As the state of the art for handling Multimedia on the internet is developed a new system called WebCAM which services video and image came out. However, WebMIC site for audio services are still rare. In this work, we developed a system which enables anyone to listen audio in real-time through the internet. WebMIC system is implemented by connecting a server with a microphone and the recorded audio files are stored in a Database system. Because the microphones can be distributed sporadically, the developed system can be utilized for managing and advertizing a location. It also can be used to reduce the cost for the existing management system which is almost met by personnel expenses. Anyone who can connect to the internet can get this WebWIC service, so this system can produce a good effect if used in advertising any tourist resort.

As there comes out better and better solutions for delivering multimedia data on the internet, the number of WebCAM sites which transmits pictures of any spot to the user's system is getting increased. WebCAM service over the internet can be compared with the CATV in that it is beyond the spatial constraints. In this project, we construct a WebCAM site Which performs not only the fundamental WebCAM functions of capturing images and of transmitting them periodically but also various kinds of modules carrying out tasks such as image processing, remote control of the camera, processing multiple user requests, making panorama views and so on using Java which is the most popular language for the internet or CGI. The past images are stored in a database implemented for the WebCAM system, so the system can be extended to get over the constraints in time also.

Object motion is an important feature of content in video sequences. By now, various methods to exact feature about the object motion have been reported[1,2]. However they are not suitable to index video using the motion, since a lot of bits and complex indexing parameters are needed for the indexing [3,4] In this paper, we propose object motion map which could provide efficient indexing method for object motion. The proposed object motion map has both global and local motion information during an object is moving. Furthermore, it requires small bit of memory for the indexing. to evaluate performance of proposed indexing technique, experiments are performed with video database consisting of MPEG-1 video sequence in MPEG-7 test set.

현재 웹상에는 수많은 서비스들이 존재하고 이러한 서비스들은 WSDL, SOAP, UDDI을 기본구조로 하여 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그러나 급격하게 증가하는 서비스제공자들과 서비스 요청자 사이에서의 최적의 서비스를 제공하는 것에는 많은 어려움이 있었다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 UDDI는 자신의 Repository에 서비스 제공자에 대한 정보를 등록함으로써 사용자로 하여금 좀 더 용이하게 서비스에 대해 접근할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 그러나, UDDI에는 비즈니스에 대한 기능적인 명세만 있을 뿐 비 기능적 특성에 대한 명세는 제공하지 않았기 때문에 사용자에게 비 기능적인 부분, 즉 웹 서비스 성능에 대한 보장을 하였고, 이러한 비 기능적 정보를 Local Database에 서비스 성능평가 기준에 따라 Sorting 알고리즘을 사용하여 저장한다. 사용자는 다중질의를 통해 기능적, 비 기능적 질의를 동시에 하게 되고, 비 기능적인 면의 서비스 성능에 따라 Sorting된 서비스 중 최적의 서비스를 선택함으로써 사용자는 최상의 서비스를 제공받게 된다.

This paper reports an expert system for coordination of protective relays in the high voltage transmission system. The proposed system consists of five modules and has adopted the frame and production rule representations achieving the efficient data storage and knowledgebases. It has an interface to the fault program PSS/E and has reduced the data retrival time by implementing the local database containg only the minimum information for the process. Different relay parameters and output formats of the setting results can be easily incorporated owing to the rule-based structure. Graphics-based output helps understanding of the process and enhances the practical power.

This study was carried out to estimate carbon footprint and to establish of LCA of garlic production system. We have case study in cultivate garlic 1 kg calculate in carbon footprint. LCA carried out to estimate carbon footprint and to establish of LCI (life cycle inventory) database of garlic production system. The data is from Research of Farmer's income in 2010 (RDA, 2011), and used Pass (5.0.0) program. The value of fertilizer, amount of pesticide input were shown the environmental effect and direct emission. Carbon footprint in agriculture guarantees the choice right the consumer to choose the lower carbon goods. Its can make to strengthen of agriculture and food industry's reduction effort of $CO_2$. Nowadays consumer requests food's safety and environment friendly process. Carbon footprint also needs consumer's relief and incentives.

Applicability of LCA in establishing the integrated solid waste management were examined. Data were collected from current waste management system. LCA method was then applied to find environmentally sustainable waste management. The process comprises five steps : (1) collecting data, comparing the data with comprehensive urban planning as well, (2) analyzing the current waste treatment procedure leading to the database establishment, (3) LCA for the waste management system, (4) finding alternative scenarios based on the former steps, (5) establishing the optimum method in Ecopolis, best fitted to the local situation. The results and suggestions in this study are expected to yield comprehensive analysis as to current practices in waste management. More importantly it will be a valuable data in minimizing environmental burdens in connecting with living environments of Ecopolis. Information regarding the urban system and total environmental quality are expected from this study.

According to revisions of survey law taking effect on January 1, 2003, the Korean geodetic datum has been changed from a local geodetic to a world geodetic system. In this study, the datum transformation parameters especially for the maritime geographical data are determined. From database constructed through MGIS, a total of 492 coordinate pairs were selected and used in the parameter determination after outlier testing. Based on the parameter estimation, the Molodensky model is selected for datum transformation. For higher accuracy, Application of network optimization and a least squares collocation with Gaussian model has resulted in the accuracy better than 15 cm in coordinate transformation.

In this paper, we propose a fast face detection approach using PCA and SVM. In our detection system, first we filter the face potential area using statistical feature which is generated by analyzing local histogram distribution. And then, we use SVM classifier to detect whether there are faces present in the test image. Support Vector Machine (SVM) has great performance in classification task. PCA is used for dimension reduction of sample data. After PCA transform, the feature vectors, which are used for training SVM classifier, are generated. Our tests in this paper are based on CMU face database.

As a lot of information and media are given to users in Internet space nowadays, users feel disoriented or "lost in space" intensively. So it is suggested that we have the system to reduce information overload and to propose effective and efficient information. In this study we present a visualizing technique which uses fisheye views on data adjacency to combine global context and local details for presentation of many results in limited space. Data Adjacency on graph theory is applied to set up degree of interest which is main focus in fisheye views. Graph theory is useful to solve the problem resulted from various combinational optimization, especially it has advantages to analyze issues in information space like Internet. To test the usability of the proposed visualization technique, we compared the effectiveness of different visualization techniques. Results show that our method is evaluated with respect to less time and high satisfaction for a task accomplishment.
