A nine-month-old male Jindo with non weight-bearing on the right forelimb in flexed position, pain and edema of the elbow, and resist elbow extension was brought to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Chungbuk National University. Elbow radiographs showed loss of humeroradial joint space and lateral displacement of the radius and ulna. Closed reduction was reported the best therapy in most cases of luxation of the elbow but conservative reduction was impossible. Open reduction of the luxated elbow was performed and ruptured collateral ligaments were identified. Displaced elbow was required bloody surgical operation and gentle reduction to restore elbow joint. Internal reduction of choice for elbow luxation with rupture of collateral ligament in the dog was a double locking-loop suture pattern. To ensure secure grasping of parallel bundles of ligament fibers to transverse bites of each suture were placed superficial to the longitudinal bites. All ligaments were repaired with 3-metric (size 2 USP) monofilament polypropylene suture. No complications have been noted during a five-month follow up.

A case of gastric adenocarcinoma signet ring cell type was described in a ten-year-old female Jindo dog having about three months history of vomiting, anorexia and weight loss. On radiology, ultrasonography and computed tomography, thickness of the gastric fundus was irregularly increased. On necropsy, the gastric fundus was markedly thickened and gastric rugae were attenuated. The cardia and distal esophagus were also thickened. On histopathology, the mucosa was obliterated by neoplastic proliferation of round to polyhedral cells. The neoplastic cells had abundant vacuolated cytoplasm containing mucin. The neoplasm was infiltrated into the submucosa and muscle layer. Metastatic focus was not observed.

A 9-month-old, intact female mixed dog was referred to Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Gyeongsang National University with symmetrically enlarged and protruded upper jaw. The patient was diagnosed as acute renal failure due to ethylene glycol poisoning and was treated for 1 month in a local animal hospital. In spite of treatment, the patient proceeded to chronic renal failure. Also, the patient's upper jaw begun to enlarge continuously. To evaluate this upper jaw, radiographic examination was performed. Skull radiographs revealed thickening of maxilla, decreased bone opacity, cortical thinning, loss of lamina dura and periodontal space in the maxilla. Diagnosis of rubber jaw syndrome is based on clinicial signs, radiographic findings and laboratory evidence of chronic renal failure due to ethylene glycol poisoning.

A 4-month-old, intact male, Tosa with a history of a regurgitation, vomiting, and weight loss for three weeks was presented to Animal Medical Center, Chonbuk National University. In Serial plain radiographs, a severely distended stomach was seen and ultrasonogram revealed a nonfunctional pylorus with normal layer comparable with an obstruction of pyloric region by pyloric achalasia. An esophagram and endoscopy revealed normal peristalsis with failure of the lower esophageal sphincter to open, supporting the diagnosis of esophageal achalasia. Megaesophagus was observed on reradiograph and esophagram 11 days later. The clinical signs and esophageal dilation were resolved without resorting to any treatment.

An 11-year-old castrated male Maltese had vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal distension for over two weeks and weight loss for several months. Clinical laboratory studies were not remarkable. Abdominal radiographs showed severe dilated intestine with a gravel sign. Colon was empty with normal diameter in the pneumocolon study. On ultrasonographs, most small bowel loops were dilated without normal peristalsis and showed abnormal thin wall. Barium contrast study revealed remarkably delayed gastric emptying and transit time up to $6^{th}$ day. On exploratory laparotomy, there were no mechanical obstruction and extra-intestinal abnormalities except severe dilated small intestine. Chronic fibrosing lymphohistiocytic leiomyositis with atrophy of tunica muscularis in the small intestines and colon was identified through full thickness biopsy and histopathology. Therefore, primary myopathic chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction was diagnosed. This dog is survival with symptomatic treatments for eight months.

A 6-year-old female, shih-tzu was presented in the February with bilateral, symmetrical hair loss and hyperpigmentation on caudal dorsolumbar region. Skin test and blood examination found no remarkable finding. Histopathological examination of biopsies from the alopecic lesions revealed follicular atrophy, infundibular hyperkeratosis and some follicles were twisted truncated and dilated. The diagnosis of recurrent flank alopecia was based on clinical signs and supportive histopathology. Treatment with oral melatonin was started at 3 mg twice daily for 80 days, and by this time complete hair regrowth was observed. The following year in the September, a small non-inflammatory alopecia developed in the same site. The dog was given oral melatonin at 3 mg twice daily for 4 weeks, hair had completely regrown.

In plate mill studies on crop decrease of the top and bottom ends of hot rolled plate have been performed. The plane view shape for the thin plate after broadside rolling was controlled by roll gap difference with AGC in broadside rolling process. New models for thin slab after broadside rolling have been formulated based on the actual production rolling data to give optimal rolling condition A new plate rolling method called by dog bone rolling has been applied making it is possible to prevent non-uniform plastic deformation at top and bottom ends. By new rolling method crop losses of rolled plate have been improved by 10% on average with an effective fishtail crop shape.

A 2-year-old, female Pomeranian dog was referred for dyspnea. Thoracic radiographs revealed left-sided mediastinal shift, increased soft tissue opacity in the caudal aspect of left thorax with loss of the left diaphragmatic silhouette, and dorsal elevation of mediastinal structures and heart from the sternum by lung tissue. The left main bronchus was visualized as an air-bronchogram and observed to abruptly discontinue at the level of the 10th rib. Thoracic computed tomography (CT) revealed absence of the left lung parenchyma and left pulmonary vessels with a rudimentary left main bronchus. The case was congenital pulmonary aplasia diagnosed via radiography and CT.

A 5-year-old, castrated male, Maltese was presented with history of acute flaccid paralysis. The dog was presented with sudden loss of muscle tone and involuntary movements of hind limbs. Neurologic examination revealed reduced postural reaction in the bilateral hind limbs. MRI of brain showed moderate hydrocephalus, but other examination results were normal. Based on the characteristic episodes and examination results, canine cataplexy was suspected. Treatment was initiated with clomipramine as cataplexy control. Clinical signs resolved with 3-month medication. This case demonstrates therapeutic diagnosis of cataplexy. To the author's knowledge, this is the first report of cataplexy treating with clomipramine.

An 8-year-old neutralized male Dachshund was presented with severe vomiting, anorexia, and weight loss for two weeks. The patient had to feed in a standing position due to problem of vomiting immediately after meal. Serum chemistry and CBC results were all within reference limits. CT imaging revealed a mass distributed widely in the caudal part of the esophagus including the sphincter and the gastric cardia. Complete surgical removal was difficult because of adhesion to the caudal vena cava. A partial surgical excision and gastropexy with MIC-key feeding tube were performed under the owner's permission. Histologically, the mass was interpreted as leiomyoma. This patient is doing well at present time, six years after the tube installation in 2015.
