  • 1999년 미국에서 정보공유를 목적으로 블로그의 개념이 처음 도입되었다. 우리나라의 경우에도 2002년 말부터 본격적으로 대중에게 보급이 되었으며, 전통 블로그의 형태에서 홈페이지와의 결함을 통해 커뮤니티 형태의 독특한 형태로 발전해 나가고 있다. 이러한 독작적인 발전의 원인은 블로그가 한국사회가 요구하는 문화 커뮤니케이션 방향에 맞게 발전해 나가고 있기 때문이라 볼 수 있다. 오늘날 '세계는 점점 좁아지고 나라간 거리는 점점 가까워 진다'라고 한다. 디자인 또한 유니버셜 디자인을 지향한다고 외치고 있다. 하지만 블로그를 통해 바라본 세계화는 결국 local을 무시할 수 없다는 것이다. 그렇기 때문에 본 연구는 지역 문화 관점에서의 비판을 통해 사회의 뿌리 깊은 문화적 속성과 인간관계, 그리고 커뮤니케이션 방법에 관하여 연구해 보고자 한다.

농가맛집 운영유형별 방문객의 기대 및 인식, 만족도 조사 (A Study on Visitor’s Expectations, Perception and Satisfaction When Dining in a Farm Styled Restaurant)

  • Farm themed restaurants is an initiation by the Rural Development Administration (RDA) in order to perpetuate and develop Korean traditional food-culture. This food business model contributes to the increase of local food consumption and non-farm income for rural communities. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate the visitor's expectations, perception and satisfaction on the farm restaurant management type in order to assist activation of farm restaurants. Farm restaurants were categorized into two types; restaurant style and experience style. The majority of subjects(67.9%) were experiencing their first time to dine at farm restaurants. Regardless of farm restaurant style, the subjects perceived that farm restaurants use high quality food ingredients. The degree of subjects expectations prior to visiting a farm restaurant was estimated by 7 Likert scales. The results show that most subjects had high expectations for using good-quality food ingredients such as ‘fresh food (restaurant style 6.25, dietary education style 6.02)’ and ‘environment-friendly food (restaurant style 6.07, dietary education style 5.91)’. Overall satisfaction of the farm restaurants was also high. The satisfaction of food scored 4.1 and the satisfaction of experience program scored 3.8.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate type of the modern architecture in Daegu province, based on 91 buildings which were built from 1886 to 1945 in Daegu province. The results of this study could be summarized as follows : The modern buildings were built by the western missionary, Japanese, Chineses and Korean. The catholic, built Korean style cathedral and parsonage early in the missionary period, then changed to build Gothic revival and georgian style masonary buildings. The protestant built eclectic buildings. With masonary structure and Korean roof style. Then from 1930's, they started to build Gothic revival style buildings. Japanese built eclectic buildings which mixed with Western and Japan type during the first period. Then, they also started to build Western eclectic building. Chinese built only two buildings during the whole periods and those were Western eclectic style buildings. Korean started to build commercial and school buildings which were Western style from the middle of the second period by nationalist and local commercialist.

  • Since the end of 19th century, The form and inner space for the religious ceremony; liturgical space of Catholic churches in Busan diocese have been changed as various styles by several outer and inner factors. The changing of historical, social, and religious environment, such as Opening Harbor, Japanese Occupation, Korean War & Rehabilitation Period, and Vatican II are generally regarded as main outer factors, and the locality that lay behind the flux of those events is considered as the main inner factor. The former has usually operated as a momentum for showing general trend of Catholic church, while the latter has made local singularity expressed as unusual style and somewhat modified liturgical space compared with Its contemporary churches. In the context, this paper attempt to analyze the transformation process of style and liturgical space of Catholic churches in Busan diocese focused on revealing local singularity with main five churches, Bumil Church, Samrangjin Church, Milyang Church, Jungang Church, and Dongrae Church, constructed between the end of 19th century and 1962.

신문 광고에 나타난 1940년대 후반 서울 외식업의 양상과 변화 - 4대 신문의 음식점 광고 분석을 중심으로 - (The Patterns and Changes of the Late 1940s Seoul Restaurant Industry in Newspaper Advertisements - Focused on Analysis of the Four Major Newspaper's Advertisements -)

  • This study researches the restaurant industry in Seoul during the late 1940s. The research was based on the four major newspapers in Korea. The data included a total of 227 businesses with 164 non-fusion restaurants that served single-nation type food consisting of 101 Korean, 31 Western, 20 Japanese, and 12 Chinese. Some examples of South Korean dishes are Masan, Daegu, and Jeolla-do-style local foods. As for North Korean food, Pyongyang-style bulgogi, Naengmyeon, Hamheung-style janggukbap, and Gaejangguk were introduced frequently. Chinese restaurants that appeared were high-end places with Beijing-style cuisine. In the case of Japanese restaurants, they mostly had Sukiyaki with Joseon food served as well. Moreover, Western restaurants were fusioned with Japanese as in pork cutlet and curry rice. Others are comprised of "French Cuisine", "Indian curry rice", "Steak", and "Russian soup". This analysis indicates that foreign cuisines had actively entered the market.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the model of rural villages for 21th century guidance-style based on regional Indigenous resources. As a development model on premise environmental sustainability, economic sustainability, social-cultural sustainability, this paper aims to established that accommodate actively change element of village environment that stabilizes local environment and ecosystem on the basis of development model's principle and contents and information area.   • High-quality images and videos are being generated as technologies for deep learning-based image style translation and conversion of static images into dynamic images have developed. However, it takes a lot of time and resources to manually transform images, as well as professional knowledge due to the difficulty of natural image transformation. Therefore, in this paper, we study natural style mixing through a style conversion network using GAN and natural dynamic image generation using the First Order Motion Model network (FOMM).

  • Our natural desire to exuviate old theory and search for new ideas means conversion and reformation. Howev-er, the new idea of the present moment will soon become an ancient history when the next generation emerges with more advanced ideas. Naturally, we have learned to accept the past history and utilized it as a the foundation for the future. Through the repeated process of the learning method, the popula-tion cultivate themselves with proper understanding and appropriate attitude toward design. By analyzing social behaviors of the past and living conditions, we can ex-pand our imaginations beyond limits. Each society and its local condition have tremendous effects on the develop-ment and progress of artistic theories, techniques and craftsmanship, and potential design of every day use products. Today, interior design can not afford to ignore the or-ganic relationship of life style and space. Thus, the plan-ning of space means the planning of life style. Life style, as it is, has a vast definition and changes with time. That is why spaces, which consider the life style and its environment when designed, show different aspects ac-cording to its corresponding time. Interior design, in particular, differs by time and re-gion to create its unique style. The change in space is the natural result of the change in life style which again is sensitive to the change in cultural and environmental elements. Design is no longer designing of mere physical elements and environment. Design should be taken as the equivalent of creating spiritual culture.

상해 패션 위크 중국 신진 패션 디자이너의 "중국풍" (The "Chinese Style" of Chinese New Generation Fashion Designers in Shanghai Fashion Week)

  • This research analyzed the Chinese style design embodied in the collections of the new generation of fashion designers shown during the Shanghai Fashion Week to improve the understanding of Chinese style and the modernization of Chinese design. The research questions were 1) studying the development of the Chinese fashion industry chronologically and investing young designers' current situation, 2) investigating young designers' awareness of Chinese style and analyzing Chinese style design in collections. A literature and case study were conducted as the research method. The literature study focused on the books about the Chinese fashion industry and history, newspaper, articles, and so on. The case study was conducted among 63 Chinese style collections in 2016-2020 SFW by investigating fashion magazine reviews, articles, and so on. The findings are as follows: 1) Young Chinese fashion designers' awareness of Chinese style has three characteristics; the nonmaterial tendency from decreasing stereotyped images, combination of traditional culture and local youth culture, and commercialization with trends. 2) Chinese elements, including natural, character, and cultural elements were predominantly used in the concept, pattern, and shape. Nonmaterial characteristics were identified in concept, cultural combination characteristics in concept, shape, color, material, and pattern, and trend commercialization in shape, color, and pattern. In conclusion, Chinese young fashion designers had strong national consciousness and new awareness of Chinese style fashion in decreasing the stereotyped images of China. Thus, they used more varied expressions. Meanwhile, they faced difficulties in expressing nonmaterial Chinese elements by balancing them with Chinese style and globalization.
