고준위방사성폐기물 처분장 모니터링용 피에조센서의 온도 스트레스에 관한 가속수명시험 설계 (Design of accelerated life test on temperature stress of piezoelectric sensor for monitoring high-level nuclear waste repository)

  • 고준위방사성폐기물 처분장은 심지층 처분시스템으로 사용후핵연료를 취급하는 특성상 고온, 방사선 및 지하수 등의 복합적인 환경조건에 노출되어 있다. 지속적인 노출에 의해 시간이 지남에 따라 구조물의 균열 및 열화가 발생할 수 있다. 한편 고준위방사성폐기물 처분장은 초장기 기대수명이 요구되며 이에 따른 장기적인 구조물 건전성 모니터링이 필수적이다. 구조물 건전성 모니터링에는 가속도계, 토압계, 변위계 등 다양한 센서들이 활용될 수 있으며, 이 중 일반적으로 피에조센서가 사용된다. 따라서 피에조센서의 내구성 평가를 바탕으로 고내구성 센서를 개발할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 피에조센서의 내구성 평가 및 수명예측을 위한 가속수명시험을 설계하였다. 문헌연구를 바탕으로 단일 스트레스 인자에 대한 가속 스트레스 수준 수 및 각 수준 별 시료 수를 선정하였다. 또한 고준위방사성폐기물 처분장 환경조건에서 발생할 수 있는 피에조센서의 고장모드 및 고장메커니즘을 분석하였다. 온도 스트레스 인자에 대한 최대 가혹조건 탐색 실험을 두 가지 방법으로 제안하였으며 피에조센서의 신뢰도 높은 동작한계를 도출하였다. 이를 이용하여 가속수명시험의 합리적인 가속 스트레스 수준을 설정하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 최대 가혹조건 탐색 실험방법은 경제적이며 실용적인 아이디어를 담고 있으며, 추후 피에조센서의 가속수명시험 설계에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

포장가속시험기를 이용한 장수명 아스팔프포장의 공용성 평가 연구 (Performance Evaluation of perpetual Asphalt Pavements Using an Accelerated Pavement Tester)

  • 본 연구에서는 일반 아스팔트 포장에 비해 설계수명을 2배 이상 증대시켜 보수주기를 증진하고 보수비용 및 사용자 비용을 절감할 수 있는 장수명 아스팔트 포장에 대한 포장가속시험 (APT)을 수행하였다 먼저 본 연구에서 개발된 장수명 포장용 고강성기층 혼합물에 대한 기초적인 물성시험을 수행하였다. 포장의 지지력을 비교하고 피로 및 소성변형에 대한 저항성을 평가하기 위하여 일반 및 고강성 기층으로 구성된 총 4개의 시험단면을 건설하였다. 또한 일반 및 고강성 단면은 각각 얇은 단면과 두꺼운 단면으로 구성되었다. 다양한 교통하중에 대한 아스팔트 기층하단의 인장변형률을 측정하였으며 시험결과 고강성 단면의 인장변형이 일반단면에 비해 적게 발생되는 것을 확인하였다. 기층 단면이 얇은 포장단면에 대한 APT 시험결과 윤하중이 180,000회 재하될 때까지 균열은 발생하지 않았다. 기층단면이 두꺼운 포장에 대해 윤하중 90,000회 재하시 일반단면은 5.3mm, 고강성 단면은 3m의 소성변형이 발생하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 고강성 혼합물은 소성변형 및 피로균열에 대한 저항성이 우수하기 때문에 장수명 포장용 기층재로서 적합한 것으로 판단된다. 또한 다양한 구조해석 결과 일반 혼합물 대신 고강성 혼합물을 사용할 경우 포장의 하중지지력이 증가하기 때문에 아스팔트층의 단면두께를 최소 5cm 이상 줄일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

궤도형식별 사용레일의 피로수명 평가 (Fatigue Life Evaluation for Used Rail on Track Types)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 궤도형식별로 사용레일의 피로수명을 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위해 궤도형식별 사용레일에 대한 실내피로시험을 수행하여 파괴확률 50%~0.01% 의 S-N 선도를 도출하고, 실험데이터에 대한 가중치 확률해석기법을 사용하여 피로수명을 산출하였다. 여기서, 레일표면요철 및 열차속도를 고려한 사용레일의 휨응력은 기존 연구결과 도출된 레일휨응력 예측식을 이용하여 구하고, S-N 선도로부터 사용레일의 잔존수명을 평가하였다. 평가결과, 자갈도상의 경우 레일의 피로수명이 현 레일교환기준에 비해 약 2억톤 이상 높았고, 콘크리트도상의 레일 피로수명이 자갈궤도에 비해 약 3억톤 이상 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 누적통과톤수에 의한 레일교환기준을 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도로 구분할 필요가 있으며, 레일연마를 통한 레일관리가 이루어진다면 기준값이 아닌 목표값으로 관리할 필요가 있다.

십전대보탕의 장기보관 중 품질변화 (Quality Variation of Sibjeondaebotang according to Long-term Storage)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate of quality variation of Sibujeondaebotang according to storage period and temperature (5 and $25^{\circ}C$) Identificaion test, pH, specific gravity, heavy metal, microbial limit test and glycyrrhizic acid, paeoniflorin content of Sibjeondaebotang were performed during 12 months. The significant change was not shown on identificaion test, specific gravity, microbial limit test under long term storage and the result suited a safe level standards of 'Korean National Standard of Traditional Medicinal (Herbal and Botanical) Materials - "Sibjeondaebotang"'. The test of pH showed meaningful changes between two storage temperature (5 and $25^{\circ}C$) according to increasing storage period. The contents of glycyrrhizic acid and paeoniflorin had no relation with storage temperature($5^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$) but it showed a tendency to decrease according to the length of storage period. We predicted shelf-life of glycyrrhizic acid and paeoniflorin at storgae temperature(5 and $25^{\circ}C$) as about 6 and 3 months, respecttively. Therefore considering glycyrrhizic acid and paeoniflorin, sibjeondaebotang is determined to be in good condition within 3 months, regardless of the room temperature and refrigerated temperature. We were expected to serve as a basis for the guideline of medication counseling sibjeondaebotang.

  • 리튬이온 배터리는 높은 에너지 밀도 빠른 충전조건 긴 사이클수명의 특성으로 여러 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 리튬이온 배터리는 과충전, 과방전, 물리적손상, 고온에서의 사용은 배터리 수명 감소와 보호회로 손상에 의한 화재 및 폭발에 의한 인명피해를 입힐 수 있다. 이러한 배터리의 위험성을 낮추며 배터리 성능을 향상시키기 위해서는 충전 및 방전 과정에서의 특성들을 분석하고 이해하여야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 배터리 충방전기와 시뮬레이터를 활용하여 리튬이온 배터리의 충전 및 방전 특성을 분석하여 과충전 과방전에 따른 배터리 수명 감소와 보호회로 손상에 의한 화재 및 폭발에 의한 인명피해를 줄이고자 한다.

농촌여성의 생활실태분석과 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (A Study on the Living Conditions of Rural Women and the Determinants of Their Life Satisfaction)

  • As rural life has shifted with the long term changes in the internal and external conditions of rural communities, this study aims to investigate the living conditions and life satisfaction of rural women. 70 questionnaires in health, clothing, food, shelter, economic conditions and child-rearing fields were used for a survey of 393 rural women from five rural areas in the northern region of Gyeongsangbuk-Do. Statistical techniques of frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test and regression analysis were employed through 'SPSS Statistics 21'. Participants were divided into 3 groups, with Group A with income less than 15 million won, Group B with income of at least 15 million won and less than 30 million won, and Group C with at least 30 million won. For the life satisfaction and health conditions, Group C showed higher scores than Group A. The food security status of rural women in the research area was worse than that in the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, and food consumption by Group C was higher than that of Group A and Group B. For the satisfaction of kitchen, bathroom facilities and heating system, the income of 15 million won seemed to be the divisive value where richer groups were more satisfied. Job satisfaction seemed more related with the income amount rather than with the job itself. The parenting efficacy and child-rearing satisfaction were higher for Group C than for Group A. Determinants of life satisfaction turned out to be health conditions, heat susceptibility, fruit consumption, kitchen unit satisfaction, job satisfaction and parenting efficacy.

신용회복지원제도 이용자의 특성과 재무상태 분석 : 신용회복위원회 채무조정신청자를 대상으로 (The Characteristics and Financial Status of the Users of the Debt Management Program of the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and financial status of credit delinquents utilizing the debt management program of the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service between January-June in 2007. Total sample of 41,355 cases was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS(Version 12.0). For analysis, descriptive statistics, F-test, Scheffe test, t-test, logit analysis and regression analysis were employed. People in the age range of 30-40s, males, high-school graduates, married couples, part-time employees, costfree residents and residents in other regions were relatively high users of the debt management program. Reasons of credit delinquency were diverse and was combined to credit default. However, increases in expenses and income reductions were found to be the most frequent reasons. Financial conditions of delinquents were worse than those of average persons shown on the national statistics. It was also found that age, sex, educational level, occupation, region of residence, home-ownership, reason of delinquency, income and total outstandings of debt were significant determinants of short-term debt burden which was measured by the ratio of monthly payment to income and long-term debt burden which was measured by repayment period.

  • Measuring sensor, equipment, ICT facilities and their software have relatively short life time comparing to constructional structure so that we should exchange or fix them continuously in the process of maintenance and management. In this paper, we propose a novel design of integrated maintenance, management, and measuring monitoring system applying the concept of mobile cloud. For the sake of disaster prevention for constructional structures such as bridge, tunnel, and other traditional buildings in the village of local heritage, we analyze status of these structures in the long term or short term period as well as disaster situations. Collecting data based on mobile cloud and analyzing future expectations based on probabilistic and statistical techniques, we implement our integrated monitoring system for constructional structures to solve these existing problems. Final results of this design and implementation are basically applied to the monitoring system for more than 10,000 structures spread over national land in Korea. In addition, we can specifically apply the monitoring system presented here to a bridge of timber structure in Asan Oeam Village and a traditional house in Andong Hahoe Village to watch them from possible disasters. Total procedure of system design and implementation as well as development of the platform LinkSaaS and application services of monitoring functions implemented on the platform. We prove a good performance of our system by fulfilling TTA authentication test, web accommodation test, and operation test using real measuring data.

모의 수송 환경에서의 청과물 골판지 상자의 진동 피로에 따른 내구성 (Durability of Corrugated Fiberboard Container for Fruit and Vegetables by Vibration Fatigue at Simulated Transportation Environment)

  • The compression strength of corrugated fiberboard container for packaging the agricultural products rapidly decreases because of various environmental conditions during distribution of unitized products. Among various environmental conditions, the main factors affecting the compression strength of corrugated fiberboard are absorption of moisture, long-term accumulative load, and fatigue caused by shock and vibration. An estimated rate of damage for fruit during distribution is about from 30 to 40 percent owing to the shock and vibration. This study was carried out to characterize the durability of corrugated fiberboard container for packaging the fruit and vegetables under simulated transportation environment. The vibration test system was constructed to simulate the land transportation using truck. After the package with corrugated fiberboard container was vibrated by vibration test system at various experimental conditions, the compression test for the package was performed. The compression strength of corrugated fiberboard container decreased with loading weight and vibrating time. The multiple nonlinear regression equation for predicting the decreasing rate of compression strength of corrugated fiberboard containers were developed using four independent variables such as input acceleration level, input frequency, loading weight and vibrating time. The influence of loading weight on the decreasing rate of corrugated fiberboard container was larger than other variables.

레이저 적층 마레이징강의 기계적 특성 및 피로 특성 (Fatigue and mechanical properties of laser deposited maraging steel)

  • Metal 3D printing is very useful for making the injection molds containing complex conformal cooling channels. The most important issue of the 3D printed molds is cost and life cycle. However, powder bed fusion (PBF) methods are vulnerable to fatigue loading because of the presence of pores and rough surfaces. In the present study, the fatigue test was performed to obtain fatigue analysis input data for predicting the durability of a 3D printed injection mold core. The metal 3D printer used to manufacture the specimen was OPM250L from Sodick, and the metal powder material was maraging steel. The ultrasonic fatigue testing method was adopted for the fatigue test. A key advantage of the ultrasonic fatigue method is that $10^8{\sim}10^9$ long cycle test data or more could be obtained within a relatively short period. Based on the results of the experiment, the effect of heat treatment was negligible. However, there was an apparent difference in durability depending on the presence or absence of the surface treatment.
