We investigate the spacelike hypersurface Mⁿ with constant mean curvature (CMC) in a Lorentz Einstein manifold Lⁿ⁺¹₁, which is supposed to obey some appropriate curvature constraints. Applying a suitable Simons type formula jointly with the well known generalized maximum principle of Omori-Yau, we obtain some rigidity classification theorems and pinching theorems of hypersurfaces.

We study Einstein lightlike hypersurfaces M of a Lorentzian space form $\tilde{M}(c)$ admitting a semi-symmetric non-metric connection subject to the conditions; (1) M is screen conformal and (2) the structure vector field ${\zeta}$ of $\tilde{M}$ belongs to the screen distribution S(TM). The main result is a characterization theorem for such a lightlike hypersurface.

In this paper we study the geometry of Einstein half light like submanifolds M of a Lorentz manifold ($\bar{M}$(c), $\bar{g}$) of constant curvature c, equipped with an integrable screen distribution on M such that the induced connection ${\nabla}$ is a metric connection and the operator $A_u$ is a screen shape operator.
