A Process Based Service Identification Methodology for Service Oriented Architecture Construction (SOA 구현을 위한 프로세스 기반 서비스 정의 방법론에 관한 연구)

  • Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) is an enterprise-scale IT architecture for linking software resources available on the network. SOA is believed to become the future enterprise solution that promises the agility and flexibility by integrating business processes through composition of the software services across enterprises. The first step for SOA construction is to identify the services. In this paper, we present a process-based service identification methodology for SOA through a case study of an IT company. Our methodology is composed of three steps: Processes (business & technical processes) analysis and systems analysis, Service candidates selection, and Service evaluation and construction planning. This framework would be practical and could be accepted to other organizations as it has been developed through the real case.

Automotive telematics market segmentation based on quality expectations

  • This paper explores the possibility of segmentation of consumers based on their quality expectations toward the automotive telematics service. Hypotheses on utilizing consumers' expectations toward the automotive telematics service for the market segmentation and linking the segments with optimal product designs are formulated. Samples are segmented based on their perceived service quality to the service attributes from various configurations of automotive telematics service. Then, a regression analysis on the segmented groups of users is performed to check whether they have qualitatively differing evaluation on the service quality. The result indicates that the proposed segmentation is operational and differing product attributes configuration is desirable according to the characteristics of the consumer segment. Hence, according to the characteristics of each consumer segment formed based on their expectation toward the telematics service, a product differentiation strategy of the automotive telematics system can be designed and be proposed to the product line designer.

Citing Pattern Analysis based on Cited-by Linking Data of DOI Journals in the Field of Natural Sciences & Engineering (Cited-by Linking 데이터 기반 자연과학 및 공학 분야 학술논문 인용 패턴 분석)

  • Cited-by Linking Service is one of the CrossRef's information services that allows you to discover how your publications are being cited and to incorporate that information into your online publication platform. This study tries to investigate citation patterns in the field of both Natural Science and Engineering using all of DOI assigned articles and Cited-by Linking data which are accumulated and managed by KISTI. The investigating approach is designed to verify the theory of 1) cognitive accessibility, 2) 'perceived quality and significance' and 3) 'subject relativity'. For cognitive accessibility verification the fulltext language portion of Korean and English between "Cited DOI Source Data" and "NOT Cited DOI Source Data" was compared. For perceived quality and significance verification the availability of the "Cited DOI Source Data" and "NOT Cited DOI Source Data" from SCIE and SCOPUS was employed. For subject relativity DOI data were classified and analysed on the basis of OECD subject classification scheme. Findings are that global citability is closely related to the fulltext language of the articles and their quality and significance. And in the natural science field most of citations are from the same subject categories, while relatively more citations are from other subject categories in the engineering field.

This paper is studied about the connection design of urban-railway service convinced for other metropolis railways forms and propose the base pilot plan of the railway network linking system in Seoul Metropolis.

  • 최근에는 도서관 웹사이트보다는 상용 검색엔진이나 포털사이트를 통해 학술정보 검색서비스를 이용하는 이용자가 많아지고 있다. 링크리졸버는 검색엔진과 도서관 서비스를 연결할 수 있으며, 이용자는 한 번의 클릭으로 소속 도서관에서 구독하고 있는 자료에 접근할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국가과학기술정보센터(NDSL)에서 서비스하고 있는 과학기술정보와 외부의 학술자원을 링킹할 수 있는 링크리졸버를 OpenAPI 형태로 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • Personal information includes information about a living human individual. It is the information identifiable through name, resident registration number, and image, etc. Personal information which is collected by institutions can be wrongfully used, because it contains confidential information of an information object. In order to prevent this, a method is used to remove personal identification elements before distributing and sharing the data. However, even when the identifier such as the name and the resident registration number is removed or changed, personal information can be exposed in the case of a linking attack. This paper proposes a new anonymization technique to enhance data utility. To achieve this, attributes that are utilized in service tend to anonymize at a low level. In addition, the anonymization technique of the proposal can provide two or more anonymized data tables from one original data table without concern about a linking attack. We also verify our proposal by using the cooperative game theory.

  • Polyacrylic rubber (ACM) is well known for its excellent heat resistance and chemical stability. Additionally, its performance can be readily manipulated by modifying its functional groups, rendering it highly attractive to various industries. However, extreme climate changes have necessitated an expansion of the operating temperature range and lifespan of ACM products. This requires the optimization of both the compounding process and functional-group design. Hence, we investigated the relationship between the cross-linking system and mechanical properties of an ACM with a carboxylic cure site. The crosslink density is determined by chemical kinetics according to the structure of additives, such as diamine crosslinkers and guanidine accelerators. This interaction enables the manipulation of the scotch time and mechanical properties of the compound. This fundamental study on the correlation analysis between cross-linking systems, physical properties, and storage stability can provide a foundation for material research aimed at satisfying the increasingly demanding service conditions of rubber products.

  • The study proved the fitness between competitive strategy and service operation strategy of service companies. The competitive strategy of a corporation is a major strategy playing the role of bridge linking both corporate strategy and functional strategy. And it is a choice of method how to win competitors in given area. There have been such a specific methodologies for acquiring competitive advantage as Porters competitive strategy, Miles and Snows adaptive strategy, and Life cycle strategy. But, many scholars have pointed that its more important for high corporate performance to determine the competitive strategy of a corporation fitting the external environment and internal structure. So its needed for successful cost-leadership or differentiation strategy to differentiate organizational function, resources, and various organizational factors. But there have been no methodologies or practical guidelines fitting competitive strategy, corporate structure, and external environment in sprite do service corporations growth. So, the study proved the fitness between competitive strategy and service operation structure in Airlines after selecting service structural elements necessary for strategic management.

The Service Failure of Global Large Distribution Companies: the Failure Factors by Service Marketing Mix (글로벌 대형유통기업의 서비스 실패에 관한 사례 연구: 서비스 마케팅믹스별 실패요인을 중심으로)

  • Purpose: Recently, the managing customer complaints properly has emerged as key source of competitive advantage in the large distribution industry. Effective customer complaint management helps firms minimize service failures and incense the capability to respond to customer's needs. Despite this importance, the in-depth prior study of a firm's service failures is very limited. Therefore, the actual service failure cases of large discount stores in Korea were analyzed in this study, and the types of service failures that occur at the service interface were identified. Method: Specifically, a total of 48,307 cases of customer complaints that have occurred in the past three years were collected from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2018. Using 7 dimensions of service marketing mix. we have classified and analyzed systematically the service failure cases collected. Results: Among the cases of service failures, 34,921 (72.3%) cases were involved with the product factor, followed by 6,152 (12.7%) cases with person factor and 5,392 (11.2%) cases with process factor. Conclusion: By linking the main causes of service failure with the service marketing mix variables, this research presented a more systematic analytic model and verified by applying it to large domestic distribution company. Understanding the main factors affecting customer complaints n the large distribution industry can provide managers useful information and insight who want to achieve an effective customer complaint management.

Construction of Indoor and Outdoor Spatial Information Integration Service System based on Vector Model

  • In order to overcome the problem that outdoor and indoor spatial information service are separately utilized, an integration service system of spatial information that is linked from outdoor to indoor has been implemented. As a result of the study, "0001.xml" corresponding to the file index key value, which is the service connection information in the building information of the destination, was extracted from the prototype verification of the system, the search word of 'Kim AB' was transmitted to the indoor map server and converted from the outdoor map service to the indoor map service through confirmation of the navigation service connected information, using service linkage information and search words of the indoor map service was confirmed that the route was displayed from the entrance of the building to the destination in the building through the linkage search DB (Database) table and the search query. Therefore, through this study was examined the possibility of linking indoor and outdoor DB through vector spatial information integration service system. The indoor map and the map engine were implemented based on the same vector map format as the outdoor map engine, it was confirmed that the connectivity of the map engine can be applied.
