수학적 사고의 입장에서 중등학생들이 수학적 문제해결에 논리적 사고와 직관적 사고가 어떻게 작용하는지를 연구하는 것은 수학교육에서 중요하고도 흥미로운 과제의 하나이다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 중등학교 영재학생을 대상으로 이러한 문제를 조사하는 것이다. 특히 이들 중등영재학생들의 논리적 사고와 직관적 사고에 대한 선호도와 논리적 문제의 문제해결능력 사이의 관계를 조사한다.

The diagrammatic language for pathways is widely used for representing systems knowledge as a network of causal relations. Biologists infer and hypothesize with pathways to design experiments and verify models, and to identify potential drug targets. Although there have been many approaches to formalize pathways to simulate a system, reasoning with incomplete and high level knowledge has not been possible. We present a qualitative formalization of a pathway language with incomplete causal descriptions and its translation into propositional temporal logic to automate the reasoning process. Such automation accelerates the identification of drug targets in pathways.

Virtual Manufacturing System(VMS) is a computer model that represents the precise and whole structure of manufacturing systems and simulates their physical and logical behavior in operation. In this paper, a real time simulation for the virtual factory is proposed to integrate a process planning with scheduling under distributed environments. In order to communicate the information under distributed environments, we use a server/client concept using socket program and internet.

The purpose of this study is to establish the function of a sub-system for System Alternatives Feasibility Estimation (SAFE) in R & D Project Planning Phase (RDPPL). It is the fundamental function of the RDPPL/SAFE that selected an optimal planning system alternative of all, considered at RDPPL/SAS, by logical means in view of feasibility. In this paper, improving the function of RDPPL/SAFE, mathmatical models in order to quantify methods determining and integrating the feasibility funtion in each terminal system with a multi-stage process are examined.

In FH-SS systems when the bopping band is enough wide to onerlap with conventional band limited communication cethod (CBM). The portion of suchacts as an interfering signal. Thus it is gard to use them all together. This paper presents how the frequency gopping systems can simultaneously share the same band with CBM. The proposed mithod is that the frequency gopping band can arbitraily controlled by setting the specific input bith of digital frequency synthesizer to logical zero state We realized this by putting the hopping band Controller between pseudeo random generater and frequency synthesizer.

In spite of the presence of various kind of Integrated Circuits it's not always easy to get the right part. Besides, it is hard to find a vendor for a small quantity consumers like who develop prototype applications. In this study, we've tried to get the logical signals from the PC based device we've developed that correspondents with the real ICs. It can emulate decoder ICs, multiplexers, demultiplexers and basic logic gates.

Information should be properly shared and clearly recognized by not only the individuals within an enterprise but also the partners and the customers. Physical and logical collaboration between the application systems, therefore, became important, and building such collaborative function in an information system has been one of the major issues of the solution providers. In this paper we first interpret the term collaboration from the information system perspective. Then we discuss the collaboration system in two aspects; system integration and user interface.

Sometimes a researcher with a view of conventional significance testing rejects his/her hypothesis, even through it could have not been rejected with a smaller sample. This can be a logical dilemma for a researcher who wants to "prove" a hypothesis rather than to show discrepancy from a null hypothesis. In this study, a new testing paradigm called equivalence testing via confidence interval will be developed so that it is suitable for the purpose of statistical proof.cal proof.

정보화사회에서 효율적인 정보검색(information retrieval)은 각종 의사결정에 매우 중요하다. 주어진 정보검색 문제가 있을 때 과거에 검색되었던 자료는 그 적절성 여부에 대한 평가를 데이터베이스에 첨가하여 지식베이스(knowledge base)화 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이 지식베이스에 대한 논리적 패턴을 분석하여 새로운 정보의 '적정성(relevance)' 여부를 판별하는 확률화 정보검색 모형을 만들고 이에 대한 실험을 하였다.
