This study is to investigate the level of science learning concepts presented in life and matter fields of the 7th science textbooks. 6 units were analysed; 'the structure of living things', 'digestion and circulation' and 'respiration and excretion' of life field, and 'three states of matter', 'molecular motion', 'a change of state and the energy' of matter field. The gross number of concepts was 305 in life field, and 73 in matter field of the 7th science textbooks. Among publishing companies, the number of concepts was a little difference. Much more concepts in life field were presented than those in matter field. Percentages of the number of concrete and formal concepts were 58% and 42% in life, and 14% and 86% in matter field. The ratio of the number of concrete versus formal concepts was different between life and matter field. Thus, it is implied that science learning concepts are presented considering cognitive level of learner, and unit and content are constructed on the basis of properties of science fields in developing science curriculum and textbooks.
The purpose of this study is to prevent and review counter-action for the sexual harassment in campus by revealing current state of sexual harassment in campus relatively weak in sexual discrimination with regard to sexual harassment emerged as social problem serious in our nation. The targets of study were students and assistants in three schools located at $Kwangju\cdot{Chonnam}$ area, a questionnaire made by pre-researcher was applied to student vs. assistant with regard to sexual consciousness and recognition, and current state of sexual harassment, with analysis of material processed through statistical analysis using SPSSWIN 10.0 for verification of $$\chi$^2$ for identification of difference vs. family and student vs. assistant. The result of this research with regard to sexual harassment is under following: Firstly, the recognition of concept of sexual harassment was proved to be aware of be more than half a responders above average, lack of recognition showed significant number requiring establishment of concept of sexual harassment, the responders stated that they could do it alone should be treated in the counseling room in school. Secondly, 28.7% of students and assistants answered that they have suffered from sexual harassment now and. before, even a great number of males have experienced such sexual harassment. In case of female assistants, more than half of them suffered from sexual harassment suggesting us significant level of sexual harassment to female assistants. A depth of sexual harassment to assistants should be investigated in a further way by preparing for and establishing concrete preventive actions and researches, mostly suffered by males; In this respect, a preventive training of sexual harassment should be deemed to be provided to males. Thirdly, as a result of investigation of sex education and preventive action against sexual harassment in college, most of elementary, junior, junior high school hardly provide no or inefficient sexual harassment, and they responded that the campus needs its education. As a way to educate campus with sexual harassment efficiently, a special lecture or regular class might be designed for systematic education or sexual harassment through schools counseling room might be effective emphasizing upon role of the room according to opinions of responders. The college is required to install such offices or centers as can exclusively manage and take charge of sex education program operation, legal system of anti-sexual harassment, or personnel arrangement for such activities in school by reflecting such result into school for appropriate and efficient education of or counseling to sex.
Most studies defined microplastic (MP) as plastic particles less than 5 mm. The ubiquity of MP is raising awareness due to its potential risk to humans and the environment. MP can cause harmful effects to humans and living organisms. This paper review aimed to provide a better understanding of the sources, pathways, and impacts of MP in the environment. MP can be classified as primary and secondary in nature. Moreover, microplastic can also be classified as based on its physical and chemical characteristics. Stormwater and wastewater are important pathways of introducing MP in large water bodies. As compared to stormwater, the concentrations of MP in wastewater were relatively lower since wastewater treatment processes can contribute to the removal of MP. In terms of polymer distribution, wastewater contains a wider array of polymer varieties than stormwater runoff. The most common types of polymer found in wastewater and stormwater runoff were polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), polyethylene (PE) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The continuous discharge and the increasing number of MP in the environment can pose greater hazards and harmful effects on humans and other living organisms. Despite the growing number of publications in relation to MP, further studies are needed to define concrete regulations and management strategies for mitigating the detrimental effects of MP in the environment.
The article has the characteristics of a preliminary writing about how to look at the trend of new archives 'fever' and 'impulsion' emerging around the domestic and foreign art world, which have not been paid much attention yet in the 'mainstream' archive research, and how to accept it independently. Specifically, this study aims to examine how archival art is involved in history and memory with aesthetic attitudes and methods through observation of recent tendency of domestic archive art, and what implications or influence the 'archival impulse' phenomenon in the art world can have on the research trend of 'archival studies.' First, I would like to look at the meaningful movement to reinterpret and actively accept archival impulses in concrete overseas cases, that is, the archive system of a public archive in the United States. This is followed by an attempt to explore the characteristics and characteristics of creative works that are carried out through the medium of archives, that has not yet reached the level of organization of specific archive methods but are sporadically attempted in the domestic art world. It examines how so-called 'archive artists' record unrecorded in a way that is not observed in the existing archival world, and how they summon and include excluded history in aesthetic language. In conclusion, this study explores the possibility of pulling the historical records of tradition out from archival boxes and reinterpreting them as living archives within the contemporary emotional structure from this new artistic trend called 'archival art'.
The purpose of this study was to explore and compare health-promoting behaviors and its relationships with associated variables between Korean elderly and Korean-American elderly. Study instruments were questionnaire that consisted of socioeconomic characteristics, health-promoting lifestyle patterns. self-esteem and self-efficacy. Data were collected from convenient sample of 150 Korean elderly and 110 Korean-American elderly recruited from senior centers. Collected data were analyzed by t-test. ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. The results are followings : 1. In religion, $32.7\%$ of Korean elderly were protestant. while $32.7\%$ of Korean-American. elderly were protestant. $61.3\%$ of Korean elderly were living with their children, and only $17.3\%$ of Korean-American elderly were living with their children. 2. There was no significant difference in the mean HPLP score in two groups. but Korean elderly showed higher practices in health responsibility. exercise. and stress management than that of Korean-American elderly. The subjects showed the highest practices in nutrition(3.14. 3.01), and the lowest practices in exercise (2.14, 1.92). 3. The mean HPLP score of Korean elderly was 2.63, showing significant relationships with age. education and economic status. the score of Korean-American elderly was 2.54, showing significant relationships with education. 4. Self-esteem score of Korean elderly was 2.72 and Korean-American elderly was 2.73. there was no significant difference in two groups. The score of self-esteem of Korean-American elderly was showing significant relationships with presence of spouse. 5. Self-efficacy score of Korean elderly was 3.27 and Korean-American elderly was 3.21. there was no significant difference in two groups. The score of self-efficacy of both groups were showed significant relationships with education. 6. The HPLP of Korean and Korean-American elderly showed(r=.24. r= .49) positive correlations with self-esteem had positive correlations with self-efficacy(r=.42. r=.28). To draw concrete resolution for health promotion of Korean and Korean-American elderly. this study suggests followings for future research : 1. Nursing interventions enhancing exercise and stress management of the elderly must be provided. Especially developing and adopting feasible exercise programs for Korean-American elderly is highly needed. 2. Identifying the influences of culture on their practices of health-promoting lifestyle patterns among Korean. Korean-American and other racial elderly groups.
Living in the modern age with well-developed scientific technologies, all of us are enjoying convenient lives because of 'energy'. Korea, poor in resources, is importing a large portion of its energy sources from abroad but energy consumption shows an upward tendency due to the continuing economic growth and the improvement of living conditions. The atomic energy is considered a self-reliant, alternative energy source like our country. However, it is necessary to educate the people on and publicize atomic power generation in the face of the widespread negative recognition that the atomic power plant is a hazardous facility. The study approaches to these matters with a human-friendly and environment-friendly coloring plan in the perspective of environment coloring plan. The study aims to minimize negative images of the atomic power, while highlighting its friendly and positive images so as to enhance the confidence of the people on the atomic power and to create a clean image for the atomic power. For this goal, the study examined and analyzed cases of Japanese nuclear power plants and domestic nuclear power plants, and also carried out an on-site survey in the sites in which nuclear power plants would be constructed to extract concrete colors through the analyses of their natural environment and actual conditions. The study also carried out a survey of residents in the regions to induce their participation, and reflected the survey results to the coloring plan. The study is expected to create a stable and friendly image of the nuclear power plant through materializing its environment-friendly image and remove negative recognition that the people have on the nuclear power plant. It also attempted an external environment-coloring plan a s a strategic means for positive publicity and through this, is expected to ultimately contribute to the creation of the new images of nuclear ower plants.

In various industrial fields and infrastructure based on electronic components, such as communication equipment, transportation, computer networks, and military equipment, the need for electromagnetic pulse shielding has increased. Two methods for applying electromagnetic pulse shielding are effective. The first is construction using shielding materials, such as shielding concrete, shielding doors, and shielding windows. The other is coating shielding paints on non-shielding structures. Electromagnetic pulse shielding paints are made using conductive materials, such as carbon nanotubes, graphite, carbon black, and carbon fiber. In this paint, electromagnetic pulse shielding performance is added to the commonly used water-based paint. In this study, the shielding effectiveness and bonding performance of paints using conductive graphite and carbon black as shielding materials were evaluated to develop electromagnetic pulse shielding inorganic paints. The shielding effectiveness and bonding performance were evaluated by applying six mixtures composed of different kinds and amounts of shielding material. The mixture of conductive graphite and carbon black at a weight ratio of 1:0.2 was the most effective in shielding as 33.6 dB. Furthermore, the mixture produced using conductive graphite only showed the highest bonding performance of 1.06 MPa.
The purpose of this study is to propose the angle-limit of the escape ramp by analyzing the frog behavior characteristics according to the inclination angle of the waterway escape ramp installed in the concrete U-bench plume pipe channel. Forthe experiment, an escape test device was manufactured with the same shape and number of materials applied in the field. And Rana coreana living in paddy wetlands were sel selected. The main behaviors of frogs on the slope were 'jumping', 'crawling' and 'slipping', and afterrecording the behavioralresults according to the inclination angle, statistical analysis was conducted using the chi-square test method. As a result of the analysis, there was no statistically significant difference between 30° and 40°. This result is an evidence for expanding the standard of inclination angle 30° suggested in the 'Guidelines for Installation and Management of Ecological Pathways' to a maximum of 40°. However, further research is required in that the escape ramp targets not only Korean frogs but also various small wild animals. However, considering that various wild animals are affected by artificial canals, additional studies using various target wild animals are needed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of female's Bone Mineral Density after taking herbal medicine. We examined age, sex, marriage, alcohol, smoking, and job of 76 female and their life style related with Osteoporosis. Bone Mineral Density was examined after 1 month (one herbal medicine), 2 months (two herbal medicine), and 3 months (three herbal medicine) between Group I (taking pear extract) and Group II (taking herbal medicine). Bone Mineral Density of Group II after 1 month was increased, but insignificant. Bone Mineral Density was not significantly different between the Group I and Group II after 2 and 3 months. In this study, we can conclude that Bone Mineral Density was increased after 1 month of taking herbal medicine. But we had inaccurate results due to limitations of this study: period of test, accuracy of instrument, impossibility of use young antlers of the deer, and etc. More detailed study should be conducted to yield more concrete results.
The siting process of municipal solid waste treatment facility consists of a structured set of policies that guide the implementation of waste management goals. The main problems of siting process are the social and political context or the community opposition. During the past, the traditional siting process has been obsolete in most pans of the country, so public officials and researchers have tried to experiment with new policies and procedures. A number of controversial issues offer insight into the factors that are related to the local residents opposition to new waste treatment facilities. The purpose of this case study focused on the establishment of criteria in the site selection of waste treatment facilities which can carry out resources recovery. incineration and landfill simultaneously. That is to say. the main points are to make concrete the quantification standards of assignment and take an objective allotment scale according to the assessment factors. The summarized results are as follows; 1. To promote the site selection based on the guideline such as rational. objective and due process of law, it is desirable to inform the local residents the methods of assessment in advance. 2. Totally 20 factors for the site selection are divided into 3 categories such as living environment characteristics, technological location characteristics and socio-economic factors. And the supposed magnitude of weight in all items are equally applied. 3. In regard to 20 assessment factors, the allotment of point is distributed by the specific location characteristics. Namely to make the assessment easily, each factors are set the scale from 1 to 5 points en masse along the data which are acquired in the region.
