3 포트 ERF 밸브의 유량-방향 제어 성능 실험 -유압시스템 및 자동화 융합연구- (Performance Test of 3 Port ERF Valve for Controlling Flow Rate-Direction)

  • In this study, ER fluids were working fluid and yield shear stress of attained dispersive ER fluids made by analyzed to adapt effectively at the practical equipment like three port ER valve. In addition, movement of ER particle was observed by using a microscope the same as the strength of electric field with Bingham characteristic. Basis material was presented to develop 3 port ER-Valve by quantitatively comparing and analyzing entrance, load and outlet flow's differences of 3 port rectangular tubes. This study, after designing and producing the 3port ER-Valve, considered the characteristic of pressure drop, outlet and load flow rate by changing the strength of electric field on ER fluids flowing between electrodes.

SMC 압축성형의 열 및 유동에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Heat Transfer and Flow in Compression Molding of SMC)

  • An experimental study on heat transfer and flow in compression molding of clss-B and A SMC(Sheet Molding Compounds) in a flat plate and a cross-sectional T-shape was carried out. The temperature was measured with thermocouples at two locations in the 4 layered SMC charge and pressure was measured at the center of the top mold during compression molding. Three different mold speeds, 15, 45, 50 mm/min and two different mold temperature, $130^{\circ}C{\;}and{\;}150^{\circ}C$ were used for compression molding experiments. Experiments with different colored SMC layers were used to study flow patterns at various compression stages. In oder to predict the pressure and load in SMC compression molding, slab method was used. The predicted values of pressure and load from the slab analysis were compared well with the measured data.

소형펀치 시험과 역해석에 의한 재료의 유동응력 결정 (Inverse Analysis Approach to Flow Stress Evaluation by Small Punch Test)

  • An inverse method is presented to obtain material's flow properties by using small punch test. This procedure employs, as the objective function of inverse analysis, the balance of measured load-di splacement response and calculated one during deformation. In order to guarantee convergence to global minimum, simulated annealing method was adopted to optimize the current objective function. In addition, artificial neural network was used to predict the load-displacement response under given material parameters which is the most time consuming and limits applications of global optimization methods to these kinds of problems. By implementing the simulated annealing for optimization along with calculating load-displacement curve by neural network, material parameters were identified irrespective of initial values within very short time for simulated test data. We also tested the present method for error-containing experimental data and showed that the flow properties of material were well predicted.

SI 엔진의 텀불 유동과 화염전파 (Tumble flow motion and flame propagation in a SI engine)

  • In this study, single cylinder engines with different tumble ratio were made to find out in-cylinder fluid motion and flame propagation. Tumble ratio derived from the steady state flow rig test. Flame propagation speed was obtained using cylinder head gasket ionization probe and the piston ionization probe. And the combustion pressure in cylinder was measured to analyze the combustion characteristics. In case of high tumble engine, BSFC and BSHC were decreased and BSNOx was increased at part load test. Also BMEP and combustion peak pressure was increased at full load test. Tumble flow motion had an great effects on initial burning period rather than main burning period in part load test.

수질오염총량관리 단위유역 유량자료와 하천유량 측정망 자료의 연계성 분석 (Relationship between the Flow data on the Unit Watersheds and on the Stream Flow Monitoring Network)

  • It is very difficult to apply stream flow data directly to the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads because there are some differences between the unit watershed and the stream flow monitoring network in their characteristics such as monitoring locations and its intervals. Flow duration curve can be developed by linking the daily flow data of stream monitoring network to 8 day interval flow data of the unit watershed. This study investigated the current operating conditions of the stream flow monitoring network and the flow relationships between the unit watershed and the stream flow monitoring network. Criteria such as missing and zero value data, and correlation coefficients were applied to select the stream flow reference sites. The reference sites were selected in 112 areas out of 142 unit watersheds in 4 river basins, where the stream flow observations were carried out in relatively normal operating conditions. These reference sites could be utilized in various ways such as flow variation analysis, flow duration curve development and so on for the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads.

자갈하천 총유사량에 대한 소류사의 비율 (Ratio of Bedload to Total Sediment Load in Gravel-bed Rivers)

  • The sediment transport process in a river reflects the process of geomorphological change in the watershed, influencesthe river bed variation and the river channel migration, and is a parametric phenomenon that exhibits a dynamic self-adjusting process. Sediment load is divided into bedload and suspended load depending on the dominant mechanism. Quantitative sediment load is important information for solving river problems. Because it is difficult and time consuming to measure bedload, compared to that ofsuspended load, data on the sediment transport load and the research required for the gravel-bed rivers are insufficient. This study is to analyze the ratio of the bedload to the total sediment load in gravel-bed rivers. The sediment load ratio in gravel-bed rivers increases with the flow rate per unit width, and the rate of the bedload varies more rapidly than the suspended load. The sediment transport efficiency coefficient has been affected by the ratio of the flow depth to the mean diameter of particles and has been dependent on the shear velocity Reynolds number. So $A^{\ast}$ and $B^{\ast}$ are introduced to compensate for the uncertainties such as bed materials, sediment transport, and flow velocity distribution, and the coefficient of bedload ratio has been presented. For the sediment load data in experimental channels and rivers, A* was 3.1. The dominant variables of $B^{\ast}$ were $u_*d_m/{\nu}$ in the gravel-bed and h/dm in the sand-bed. When $B^{\ast}$ the is the same, in the experimental channels the coefficient of bedload ratio was affected by the bed forms, but in the rivers it was of little difference between the gravel-bed and sand-bed.

소형 압전유압펌프 브레이크 시스템의 성능해석 및 실험 (Performance Analysis and Test of the Small Piezoelectric-Hydraulic Pump Brake System)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 압전유압펌프 브레이크 시스템의 성능해석 및 실험을 수행하였다. 먼저 브레이크 시스템의 구성을 위해 브레이크 부하 구성품의 3-D 모델링을 수행하였고, 상용 프로그램인 AMESim을 이용한 모델링을 진행하였다. 브레이크 시스템 모델링에는 플로팅 타입의 캘리퍼를 부하로 활용하였다. AMESim 시뮬레이션을 통해, 부하 압력과 체크밸브 변위 및 무부하 상태에서의 유량을 계산하였으며 브레이크 부하의 추가에 따른 성능해석 및 동특성 변화를 확인하였다. 브레이크 시스템의 성능 실험을 위해 부하를 고정시키는 치구를 제작하였고, 무부하 상태에서의 유량 및 부하 압력 형성 실험을 수행하고 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 최대 부하압력은 130Hz에서 약 73bar, 최대 유량 발생은 145Hz에서 약 203cc/min로, 중소형 무인기 브레이크 시스템에 적용가능성을 확인하였다. 또한 시뮬레이션 결과와 실험결과의 오차는 부하 압력과 토출 유량에서 각각 6%, 5% 정도이며, 모델링이 브레이크 성능해석에 효과적으로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

타이어 공기압 시스템 기술을 사용한 차량의 적재중량 측정 시스템 개발 (Development of a Load Measurement System for Vehicles using Tire Pressure System Technology)

  • 본 논문에서는 타이어의 물리적인 요소 중 하나인 압력정보를 이용해서 자동차의 하중 표출이 가능한 타이어 공기압 측정 기술을 사용한 차량의 적재중량 측정시스템 설계 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 하중 및 진동에 의한 노이즈 보정, 기체유량 보정, 데이터 믹서, 중량 환산 등의 4가지 과정으로 구성된다. 하중 및 진동에 의한 노이즈 보정에서는 외부충격 및 차량이 주행 중 발생하는 진동 등에 의해 타이어의 내부 압력이 상승하는 노이즈를 제거한다. 기체유량 보정 과정에서는 하중 및 진동에 의한 노이즈 보정 과정을 거친 데이터에 대하여 지면의 온도상승에 의해 타이어의 내부 압력이 상승하는 노이즈를 제거한다. 데이터 믹서 과정에서는 화물적재 시 타이어에 수직으로 전달이 되어 타이어의 압력변화에 따른 공차, 중차, 만차에 대한 하중과 압력 등을 분류하게 된다. 중량 환산 과정에서는 하중 및 진동에 의한 노이즈 보정 및 기체유량 보정을 거친 데이터를 사용하여 중량 환산 알고리즘을 통해 중량으로 표출된다. 중량 환산 알고리즘은 하중과 압력변화에 대한 선형 함수의 기울기인 중량 환산 Factor를 구하여 중량을 환산한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 타이어 공기압 측정 기술을 사용한 차량의 적재중량 측정 시스템의 정밀도를 평가하기 위해 자체적으로 테스트 베드를 구축하여 평가하였다. 하중 및 진동에 의한 노이즈 보정 결과와 기체 유량 데이터 보정 결과는 신뢰성 있는 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 중량 정밀도 반복 실험도 국내 업체 기준치인 90% 보다 우수한 중량 정밀도를 나타내었다.

Restricted Blood Flow Exercise in Sedentary, Overweight African-American Females May Increase Muscle Strength and Decrease Endothelial Function and Vascular Autoregulation

  • Objectives: Exercise with partially restricted blood flow is a low-load, low-intensity resistance training regimen which may have the potential to increase muscle strength in the obese, elderly and frail who are unable to do high-load training. Restricted blood flow exercise has also been shown to affect blood vessel function variably and can, therefore, contribute to blood vessel dysfunction. This pilot study tests the hypothesis that unilateral resistance training of the leg extensors with partially restricted blood flow increases muscle strength and decreases vascular autoregulation. Methods: The subjects were nine normotensive, overweight, young adult African-Americans with low cardiorespiratory fitness who underwent unilateral training of the quadriceps' femoris muscles with partially restricted blood flow at 30% of the 1-repetition maximum (1-RM) load for 3 weeks. The 1-RM load and post-occlusion blood flow to the lower leg (calf) were measured during reactive hyperemia. Results: The 1-RM load increased in the trained legs from $77{\pm}3$ to $84{\pm}4 kg$ (P < 0.05) in the absence of a significant effect on the 1-RM load in the contralateral untrained legs (P > 0.1). Post-occlusion blood flow decreased significantly in the trained legs from $19{\pm}2$ to $13{\pm}2mL{\cdot}min^{-1}{\cdot}dL^{-1}$ (P < 0.05) and marginally in the contralateral untrained legs from $18{\pm}2$ to $16{\pm}1mL{\cdot}min^{-1}{\cdot}dL^{-1}$ (P = 0.09). Changes in post-occlusion blood flow to the skin overlying the trained and the contralateral untrained muscles were not significant. Conclusion: These results demonstrate that restricted blood flow exercise, which results in significant gains in muscle strength, may produce decrements in endothelial dysfunction and vascular autoregulation. Future studies should determine whether pharmacopuncture plays a role in treatments for such blood vessel dysfunction.

경험적 법칙을 사용한 부하 차단에 관한 연구 (Load shedding algorithm based on heuristic search)

  • Load shedding algorithm has been developed using heuristic search and D.C flow method. The line flow error with a D.C method was improved in this paper. Minimization of load shedding was obtained with heuristic search method. Although analytical method have been mixed with expert algorithm the C language fitted well for this purpose.
