  • 본 논문은 편측식 선형 유도전동기의 추력 및 효율 특성을 향상시키기 위한 설계 방법으로 1차측 이동자의 치 구조의 변화에 따른 편측식 선형 유도전동기의 전자계적 특성을 고찰하였다. 치 구조를 오픈슬롯의 형상과 슬롯의 오픈정도를 달리한 반폐슬롯 형상 4가지로 총 5가지 치 형상으로 나누어 편측식 선형 유도전동기의 슬립에 따른 추력, 수직력, 전류, 역률 및 효율 특성을 계산하였으며 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • 기능적/공간적 통합 원리를 이용하여 기존 Multi-coordinate 드라이브 모듈들을 통합 구현하려는 시도들이 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 선형 유도 구동기에서 에지 효과를 줄이기 위해 개발된, 이동 자장의 방향과 폐자로의 방향이 수직인 횡자속 선형 유도 구동기(TFLIM)를 대상으로 이러한 통합 원리를 이용하여 구동기에 인가되는 3상 입력을 조절하여 공극의 자기 상호 작용에 기인하여 부수적으로 발생되는 흡인력/부상력을 능동적으로 이용할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.(중략)

  • In Linear Induction Motor(LIM), the end effect is caused by the abrupt change in the airgap magnetic reluctance at both ends of the machina Especially, in high speed, it has an adverse effect on various characteristics of LIM such as thrust, efficiency, power factor, etc. In this paper, we analyze the end effect, and describes the method to reduce end effect essentially and decrease the secondary material cost.

  • 본 연구에서는 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 랜덤 수 발생 알고리즘인 LCG(Linear Congruential Generator)대신에 카오스 2중 텐트사상(Tent Mapping)에 의한 저 스위칭 소음 유도모터구동 시스템을 제안하였다. 2중 텐트사상에 의한 랜덤 수 발생을 위해 카오스 발생 영역인 $\lambda=0.99$에서의 2중 텐트사상의 분기도(Bifurcation Diagram)를 사용하였다. 카오스 랜덤수와 3상 기준 정현파는 80C196 마이크로 콘트롤러가 전담하고 있으며, 80C196으로부터 발생된 카오스 랜덤 수에 의하여 MAX038로부터 랜덤 주파수의 삼각파 캐리어가 발생된다. 기계적인 소음이 없는 ECB(Eddy current Brake)를 부하로 사용한 3상 유도모터 구동 장치를 제작하여 본 연구의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • The PRT can be divided into In-Track and On-Board according to propulsion method. In process of In-Track, vehicles driven by LIMs(Linear Induction Motor) which are installed in Guideway. Central Controller, which control whole machine, must control speed and direction of all vehicles. In this case, as vehicle increases, Central Controller will overload. If Central Controller fails, all vehicle stops. To avoid this problem, processing of Central Controller must be distributed. This paper introduces method of Distributed Routing. Method of Distributed Routing will provide safety and efficiency for PRT System.

  • The air gap between electromagnet and guiderail in an EMS-type Maglev vehicle must be maintained within an allowable deviation by controlling the voltage on the magnet. In this type of vehicle, the air gap response is strongly dependent on the structural characteristics of the elevated guideway, such as stiffness, damping and mass. For this reason, the dynamic interaction between the vehicle with electromagnets and the elevated guideway must be understood to ensure safe running. The response of the air gap to guideway characteristics such as mass, stiffness, and damping are analyzed through vehicle tests over different guideways. Through such tests, the design requirements for Maglev vehicles and elevated guideways can be established, improving levitation stability.

  • This paper deals with the slip power recovery system using switch mode converter in the inverter DC side, which recovers slip power of induction machine to AC line with the aid of the boost converter. As a results, the motor speed can be controlled by the duty ratio of boost switch, not by inverter firing angle. This results that the reactive power produced by phase controlled inverter and diode rectifier can be greatly reduced and linear speed regulation can be obtained. Moreover, the harmonic components of line current caused by the commutation in inverter and rectifier can be considerably suppressed. Therefore, most of the problems in conventional system can be solved.

  • This paper presents the characteristics analysis and experiment of the electromagnetic pump using linear induction motor(LIM Pump) which can transfer the molten metals by the electromagnetic force. The characteristics of LIM Pump are analysed solving the magneto-hydro-dynamic(MHD) equation at various magnetic flux. The molten zinc is used in the experiment and the results we compared with the analysis.
