A new logistics concept is needed through the sharing information between suppliers and consumers, which maximizes the customers service and its flexibility by changing functional- oriented to process-oriented. As in many other industries, communication and data manipulation technology have led to systematical change to the logistics industry. One of the biggest changes of the industry that lies ahead is Consolidated Transportation. To improve this systematically false logistical environment, developing an integrated logistics information system with consolidated transportation, framework, standardization, and data integration is essential. However, no party outstands as the leading party for nationwide improvement of logistics, nor does the right analysis and design for it. Therefore, successful nationwide logistics model is yet to exist. This paper provides individual parties, which consider efficient consolidated transportation as their business models, with instructions for logistics information system so that they could be competitive in the market. It also helps companies collect user requirements for efficient consolidated transportation, and utilize it for its development. Finally, this paper extracts the design of algorithm for the efficient consolidated transportation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to suggest a key quality factor affecting user satisfaction based on quality attribute of weather information system and additionally, a managerial implication for activating weather information service market by analyzing causal relevance between weather information system and business performance. Methods: As its method, a causal relevance of quality factor of weather information system affecting satisfaction and business performance was analyzed by using structural equation model. An enterprise utilized in analysis sample performed a survey by targeting 186 distribution/logistics and general manufacturing company. Results: It was revealed that information, service quality of weather information system exerted a significant influence on user satisfaction and it did not take a significant influence on business performance in terms of quality of information, system and service. A significant relevance between user satisfaction and business performance was strong supported. Finally, it was revealed that utilization level of weather information system had a moderating effect on business performance. Conclusion: Domestic weather information system mainly focused on information utilization based weather information system and additional service level utilizing weather information is very low in practical terms. Therefore, in order to expand domestic weather related service market, systematic market expansion strategy of providing corporate customized service and case enlargement would be required.

Purpose - The purpose of paper is to examine into corporate value of international physical distribution, which is closely related with company that is running business based on competitive power. It is good for company to gain a competitiveness throughout activities from international physical distribution, then it increases corporate value after all. Then it will be looked at how international physical distribution can influence competitiveness of company in terms of corporate value. Research design, data, and methodology - The research method to be described is first to identify concept of international physical distribution theoretically, including characteristics and structure, and then to review corporate value of international physical distribution to make company be competitive. As far as general landscape of international logistics is concerned, it is investigated into function and role of service provider, user and market situations. However, it is well proved that current market of international physical distribution is stable and bright, which means it is possible to take foreseeable future as well. Then company can share with corporate value of international physical distribution provided from logistics service provider. Results - To achieve corporate value throughout process of international physical distribution is strongly connected with competitive status of logistics service providers, those are carriers and infrastructures, and third party logistics providers. Especially in order to inquire into competitive aspects of international physical distribution in this paper, it is focused on trade volumes and overcapacity of global shipping market. Unlike it is used to be, more optimistic and positive situation has been shown since 5 years ago from the year of 2018, which means carriers make a business well, leading company to be more competitive. Conclusions - Corporate value of company in terms of international physical distribution is closely involved with competitive situations in the physically distribution, especially shipping market, which service providers can paly a key role in this regards. It can be estimated that the more market of international physical distribution works, the more competitiveness of companies increases. Ocean carriers in shipping market of international physical distribution are doing actively business well, and the corporate value can be materialized in favor of company.

Although the specification of packaging box is one of the most important process to be considered before deciding cost in terms of production and logistics, there are no efficient services in our country at this time as such the making decision only through the empirical knowledge. In this research, we have developed the packaging specification design system based on the web online packaging IT service. The developed system was advanced from the existing-inefficient process of deciding the specification of packaging box, and which can decide the specification of packaging box considering the efficiency of logistics through use of IT based tool. Therefore, this study shows applied cases of normalized packaging process through the obtained packaging design simulation program. The packaging specification design system can provide the simulation and user interface. Those could calculate the specification of packaging box(packaging box size, packaging box quantity, packaging box pattern, packaging compressive strength, packaging cost etc.) considering the efficiency of logistics.

We deal with a resource allocation problem for multimedia service discrimination in wireless networks. We assume that a service provider allocates network resources to users who can choose and access one of the discriminated services. To express the rational service selection of users, the utility function of users is devised to reflect both service quality and cost. Regarding the utility function of a service provider, total profit and efficiency of resource usage have been considered. The proposed service discrimination framework is composed of two game models. An outer model is a repeated Stackelberg game between a service provider and a user group, while an inner model is a service selection game among users, which is solved by adopting the Kalai-Smorodinsky bargaining solution. Through simulation experiments, we compare the proposed framework with existing resource allocation methods according to user cost sensitivity. The proposed framework performed better than existing frameworks in terms of total profit and fairness.

택배물류는 택배화물을 택배서비스 요청자가 요구하는 장소까지 직접 배달해 주는 것으로, 택배 기업별로 화물 분류 방식, 업무방식, 그리고 관리하는 정보가 서로 다르고, 비정형 데이터로 인해 상호 호환성을 지원할 수 없다. 종이 운송장 사용으로 개인정보 유출에 대한 문제와 오류 정보로 인해 정확히 화물은 전달하는데 추가적인 시간과 물류비용이 발생되기도 한다. 택배 비즈니스 환경은 무인택배, 신기술(사물인터넷 등)이 도입되는 등 변화되며, 사용자들은 택배 운송 신청부터 수취까지의 과정에 대한 현황 및 상태를 알고 싶어 한다. 그러므로 택배화물 안전 배송을 위한 단일화되고 통합된 운송장 정보가 필요하며, 택배화물 집하/운송/인도 등의 단계에서 적합한 정보를 관련 주체 간에 원활히 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 택배화물 운송서비스 신청, 집하, 운송, 분류, 인도 등의 단계별 정보를 수집, 가공, 처리한 정보를 비즈니스 처리, 비즈니스 협업, 비즈니스 트랜잭션 간에 발생하는 업무 흐름에 대한 정보로 명시하고 이 정보를 근간으로 택배화물용 전자 운송장을 위한 표준 프로세스와 정보 모델을 정의하였다. 정의된 표준 모델을 통해 택배물류 주체 간 정보 유통 및 공유가 용이할 것이며, 종이 운송장으로 인한 위험이 감소됨으로 인해 국민생활 안전을 증진할 수 있게 될 것이다. 더 나아가 택배업체의 업무 효율성이 증대되는 등 다양한 이해당사자 관점에서 국민 편익을 도모할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

해상운송화물이 꾸준하게 증가하면서 화물을 처리하는 터미널에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. 그러나 터미널과 관련된 대부분의 국내연구는 컨테이너터미널에 국한되어 있다. 본 연구는 벌크터미널의 서비스품질 관점에서 수행하였다. 벌크터미널 서비스 이용자를 크게 선사와 화주로 구분하여 제공받는 서비스에 대한 차이를 비교분석하였다. 또한 본 연구에서 제안한 속성 가운데 유형성은 선석 수나 수심, 장비 등의 변수들이 반영되어 설명되기 때문에 형성지표로 분석하는 것이 적합하다고 판단하였다. 따라서 일반적인 구조방정식모델에서 활용되는 반영적 측정모델뿐만 아니라 형성적 측정모델을 결합한 분석을 시도하였다. 전체 측정모델의 분석결과 공감성과 성과 만족도 간의 관계를 제외한 모든 항목이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이용주체별 차이 분석 결과는 화주가 선주보다 신뢰 반응성이 만족 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 더 중요하게 평가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 벌크터미널의 경쟁력 확대를 위한 전략적 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

It has been recognized as an important issue to design optimally a firm's logistics network for minimizing logistics cost and maximizing customer service. It is, however, not easy to get an optimal solution by analyzing trade-off of cost factors, dynamic and interdependent characteristics in the logistics network decision making. Although there has been some developments in a system which helps decision making for logistics analysis, it is true that there is no system for enterprise-wise's on-site support and methodical logistics decision. Specially, E-biz process along with information technology has been made dramatic advance in a various industries, there has been much need for practical education closely resembles on-site work. The software developed by this study materializes efficient algorithm suggested by recent studies in key topics of logistics such as location and allocation problem, traveling salesman problem, and vehicle routing problem and transportation and distribution problem. It also supports executing a variety of experimental design and analysis in a way of the most user friendly based on Java. In the near future, we expect that it can be extended to integrated supply chain solution by adding decision making in production in addition to a decision in logistics.

The recent development of modern weapon system by SOS (System of System) has required users to have more exact decision making. It is possible to achieve the control of complex weapon system more efficiently and effectively by increasing usability. Accordingly, many studies on graphical display have been conducted for several years in the field of HCI (Human Computer Interaction) and GUI (Graphic User Interface), starting from its design stage. Therefore, this paper focuses on evaluating the system GUI usability and analyzing several important points based on performance model, which is a tool for the evaluation and the improvement of service quality. Performance Model, the main focus of this study, reflects user expectations (which is defined as user importance in this paper). The study consists of four steps. First, 34 checklists are drawn from the existing studies related to GUI usability evaluation by using a heuristic method, and then the checklists are matched with 11 weapon system design factors. Next, the study evaluates the importance of GUI element and the usability of weapon system "A" with the checklists twice respectively. Third, the performance of user importance ($P_i$) and the performance of usability ($P_u$) are calculated by modifying a numerical formula for normalization in this step. Finally, the study compares the approach it takes and the existing usability evaluation method, demonstrating that there is a significant difference between the two methods as a result. In addition, 4 improvement factors are suggested for weapon system "A" as "Shortcut" and "Description of Abbreviation," and so on. Although it is necessary to conduct more studies for higher reliability and validity of the results, this study is meaningful considering it takes a new point of view.

Korean government, port and logistics companies have given a lot of their efforts to exchange electronic documents between themselves and their partners. As the results of them, Korean EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) standards were made by Korean EDIFACT committee and the standards have been used by companies and governmental organizations in Korea. However, Korean port and logistics EDI system is based on YAN(Value Added Network) and one VAN company has monopolistic right to relay EDI documents to Korean HOMAF(Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries) and Customs Service. Therefore it leads to a lot of problems such as inconvenient software, expensive transmission fee, insufficient improvement of business process and the difficulty of connection with the in-house systems of user companies. For solving these problems, this study is aimed to progress for XML and XML-based electronic commerce framework. This paper shows a optimal XML/EDl method using XML/EDl, BizTalk Framework, ebXML Framework. Fer improving extant problems in port and logistics industry, this paper proposed XML/EDl system based on system architectural level, support technical level, business infrastructure level.
