As the importance of logistics is increasing, Enterprises design the supply chain(SC) network to minimize the total costs considering inventory holding cost, transportation cost and apply the efficient strategies of supply chain based on SC network Calculating the logistics costs without reflecting the logistics components like the packaging cost, transportation related cost, storage cost, loading & unloading cost, and distribution costs, the companies should have many limitation to calculate the logistics cost of real enterprise and install the SC network reducing them. Therefore, this research is aimed at establishing SC strategies which can be an efficient alternative for a decision making on supply chain, based on existing reference and current logistics networks of 'L' company in Korea and analyzing interaction effects between strategies and influence on logistics cost by these strategies. As the method of analysis, we analyze the interaction effects between strategies as well as install the optimal SC network reflecting concrete logistics components from the viewpoint of total logistics costs. we expect that analysis method of this paper would be applied various industries and used the efficient tools for the decision mating by planing and execution of the logistics budget from enterprises.

This research attempts to identify growth potential of e-logistics market and opportunities provided by its growth; analyze requirements and critical success factors for logistics industries to make most of such opportunities; and analyze various strategic alternatives for e-logistics industries. Subsequently this paper looks at strategies that may enable logistics companies to grow into competitive e-logistics and e-fulfillment companies. This would involve the close interface between advances in IT and logistics activities and formation of global strategic alliances.

This research was conducted in order to present the strategies of implementing the logistics information system for effective logistics cost management with the case study of a leading global company. The strategy for effective logistics information system can be derived from the 3 different viewpoints, Firstly the effective global logistics management can be insured by means of the efforts of the reinforced total organization. Secondly from the process-oriented perspective, we should recognize the logistics process as the core factor of the competitive strategy and innovate the logistics process itself for the logistics cost reduction. Finally, the logistics cost will be effectively managed through establishing its logistics information strategy which maximizes the utilization of the information technologies. The case study of 'A' electronics company shows that its logistics management system provides the company with various visibilities about its logistics cost and the direct and indirect benefits over billions of wons per year as well. Therefore we can conclude that the research model provided in this research is validated. This study presents the concrete implementation strategies of the logistics information system and verifies the validity of the strategies by means of the case study of a leading company.

Recently, the electronic commerce(EC), driven by the development of Internet, has been one of the most important interests. Physical distribution in EC is one of the most important factors. In a mega competition having no national boundaries, we have to apply the logistics system considering an environment seriously and to construct the environmentally conscious logistics system (ECLS) with the forward and reverse logistics system of a companies. The objectives of this research were to provide strategies required for implementation of the environmentally conscious logistics system. And also, we propose the future research topics needed for improvement of the studies on environmentally conscious logistics system.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the logistics strategies for the improvement Gunsan port's competitiveness. To accomplish the purpose, this paper reviews the concept & function of logistics firstly. Next we find out the main factors of improving port's competitiveness, build the basic model of the logistics strategy and apply the model to the case of Gunsan port. China has experienced repid economic growth since it opened its economic market. Apparently, China tends to follow the worldwide trends and it plans to play a leading role in the world. The purpose of this study is to consolidate the position of Kunsan Port as a Hub-port in Northeast asian region with the development of Kunsan port's hinterland. To accomplish the purpose, this paper firstly reviews the concept and function of port's hinterland literally. Next, We attempt to grasps the trends of port logistics service in this region, and to cope with this trends, study the previous researches of logistics platform(LP). Based upon the study, We find out the main factors of improving efficiency in port logistics, and build the model of logistics strategy with such factors as (1) Environment (2) Marketing (3) Logistics Chain and (4) Logistics community. And in order to applicate the model, we analyze the current situation of Kunsan port and port's hinterland. Finally, we provide the logistics strategies in Kunsan port's hinterland.

As customer needs for eco-friendly transportation services increase, strategies of major global shipping companies are being established to meet them. Even if logistics costs increase, more and more shippers are choosing shipping companies that fulfill their social responsibilities through decarbonization, and against this backdrop, global shipping companies want to strengthen corporate social responsiveness and reduce shipping environmental costs. In the post-corona era after COVID-19, it is necessary to review the latest Green Shipping management strategies of shipping companies emerging as a new normal for the shipping and logistics industries. This study aims to explore trends in the latest Green Shipping management strategies of global shipping companies pursuing environmental load suppression in the shipping and logistics fields. Among the previous studies, some studies analyzed the green shipping policies of major shipping countries, but they did not deal with the latest policies over time, and few previous study has conducted a fact-finding analysis on the latest Green Shipping management strategies of major shipping companies at the corporate level. This study attempted to analyze securities reports by major domestic and international shipping companies and to present the latest Green Shipping management strategies by shipping companies.
