reproductive function in the blacktip grouper.

The effects of roll diameter, winding time, winding methods and relative humidity on curl In newsprints(46$g/m^2$, 54 $g/m^2$, and 54 $g/m^2$ SNC) are examined. The larger MD curl appears at smaller roll diameter, with the extension of winding time, and at the treat ment of soft nip calendering. The MD curl shows the back side curl at winding methods with top side as outer side(TSO), and the top side curl with top side as inner side(TSI). While the CD curl in newsprints( 46 $g/m^2$, and 54 $g/m^2$ SNC) treated with calender is hardly influenced by the storage times, roll diameter, and winding methods. However the CD curl in newsprint(54 $g/m^2$) gradually increases to a two weeks, and then hold constant regardless of roll diameter and winding methods.. The CD curl shows always the top side curl regardless of winding methods. At high relative humidity, the CD curl largely reduces, but the MD curl is not nearly changed. Especially, the CD curl in news-prints(54 $g/m^2$ SNC) is little affected by the changes of relative humidity.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of PPARβ/δ over-expression on PGC-1α mRNA and protein stability after single bout of swimming exercise in mice skeletal muscle. Empty vector (EV) or PPARβ/δ was over-expressed in tibialis anterior(TA) using electroporation(EPO) technique to compare with non-treatment muscle(control; Con). TA muscles were dissected at 0h, 24h or 54h after termination of exercise. PGC-1α mRNA in Con, EV and PPARβ/δ over-expressed muscles were increased 6.8 fold (p<.001), 6.2 fold(p<.001) and 7.1 fold(p<.001), respectively, than sedentary(Sed) group at 0h after exercise and then reverted to Sed group levels at 24h and 54h after termination of exercise. PGC-1α and PGC-1α ubiquitination in EV treated muscles were increased 2.2 fold and 1.74 fold, respectively, than Sed group at 24h after termination of exercise, and then reverted to Sed group levels at 54h after termination of exercise. PGC-1α in PPARβ/δ over-expressed muscles at 24h and 54h after termination of exercise were increased 2.5 fold and 2.2 fold, respectively, than Sed group, but PGC-1α ubiquitination was not increased at 24h and 54h after termination of exercise. Our results indicate that PPARβ/δ over-expression does not increase PGC-1α mRNA stability, but increase PGC-1α protein stability through post-translation mechanism after termination of exercise.

Enterobacter sp. B54 inhibited growth of the fungus Phytophthora capsici on potato dextrose agar (PDA). Three mutants with antifungal activities (denoted M54-47, M54-113, and M54-329) which were lost or increased, through Pl::Tn5 lac mutagenesis, were used to isolate genes responsible for fungal inhibition on PDA. Two clones were selected from the partially EcoR1-digested genomic library of the wild-type strain by probing with genomic flanking sequences of each mutant. We have isolated a 20-kb EcoR1 genomic DNA fragment from this strain that contains genes involved in hyphal growth inhibition of P. capsici on PDA. Subcloning and expression analysis of the above DNA fragment identified a 8-kb region which was necessary for antifungal activities. A 8-kb HindⅢDNA fragment covers three genomic loci inserted by Tn5 lac in each mutant. This suggested that all genes which are related to antifungal activities might be clustered in simple forms of at least 5-8 kb sizes.

Objectives : The aim of this paper is finding the combinations of the medicinal herbs that are used frequently by analyzing the details of the herbal medicinal prescriptions used by the patients who were diagnosed with M54 code diseases. In addition, I will seek to assess the demonstrative pattern that frequently manifest in the M54 code disease patients by using the combinations of the medicinal herbs that are used frequently. Methods : After having extracted the prescription administered to the patients with the diagnostic code of M54, find the relevance with the demonstrative pattern by analyzing the combination for each of the medicinal herb effectiveness. Use the list of medicinal herbs utilized in the corresponding prescription to examine the most frequent combination of the medicinal herbs through the generation of up to 25 arbitrary combinations of the medicinal herbs. Results & Conclusions : As the results of the analysis of the details of the use of the prescribed herbal medicine packages by the Korean Medicine Hospital of Pusan National University, regarding the back pain of the diagnostic code M54, the prescriptions that corresponded to the kidney deficiency pattern, static blood pattern, wind pattern, dampness pattern, food accumulation pattern, qi depression pattern and phlegm-retained fluid pattern back pain among the back pain classifications under the Dongeuibogam (東醫寶鑑) were used frequently, and, regarding the Nape Pain, prescriptions that corresponded to the pain arising from the wind-dampness and phlegm the 'Taeyang meridian' was most frequent.

In this work, a 54 GHz divide-by-3 injection-locked frequency divider(ILFD) based on ring oscillator has been developed in a 0.13-${\mu}M$ Si RFCMOS technology for phase-locked loop(PLL) application. The free-running frequency is 18.92~19.31 GHz with tuning range of 0~1.8 V, consuming 70 mW with a 1.8 V supply voltage. At 0 dBm input power, the locking range is 1.02 GHz(54.82~55.84 GHz) and, with varactor tuning of 0~1.8 V, the total operating range is 2.4 GHz(54.82~57.17 GHz). The fabricated circuit size is 0.42 mm${\times}$0.6 mm including probing pads and 0.099 mm${\times}$0.056 mm for core area.

In this study, a pepA gene encoding glutamyl (aspartyl)-specific aminopeptidase (PepA; E.C. 3.4.11.7) was cloned from Tetragenococcus halophilus CY54. The translated PepA from T. halophilus CY54 showed very low similarities with PepAs from Lactobacillus and Lactococcus genera. The pepA from T. halophilus CY54 was overexpressed in E. coli BL21(DE3) using pET26b(+). The recombinant PepA was purified by using an Ni- NTA column. The size of the recombinant PepA was 39.13 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE, while its optimum pH and temperature were pH 5.0 and 60℃, respectively. In addition, the PepA was completely inactivated by 1 mM EDTA, indicating its metallopeptidase nature. The Km and Vmax of the PepA were 0.98 ± 0.006 mM and 0.1 ± 0.002 mM/min, respectively, when Glu-pNA was used as the substrate. This is the first report on PepA from Tetragenococcus species.

Let M be a manifold with a volume form ${\omega}$ and $f:M{\rightarrow}M$ be a diffeomorphism of class 𝒞$^1$ that preserves ${\omega}$. We prove that if M is almost bounded for the diffeomorphism f, then M is chain recurrent. Moreover, we get that Lagrange stable volume-preserving manifolds are also chain recurrent.

This study is for estimate the amount of water supplied data to get a database for economic plan of water supply system by survey for the amount of water supplied of primary, middle and highschool. For this, 54 of primary school, middle school, high school in 6 cities of Kangwon for 5 years. As a result, average of the amount of water supplied per month is $600.7m^3/mon$ and primary, middle schools are $484.2m^3/mon$ and high schools are $833.8m^3/mon$. Average of the amount of water supplied per class is $27.0m^3/mon/class$ and primary, middle schools are $24.4m^3/mon/class$ and high schools are $32m^3/mon/class$. Average of the amount of water supplied per person per day is 55.8l/c/d and primary school, middle schools are 54.4l/c/d and high schools are 58.6l/c/d.
