  • The form and location of chin is very important factor which determine the facial impression. Genioplasty is getting popular in order to improve the facial impression as facial beauty is considered as improvable factor. Through the geniplasty, chin can be moved to wanted location 3 dimensionally Genioplasty is relative simple but precise diagnosis and accurate surgical technique is very important for accurate and satisfying results. The form and shape of chin itself can be analysized and also must be evalulated in relation to the nose and lip and face. Author introduces the analysis of the chin, various surgical techniques of genioplasty and presents some cases.

  • Logistics parks make profits using the efficiency of time and space. Such logistics parks play an important role in a corporation creating operating profits as well as acting as a method of alternative investment for individuals. Logistics parks no longer simply store materials, but have become a place that plays an important role in various areas of corporate and individual activities, and thus the analysis of the selection of the location of logistics parks and the related characteristics is extremely important. The estimation model is established by the weights for industry derived from AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process).

  • We use three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulations of flux emergence from solar subsurface to corona. In our previous work, we reported the relation between magnetic-field configuration and the flux expansion factor. Following these results, we investigate where an upflow is generated in an active region and how its location is related to the flux expansion factor. We also derive physical quantities of a real active region from observation data provided by Nobeyama Radioheliograph (NoRH), X-Ray Telescope (XRT), and Extreme Ultraviolet Imaging Spectrometer (EIS) onboard Hinode. These physical quantities are plasma density, temperature and flow. By comparing the simulation result and observational one, we will discuss the properties of the location producing a solar wind.

Effect of column loss location on structural response of a generic steel moment resisting frame

  • The effect of column loss location on the structural response of steel moment resisting frames (MRF) is investigated in this study. A series of nonlinear static and dynamic analyses were performed to determine the resistance of a generic frame to an arbitrary column loss and detect the structural members that are susceptible to failure progression beyond that point. Both force-controlled and deformation-controlled actions based on UFC 4-023-03 and ASCE/SEI 41-06 were implemented to define the acceptance criteria for nine APM cases defined in this study. Results revealed that the structural resistance against an arbitrary column loss in the top story is at least 80% smaller than that of the bottom story. In addition, it was found that the dynamic increase factor (DIF) at the failure point is at most 1.13.

  • The solid waste incineration facilities which cause environmental pollution. And those are some kind of loathing facilities for residents who do not want it. This problem could be solved by location feasibility study. The purpose of location feasibility study was to determine one site out of three candidate sites. This study which was done by the law, environmental and economic factor was considered for optimum site selection. Comparative evaluation among the candidate sites was done by ordinal scale and thus the optimum site was selected.

Ergonomic Analysis of Screw Driver Workstation (스크류 드라이버 작업장의 인간공학적 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Twenty six subject drove screws with a screw driver into thick wooden sheet at three vertical and horizontal locations. Subjects drive screws for 3 minutes at each location and they assessed the conditon using the psychophysical scale. An ANOVA showed that only vertical location was a signicant factor in determining the pain ratings of various body parts. Driving screws at elbow height on the vertical surface ans with the lower arm close to the body on the horizontal surface were the work locations with the smallest ratings of perceived pain and discomfort. Wearing gloves had significant effects on reducing the pain of the hand.

  • The purpose of this research is to select an appropriate location of water pollution prevention facilities(WPPF) through evaluating location decision factor using environmental geographic information system. To do that, this research reviewed the current location policies of WPPFs and its related researches. And this paper builds water pollutant statistical databases, integrated them with the geographic information system of the administrative areas where water pollutants are generated, and gears it with statistical programs such as correlation and regression analysis in order to figure out the pollution factors which influence on the location decision of WPPF on the real time base. The volume of discharge of industrial wastewater is one of the most important water pollutants on the location decision of WPPF. And the number of industrial facilities also was the most important location decision factor in constructing the WPPFs. In addition, this paper noted that the number of population in each area makes a role to restraint the construction of WPPF. It identified that the disposal facility in Nackdong river upper-middle watersheds was insufficient in treating the livestock pollutants. Therefore, Gyeongbuk should concentrate on the construction of disposal facilities of livestock pollutant in these areas. The results of this research will contribute to decide what kinds of WPPF should be constructed on which watershed in Nackdong River, and to forecast the future water quality of each watershed.

  • The main current in the pathology of oriental medicine is composed of etiologic factor, pathogenesis and clinical manifestation. The access of a disease is consist of etiologic factor, location of the lesion, nature of the disease and patient's condition. The nature of disease and the property of a drug are inseparably related to each other. The nature of disease is composed of six exogenous factors, cold and heat, deficiendy and excess, Yinyang and pain. Cold nature is divided into cold symptom due to excess and asthenia cold, fever nature is divided into sthenic fever and asthenic fever. According to the location, cold and heat can be subdivided into heat in the upper and cold in the lower, cold in the upper and heat in the lower, exterior cold and interior heat, exterior heat and interior cold. Yin syndrome characterized by hypofunction of the viscera is generated from insufficiency of yang-qi, excess of yin-coldness, deficiency of both qi and the blood.

Difference in Bakery Choice Attributes according to Consumers' Characteristics and Purchasing Behavior (베이커리 소비자의 특성 및 구매행동에 따른 선택속성 차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference in bakery choice attributes according to consumers' general characteristics and purchasing behavior. Among 350 questionnaires distributed to bakery consumers, 277 complete questionnaires (79.1%) were analyzed. Bakery choice attributes were classified into five factors: "environment and image", "bakery product features", "location", "employee service", and "price and sales promotion"; the mean scores of these factors' importance levels were 3.59, 3.58, 3.49, 3.36, and 3.00, respectively. Males considered 'employee service' factor significantly more than did females. Further, the importance level of 'employee service' factor was significantly greater as consumer's age increased. The importance levels of 'bakery product features' and 'employee service' factors were considered significantly more by consumers who spent KRW10,000-15,000 than those who spent KRW5,000 or less. 'Price and sales promotion' was considered to be more important by consumers who obtained information from the Internet than from the TV and radio. 'Location' factor was considered to be more significant as purchasing frequency increased. Such differences in importance level of bakery choice attributes according to consumers' gender, age, job, and purchasing behavior should be considered and applied to the development of marketing strategies targeted at consumers.

Factors Influencing Internet Addiction Proneness in Higher Grade Students at an Elementary School (초등학교 고학년 학생의 인터넷 중독정도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing internet addiction proneness and condition of internet use in higher grade students at an elementary school. Method: The subjects consisted of 234 sixth grade students at an elementary school in Gyeonggido. SPSS/Win18.0 was used for analysis of data. Results: Among the subjects, 51.3% had used the internet for more than three years, 89.3% used the internet in their home, and 38.5% used the internet for games. In internet addition proneness, 3.1% were potential risk users and 1.3% were high risk users. Internet addiction proneness differed significantly according to gender, period of internet use, internet access location, and purpose of internet use. Internet addiction proneness showed negative correlation with protective factors and positive correlation with risk factors. The factors affecting the internet addiction proneness were degree of internet use, peer protective factor(support from peer), personal protective factor(self-control), internet access location, and family risk factor(negative communication). These factors accounted for 32.9% of internet addiction proneness. Conclusion: Strategies are needed for improvement of the relationship with the peer group and family communication and to encourage self-control for prevention of internet addiction in elementary school students in community mental health service.
