This study examined the effect of beauty service location characteristics and service quality on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, and analyzed the gender control effect of location characteristics and service quality in the relationship with customer satisfaction. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was employed and analysis was conducted to investigate how location characteristics and service quality in beauty service encounters effects customer satisfaction. The results of this study are as follows. First, visibility, which is a location characteristic, was found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, professionalism and convenience, which are service qualities, were found to have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Third, customer satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on the intention to revisit. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the gender control effect in the relationship between location characteristics and service quality with customer satisfaction, the gender control effect was found in all factors.

This paper examines the effect of storage location configurations on dual command cycle times for the efficient operation of automated storage/retrieval systems. We use a contour line approach to determine storage location configurations. We present a contour line configuration generating scheme and a location indexing scheme. Given a contour line configuration, the location indexing scheme provides a unique priority to each location. The location priority is then used for determining the storage location of an incoming load. To investigate the effect of alternative contour line configurations on dual command cycle times, we perform a series of experiments under various storage policies.

This study is estimates telephone service demand based on empirical studies of telecommunication service demand model. First, the telephone charge(call price index) by each location and subscription fee bring about a negative effect to telephone distribution rate: while the other explanatory variables bring about a positive effect. Second, the flexibility of telephone charge in A location(relevant location) and the flexibility between the distance of A location and B location are negative values, while the flexibility of other explanatory variables is represented in a positive value. This means that the long distance call numbers from A location to B location are in inverse proportion against the phone charge(call price index) of A location and against the distance between A location and the distance of other locations except A location, while they are in direct proportion with an average call number per minute from A location to other locations except A location, and also with subscription numbers of A location, other subscribers in locations other than A location, and the total expenditures of A location.

The purpose of this study was to study visual evaluation by the variation in the location of the belt of skirt and slacks. The results were as follows: 1. The visual evaluation by variation in location of the belt of skirt and slacks were classified by 4 factor: attractive image, horizontal effect, ordinary image, vertical effect. 2. As the study investigated differences by each factor according to a belt location of a skirt and slacks, the attractive image factor showed a bigger difference than any other factors. Especially, the study evaluated that a low location of the belt exhibited a attractive image for a skirt than slacks. 3. 9cm and -3cm or -5cm displayed the slenderest and smallest look respectively for a skirt and slacks in a horizontal visual effect. -1cm, -5cm and -1cm were revealed tallest and longest look respectively for a skirt and slacks in a vertical visual effect. 4. The variation in location of the belt had more effects on a visual image than a visual effect.

The purpose of this report was to study visual effect and functional effect of waist line location of slacks for females in 20'. 1. Differences of visual effect of slacks waist line change to be expressed that mature, sexual and casual slacks waist line were W4 or W5, looks like long leg and mature and formal slacks waist line was W1, slim lower part of the body and flat slacks waist line was W4. 2. Analysis result of functional effect difference with the location variation of slacks waist line were as follows. In all motions(M1, M2, M3, M4) W2 that downed 7cm-6cm-6cm from natural waist line was valued as the most comfortable, W1 and W5 were valued as discomfortable, where waist line was too high or too low.

In this study, the effect of dimensions and location of oil grooves on the static performance of a cylindrical journal bearing is analyzed numerically. Axial length, circumferential length and location of oil grooves are considered as parameters. Cavitation occurs within the diverging region of a journal bearing. The distribution of cavitation region where cavitation occurs varies with dimensions and location of oil grooves and affects the performance of a journal bearing. Elrod's cavitation algorithm which implements JFO boundary conditions based on the principle of mass conservation at the interfaces between cavitation and full film region is adopted in order to consider the effect of cavitation. The result shows that parameters, especially location of oil grooves have a great effect on the static performance of a journal bearing.

The purpose of this study is to present basic data that can express beautiful silhouette by studying visual effect that depend on waist position of basic pants and the change of round belt width and analyzing the study of visual effect of the pattern design as well as the effect of design component. The stimuli are 21 samples: 7 variations of the location of the waistline and 3 variations of the width of the belt. The data has been obtained from 35 fashion design majors. The data has analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, anova, scheffe's test and the MCA method. The visual effects by the location of waistline and the width of belt are composed of 3 factors : horizontal direction factor, vertical direction factor and flexuosity factor. In these factors, horizontal factor is estimated by most important factor. Visual effect is positive when belt width widens as the location of waist line goes down to position of low belt. And in case the location of waist line is in the position of natural waist belt and low rise belt, belt of 3.2cm width is effective visually. The interaction effects between the location of the waistline and the width of the belt have significant differences in all factors. Factor that appears in visual effect of basic pants can be evaluated differently according to pattern of pants and characteristic of body shape. So we may receive better visual assessment if we consider the location of waist belt and width of belt in side of visual effect and image, when we produce pants giving variety to crotch depth.

This paper presents a fault location algorithm when there are parallel circuits in power system networks. In transmission networks, a fault location method using the distribution factor of fault currents is introduced and in distribution networks a method using direct 3-phase circuit analysis is developed, because the distribution networks are unbalanced. The effect of parallel circuits in fault location is studied in this paper. The effect is important for the range of protecting zones of distance relay in transmission networks and fault location in distribution networks. The result of developed fault location algorithm shows high accuracy in the simulation that using the EMTP.

When piping system in a nuclear power plant is subjected to a beyond design seismic condition, it is important to accurately determine possibility of crack initiation and, if initiation occurs, its location and time. From recent experimental works on elbow pipes, it was found that the crack initiation location and crack propagation direction of the SA403 WP316 stainless steel elbow pipe were affected by the pipe thickness. In this paper, the crack initiation location and crack propagation direction for SA403 WP316 stainless steel elbow pipes with different thickness were analyzed via elastic-plastic finite element analysis. Based on FE results, the effect of the pipe thickness on different crack initiation location and crack propagation direction was analyzed using ovality, stress and strain components. It was also confirmed that the presence of internal pressure had no effect on the crack initiation location and crack propagation direction.

This study were performed to find the cooling effect and to provide design data during summer season for the Pad& Fan system of greenhouse . The temperature variation along the greenhouse width were analyzed. Also, the effect of the pad location and fan capacity on the cooling of the greenhouse were analyzed. While Pad &Fan systems were operating the temperatures in greenhouse were very different along the meausring locations. It is recommeded that PAD location and FAN capacity should be considered to design the Fan and Pad system in order to provide greenhouse the optimum temperature condition.
