고속철도에 있어서 접근도의 중요성 분석에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of the Importance of Accessibility for High Speed Railway : Stated-Preference Approach)

  • The introduction of high speed railway system a significant impact on the conventional inter-urban transport systems by inducing a significant traffic from the existing modes as well as generating a new traffic. It is also closely related to intra-urban transport systems as the inter-urban traffic has its origin and destination in a city. In the context of mode choice, for high speed transport systems, it has been argued that the accessibility is the most important attribute conceived by users. Thus this study attempts to analysis the importance of the accessibility for the planned high speed railway systems particularly with respect to the location of Busan Station. For this Stated-Preference approach, which is considered appropriate for such study, is adopted, and disaggregate binary logit models for mode choice between the high speed railway and air service in Busan-Seoul corridor are developed. The elasticities for cost and service variables are also derived. The results disclose that cost is the most important which is inconsistent with most previous studies ; accessibility has considerable impact on the choice ; and frequency however has a little impacts. Concerning location of the high speed railway station the results suggest that the longer the access distance is, the more important the accessibility is. This implies that the connection of reliable access transport services such as underground are essential between the terminal and urban center.

TCA: A Trusted Collaborative Anonymity Construction Scheme for Location Privacy Protection in VANETs

  • As location-based services (LBS) are widely used in vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs), location privacy has become an utmost concern. Spatial cloaking is a popular location privacy protection approach, which uses a cloaking area containing k-1 collaborative vehicles (CVs) to replace the real location of the requested vehicle (RV). However, all CVs are assumed as honest in k-anonymity, and thus giving opportunities for dishonest CVs to submit false location information during the cloaking area construction. Attackers could exploit dishonest CVs' false location information to speculate the real location of RV. To suppress this threat, an edge-assisted Trusted Collaborative Anonymity construction scheme called TCA is proposed with trust mechanism. From the design idea of trusted observations within variable radius r, the trust value is not only utilized to select honest CVs to construct a cloaking area by restricting r's search range but also used to verify false location information from dishonest CVs. In order to obtain the variable radius r of searching CVs, a multiple linear regression model is established based on the privacy level and service quality of RV. By using the above approaches, the trust relationship among vehicles can be predicted, and the most suitable CVs can be selected according to RV's preference, so as to construct the trusted cloaking area. Moreover, to deal with the massive trust value calculation brought by large quantities of LBS requests, edge computing is employed during the trust evaluation. The performance analysis indicates that the malicious response of TCA is only 22% of the collaborative anonymity construction scheme without trust mechanism, and the location privacy leakage is about 32% of the traditional Enhanced Location Privacy Preserving (ELPP) scheme.

어류양식장의 입지선택을 위한 계층분석과정(AHP)모형 (AHP Model for Selecting a Fish Farm Site)

  • There have not been many studies which considered both quantitative and qualitative location factors on the issues of site selection problems for a fish farm. This study develops AHP(analytic hierarchy process) model to resolve site selection problem for a fish raising farm by using quantitative and qualitative factors. In order to evaluate the validity of the location factors found in the literature review, the study used advice from fish raising farmers and related academic experts. Four major factors have been selected as economic factors, social factors, natural environmental factors and infrastructures. An AHP structural diagram has developed by considering the factors and potential sites proposed for fish farming. Through the survey on the preference of factors and potential sites, pairwise comparison matrices have been estimated and used to calculated the relative weights of each potential site. The AHP model process shown in the study can be applied to resolve site selection problems for fish raising farmers.

LBSNS 기반 장소 추천 시스템 (Location Recommendation System based on LBSNS)

  • 위치 기반 소셜 네트워크 서비스에서 사용자들은 체크인 데이터를 이용해 장소를 공유하고 커뮤니케이션을 한다. 체크인 데이터는 POI명, 카테고리, 장소 좌표/주소, 사용자 닉네임, 장소 평가 점수, 관련 글/사진/동영상 등으로 구성된다. 위치 기반 소셜 네트워크 서비스에서 이러한 체크인 데이터를 상황에 맞게 분석하면 다양한 맞춤형 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 사용자 체크인 데이터를 활용할 수 있는 LBSNS(Location-based Social Network Service) 기반 장소 추천 시스템을 개발하였다. LBSNS 기반 장소 추천 시스템은 체크인 데이터 중 장소 카테고리를 분석하여 가중치를 추출하고, 피어슨 상관계수를 이용해 사용자간의 유사도를 구한다. 그리고 협업적 필터링 알고리즘을 이용하여 추천 장소에 대한 선호도 점수를 구하고, 추천 대상 장소의 위치와 사용자의 현재 위치에 대해 유클라디안 알고리즘을 적용하여 거리 점수를 구한다. 마지막으로, 선호도 점수와 거리 점수에 대해 가중치 계수를 적용하여 상황에 맞게 장소를 추천한다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 실제 데이터를 이용한 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 제시한 시스템의 우수성도 입증하였다.

아파트 로열층에 대한 선호도 변화 및 인식 특성에 대한 연구 - 서울 잠실재건축단지 거주자 및 부동산중개업자 설문조사를 중심으로 - (Resident Preference Trends and Perceptions Regarding Royal Floors in High-rise Housing - Questionnaire Survey from Residents and Realtors of One through Four of the Jamshil Redeveloped Apartment Complexes -)

  • Although the term royal floors is broadly used in high-rise housing, it is hard to find any clear scholarly definition of this term or any in-depth study exploring people's perceptions of it. This study reviewed ongoing discussions about concepts and definitions regarding royal floors, collected opinions from high-rise housing residents and realtors about the term, and compared the opinions of these two groups. First, the statistically analyzed results verified five main factors affecting people's perceptions of royal floors: locational characteristics (i.e., daylight, view, orientation), 2) price characteristics (i.e., premium, price increase level, number of houses on urgent sale), 3) best location of apartment building (i.e., location within a neighborhood, unit size), 4) architectural characteristics of apartment complex (i.e., size of complex, housing type, size options of units), and 5) personal characteristics of respondents (i.e., personal concepts of the meaning of housing, lifestyles). Results from the analysis showed that realtors perceived strong relationships between royal floors and 1) locational and 2) price characteristic factors, while residents perceived strong relationships between royal floors and personal preference as well as three factors from the five identified above: 1) locational, 2) price, and 4) architectural characteristics. Third, in defining royal floors in a building, the past rule of 1/4 is no longer effective. Instead, the rule of 1/n has become more prevalent (i.e., 1/6 to 1/8). Fourth, royal floors can be defined as the 15th to 25th floors in a 30-story high-rise housing structure based on the agreement of 50% of residents and 70% of realtors.

The Effects of Sign Language Video Location in e-Learning System for the Hearing-impaired

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of sign language video location in e-learning system for the hearing-impaired. Background: E-learning education is a good way to resolve the inequality of education for the disabled. Providing a sign language video in e-learning education for the hearing-impaired is very important for their learning. Although the location of sign language video is an important factor in the design of the video, the effect of its location in learning using the e-learning system was not studied. Method: In order to identify the effect of sign language video location on the learning of the hearing-impaired using the e-learning system, the prototypes of the system with different locations were developed. Eighteen people with hearing impairment participated in this experiment. Learning presence, learning immersion, and learning satisfaction were used to measure learning effects with sign language video location. Results: Bottom right position was more preferred through preference evaluation for sign language video location. The learning effect with sign language video location (bottom-left and bottom-right) was not significant. That is, the effects of learning presence, immersion, and satisfaction were not statistically significant with video location. Conclusion: From this study, the following have to be considered in e-learning system design for the hearing-impaired. Although the location of a sign language video is not a significant factor from the experiment, the bottom right position in the design is proposed because learning presence and satisfaction is slightly higher at the bottom right position, and the position is preferred from subjective evaluation. From the analysis of interview data, it was also proposed that the design of a sign language video should be improved for the hearing-impaired. Application: The result of this study can be applied to the e-learning system design for the hearing-impaired.

신문기사를 활용한 입지론 수업 : 벤처기업의 입지 사례 (Teaching Location Using Newpaper Articles: Venture Firms as an Example)

  • 입지는 지리학의 핵심 주제로 다양한 입지이론들이 산업분야별로 규범적인 연역적 모델로 제시되어 있다. 따라서 입지론 수업은 매우 논리적으로 전개되어 학생들에게 어렵고 재미없는 주제로 받아들여지는 경우가 빈번하다. 본 글에서는 정보 지식산업의 입지 내용으로 벤처기업 관련 신문기사를 활용한 입지 수업을 귀납적으로 전개하는 내용을 제시해 보았다. 우선 다양한 외국과 우리나라의 벤처 집적지 관련 신문자료를 제시하며 이로부터 입지 요인을 파악하고, 이들 입지 요인과 더불어 벤처기업의 대도시 지향, 집적불이익에 관한 신문자료로부터 벤처기업의 입지 특성을 일반화하는 단계로 진행하였다. 이러한 신문자료의 구체적 사례로부터 일반화를 도출하는 경제지리의 입지 관련 주제에 대한 수업 방식은 학생들의 흥미와 참여를 높이고 최근 강조되는 학습자 중심의 탐구식 수업을 진행하는 한 방법으로 고려될 수 있다.

위치기반 소셜 네트워크에서 시간과 사용자 활동을 고려한 개인화된 POI 추천 (Recommending Personalized POI Considering Time and User Activity in Location Based Social Networks)

  • 위치 인식 기술의 발전 및 스마트 디바이스 사용의 활성화로 인해 위치 기반 서비스과 소셜 네트워크를 결합하여 사용자에게 정보를 공유하는 위치 기반 소셜 네트워크(LBSN: Location Based Social Network)이 활성화되고 있다. 위치 기반 소셜 네트워크에서 사용자의 체크인 기능을 이용하여 사용자가 가 흥미있어 할 만한 장소를 추천하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 위치기반 소셜 네트워크에서 시간과 사용자 활동을 고려한 장소 추천 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 기존 논문에서 고려하지 못한 시간에 따른 사용자의 선호도 변화와 지역의 전문가, 희귀한 장소에 대한 사용자의 관심을 고려한다. 다시 말해, 사용자의 선호도 변화를 고려하기 위해 시간에 따른 체크인 이력을 사용하고 지역의 전문가를 판별하기 위해 사용자 활동 영역을 구분한다. 그리고 사용자가 선호하는 장소에 가중치를 주기 위하여 희귀한 장소를 고려한다. 다양한 성능평가를 통해 제안하는 기법이 기존 기법에 비해 성능이 우수함을 보인다.

한국군 전술컴퓨터의 인간공학적 메인버튼 설계 (User-interface Considerations for the Main Button Layout of the Tactical Computer for Korea Army)

  • The tactical computer is currently being developed and installed in armored vehicles and tanks for reinforcement. With the tactical computer, Korea Army will be able to grasp the deployment status of our forces, enemy, and obstacles under varying situations. Furthermore, it makes the exchange of command and tactical intelligence possible. Recent studies showed that the task performance is greatly affected by the user interface. The U.S. Army is now conducting user-centered evaluation tests based on C2 (Command & Control) to develop tactical intelligence machinery and tools. This study aims to classify and regroup subordinate menu functions according to the user-centered task performance for the Korea Army's tactical computer. Also, the research suggests an ergonomically sound layout and size of main touch buttons by considering human factors guidelines for button design. To achieve this goal, eight hierarchical subordinate menu functions are initially drawn through clustering analysis and then each group of menu functions was renamed. Based on the suggested menu structure, new location and size of the buttons were tested in terms of response time, number of error, and subjective preference by comparing them to existing ones. The result showed that the best performance was obtained when the number of buttons or functions was eight to conduct tactical missions. Also, the improved button size and location were suggested through the experiment. It was found in addition that the location and size of the buttons had interactions regarding the user's preference.

영산강 하천경관의 수위변화에 따른 시각적 선호요인 분석 (Analysis of Visual Preference Factor for Youngsan River Scenery considering the Variation of River Stage)

  • 본 연구는 수량에 의한 수면폭의 변화로 인한 하천경관의 시각적 선호도에 미치는 선호요인을 파악하기 위하여 "주변 환경이 일정할 때 수량에 의한 수면폭은 어떠한 요인에 의해 선호되어지는가?"에 대한 연구의문에서 출발하여 영산강경관의 수면폭에 미치는 선호요인을 구명하고 가장 선호되어진 경관의 수면폭/하폭비를 산정하여 시각적 선호도에 의한 필요유량을 산정하였다. 수면폭 변화에 따른 영산강 경관의 시각적 선호요인 변수는 먼저 영산교의 경우 개방감 인자, 물리적 특성 인자, 복잡성 인자 등 3개의 변수, 임곡교의 경우 복잡성 인자, 심미성 인자, 물리적 특성 인자 등 3개 변수로서 모두 유의성이 있는 것으로 판명되었다. 다중회귀모형에서 도시하천경관일 경우 물리적영향이 시각적 선호도에 가장 크게 영향을 미치며, 자연하천경관일 경우 복잡성정도가 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 필요유량의 수면폭/하폭비는 0.5에서 0.7정도의 비율을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 수면폭 변화에 따른 영산강 경관의 시각적 평가에 의한 요인 분석 결과와 하천의 필요유량은 하천경관을 조성하는데 많은 기여를 할 것이며, 이용자의 만족을 극대화할 수 있을 것이다.
