문제 중심 학습을 적용한 스크래치 프로그래밍 교수 학습 모형 (A Problem Based Teaching and Learning Model for Scratch Programming Education)

  • 스크래치는 교육용 프로그래밍 언어 중 하나로 풍부한 멀티미디어 프로그래밍 환경과 쉽고 흥미로운 사용자 인터페이스를 제공한다. 또한 한국어를 지원하고 있어 초 중등학교 학습자들의 프로그래밍 교육에 유용하게 활용되고 있다. 그러나 프로그래밍 과정은 복잡한 문제해결과정으로 논리적 사고 및 추상적 사고와 같은 고차원적인 인지 능력을 요구하기 때문에 여전히 어린 학습자들에게 인지적 부담을 유발할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 프로그래밍 학습에 관한 학습자의 흥미와 내적 동기를 유발하고 교육용 프로그래밍 언어인 스크래치 활용의 효과를 최대화하기 위한 교수 학습 방법으로 문제 중심 스크래치 프로그래밍 교수 학습 모형을 개발하였다. 해당 모형은 기존 문제 중심 학습을 기반으로 프로그래밍 활동에서 다루어지는 문제와 문제해결의 특성을 반영하고, 초등학교 학습자라는 학습자 특성을 반영하였다. 개발한 프로그램을 실제 초등학교 5학년 학습자들에게 적용한 결과, 해당 모형을 적용한 집단이 일반적인 스크래치 프로그래밍 교수 학습을 진행한 집단에 비해 논리적 사고력 및 문제해결력이 유의하게 높게 나타났다.

3차원 심실모델을 이용한 심장의 탈분극 시뮬레이션 (Simulation of the cardiac depolarization based on three dimensional ventricular model.)

  • The cardiac depolarization model using three dimensional ventricular model is simulated. To study this theme, we constructed a cardiac ventricular model and simulated the cardiac activation process using the action potential duration and the activation time. The cardiac potential model is generated by the logical combination of the elliptic equations. The action potential duration could be obtained from the fact that it is linearly distributed between model cells. The cardiac activation process was simulated by the law of "all-or-none". Based on the activation time and the action potential duration the cardiac potential at the arbitrary time after the activation of the model cell was computed. To test the validity of model, the comparison the results of model simulation with the physiological data was performed.

2009 개정교육과정과 2015 개정교육과정의 화학 I 및 화학 II 교과서에서 산·염기 모델의 준미시적 표상에 대한 문제점 분석 (Analysis of Problems in the Submicro Representations of Acid·Base Models in Chemistry I and II Textbooks of the 2009 & 2015 Revised Curricula)

  • 이 연구에서는 2009 개정교육과정의 화학I 교과서 4종과 화학II 교과서 4종, 2015 개정교육과정의 화학I 교과서 9종과 화학II 6종의 교과서에 제시된 산·염기 모델에 관련된 표상을 분석하였다. 교과서에 제시된 표상의 문제점은 정의 표현의 문제와 논리사고 표현의 문제로 구분하였다. 연구 결과, 화학평형의 개념이 없어서 2009 개정교육과정의 화학I 교과서에서는 브뢴스테드-로우리 산·염기 정의에서 가역반응의 표상에 문제가 있었지만, 이러한 문제는 화학평형 개념이 포함된 2015 개정교육과정의 화학I 교과서에서도 지속되는 것으로 나타났다. 논리사고 표현은 입자 종류 보존논리, 조합논리, 입자 수 보존논리, 비례논리 등이 있다. 2009 개정교육과정 화학I 교과서에서는 논리사고와 관련된 표상의 문제가 적었지만, 2015 개정교육과정의 교과서에서는 논리사고와 관련된 표상의 문제가 많이 발견되었다. 따라서 교육과정이 개정되면서 산·염기 모델에 관련된 교과서의 표상들이 학생들의 이해에 도움을 줄 수 있는 방향으로 변화될 필요가 있다.

  • The cardiac activation process using three dimensional ventricular model is simulated.To study this theme, we constructed a cardiac ventricular model and simulated the cardiac activation process using the action potential duration and the activation time. A Study on Design and Implementation of a Programming Teaching Model Using Emotional Intelligence

  • In this paper, we design a programming education model that uses emotional intelligence and apply the model to programming education in elementary school. In our previous work, we found that there is a meaningful correlation between emotional intelligence and programming ability. In this paper, as a follow-up study, we design a programming education model based on a storytelling model and emotional intelligence. In order to test the performance of the proposed model, we applied our proposed model to the 5th grade elementary school students who have no programming experience. Based on extensive survey work and statistical analysis, we found that the experimental group by the programming education using the emotional intelligence got a statistically significant higher achievement than the comparative group by the traditional programming education. We hope that our model will be helpful in programming education in schools.

자극기반 의사결정과정에서 태도와 태도강도의 역할에 관한 실증연구 (An empirical study on the roles of attitudes and attitude strength in stimulus-based decision-making)

  • 본 연구는 Priester 등 (2004)에 의해서 제시된 기억기반 선택상황에서 태도-의사결정 통합모형인 '고려상표군과 선택에 대한 태도 및 태도강도의 영향모형'을 자극기반 선택상황으로 확장하였다. 즉 태도 및 태도강도가 고려상표군과 선택변수에 대한 역할 (모형 타당성측면)과 외부자극 요소인 제품 디스플레이 위치에 따른 물리적 현저성 강도의 역할 (모형 일반화측면)을 통해 모형의 확장가능성을 검토하였다. 본 연구는 기존 연구와 같이 태도 그 자체를 측정하여 행동이나 행동의도를 파악하는 대신에 '행동에 대한 태도'를 직접 측정할 수 있는 실험조사 방법을 토대로 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 기억기반에서 태도-의사결정간의 관련성에 대한 통합모형으로 제시된 모형의 특성들을 자극기반 상황에서 이론적 배경과 실증분석을 통해 모형타당성을 확인하여 모형의 일반화 가능성을 보여주었다.

Classes in Object-Oriented Modeling (UML): Further Understanding and Abstraction

  • Object orientation has become the predominant paradigm for conceptual modeling (e.g., UML), where the notions of class and object form the primitive building blocks of thought. Classes act as templates for objects that have attributes and methods (actions). The modeled systems are not even necessarily software systems: They can be human and artificial systems of many different kinds (e.g., teaching and learning systems). The UML class diagram is described as a central component of model-driven software development. It is the most common diagram in object-oriented models and used to model the static design view of a system. Objects both carry data and execute actions. According to some authorities in modeling, a certain degree of difficulty exists in understanding the semantics of these notions in UML class diagrams. Some researchers claim class diagrams have limited use for conceptual analysis and that they are best used for logical design. Performing conceptual analysis should not concern the ways facts are grouped into structures. Whether a fact will end up in the design as an attribute is not a conceptual issue. UML leads to drilling down into physical design details (e.g., private/public attributes, encapsulated operations, and navigating direction of an association). This paper is a venture to further the understanding of object-orientated concepts as exemplified in UML with the aim of developing a broad comprehension of conceptual modeling fundamentals. Thinging machine (TM) modeling is a new modeling language employed in such an undertaking. TM modeling interlaces structure (components) and actionality where actions infiltrate the attributes as much as the classes. Although space limitations affect some aspects of the class diagram, the concluding assessment of this study reveals the class description is a kind of shorthand for a richer sematic TM construct.

UML의 "4+1" 뷰를 이용한 지식 관리 시스템의 개념적 모델 (A Conceptual Model of Knowledge Management System by using "4+1" views of UML)

  • Over the past several decades, several architectural approaches have been applied to develop Information Systems, The software architectural model has been recognized as one of the most important methods for improving productivity. Most conceptual models are difficult to understand and interpret at various system models. As a consequence, conceptual models of many Information Systems fail to represent, exploit, and apply to various aspects, which is needed for reducing development step of the architecture. In this paper, we will explain the architectural model as the 4+1 View of UML. This model integrates the Knowledge Management System into five views: the Logical View, the Process View, the Deployment View, Implementation View, and the Use-Case View. Moreover, this paper will not only provide information on the application of the software architectural model by stakeholders, but also ultimately improve productivity.

복식미학 연구를 위한 방법론 제안 - 복식 비평 모델을 중심으로 - (Methodological Approaches to Aesthetic Research on Dress - Focused on a Model for Dress Criticism -)

  • A criticism model for dress was developed to offer a methodological insight into research on aesthetics of dress. Concepts from Edmund B. Feldman's art criticism model, James D. Carney's style-relative model of art criticism, and Sung Bok Kim's fashion criticism model were borrowed and integrated to create a criticism model for dress, comprising identification of styles, descriptive features, aesthetic value features, external interpretation, socio-cultural interpretation, and evaluation. Both inductive and deductive approaches for the identification of styles can be made in the process of dress criticism. In the former case, descriptive features and aesthetic features are sequentially identified to locate the styles of dress. In the latter case, styles are identified first, and descriptive features and aesthetic features are identified accordingly. Logical criticisms can be made based on the critics' background knowledge of the history of dress and art.

Survey on the virtual commissioning of manufacturing systems

  • This paper reviews and identifies issues in the application of virtual commissioning technology for automated manufacturing systems. While the real commissioning of a manufacturing system involves a real plant system and a real controller, the virtual commissioning deals with a virtual plant model and a real controller. The expected benefits of virtual commissioning are the reduction of debugging and correction efforts during the subsequent real commissioning stage. However, it requires a virtual plant model and hence still requires significant amount time and efforts. Two main issues are identified, the physical model construction of a virtual device, and the logical model construction of a virtual device. This paper reviews the current literature related to the two issues and proposes future research directions to achieve the full utilization of virtual commissioning technology.
