$H_\infty$ control of contact position and force of a manipulator

  • An application of H$_{\infty}$ synthesis to contact control of a manipulator is suggested. Based on computed torque linearization of a manipulator, a target dynamics for contact motion control is defined and used as a reference model. The target dynamics relates position and force errors through free motion impedance and force error compensators. The H$_{\infty}$ control synthesis is adopted to find an optimum the compensator for position tied force control in various directions of the end-effector. The optimization is performed on the augmented criteria, which trades off the sensitivity function of the errors and the input load at the joints. A design example of the compensator is provided that meets the design specifications.s.

시동/정지 반복에 따른 고분자전해질 연료전지의 성능 저하에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Degradation of PEMFC by Repetitive Startup/Shutdown Cycling)

  • To investigate degradation mechanism of PEMFC operated with repetitive startup/shutdown cycling, i-V characteristics, impedance, cyclic voltamograms were measured. OCV decreased from 0.967 to 0.951 V while the cell voltage at 800mA/$cm^2$ from 0.657 to 0.563V, implying that the electrodes rather than membrane electrolyte was damaged during the cycling operation. Electrochemical analyses supported that the performance degradation could be mainly attributed to degradation of the electrodes such as a decrease in electrochemical active surface area rather than degradation of membrane.

  • 이 논문에서는 부하가 걸려 있는 전송 선로의 길이가 변화할 경우 입력반사 계수가 스미스차트 상에서 그리는 쾌적의 방정식을 유도한다. 결과에 따르면, 전송 선로의 특성 임피던스가 정규화 임피던스와 다를 경우 쾌적은 원을 그리게 되며, 그 원의 중심과 반지름은 부하의 임피던스와 전송 선로의 특성 임피던스에 의해 결정된다. 이 결과는 마이크로스트립 선로를 사용하여 정합 회롤를 설계할 때 선로의 길이와 너비를 조정할 필요가 있을 경우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

  • A constant V/F control system of voltage contrlled PWM inverter has a unstable operation of the low- speed and the light-load. In this paper, the authors propose stability control with idealized operation of induction motor by the neglect of primary leakage inductance and resistance. Also ldealized operation system is adopted voltage error, feed back impedance circuit, and increasing resistance from dead time of switching is compensated by the soft ware with u-processors. The proposed simulation of the idealized control method is proved at the low-speed operation for three phase induction motor.

  • A simple and practial equivalent technique has been presented in this study. Arbitrary number of bus system can be aggregated to the equivalent one-bus system, equivalents are totel real, and reactive bus powers and T/L losses viewing form boundary buses. Variables to be determined are line impedance between boundary buses and the equivalent bus, voltage and angle of that bus. IEEE 14 bus system is used to demonstrate the proposed method. even in contingency cases very good results have been obtained

  • This paper shows that the presence of constant impedance loads and induction motors in power system's loading contents can lead to transient voltage instabilities during normal system manipulations such as switchings. The abnormal induction motor characteristics during system transients which initiate the voltage instabilities are illustrated. The influence of motor and network parameters, such as motor inertia mechanical load quantity and nature on the severity of the voltage instability are studied.

  • In this paper, fuel cell power generation system that is being studied in recent railway field was applied to compensate for the voltage drop due to the load as driving electric vehicle. PSIM simulation program is to be used to implement the modeling of the electric railway for AC AT feeder system. For it, It was applied to the product-type single-phase PLL algorithm, step-down converter is controlled as power so as to have the fuelcell generation system. Based on it's result, a reactive power due to the catenary impedance in accordance with the current flowing is compensated as linked with fuelcell generation system which supplied the current to the power supply grid. and then its performance was confirmed that voltage compensation effect obtained at SubStation (SS), SubSectioning Post (SSP), Sectioning Post (SP).

  • The estimation of the work of heart can be treated as one of the most important parameters for determining the amount of circulating blood needed for harmonious metabolism in the human body. By monitoring the work of heart, one can detect increased work load of heart and start the treatment at the early stage of CHF. Thus it is necessary to estimate the work of heart. The contractility of the left ventricle, the second important parameter for representing the motion of heart, can be estimated through information on the work of heart. In this study, the modified Windkessel model, which has been used for a measure of vascular hemodynamic impedance parameters, was adapted to estimate the work of heart.

  • This paper presents exact autotransformer-fed AC electric railroad system modeling using constant current mode. The theory is based on the solution of algebraic. The proposed modeling is considered the line self-impedances and mutual-impedances. Besides, the load modeling improved results are obtained as application to the proposed constant current mode. In the analysis on AT-fed AC electric railroad system circuit, a generalized analysis method using the loop equation on a case by case. the simulation objectives are to calculate the catenary and rail voltages with respect to ground, as the train moves along a section of line between two adjacent ATs. The model contains assumptions regarding the representation of the autotransformer, the impedance of the track/catenary system, and the grounding arrangements, which all effect the accuracy of the result. The modeling results seem very reasonable. It is established that techniques for the AC electric railroad system modeling and analysis.

  • Uniform current distribution among conductor layers in HTS cables using IPTs (inter-phase transformers) was investigated. Conventional methods for current distribution, in which resistors are inserted to conductor layers, causes additional loss. In contrast, IPTs, which use magnetic coupling, make it possible that the current in parallel circuits is distributed uniformly with any load, and minimize the loss. In this study, IPTs were designed and fabricated for examination of uniform current distribution in the conductor layers of HTS cables. The ITP was designed through calculation of its impedance that can cancel the inductance of the conduction layers. The experimental setup consisted of four IPTs and four inductors that simulate the conductor layer inductance. Each layer was designed to feed 10 A. We examined the behavior of current distribution with IPTs for various layer inductances.
