편심압축하중을 받는 사각튜브의 최대압괴하중 (Maximum Crippling Load in Eccentrically Compressed rectangular Tubes)

  • This paper describes the collapse characteristics of the rectangular tube under eccentric compressive load. Local buckling stress and maximum crippling load are investigated. A thin-walled tube under load is controlled by local buckling or yielding of material according to the ratio of thickness to width (t/b) of the cross section, and subsequent collapse of the section. The relationship can be divided into three regions : elastic , post-buckling and crippling . the load-displacement relationship is theoretically presented in each region by introducing the stress distribution of the cross section in the loading process. And the maximum load carrying capacity is derived in the closed form as a function of normal stress on the flange and web.

Behavior of reinforced concrete segmental hollow core slabs under monotonic and repeated loadings

  • This study investigated experimentally the response of thick reinforced concrete specimens having hollow cores with critical parameters. The investigation includes testing of twelve specimens that are solid and hollow-core slab models. Each specimen consists of two pieces, the piece dimensions are (1.2 m) length, (0.3 m) width and (20 cm) thickness tested under both monotonic and repeated loading. The test program is carried out to study the effects of load type, core diameters, core shape, number of cores, and steel fiber existence. Load versus deflection at mid span, failure modes, and crack patterns were obtained during the test. The test results showed that core shape and core number has remarkable influenced on cracking pattern, ultimate load, and failure mode. Also, when considering repeated loading protocol, the ultimate load capacity, load at yielding, and ductility is reduced.

다구찌 기법을 활용한 반도체 연마 공정의 최적 설계수준 결정 (Determination of Optimal Design Level for the Semiconductor Polishing Process by Taguchi Method)

  • Purpose: In this study, an optimal design level of influencing factors on semiconductor polishing process was determined to minimize flexion of both sides on wafers. Methods: First, significant interactions are determined by the stepwise regression method. ANOVA analysis on SN ratio and mean of dependent variable are performed to draw mean adjustment factors. In addition, the optimal levels of mean adjustment factors are decided by comparing means of each level of mean adjustment factors. Results: As a result of ANOVA, a mean adjustment factor was determined as a width of formed flexion on the plate. The mean of the difference has the nearest to 0 in the case when the width of formed flexion has level 2 (4mm). Conclusion: Optimal design levels of semiconductor polishing process are determined as follows; (i) load applied to the wafer carrier has a level 1 (3psi), (ii) load applied to the wafer has a level 1(3psi), (iii) the amount of slurry supplied during polishing has a level 3 (300 co/min), (iv) the width of formed flexion on the plate has level 2 (4mm).

  • 본 논문은 PWM(Pulse width Modulation)전압형 인버어터를 사용하여 전원차단 경우나 전압변동 및 부하변동에 의한 출력전류 변화에도 일정한 출력전압을 유지하는 무정전 전원장치에 대해 논하였다. 본 시스템은 전압형 인버어터를 교류전원과 동기시켜 운전하고 정상상태에서는 전원으로부터 운전하고 정상상태에서는 전원으로부터 직류측에 연결된 축전지를 태양전지를 이용한 광기전력효과와 함께 일정전압을 충전하며, 전원의 차단, 전원의 전압변동 및 부하전류의 변화에도 일정한 전압을 유지하도록 하였다. 출력은 PWM방식에 의하여 양호한 파형이 되도록 하고 전원차단과 부하의 상태의 변화 및 전원 전압 변동에도 일정한 전압으로 출력됨을 실험을 통하여 확인할 수 있었다.

다수의 층상균열이 내재하는 보의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of a Beam Having n Through-the-width Splits)

  • A frequency equation of beam subjected to the axial load and having ηthrough-the-width-splits is developed. The beam comprises of beam elements that are split into the upper and the lower part, and non-split beam elements. Equations of motion of each beam element are non-dimensionalized with respect to length. The frequency equation of beam is derived from that of each beam element, which satisfies the displacement of the longitudinal and transverse vibration and the boundary conditions between the beam elements. Numerical simulation and experimental work for the beam having several split beam elements are carried out to demonstrate the analytical development and its validity. The experimental results are in good agreement with those of the present frequency equation. The relationships between the split beam width and natural frequencies, and also the relationships between number of split and natural frequencies, in case that the total beam split length is same. are discussed.

  • There are many researches to make low-energy building. Lots of them focus on facility systems and insulation performance of building materials. However, not only systematic solutions but also approaches in early design stages are important to reduce energy consumption. Using BIM(Building Information Modelling) is considered as an effective and efficient way to simulate building energy and decide alternatives than traditional energy simulation because BIM based energy simulation makes to reduce much time for energy modeling. This study focuses on development of optimized geometry for super tall office buildings in Seoul, Korea. Specifically, length to width ratio and building orientation are main topics of this study because these two topics are the most basic and preceding factors deciding mass design. In this study, Revit MEP 2011 and Ecotect Analysis 2011 are used to make case models and calculate energy load in early design stages. Energy properties of material abide by Korean Standards for Energy Conservation in Building, Korean Guideline for Energy Conservation in Public Office and ASHRAE Standard in USA. This study presents best length to width ratio of plan and optimized orientation by evaluating the case models. Furthermore, this study suggests what should be considered for each case to decrease energy load.

  • In pulsed-power techniques. Marx generator is generally used for the high-power device. but this generator has insulation and spatial problems. So we will suggest a pulse transformer that has a small size to generate the high voltage pulse instead of Marx generator. In this paper, Pulse duration is 4 [${\mu}s$] and the ratio of input and output voltage is 40[kV]/200[kV](step-up ratio=5). The output voltage and the process of pulse compression for pulse circuit are simulated by EMTP (Electro-Magnetic Transient Program). The secondary voltage of pulse transformer is about 200[kV] and pulse width is 4[t/s]. When the secondary winding of the pulse transformer is saturated. the pulse width is 1.25[${\mu}s$]. We selected dummy load 50[$\Omega$] for impedance matching. The pulse voltage of dummy load is 100[kV] and pulse width is 500[ns].

강판으로 보강된 철근콘크리트 기둥의 구조적 거동에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Structural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Columns Rehabilitated with Epoxy-Bonded Steel Plates)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural behavior of reinforced concrete columns rehabilitated with epoxy-bonded steel plates subjected to axial load. Eleven specimens were made to evaluate structural capacity of reinforced concrete columns rehabilitated with steel plates. This study considers the change of the internal force and the deformation of reinforced concrete column with reinforcing steel plates, and analyzes the effect of the improvement of strength and ductility. Based on the test results, this study brings the following conclusions. In case of the effect of reinforcement by the ratio of the same volume, the internal force for the test model, which the width of the reinforcing steel plate is small, is effectively higher. The smaller the width and the thickness of reinforcing steel plate, the more effective the effect of reinforcement is. For applying the theorical equation by Uzumeri, the maximum load and the coefficient of effective crossing reinforcement by the width and the thickness of steel plate reflected the properties of reinforcing steel plate.

Prediction behavior of the concentric post-tensioned anchorage zones

  • Methods for designing the post-tensioned anchorage zones at ultimate limit state has been specified in current design codes based on strut-and-tie models (STM). However, it is still not clear how to estimate the serviceability behavior of the anchorage zones. The serviceability is just indirectly taken into account by means of the reasonable reinforcement detailing. To address this issue, this paper is devoted to developing a modified strut-and-tie model (MSTM) to predict the behavior of concentric anchorage zones throughout the loading process. The principle of stationary complementary energy is introduced into STM at each load step to satisfy the compatibility condition and generate the unique MSTM. The structural behavior of anchorage zones can be achieved based on MSTM from loading to failure. Simplified formulas have been proposed to estimate the first cracking load, bearing capacity and maximum crack width with the consideration of the details of reinforcement bursting bars. The proposed model provides a definite method to control the bursting crack width in concentric anchorage zones. Four specimens with different bearing plate ratios have been designed and tested to validate the proposed method.

탄소섬유쉬트(CFRP Sheets)로 보강된 폭두께비가 큰 콘크리트 충전 각형강관 기둥의 중심축하중거동 (Axial Loading Behaviors of Square Concrete-Filled Tubular Columns with Large Width-to-Thickness Ratio Retrofitted using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Sheets(CFRP Sheets))

  • 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 충전 각형강관 (CFTP) 단주기둥에 CFRP 쉬트를 횡방향으로 보강하고 중심축하중 실험을 수행하였다. 실험변수는 b/t, CFRP쉬트 보강겹수이며, 총 6개의 실험체가 제작되었다. 실험변수로 사용된 판폭두께비는 b/t는 60, 80, 100이고 CFRP쉬트는 3겹 보강하였다. 실험결과 판폭두께비 100 실험체에서 CFRP쉬트 3겹 보강을 통해 내력을 16% 상승시켜 보강효과를 검증하였다. 내력 저하율을 검토한 결과 국부좌굴이 발생하지 않는 단면강도를 기준으로 최대 41%정도 내력이 저하되었으나, CFRP보강을 통해 32% 정도의 내력이 저하되어 보강효과를 검증할 수 있었다. 하중-변형를 관계를 보면 강재는 항복강도 이전에 국부좌굴이 발생하였으며, CFRP쉬트의 보강을 통해 국부좌굴을 지연시킴을 확인하였다.
