경화 콘크리트의 단위 시멘트량 추정 방법에 관한 기초적 연구 (A Fundamental Study on the Estimation of Unit Cement Content in Hardened Concrete (Test Method by Sodium Gluconate))

  • The purpose of this study is to propose new estimation method of unit cement content in hardened concrete. In general, the quantity of cement in hardened concrete is tested by hydrochlonic acid dissolving cement paste, however, hydrochloric acid dissolves sea shell contained in sea sand and lime stone in concrete. Therefore, the tested cement content is apt to estimate greater than actual cement content. The sodium gluconate solution dissolves only cement in concrete, it is hard to dissolve sea shell and lime stone as CaCo3. The effects of the quantity, concentration and temperature of sodium gluconate solution, the ignition temperature, the ignition loss of cement on the cement content and the percentage of dissolution of cement were investigated to establish a test method. From the results of these tests, the fundamental test method for cement content of hardened concrete by sodium gluconate is proposed.

A Study on the Estimation of Human Damage Caused by the LP Gas Flame in Enclosure using Probit Model

  • The energetic and environmental problems have been getting serious after the revolution of modern industry. Therefore, demand of gas as an eco-friendly energy source is increasing. With the demand of gas, the use of gas is also increased, so injury and loss of life by the fire have been increasing every year. Hence the influence on flame caused by Vapor Cloud Explosion in enclosure of experimental booth was calculated by using the API regulations. And the accident damage was estimated by applying the influence on the adjacent structures and people into the PROBIT model. According to the probit analysis, the spot which is 5meter away from the flame has nearly 100% of the damage probability by the first-degree burn, 27.8% of the damage probability by the second-degree burn and 14.5% of the death probability by the fire.

  • Parameter estimation of induction motor for vector control presented in this paper can be easily implemented and applied to inverters in the industrial field, because it needs no additional hardware such as voltage sensor and measuring equipment. At first, the stator resistance including switching loss of inverter is measured by simple voltage-current equation. Next, in pre-magnetization of machine by imposing the d-axis constant field-current, q-axis torque current is forced to the machine until its speed feedback reachs to pre-defined level of speed limit. At this time, we can measure the rotor time-constant by decreasing the distorted output-voltage of inverter. At last, stator inductance, transient inductance, and moment of inertia can be measured by the relationship of output voltage, output torque and speed feedback. The validity and usufulness of this method is verified by experimental results.

  • Due to deterioration of bridge, usually be using the external prestressing method among repair reinforcement method. But, there is much to be desired about a detailed account, almost it has analysed by cambers of girders, deflections of middle span and upper, bottom stresses of girders. Also, it is not examined closely that effect of internal prestress by external prestressing. The purpose of this study is confirmed the effect of internal tendons by external prestressing, estimation of additional external prestressing force and look for exact external prestressing force.

  • This study investigates the dynamic characteristics of Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM), with segmental rotor structure, using finite element method in which the moving mesh technique is considered. The focus of this paper is the sensorless vector control parameters estimation of SynRM under saturation and iron loss. Comparisons are given with dynamic characteristics of normal single B-H nonlinear solutions and those of proposed FEM & Preisach model of synchronous reluctance motor, respectively.

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in Gyongin Line demand estimation, because SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation) Line 7 will be extended west by 9.8km from Onsu to meet the Gyongin Line at Bupyeong-gu Office. This study was designed to estimate the change of traffic demand in Gyongin Line before and after the completion year 2011, also provide against the economic loss caused by the derived demand from Gyongin Line to SMRT Line 7. In this paper we give preliminary results for the strategic plans for traffic demand estimation and train operating plan in Gyongin Line by analyzing transport performance of Seoul metropolitan subway, and an additional study on the transportation market and the urban development plan is needed for more accurate results.

  • Metropolitan rapid transit has been used by one of a main transport service for several decades, but there are no monitoring system for electrical equipment condition which can cause enormous economic loss and social problem if fault occurs. Recently, necessity of condition monitoring system for electrical equipment fault came to the fore, we became carrying out a research project for a design of electrical equipment lifetime estimation system for metropolitan rapid transit. In this paper, basic design result of condition monitoring system and specification of transformer partial discharge detection system are presented, which are part of entire lifetime estimation system. Definition of target apparatus and monitoring method determined by analysis of user requirement from each railway company and, each railway company's opinions and requests were collected sufficiently by surveys and discussion.

AR 환경에서의 지진 정보 가시화 방안 연구 (A Study on the Visualization of the Earthquake Information in AR Environments)

  • The earthquake is a natural disaster causing loss of life or property damage and happens more often in Korea recently. Moreover, considering the increase of massive buildings, it is required to predict and visualize the information of the vibration in a building. In this paper, we developed a prototype framework to visualize the displacement information in the AR environments. In order to avoid the irregular halts of the scene and the unnatural distortion of the object, this framework uses the synchronization method at the scene update time and the interpolation of the sensor data for the displacement of vertices. In addition, we studied displacement estimation methods with the acceleration data to extend this framework to the system with accelerators.

  • In this paper, stator form-winding sample coils based on silicone resin and polyimide were made for fault prediction and reliability estimation on the 200 Class insulation system of traction motors. The complex accelerative degradation was performed by periods during 10 cycles, which was composed of thermal stress, fast rising surge voltage, vibration, water immersion and overvoltage applying. After aging of 10 cycles, condition diagnosis test such as insulation resistance & polarization index, capacitance & dielectric loss and partial discharge properties were investigated in the temperature range of 20∼160$^{\circ}C$. Relationship among condition diagnosis test was analyzed to find an dominative degradation factor and an insulation state at end-life point.

3D Visualization for Extremely Dark Scenes Using Merging Reconstruction and Maximum Likelihood Estimation

  • In this paper, we propose a new three-dimensional (3D) photon-counting integral imaging reconstruction method using a merging reconstruction process and maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). The conventional 3D photon-counting reconstruction method extracts photons from elemental images using a Poisson random process and estimates the scene using statistical methods such as MLE. However, it can reduce the photon levels because of an average overlapping calculation. Thus, it may not visualize 3D objects in severely low light environments. In addition, it may not generate high-quality reconstructed 3D images when the number of elemental images is insufficient. To solve these problems, we propose a new 3D photon-counting merging reconstruction method using MLE. It can visualize 3D objects without photon-level loss through a proposed overlapping calculation during the reconstruction process. We confirmed the image quality of our proposed method by performing optical experiments.
