우리나라 제3자 물류업의 문제점과 활성화방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on way of activation and problem of the Third Party Logistics Providers in domestic country.)

  • The third party logistics(3PL) is given a definition as logistics activities providing a comprehensive logistics services, all or partly outsourced by the customer on long-term contract basis, ranging from making logistics strategies to implement information technology services. The growth of the Third Party Logistics (TPL) business has been caused many firms to penetrate into the field from different industries. In this study, it is presented to describe a definition and development process of the third party logistics and shown to present strategic issues comparing to third party logistics in foreign and domestic area. and apply to some issues of importance when managing the continued TPL business strategy in domestic area.

중국 환발해만 항만시설의 경쟁력 분석 (An analysis on the competitiveness for port facilities in Chinese major ports)

  • It is widely acknowledged that Chinese economy becomes a center of world economy and takes up a considerable portion of the trade in Northeastern Asia. Due to the investment and the logistics modernization strategy of Chinese government, recognizing the importance of logistics, the competitiveness of Chinese major ports is tending upward rapidly. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the competitiveness of Chinese major ports in order to develop the logistics strategy of Korea by cooperating or competing with Chinese ports. In this study, we analyzed the competitiveness of 10 major Chinese ports with Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA). Through the analysis, we could investigate the efficiency of 10 major Chinese ports and figure out the trend of the efficiency within recent 10 years. In order for Korea to achieve the national strategic goal, becoming a logistics hub in East Asia, it is obvious to understand the competitiveness of Chinese major ports which are major competitor and strategic partner at the same time. This study will be useful to understand the competitiveness of Chinese ports and to develop a logistics hub strategy of Korea.

국내 해운기업의 물류통합 전략에 대한 연구 (A Study on Logistics Integration Strategies of Korean Shipping Companies)

  • After the COVID-19 pandemic, a global economic downturn and a recession in the shipping market are expected, it is important for domestic shipping companies to establish appropriate strategy in response to the recession. Accordingly, domestic shipping companies should grow into integrated logistics companies that combine shipping and logistics in the future. And for this purpose, it is necessary to actively promote logistics integration with external shipping and logistics companies. This paper presents the direction of logistics integration for domestic shipping companies to develop as integrated logistics operators with competitiveness in the global shipping market, and presents detailed alternatives. Domestic shipping companies lack the infrastructure such as ships, port terminals, and warehouses, so they have a weak capacity to independently promote logistics integration. At the shipping company level, a logistics integration promotion strategy should be established, and accordingly, logistics infrastructure, service network, and logistics integration operating system should be established. The government should provide tax benefits for logistics integration, financial support for M&As led by domestic shipping companies, a standardized information sharing system, and preparation of educational courses for nurturing digital manpower.

우리나라의 동북아 물류거점화전략과 관세자유지역제도의 발전방향 (A study on Korean Free Zone and it's growing strategy)

  • The objective of the study is to propose to the strategy to make korean main ports to international logistics center in Northeast Asia. so this study's construction is constructed four steps. First, analysis the environment of economy, business and logistics industry in Northeast Asia. Second, analysis the constructions and characters of Free Zone Act. Third, analysis of Korean Government's policy about Free Zone. Forth, propose the growing strategy of Free Zone. In 1999 Northeast Asia was adopted in Korea, which will facilitate the process and strengthen the international logistics capability as a international logistics hub in Northeast Asia. But only adoption in the point of law is not enough to growing korean main seaport and airport to a international logistics hub. so various strategies are needed. In this study, we propose the growing strategies that are to establish and manage the free zone of ports and its hinterland are: the establishment of a long-term vision of international logistics complexes, the improvement of the proximity to markets/customers by way of linkage of global networks, the activation of the industrial complex in hinterland, the development of the skilled labor and the labor climate, the cooperation between governmental bodies and government/provincial bodies, continuous development of logistics infrastructure and so on.

Imitation Strategy를 이용한 국내 물류기업의 해외진출 전략에 관한 연구 (Study on Strategies for Overseas Expansion of Domestic Logistics Company Using by Imitation Strategy)

  • 세계경제의 블록화가 진행됨에 따라 기업의 글로벌화가 증가하게 되고 이로 인한 기업의 해외시장으로의 진출은 가속화되고 있다. 또한 국제 분업화가 촉진되어 글로벌 물류서비스에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 물류시장이 해마다 성장하고 있다. 특히 기존의 화주기업들은 자사내 물류관리를 물류전문기업인 3PL 업체에 아웃소싱하여 물류관리 효율성 증대, 국제 경쟁력 강화를 도모하고 있다. 실제로 포춘(Fortune)지 선정 500대 기업의 70% 정도가 물류 분야를 아웃소싱하고 있으며, 이러한 추세는 향후에 더욱 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 물류 환경변화에 대응하기 위해 글로벌 물류기업들은 물류기업간 M&A, 전략적 제휴 등을 통해 글로벌 물류네트워크를 구축하여 제조업체들의 다양한 물류서비스 요구에 대응하고 있다. 그러나 국내 물류기업은 글로벌 물류기업과 비교해 볼 때 규모, 서비스 범위, 네트워크 등 전반적으로 크게 뒤져있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 글로벌 물류기업 가운데 대상기업을 선정하여 물류기업의 현황 및 성장전략을 분석하였다. 또한 국내 물류기업의 효과적인 해외시장 진출을 위해 Imitation Strategy를 이용한 해외시장 진출 전략을 수립하였다. 그 결과로는 첫째, 우리나라가 강점을 보유한 정기선사, 정기 항공사 등의 부문에서 발전 모델을 모방하여 확대 적용하여야 한다. 둘째, 모방기업은 DHL과 Agility이며, 모방대상은 글로벌물류기업 가운데 세계화, 전문화, 독점화, 공공화, 동반화, 현지화에 강점을 지닌 기업의 사례분석을 통해 이 부문의 경쟁력을 강화시켜야 한다. 셋째, 모방시점에 있어서 국내 물류기업은 기존시장에 있어서는 후발주자 전략으로, 신흥시장은 개척자 전략으로 대응해 나가야 한다. 넷째, 국내 물류기업은 기존 물류서비스와 충돌하지 않도록 물류서비스 영역을 확보해 나가야 하고 글로벌 물류기업의 틈새시장을 잘 활용해야 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 동북아 지역에서 협력과 공존을 위한 부가가치 물류 전략방안들을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 국내산업구조의 변화와 일본슈퍼중추항만계획 및 중국의 대수심 양산항만의 건설 등으로 인해 국내 항만물류산업은 이들과의 경쟁을 피할 수 없게 되었다. 국내산업 구조의 변화로 수출물량의 감소와 양국의 새로운 항만정책과 건설로 인한 환적화물의 감소는 현재 컨테이너 물동량 처리 위주로 운영되고 있는 부산항 항만물류산업에 커다란 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다. 이제는 컨테이너 물동량 처리를 통하여 항만의 수익을 얻으려는 것에는 한계가 있으며, 향후 중국의 신항만 증가에 따라 중국으로 직기항하는 선박들이 많아질 경우 동북아 거점항만이 되기 위해 노력했던 국내 물류전략들은 수정이 불가피할 것이다. 그리고 경쟁이 아니 상호 협력과 공존을 위한 전략이 필요하다고 하겠다. 그래서 본 논문은 협력과 공존을 통해 서로가 공생할 수 있는 부가가치 물류 전략방안들을 연구해 보았다.
