계통연계형 PV 시스템의 주파수 변동에 의한 새로운 단독운전 검출기법 (Novel Islanding Detection Method using Frequency Drift for Grid-connected PV System)

  • PV system's islanding occurs when the uitilty grid is removed but local sources continue to operate and provide power to local loads. Islanding is one of the serious problems m an electric power system connected with dispersed power sources. Also, this can present safety hazards and the possibility of damage to other electric equipments. If the real and reactive power of RLC load and PV system are closely matched, islanding detection by passive methods becomes difficult. Novel islanding detection method using frequency drift is proposed for grid-connected PV system.

  • Generally the excessive caused by isolated sources in localized to members closely located to the vibration sources. In this case it may not be economical to model the whole structure to obtain the responses of a specific member. In this study, a substructuring technique has been used for local vibration of a framed structure. The boundary conditions of members selected are determined by condensing the degrees of freedom of the remaining members. Fixed and hinged boundary condition are also assumed for comparison. According to the results, the substructuring technique is quite efficient in predicting the responses of a structure on which the vibration source in located, but is not very reliable for the members located for away from the source.

Several active methods were proposed to detect islanding phenomena. The most effective method is SFS method which was suggested by Sandia National Laboratory. In this paper, a new anti-islanding algorithm is proposed and its validity is verified through simulation and experimental results for utility interconnection of PV system.

광주.전남 전통 음식을 연계한 농촌 관광 프로그램에 관한 연구 (On the Programs of Green Tourism Involving the Traditional Cuisine of Gwangju/Chonnam Provinces)

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore the possibility that green tourism involving traditional local foods could help reinvigorate local economy. The author examines some examples of developed countries to develop tour programs of the rural community and systematizes the local cuisine of Gwangju and Chonnam provinces. The source materials for this research include the data from the Office of Rural Development and interviews with the people concerned in June to July, 2005. The author starts with the literature review of written documents from various sources including the government, the Chonnam local government, periodicals and the internet. It seems necessary that we develop green tours involving unique local cuisines. To that purpose, the author claims that a variety of programs should be developed; (i) a public demonstration of traditional local foods, (ii) a hands-on experience program in which people can learn and cook by themselves, (iii) a tasting program of organic food and chemical-free produce, (iv) a program developing well-being food, and (v) lectures on healthy foods. The development of such green tours connected with the local cuisine will help vitalize the local economy and maintain tradition of the local cuisine.

  • We try to distribute air pollution sources at target area. The complex method is used to distribute air pollution sources. Most of people, However, want to simple indicator as standard for express air pollution source. In many area, air pollution is caused by different types of sources. The general type is point source, such as tall stack of power plants and oil refineries stacks. A second type is areal source, such as local industry and transportation. In this aspect, the ratio of sulfur dioxide to nitrogen oxides (RSN =SO$_2$/NOx)is an indicator of air pollution source. the role of this ratio is to show the characteristics at target area of the relationship the point and the areal source. 양전원 송전선로의 고장점 표정 알고리즘 (Fault Location Algorithm in a Two-ended Sources Transmission Line)

  • In order to service restoration and enhance power system reliability, a number of impedance based fault location algorithms have been developed for fault locating in a transmission line. This paper presents an advanced impedance-based fault location algorithms in a two-ended sources transmission line to reduce the DC offset error effects. This fault location algorithm uses of the GPS time synchronized voltage and current signals from the local and remote terminal. The algorithm uses an advanced DC offset removal filter. A series of test results using ATPdraw simulation data show the performance effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The proposed algorithm is valid for a two-end sources transmission network.

Hough 변환을 이용한 암묵신호분리방법 (Blind Signal Separation Method using Hough Transform)

  • This paper is on the blind signal separation(BSS) method by the geometric method. To separate the signal sources, we use Hough transform and BSS. Hough transform is a geometric method which let us know the local informations of the signal. We find the orientations of signals by Hough transform and know the number of signal sources. When the number of sensors is more than the number of sources. the BSS algorithm can separate the mixtures well in the time domain. This algorithm has a good performance in converging fast. We had checked up the quality of the algorithm after separating the mixed signals. The results of simulations show that this BSS method has the abnormal waveforms due to unconverging coefficients in the beginning, and stably has the separated waveforms which almost equal to the sources in the most period.

  • In this paper we investigate the blow up properties of the positive solutions to a semi linear parabolic system with coupled nonlocal sources $u_t={\Delta}u+k_1{\int}_{\Omega}u^{\alpha}(y,t)v^p(y,t)dy,\;v_t={\Delta}_v+k_2{\int}_{\Omega}u^q(y,t)v^{\beta}(y,t)dy$ with non local Dirichlet boundary conditions. We establish the conditions for global and non-global solutions respectively and obtain its blow up set.

  • In previous study, the local trends in dustfall chemistry and deposition were determined and the characteristics of chemical compositions among dustfall, TSP and rainwater were also compared. Based on the previous results, in this study, the effects of sea salts and soil and soil on the chemical composition of dustfall were studied and then the sources of dustfall in Cheju area were tentatively identified by principal component analysis(PCA)
