  • Oxyfluorfen에 내성(耐性) 벼 3품종(品種)과 감수성(感受性) 벼 4품종(品種) 및 피를 공시하여 $10^{-6}M$ 농도로 처리하여 24시간 암배양(暗培養)하고 광(光)에 0, 2, 4, 6시간 노출 후에 항산화효소(抗酸化酵素)의 활성 차이와 항산화효소(抗酸化酵素)의 isozyme 변화를 조사하였다. 1 내성(耐性) 및 감수성(感受性) 벼품종(品種) 자체의 APOX, CAL, POX, NR, GR, MDAR 및 SOD의 항산화효소(抗酸化酵素) 활성(活性)은 차이가 없었으나, 감수성(感受性)인 피는 다른 벼품종(品種)들보다 활성(活性)이 아주 낮았다. 그리고 lipoxygenase는 내성(耐性) 벼품종(品種)들보다 감수성(感受性) 벼품종(品種)과 피에서 활성(活性)이 다소 높은 경향이었다. 2. Oxyfluorfen 처리 후 항산화효소(抗酸化酵素)인 MDAR, POX, GR 및 SOD는 내성(耐性) 벼품종(品種)들이 감수성(感受性) 벼품종(品種)들과 피보다 활성(活性)이 높았다. 3. Oxyfluorfen 처리 후 POX 동위효소(同位酵素)변화는 처리농도가 증가할수록 내성(耐性) 벼품종(品種)들에서 C band 활성(活性)이 증가하였으나, 감수성(感受性) 벼품종(品種)에서는 활성(活性)증가가 없었다. 감수성(感受性) 피에서는 B band가 $10^{-4}M$ 처리에서 활성(活性)이 다소 감소하였다. 4. Oxyfluorfen 처리에 따른 GR, SOD 및 AO 동위효소(同位酵素)는 내성(耐性)과 감수성(感受性) 벼품종(品種)들간에 각 band 활성(活性)은 차이가 없었으나, GR 동위효소(同位酵素)는 $10^{-4}M$ 처리시 감수성(感受性)인 피에서 C band가 소실되었다. 5. Oxyfluorfen 처리에 따른 esterase 동위효소(同位酵素)의 변화는 B, C 및 D band에서 내성(耐性) 벼품종(品種)보다 감수성(感受性) 벼품종(品種)에서 활성(活性)감소가 컸으며, 감수성(感受性)인 피는 $10^{-4}M$ 처리시 A band가 소실되었다.

우리나라 남부지역(南部地域) 화강편마암질(花崗片麻巖質) 삼림토양(森林土壤)의 토양생성(土壤生成) (Pedogenesis of Forest Soils(Kandiustalfs) Derived from Granite Gneiss in Southern Part of Korea)

  • 화강편마암질(花崗片麻巖質) 삼림토양(森林土壤)은 우리나라 국토면적(國士面積)의 1/3에 해당(該當)한다. 이 논문은 우리나라 남부지역에 있는 전남 순천시 소재 화강편마암질(花崗片麻巖質) 삼림토양(森林土壤)의 풍화(風化) 과정(過程)과 1차광물(一次鑛物)이 2차광물(二次鑛物)인 점토광물(粘土鑛物)로 풍화변성(風化變成)하는 광정(過程)에 대하여 연구(硏究)하였다. 이 삼림토양(森林土壤)은 많은 양(量)의 푸오하(風化) 흑운모(黑雲母)와 같은 Ferromagnesian mineral을 함유하고 있으며 풍화(風化)가 잘된 토양(土壤)으로서 강산성(强酸性)이고 유기물(有機物)의 함량(含量)이 적으며 CEC 값이 낮다. 토양단면 Bt층에는 점토광물(粘土鑛物)의 함량(含量)이 C층 보다 배(倍)나 많고 O층은 토층(土層)이 엷고 분해된 식물유휴(植物遺休)가 적으며 다공성(多孔性)으로서 Granic fabric이고 Moder humus의 토양미세형태학적(土壤微細形態學的)인 특징(特徵)을 가지고 있다. E층의 Related distribution pattern은 Enaulic이며 많은 양(量)의 미사(微砂)를 함유(含有)하고 있으나 모래량은 Bt, C층에 비하여 매우 적은 것이 특징(特徵)이다. Bt, C층에서 토양미세형태학적(土壤微細形態學的)인 특징(特徵)으로 볼 수 있는 공극(空隙)에서 Multilaminated clay coating과 Infilling을 볼 수 있으며 토양(土壤)의 색(色)을 붉게 해주는 Ferriargillan이 흑운모(黑雲母)로부터 분리(分離)되어 형성(形成)된다. Bt층에서 점토(粘土)의 함량이 높은 것은 점토(粘土)가 운반 집적된 것은 물론 풍화(風化) 원위치(原位置)에서 강력(彈力)한 풍화작용(風化作用) 결과(結果)에서 비롯된 것이다. 편광현미경과 SEM으로 관찰한 바 토양생성과정(土壤生成過程)중 아주 특이한 것은 흑운모(黑雲母)로부터 산화철(酸化鐵)의 형성(形成)이며, Tubular halloysite의 형성(形成)과 두가지 형태의 흑운모(黑雲母) 풍화(風化)모델 (Wedge weathering과 Layer weathering)의 확인(確認)되었다. 흑운모(黑雲母) 풍화(風化)에서 2차광물(二次鑛物)인 산화철(酸化鐵)이 흑운모(黑雲母) 표면(表面)에 두껍게 입혀지는 것이 특징(特徵)이며 점토광물(粘土鑛物)의 TEM 관찰(觀察)로 밝혀진 바, synthetic hematite의 존재(存在)가 확인(確認)되었다. 점토(粘土)의 화확분석(化學分析)에서 많은 양의 Ca, Na의 유실(流失)을 확인(確認)할 수 있었으며 상당량(量)의 Fe와 Al 이온이 유리(遊離)되어 있음을 밝힐 수 있었다. 점토(粘土)의 XRD에 의하여 운모(雲母)가 Kaolinite, Vermiculite-kaolinite intergrade, Hematite, Gibbsite 등 점토광물(粘土鑛物)로 변성됨을 확인(確認)할 수 있었으며 한편 Halloysite는 다른 1차광물(一次鑛物)에서 풍화형성(風化形成)된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또 풍화(風化)가 되지 않은 약간의 Dioctahedral mica의 존재(存在)를 확인(確認)할 수 있었다. 모암(母岩)에 상당량(相當量)의 흑운모(黑雲母)를 함유(含有)하고 있으며 이 화강편마암질(花崗片麻巖質) 삼림토양(森林土壤)은 흑운모(黑雲母)의 풍화(風化)에 대한 특징(特徵)을 보여 주고 있다.

오크라 분말의 Quercetin-3-𝑜-Gentiobioside 및 Isoquercitrin의 분석법 개선 및 검증 (Improvement and Validation of an Analytical Method for Quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside and Isoquercitrin in Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench)

  • 본 연구에서는 오크라를 이용하여 건강기능식품 개발 시원료의 표준화를 위하여 HPLC-PDA를 이용하여 지표성분 quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 기존 보고된 분석법을 개선하고 분석법에 대한 유효성 검증을 실시하였다. 분석법의 유효성 검증은 ICH 가이드라인에 근거하여 특이성, 직선성, 정확성, 정밀성, 검출한계 및 정량한계를 통해 신뢰성 및 타당성을 검증하였다. HPLC를 이용한 분석방법에서 표준용액의 지표성분 피크 머무름 시간과 오크라 분말 시료의 지표성분 피크 머무름 시간 및 spectrum의 확인결과 모두 일치하므로 특이성을 확인하였다. Quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 검량선은 1에 가까운 높은 상관계수 값(0.9999, 0.9999)으로 우수한 직선성을 확인할 수 있었으며 분석에 적합함을 알 수 있었다. 농도를 알고 있는 오크라 분말 시료에 표준물질을 저, 중, 고농도로 제조한 후 첨가하여 정밀성 및 정확성을 계산하였다. Quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 정밀성은 일내, 일간 정밀성으로 확인하였으며, quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 일내 정밀성은 각각 0.50-1.48%, 0.77-2.82% 수준으로 확인되었으며, 일간 정밀성은 0.07-3.37%, 0.58-1.37% 수준으로 5% 이하의 우수한 정밀성을 보였다. 정확성 측정결과 quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 일내 정확성은 104.87-109.64%, 108.50-109.70%를 나타내었으며, 일간 정확성은 106.69-111.08%, 106.85-109.06% 수준으로 우수한 정확성을 나타내었다. Quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 검출한계는 각각 0.24 ㎍/mL, 0.16 ㎍/mL이었고 정량한계는 0.71 ㎍/mL, 0.49 ㎍/mL로 나타내어, 낮은 농도에서도 검출이 가능함을 확인하였다. 확립된 분석법은 특이성, 직선성, 정밀성, 정확성, 검출한계 및 정량한계에 대한 분석법 검증결과가 모두 우수한 분석법임을 증명하였다. 또한 검증된 분석법을 이용하여 오크라 분말 시료 중 quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 함량분석 결과, quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside은 1.49±0.01 mg/dry weight g, isoquercitrin은 1.39±0.01 mg/dry weight g의 함량을 함유하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 HPLC-PDA를 이용한 오크라의 지표성분인 quercetin-3-𝑜-gentiobioside 및 isoquercitrin의 동시 분석방법이 과학적으로 신뢰성이 있는 적합한 분석방법임이 검증되었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. 옹진군 어장관리해역의 수질 및 퇴적물 환경 특성 (Environmental Characteristics of Seawater and Sediment in Mariculture Management Area in Ongjin-gun, Korea)

  • 어장관리해역으로 지정된 옹진군의 수질 및 퇴적물 환경 특성을 파악하기 위하여 2011년에 4개 도서(장봉도, 자월도, 영흥도, 백령도)를 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 수온은 $9.49{\sim}24.14^{\circ}C$로 계절변동 특성을 잘 나타내었고, 염분(23.19~31.49)과 용존산소(5.48~9.36 mg/L)는 수온과 역상관성을 보였으며, 화학적산소요구량(COD)은 평균 1.57 mg/L로 전체적으로 양호한 수준이었다. DIN과 DIP는 각각 0.111~0.666 mg/L, 0.002~0.043 mg/L의 범위로 전 정점에서 낮은 분포를 보였고, 엽록소 a의 농도는 $0.02{\sim}8.07{\mu}g/L$ 범위로 서해의 다른 해역보다 낮았다. 퇴적물의 입도 분포는 모래와 실트가 각각 56.7 %, 34.6 %로 우세하였고, 분급은 불량하였다. 퇴적물의 화학적산소요구량과 강열감량은 각각 $1.00{\sim}11.03mg/g{\cdot}dry$, 0.72~5.29 %의 범위로 시 공간적으로 유사한 경향을 보였다. 총유기탄소와 총질소의 C/N ratio는 8.17~17.97 범위로 하계에 육상기원과 해양기원에 의한 영향이 혼재하는 것으로 나타났다. 표층퇴적물의 미량금속 오염도 평가를 위해 농집지수($I_{geo}$)를 계산한 결과, Cr과 As를 제외한 나머지 금속원소에 의한 오염은 없는 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 연구 결과는 본 연구지역이 전체적으로 양호한 수질을 보이며, 유기물과 금속원소에 의한 표층퇴적물의 오염이 없다는 것을 보여준다.

  • 이 연구는 자생식물과 귀화식물이 분포하고 있는 중부 서해안에서의 토양특성과 식물 군락을 조사하여 해안지역에 출현하는 귀화식물을 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 수행하였다. 연구 대상지는 충청남도 서천군, 보령시, 안면도, 태안군과 전라북도 부안군 일대의 해안사구 중 식물군락 발달이 양호한 8개 지역을 선정하였다. 2010년 4월부터 10월까지 $5m{\times}5m$ 크기의 조사구 총 69개소에서 토양 및 식생특성을 분석하였다. 조사지역 토성은 대부분 사토였으며, 자생식물 중 초본군락이 분포한 지역의 평균 토양산도는 pH 7.77, 목본군락은 pH 7.31로써 약알카리성과 중성으로 나타났으며, 염분농도는 초본군락이 평균 0.03%, 목본군락이 0.01%였다. 전기전도도는 초본군락이 $0.52ds.m^{-1}$, 목본군락이 $0.23ds.m^{-1}$로 나타났다. 귀화식물 중 초본군락이 분포한 지역의 평균 토양산도는 pH 7.12, 목본군락은 pH 7.34로써 중성에 가깝게 나타났다. 염분농도는 초본군락 0.01%, 목본군락 0.01%로 동일했으나 자생식물과는 차이가 있었다. 전기전도도는 초본군락 $0.29ds.m^{-1}$, 목본군락 $0.20ds.m^{-1}$로 나타났다. 해안사구 지역에서 군락을 이루고 분포하는 식물은 초본식물 20종, 목본식물 8종으로 총 17과 28종이었다. 귀화 식물은 7종, 자생식물은 21종이었다. 귀화식물은 평균적으로 자생식물보다 염분농도가 낮은 곳에서 출현하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500,550,570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100,300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation.
