  • Now that the e-commerce users are explosively increasing, there is always followed by a sharp increase in load from the e-commerce system and the heavy traffic on the network, where leads to the delayed service for the client's request. The natural consequences contain decreasing customer satisfaction and weakening the business's competitive position in markets. Therefore, we'll need to study the e-commerce system in due consideration of the operational efficiency and response speed. This study includes a design of e-commerce system, with a hierarchical structure based on the local server, which has the capability of caching necessary to distribute the system load, makes a proposal concerning a split web-cache algorithm devoted to the local web server to finally give an analysis of the performance through the appropriate trial.

  • Most of companies have analyzed markets continually and founded market strategies based on these analyses to gain competitive advantage. But sometimes some mistaken market analyses make the strategic decision-making of companies bring unexpected results. This because many companies just research or consider only the present condition, so they can't reflect dynamic change and the delayed feedback effect and then found the market strategy in the short-term angle rather than analyze the structural features of market on the whole. For that reason, this paper will describe how effective system thinking and system dynamics are as they found strategy of company for solving the problems and trying to find better alternative proposal by explaining process of founding market strategy with a casual loop diagram and a simulation model in the local government server market.

  • In this paper which it is relating to the DSRC system based road side equipment, we propose the protocol stack architecture of road side equipment and the process structure of the main RM, L7 and LLC layers which is road side equipment device as well. And also we design the signal flow and data-transfer process as well between road side equipment and on board equipment to describe the installation process between road side equipment and von board equipment based on DSRC system. Thus, it is possible to provide various application services between intelligent transportation systems of road side equipment and local server, as well as it enables the local server managing the memorys of on board equipment which entry in service area thru the road side equipment.

  • 네트워크의 성능 향상에 영향을 미치는 여러 요소 중에서, 본 연구에서는 NIC(Network Interface Card) 버퍼 사이즈(Buffer Size)가 웹 서버와 LAN(Local Area Netwok)에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 버퍼 사이즈의 조절을 통해서 내부 네트워크의 패킷 분실율, 처리량, RTT(Round Trip Time), 수신율의 변화를 NS-2를 사용하여 시뮬레이션 해보고 그 결과를 비교하여 이더넷(Ethernet)에서의 웹 트래픽에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • In mobile Internet banking service through wireless local area network, security is a most important factor to consider. We describe the development of mobile banking service using Personal Digatal Assistant (PDA). In order to increase the strength of encryption, we adopted hybrid approach where both of the public key algorithm and the secret key algorithm are used during the transaction among PDA, banking server and authentication server.

  • The mobile characteristics of the smart phone are well suited to on-the-site oriented services and are being utilized in a variety of ways. However, since most applications operate on a central server basis, Internet access is inevitable, and there are various problems such as an increase in server maintenance cost and security deterioration. Although researches have been proposed to utilize the smart phone itself as a server to improve it, these methods are based on downsizing the PC-based web server or modifying the smart phone kernel. These methods have the problems that a end user has to use the rooting, and they are not able to effectively utilize various communication means of a smart phone. In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of an application level smart phone web server. The server receives the document request from the remote via the Internet and in the local area using the WPAN. At this time, the web document is stored as an internal file structure of the smart phone application. We proposed the phttp protocol which uses server's phone number as ID for document request. Through the implementation, we analyzed the capacity and latency of stored data and its effectiveness is evaluated.

  • Power plant simulators have been used for operator training, control verification and engineering verification. In general, simulators can be used in the place where they are installed by only single user group at a time. Considering high cost of simulator development, a lot of available scenarios, the diversity of user level and accessibility based on users' work location, development of simulator system that can be used by multiple user groups regardless of location is required in order to enhance utilization of simulators. In this paper, the simulator system that can be used by multiple user group simultaneously without location limitation is proposed. The simulator system is composed of simulator servers, database servers, HMI servers, a web server, web clients. Simulator server consists of control model, process model that are developed for Circulating Fluidized Bed power plant located overseas. A web server manages user accounts, operation procedures, multiple server access between web client group and simulator server group. In other words, a web server makes a user group select a simulator server at a time. The developed simulator system is integrated after implementing process model, control model, HMI, and web server. Web client systems are installed on local site where power plant is located, while simulator servers, HMI servers, database servers, and a web server are located in KEPCO RI. The developed simulator system is verified by steady-state test, malfunction test and so on via remote access.

  • In this paper, we propose a remote controller for robot manipulator using local area network(LAN) and internet. To do this, we develope a server-client system as used in the network field. The client system is in any computer in remote place for the user to log-in the server and manage the remote factory. the server system is a computer which controls the manipulator and waits for a access from client. The server system consists of several control algorithms which is needed to drive the manipulator and networking system to transfer images that shows states of the work place, and to receive a Tmp data to run the manipulator The client system consists of 3D(dimension) graphic user interface for teaching and off-line task like simulation, external hardware interface which makes it easier for the user to teach. Using this server-client system, the user who is on remote place can edit the work schedule of manipulator, then run the machine after it is transferred and monitor the results of the task.

웹 서버 연동의 실시간 디지털 정보 디스플레이 시스템 (Realtime Digital Information Display System based on Web Server)

  • 이 논문에서는 인터넷상의 실시간 날씨 정보, 실시간 뉴스, 생활 정보 같은 콘텐츠나 특정 홈페이지 또는 자체에서 제작한 각종 홍보 및 광고용 플래시 및 동영상 콘텐츠를 자동 실행하는 DID(Digital Information Display) 서비스를 설계 및 구현하였다. 제안된 DID 시스템은 클라이언트/서버 구조를 갖으며, 서버는 웹서버로부터 스케줄 정보를 받아 클라이언트에게 관련 정보와 데이터를 전송하여, 일시적인 네트워크 장애를 극복할 수 있다. 또한 웹페이지 필터링 기능으로 특정 페이지의 부분적인 정보 추출을 하여 실시간으로 서비스해줌으로써 DID 서비스의 광고효과를 증대할 수 있다.

안드로이드에서 로컬 프록시를 이용한 유해 컨텐츠 차단에 관한 연구 (A Study for Blocking Harmful Contents through a Local Proxy on Android)

  • Harmful contents on a mobile platform are becoming serious problems to young people due to the prevalence of smart phones with the fast development of mobile technology. Mobile applications and contents are so much optimized on the mobile environment that young men are exposed to many harmful contents. A system for blocking harmful contents is suggested in this study. The system includes a local proxy function, filtering module, and local database in order to increase the blocking efficiency. The local proxy function and the filtering module are implemented on an Android platform, and the local database are running on a PC-based server. The suggested system perfectly blocks harmful contents, and shows relatively high speed.
