  • We suggest AKL(abstract kernel layer) to. the design and implementation of WAP on basis of multi-platform. AKL is running on the various kernel including REX, MS-DOS, MS-Windows, UNIX and LINUX. For the purpose of it, AKL makes machine-dependant features be minimized and supports a consistent interface on API(application program interface) point of views. Therefore, It makes porting times of a device be shorten and makes easy of maintenance. We validated our suggestion as a consequent of porting WAP into PalmV PDA and mobile phone with AKL.

  • Embedded system is used a lot in electric home appliances and home network equipment. However, this system is designed to operate by the system operator directly at home and operator could find out them only when he pays attention to the system in case event happens. In this paper, to improve above things, it designed to remote-control system anywhere in which internet access is possible as well as at home, and also it designed SMS(short message service) information transmission system to inform the errors to the operator when they happen. To design the system, development board(be included the Strong Arm), CDMA module, and electric door lock are used as hardware, and web browser, CGI(common gateway interface) programming, and C-language are used for implementation of software in embedded-linux platform.

  • In this paper. we propose an architecture of IEEE1394 device driver for RTLinux. The device driver has two interfaces for applications running on the RTLinux kernel and Linux kernel. With the interfaces, the device driver simultaneously supports RT-Thread of RTLinux kernel and user level process of Linux kernel. This architecture could be a reference for designing other device driver on the dual kernel platform.

  • 현재 RISCV-VP 시뮬레이션 프로그램은 Linux 환경으로만 존재하며, Windows 환경에서 동작하는 프로그램은 존재하고 있지 않다. 그래서 Linux 환경으로 개발된 RISC-VP(Virtual Platform)를 Windows 환경에서도 사용할 수 있게 Visual Studio 를 사용하여 구축하였다. 또한, Windows VS 환경의 RISCV-VP 프로그램을 통해 머신 러닝 시뮬레이션이 가능하도록 개발 환경을 구축하였다. 이 논문은 위에 설명한 각각의 개발환경 구축에 필요한 구성 방법을 제공한다.

A Common Platform for An Internal-Based Mobile Robot and Its Operator Terminal (인터넷 기반의 이동 로봇과 조종 단말기를 위한 공용 플랫폼 개발)

  • This paper proposes a common platform for an internet-based mobile robot and its operator terminal. The common platform can reduce the cost and time to develop an internet-based robot and its operator terminal. The robot performs the role of a server and its terminal a client. One operator can use this terminal to make a command and this command can be sent to the robot through a wireless network. According to given commands, the robot moves a point and sends an image by using a camera or desired information by using other sensors. The information sent from the robot can help an operator to control the robot. The mobile robot consists of two modules, main module and motion module. Main module can exchange information with the operator terminal, process information, and send a command to motion module. Each application program for one internet-based mobile robot and its operator terminal will be developed to show that the same platform can be used for them. Also, it will be shown that the robot can be controlled easily by using its operator terminal.

  • In this paper, we proposed the remote visual monitoring system on mobile robot platform. The proposed system is composed of ARM9 core PXA255 processor, micro CMOS camera and wireless network and the captured visual image is transmitted via 803.11b/g wireless LAN(WLAN) for remote visual monitoring operations. Robot platform maneuvering command is transmitted via WLAN from host and the $640{\times}480$, $320{\times}240$ pixel fixed visual image is transmitted to host at the rate of $3{\sim}10$ frames per second. Experimental system is implemented on Linux OS base and tested for remote visual monitoring operation and verified the proposed objects.

  • In this paper for developing and implementing the realtime HD level video streaming transmitter which is operated on the multi-platform in all network and client environment compared to the exist video live streaming transmitter. We design the realtime HD level video streaming transmitter supporting the multi-platform using the TMS320DM386 video processor of T.I company and then porting the Linux kernel 2.6.29 and implementing the RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol)/RTP(Real Time Transport Protocol), HLS(Http Live Streaming), RTMP(Real Time Messaging Protocol) that can support the multi-platform of video stream protocol of the received equipments (smart phone, tablet PC, notebook etc.). For proving the performance of developed video streaming transmitter, we make the testing environment for testing the performance of streaming transmitter using the notebook, iPad, android Phone, and then analysis the received video in the client displayer. In this paper, we suggest the developed the Realtime HD(High Definition) level Video Streaming transmitter performance data values higher than the exist products.

  • Embedded System operates hardware installed like processor, memory device, various input/output devices and software to control them. This thesis presents MPU module and Base board which are efficient industrial control through design and manufacture as developing S5PV210 CPU of SAMSUNG used by ARM Cortex-A8 based on Android which is Open mobile platform is installed to embedded system. Data for temperature and humidity which are received by CAN communication module proved the suitability and validity for the embedded platform design as implementing application program employed the native App with Linux Kernel based on the Android OS and application of HTML5.

  • In this study, fire simulations were performed to analyze the characteristics of the fire driven flow and the effects of the platform screen door on the smoke flow in the station, when the fire occurred in the center of the platform. Soongsil Univ. station (line number 7, 47m in depth underground) was chosen which was the one of the deepest underground subway stations in the Seoul metro, SMRT. The parallel computational method was employed to compute the heat and mass transfer eqn's with 6 CPUs of the linux clustering machine. The fire driven flow was simulated with using FDS code in which LES method was applied. The Heat release rate was 10MW and The Ultrafast model was applied for the growing model of the fire source. The 10,000,000 structured grids were used.
