위치기반서비스 고도화를 위한 요소 기술 개발

  • 위치기반서비스(Location Based Service)는 갈수록 고도화 되어 가고 있다. 특히 최근의 대형 포털을 중심으로 지오웹 서비스가 활성화 되어 있고 이를 스마트폰과 같은 개인용 이용기기를 통해 연속적으로 제공하려는 경향이 뚜렷하다. 이와 같은 시점에서 정부와 민간에서 구축 중이거나 보유 중인 전국적 규모의 데이터 간 상호 연동과 융합을 도모하려는 시도 또한 불가결하다. 이는 고도화된 LBS를 위하여 반드시 필요한 과정이기 때문이다. 이에 따라 몇 가지 주요한 전국 데이터를 대상으로 상호 연동과 융합을 위한 기술개발을 시도하였다. 우선 도로명주소기본도와 수치지형도 간 POI의 연계를 위한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 두도면 내의 POI를 대상으로 다양한 매칭과 이에 기반 한 의사결정 방법론을 이용하여 자동으로 상호 인식 및 연계가 될 수 있도록 하고 있다. 다음으로 지적도와 수치지형도 간의 객체 매칭에 관한 연구이다. 수치지형도와 지적도의 불부합으로 인하여 그 동안 지적도를 수치지형도에 맞춘 형태의 편집지적도를 지속적으로 생산하여 왔고 앞으로도 그럴 것이다. 문제는 여기에 필요한 많은 예산이다. 만일 수치지형도와 지적도를 자동으로 매칭하여 편집지적도를 자동으로 생산할 수 있게 된다면 많은 예산 절감과 함께 편집지적도의 현시성을 확보할 수 있게 될 것이다. 다음으로 항공사진과 도로망도의 매칭이다. 현재 주요 포털에서 제공하고 있는 항공사진 기반의 도로망도는 기복변위와 같은 문제로 인하여 시각적으로 많은 위치오차를 보이고 있다. 만일 항공사진의 도로영역을 자동으로 추출하여 벡터 도로망도와 매칭을 할 수 있다면 보다 시각적으로 안정된 항공사진 상의 도로망도를 제공할 수 있게 되고 나아가 이는 차량이나 보행자 네비게이션에 매우 요긴하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다. 다음으로 서로 LOD가 다른 도로망도의 매칭 문제이다. 많은 기관에서 독자적으로 생산한 도로망도는 LOD의 상이에 기인한 문제가 많아 서로 연계 활용되지 않는다. 이를 자동으로 매칭하여 서로 연계할 수 있다면 두 도로망도가 보유하고 있는 속성정보를 공동으로 이용할 수 있는 이익을 얻게 된다. 다음으로 지도 일반화 기술이다. 지도일반화는 지적도내 수치지형도와 같은 대규모 데이터를 스마트폰과 같은 저용량 사양의 기기에 서비스 할 때 불가결한 기술이다. 지도상 객체들의 기하학적 정보 손실을 최소화하면서 메모리 측면에서 경량의 지도를 자동으로 만들어 낸다면 이는 매우 요긴하게 이용될 것이다. 마지막으로 보행자 네트워크의 생성기술이다. 보행자 네트워크는 그 상세함과 정보용량에 있어서 차량용 네트워크에 견줄 수 없다. 이를 현행의 차량용 네트워크와 같이 수동으로 생성하는 데에는 경제적으로나 시간적으로 막대한 투자가 필요하다. 따라서 이를 기존의 공간정보들을 활용하여 자동으로 생성해 낼 수 있다면 그 파급효과는 매우 크리라 판단된다. 본 발표에서는 위와 같은 주제에 관하여 그간의 연구 성과를 개략적으로 소개해본다.

Simple Mobility Management Protocol Based on P2P for Global IP Mobility Support (글로벌 IP 이동성 지원을 위한 P2P 기반 간단한 이동성 관리 프로토콜)

  • Most of the previous mobility management protocols such as IETF MIPv4/6 and its variants standardized by the IETF do not support global seamless handover because they require partially changes of the existing network infrastructure. In this article, we propose a simple mobility management protocol (SMMP) which can support global seamless handover between homogeneous or heterogeneous wireless networks. To do this, the SMMP employs separate location management function as DMMS to support global user and service mobility and the bidirectional tunnels are dynamically constructed to support seamless IP mobility by using the IEEE MIH extension server, which is extended the IEEE 802.21 MIH standards. The detailed architecture and functions of the SMMP have been designed. Finally, the mathematical analysis and the simulation have been done. The performance results show the proposed SMMP outperforms the existing MIPv6 and HMIPv6 in terms of handover latency, packet loss, pear signal noise ratio (PSNR).

An Efficient Recovery System for Spatial Main Memory DBMS (공간 메인 메모리 DBMS를 위한 효율적인 회복 시스템)

  • Recently, to efficiently support the real-time requirements of LBS and Telematics services, interest in the spatial main memory DBMS is rising. In the spatial main memory DBMS, because all spatial data can be lost when the system failure happens, the recovery system is very important for the stability of the database. Especially, disk I/O in executing the log and the checkpoint becomes the bottleneck of letting down the total system performance. Therefore, it is urgently necessary to research about the recovery system to reduce disk I/O in the spatial main memory DBMS. In this paper, we study an efficient recovery system for the spatial main memory DBMS. First, the pre-commit log method is used for the decrement of disk I/O and the improvement of transaction concurrency. In addition, we propose the fuzzy-shadow checkpoint method for the recovery system of the spatial main memory DBMS. This method can solve the problem of duplicated disk I/O on the same page of the existing fuzzy-pingpong checkpoint method for the improvement of the whole system performance. Finally, we also report the experimental results confirming the benefit of the proposed recovery system.

Shear Buckling Strength and Behaviors of Steel Plate Girder with Asymmetrical Shear Resistant Web Panel by Local Corrosion (국부 부식손상에 의하여 비대칭 전단저항 복부단면을 가진 강거더의 전단강도 및 거동평가)

  • The number of the deteriorated bridge has been sharply increased due to the increase in the bridge service period in Korea. Local corrosion problem of structural member can be occurred according to atmospheric corrosion environments based on the installation location of steel bridges. Especially, in case of the plate girder bridge, corrosion damage is concentrated on the web panel and stiffener at girder end. An asymmetrical shear resistant web section in the plate girder bridge can be caused from the local corrosion of the web panel, because local corrosion is not symmetrically occurred to the bridge. In this study, therefore, the shear buckling strength and behavior of a plate girder with asymmetrically corroded web panel was numerically evaluated using FE analysis, which was considering an aspect ratio and corrosion damage level of web panel. The shear buckling strength reduction of an asymmetrical shear resistant web panel was compared and evaluated according to corroded volume ratio for a web panel and for diagonal tension field of a web panel.

A Novel Scheme for Code Tracking Bias Mitigation in Band-Limited Global Navigation Satellite Systems (위성 기반 측위 시스템에서의 부호 추적편이 완화 기법)

  • The global navigation satellite system (GNSS), which is the core technique for the location based service, adopts the direct sequence/spread spectrum (DS/SS) as its modulation method. The success of a DS/SS system depends on the synchronization between the received and locally generated pseudo noise (PN) signals. As a step in the synchronization process, the tacking scheme performs fine adjustment to bring the phase difference between the two PN signals to zero. The most widely used tracking scheme is the delay locked loop with early minus late discriminator (EL-DLL). In the ideal case, the EL-DLL is the best estimator among various DLL. However, in the band-limited multipath environment, the EL-DLL has tracking bias. In this paper, the timing offset range of correlation function is divided into advanced offset range (AOR) and delayed offset range (DOR) centering around the correct synchronization time point. The tracking bias results from the following two reasons: symmetry distortion between correlation values in AOR and DOR, and mismatch between the time point corresponding to the maximum correlation value and the synchronization time point. The former and latter are named as the type I and type II tracking bias, respectively. In this paper, when the receiver has finite bandwidth in the presence of multipath signals, it is shown that the type II tracking bias becomes a more dominant error factor than the type I tracking bias, and the correlation values in AOR are not almost changed. Exploiting these characteristics, we propose a novel tracking bias mitigation scheme and demonstrate that the tracking accuracy of the proposed scheme is higher than that of the conventional scheme, both in the presence and absence of noise.

Practical Investigation for Internet Airborne Video Map Focused on Vector Shaped Objects (벡터형 공간객체 중심의 인터넷 원격 동영상 지도 서비스에 대한 실증적 고찰)

  • The vector shaped object is generally very long (hundreds or thousands of kilometers) and very narrow (10-100 meters). Image mapping techniques and tools for these objects should be totally different from the traditional area-based targets. Acknowledging these unique characteristics of the vector shaped object, a motion picture mapping system has been developed by combining internet GIS technology with airborne video. In particular, integration between airborne video and digital maps took advantage of each component, and enabled the landscape structure to be visualized, interacted with and deployed all on the Web. The motion picture maps provided a completely new means for disseminating information for area-wide landscape in a visual and interactive manner to the general public while digital map with location information revealed successfully the major parameters that influence an area-wide spatial structure in the study area. The remote video approach breaks down the usual concept of image mapping in a conventional cartography. As a result, the research findings have established the new concept of 'internet airborne video mapping for vector shaped object', proposed as an initial aim of this paper. It would playa crucial role in improving the quality of public information service if the mapping system is operationally introduced into the Government since the highly user-friendly moving picture provides a completely new means for disseminating spatia) information for vector shaped object.

Study on the Integration of MMS and Airborn Survey Data for the Implementation of Precise Road Spatial Database (정밀도로공간정보 구축을 위한 지상 MMS 측정자료와 항공측량자료의 결합방법 연구)

  • Due to the introduction of various IT devices, including the recently smartphones and the widespread use of the car navigation system to the location-based information service space has been increased. Spatial information users have been requiring higher levels of quality. In this paper, we study how to build accurate three-dimensional space information by integrating MMS(Moblie Mapping System) survey and airborne survey data. Thus, to analyze the tendency of deviation between the MMS survey and airborne survey data observed in the experimental region, the deviation tendency of the data, it was confirmed that was not consistent. Deviation correction model to select how to change the georeferencing information directly contained in the GPS/INS processing results for the determination, classifies the standard is a method for acquiring the correction reference point coordinates using the calibration model, and analyzed their advantages and disadvantages. With the information of the reference point obtained by airborne photograph of a project, using the method of correcting the MMS survey data. Not only clear the deviation existing between the MMS survey data, it was possible to confirm that the deviation exists between the airborne survey data and MMS survey data was also almost erased.

Context-Aware Steel-Plate Piling Process System For Improving the Ship-Building Process (선박 건조공정 개선을 위한 상황인지 컴퓨팅 기반의 강재적치처리시스템)

  • A gigantic ship is constructed by assembling various types of ship blocks, each block being made by cutting and piecing the steel-plates together. The steel-plate piling process as the initial stage of ship construction sorts and manages the steel-plates according to the ship blocks that the steel-plates are used to make. The steel-plate piling process poses some problems such as process delay due to piling errors, safety vulnerability due to the handling of extra heavy-weight objects, and the uncertainty of work plan due to lack of information management in the pile spaces. We constructed a steel-plate piling process system based on the context-aware computing to resolve such problems. We built simulation system that can simulate the piling process and then established a smart space within the system by using tags, sensors and a real-time location system in order to collect context information. Workers receive an appropriate or intelligent service from the system.

  • Beacons have been noted in the core of the recent things Internet. It is also the technology is spreading most rapidly among the things Internet-related communication technologies. Beacon is a data communications technology that provides information that is customized to know the user's location. Using the BLE technology, to grasp the position of such people and goods. In addition to the non-contact method, since it is possible to communicate within the maximum 70m, it has attracted the interest than the NFC. Beacon, guidance for the current coupon, you can use as an advertising platform, such as the provision of product information, it has also been used in the indoor positioning service. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce about whether Case Study beacon is utilized how in the Internet of Things, were analyzed. Beacon exit the smart phone, the date to be used in conjunction with a wearable device, such as Google glasses and smart watch was not far away. Future it is expected or beacons are used everywhere to be expanded.

A Study on Assessment for Competitiveness of Port Hinterland (항만 배후부지 경쟁력 평가에 관한 연구)

  • Global companies regard the conditions of a location as one of the most crucial factors to assess the competitiveness of ports and the port hinterland, as well as emphasize creation of throughput and the importance of value added logistics in the hinterland under diffusing Supply Chain Management(SCM). This study deals with the evaluation of competitiveness in 7 hinterlands and the establishment of assessment model in hinterland. This study analyzes the importance of factors for the port hinterland competitiveness using AHP method. As a result, logistics factor, accounting for 62.3%, is shown as the relative more important factor, followed by hinterland's economy factors(27.3%) and city/policy factor(10.4%). The result implicates that measures to activate logistics factors with relatively high importance are essentially needed in order to improve the competitiveness of the hinterland of Busan New Port. Especially, it is needed to establish service routes of the port and air networks and to expand infrastructure for support. This study also assesses the competitiveness of hinterlands for the seven domestic and foreign ports based on importance of assessment factors for the hinterland competitiveness using AHP analysis. Busan(3.903) is ranked fourth behind Singapore(4.570), Hong Kong(4.357) and Shanghai(4.042) in assessment.
