유한요소법을 이용한 전부주조관의 교합점 위치와 하중방향이 시멘트층 내 응력에 미치는 영향 (Characterization of the Stresses in the Luting Cement Layer Affected by Location of the Occlusal Points and Loading Direction on a Full Veneer Crown)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 전부주조관에서 교합점의 위치와 교합력의 방향이 합착용 시멘트층 내의 응력에 미치는 영향에 대해서 알아보는 것이다. 하악 제 1대구치상에서 서로 다른 9 개의 교합점과 3가지 교합력 방향을 가진 27가지 조합의 유한요소 모델을 상정하였다. 금관의 소재는 제 3형 금합금이고, 변연의 형태는 chamfer이다. 합착용 시멘트로는 전 층에서 균일하게 $70{\mu}m$의 두께를 가지는 글라스 아이오노머 시멘트가 사용되었다. 금관에는 100N의 하중을 적용하였다. 협측과 설측 변연의 근접도에 따라서 시멘트층 내 응력은 다른 양상을 나타내었다. 협측은 변연으로부터 약 0.5 mm, 설측은 변연으로부터 약 1 mm 내측에서 최대 응력 값을 가졌다. 하중 방향이 치축에 대해 경사가 클수록, 하중점이 교두첨에 근접해 있을수록 더 큰 응력이 발생하였다.

An Experimental Study on Interrelation of Influential Parameters on Unbonded Tendon Stress

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relations between unbonded tendon stress and its influential parameters, i.e. bonded reinforcement ratio, span/depth ratio, and loading type. To this end, the influence of such parameters was examined with twenty eight test results of previous studies. Afterwards, an experimental study was carried out with twenty one test specimens. The investigation of previous and current experiments revealed the followings; (1) The bonded reinforcement ratio and prestressing ratio were proved to be important variables on the unbonded tendon stress. (2) The ratio of span to depth and the type of loading affected the unbonded tendon stress partially although their effects varied with bonded reinforcement ratio. (3) AASHTO LRFD Code and Moon/Lim's design equations predicted the experimental results well with the safety margin.

유기인계 살충제 Chlorpyrifos 유제 살포액 조제 시 농작업자의 손 노출량 측정 및 위해성 평가 (Hand Exposure of Operator to Chlorpyrifos during Mixing/loading and Risk Assessment)

  • Chlorpyrifos 유제 살포액 조제 시 작업자의 손 노출량 측정하였으며, 위해성 평가를 실시하였다. 분석기기상의 검출한계는 0.25 ng, 정량한계는 1 ng로 설정하였고, 표준 검량선의 직선성과 분석재현성은 우수하였다. 장갑의 회수율은 72.3-103.4% 이었다. 살포액 조제 시 평균 손 노출은 3.9 mg이었으며, 조제 약량 대비 0.004%이었다. 위해성평가를 하기 위하여 한국 평균 남자 체중, 농작업자노출허용량(AOEL, acceptable operator exposure level) 손 노출량을 비교하였다. 또한 하루 조제 횟수는 8회로 가정하였고, 가장 많이 노출되는 최악의 경우를 확인하기 위하여 30 반복 손 노출량의 75 percentile에 해당하는 노출량(4.6 mg)을 이용하여 위해성 평가 결과 위해성이 낮은 것으로 판단되었으나, 30반복 각각의 위해성 평가 결과 2회는 노출량보다 허용량보다 많아서 위해성이 예상되었다.

수정N-R법과 연속음형법을 이용한 임계부하점 및 Nose Curve 산정기법 연구 (A Study on the Calculation Scheme of Extreme Loading Point and Nose Curves using Modified N-R and Continuation Method)

  • Several voltage instability/collapse problems that have occurred in the electric utility industry worldwide have gained the attention of engineers and researchers of electric power systems. This paper proposes an effective calculation scheme of the extreme loading point and nose curves(P-V curves) using modified Newton-Raphson(N-R) load flow method and the Continuation Method. This method provides detail and visual information of the power system voltage profile and operating margin ro operators and planners. In this paper, a modified load flow claculation method for ill-conditioned power systems is introduced for the purpose of seeking more precise load flow solutions and nose curves, and the Continuation Method is also used as a part of the solution algorithm for the calculation of extreme loading point and nose curves. The conventional polar coordinate based N-R load flow program is modified to avoid numerical difficulties caused by the singularity of the Jacobian matrix occuring in the vicinity of extreme loading point of heavily loaded systems. Application results of the proposed method to Klos-Kerner 11-bus system and modified IEE-30-bus system are presented to assure the usefulness of the approach.

비대칭 무장 형상의 조종성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Aircraft Handling Quality for Asymmetric Loading Configuration)

  • 현대의 고성능 전투기는 공대공 및 공대지 전투 임무를 수행하기 위해 여러 가지 무장 형상을 하고 있고, 무장투하 시 비대칭 형상(Asymmetric Configuration)으로 임무를 수행하는 경우가 많다. 현재, 개발이 진행 중인 T-50 훈련기의 비대칭 무장형상 비행시험에서 세로축 기동 시 가로축 방향으로 조종사가 원하지 않는 운동이 발생하는데, 이는 항공기 안정성 및 조종성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 현상을 개선하기 위하여 기존의 가로축 제어법칙인 미끄럼각-미끄럼각속도 귀환 구조를 F-16과 같이 단순 롤각속도 귀환구조로 적용하였다. 연구결과, 단순 롤각속도 귀환구조로 가로축 제어법칙을 변경하였을 때 비대칭 무장형상에서 세로축 기동 시 가로축 운동의 발생이 줄어들었으며, 시스템의 안정도 여유는 설계기준에 만족한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

원주방향균열이 존재하는 원전 배관계통의 파괴거동에 관한 실험적 연구(I) - 직관부에서의 균열거동 평가 - (An Experimental Study on the Fracture Behavior of Nuclear Piping System with a Circumferential Crack(I) - Estimation of Crack Behavior in Straight Piping -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the effects of both seismic loading and crack length on the fracture behavior of piping system with a circumferential crack in nuclear power plants. The experiments were performed using both large scale piping system facility and 4 points bending test machine under PWR operating conditions. The difference in the load carrying capacities between cracked piping and non-cracked piping was also investigated using the results from experiments and numerical calculations. The results obtained from the experiments and estimation are as follows : (1) The safety margin under seismic loading is larger than those under quasi static loading or simple cyclic loading. (2) There was no significant effect of crack length on tincture behavior of piping system with both a surface crack and a through-wall crack. (3) The load carrying capacity in cracked piping was reduced by factors of 7 to 46 compared to non-cracked piping.

유한요소법에 의한 Post와 Core 형성법의 비교 (A COMPARISON OF POST AND CORE TECHNIQUES WITH FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress distribution in mandibular second premolars restored with different post and core techniques. Sixteen two-dimensional finite element model of mandibular second premolars restored with post and core and complete crown were developed according to the diameter, length, and material of post and core. Vertical force, 10N in magnitude, was applied first to the central fossa and then $45^{\circ}$ oblique force of same magnitude was applied to the buccal contact surface of buccal cusp. The obtained results were as follows : 1. Stress distribution within the dentin 1) Regardless of the material of the post and core and the diameter and length of the post, the pattern of stress distribution within the dentin was similar. 2) Maximum dentinal stress was observed on the lingual root surface of alveolar crest level with oblique loading and on lingual side of root dentin at the crown margin on vertical loading. 3) Cast post and cores produced the lowest dentinal stress concentrations and the highest stress concentration was observed in composite resin post and cores. 2. Stress distribution within the post and core 1) Within the amalgam and composite resin post and core, the patterns and maximum values of stress were similar. Maximum stress located at the central fossa of core portion on vertical loading and at the lingual junction of post and core with oblique loading. 2) Among the all post and cores, the cast post and core registered the highest stress concentration and maximum stress value within the post. Maximum stress located at the post apex on vertical loading and at lingual half of the post surface with oblique loading. 3) In case of Para-post and amalgam core, maximum stress located at the central fossa of core portion and lingual tip of the post head on vertical loading. With oblique loading, maximum stress located at the lingual half of the post surface.

  • A Study on the Fracture Strength of All-Ceramic Crown according to the Zirconia Coping Design using CAD/CAM System L. Bulgan, In-Ho Cho, Soo-Yeon Shin Department of Prosthodontics, Graduate School, Dankook University The fracture strength of prosthesis is important, because it affects the function, and long term success of prosthesis and teeth. The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture strength of zirconia coping designs. Experimental test group were classified into three designs according to coping design, Modified design: Zirconia coping margin was located at 1mm above the axiogingival line angle. Collarless design: The coping margin terminated at the axiogingival line angle Butt design: The coping margin was extended to the finishing line of prepared margin. A $Cercon^{(R)}$(Degussa, Germany) CAD/CAM system was used to make the zirconia coping. Fracture strength was measured using loading machine at a cross head speed of 1mm/min. The results were statistically analyzed using the one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison test. Statistical significance was set in advance at the probability level of less than 0.05. The result : I. Collarless($738N{\pm}155N$) and Modified($755N{\pm}185N$) groups showed significantly a lower fracture strength than Butt($1057N{\pm}262N$) group(p<0.05). II. There were no statistical differences of the fracture strength between Modified($755N{\pm}185N$) and Collarless($738N{\pm}155N$) groups. III. When comparing the fractured surface, all the group showed porcelain fracture, which were fractured at the labial surface of baked porcelain The butt design of the zirconia coping has higher fracture strength than modified and collarless design.

IPS-Empress 도재관의 변연형태에 따른 파절강도에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE FRACTURE STRENGTH OF THE IPS-EMPRESS CERAMIC CROWN ACCORDING TO MARGIN TYPE)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture strength of the IPS-Empress ceramic crown according to margin types such as bevel, shoulder, rounded shoulder, shoulder with bevel, rounded shoulder with bevel and bevel with groove. After 10 metal dies were constructed for each group, the IPS-Empress ceramic crown were fabricated and each crown was cemented on each metal die with Bistite resin cement. The cemented crowns mounted in the testing jig were inclined 30 degree and universal testing machine (Zwick 1456 41, Zwick Co., Germany) was used to measure the fracture strength. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The fracture strength of the crown with rounded shoulder was the highest of all. The mean fracture strength was 484N in rounded shoulder, 357N in bevel, 341N in rounded shoulder with bevl, 300N in shoulder with bevel, 280N in shoulder and 275N in bevel with groove. 2. The fracture strength of rounded shoulder was statistically different from those of shoulder with bevel, shoulder and beve41 with groove. 3. In the strain at fracture, there was no significant difference among each group. 4. The fracture mode of the crown was similar and most of fracture line began at the loading area and extended through proximal surface perpendicularly to the margin, irrespective of margin type.

An experiment on compressive profile of the unstiffened steel plate-concrete structures under compression loading

  • This study intends to examine the characteristics of compressive behavior and conducts comparative analysis between normal compressive strength under existing equations (LRFD, ACI 318, EC 4) and experimental the maximum compressive strength from the compression experiment for the unstiffened steel plate-concrete structures. The six specimens were made to evaluate the constraining factor (${\xi}$) and width ratio (${\beta}$) effects subjected to the compressive monotonic loading. Based on this experiments, the following conclusions could be made: first, compressive behaviors of the specimens from the finite element analysis closely agreed with the ones from the actual experiments; second, the higher the width ratio (${\beta}$) was, the lower the ductility index (DI) was; and third, the test results showed the maximum compressive strength with a margin by 7% compared to the existing codes.
