Learning control of a robot manipulator is proposed using the backpropagation neural network. The learning controller is composed of both a linear feedback controller and a neural network-based feedforward controller. The stability analysis of the learning controller is presented. Three energy functions are selected in teaching the neural network controller : 1/2.SIGMA.vertical bar torque error vertical bar $^{2}$, 1/2.SIGMA..alpha. vertical bar position error vertical bar $^{2}$ + .betha. vertical bar velocity error vertical bar $^{2}$ + .gamma. vertical bar acceleration error vertical bar $^{2}$ and learning methods are presented. Simulation results show that the learning controller which is learned to minimize the third energy function performs better than the others in tracking problems. Some properties of the learning controller are discussed with simulation results.
Learning control refers to controllers that learn to improve their performance at executing a given task, based on experience performing this specific task. In a previous work, the authors presented a theory of indirect decentralized learning control based on use of indirect adaptive control concepts employing simultaneous identification and control. This paper extends these results to apply to the indirect repetitive control problem in which a periodic (i.e., repetitive) command is given to a control system. Decentralized indirect repetitive control algorithms are presented that have guaranteed convergence to zero tracking error under very general conditions. The original motivation of the repetitive control and learning control fields was learning in robots doing repetitive tasks such as on an assembly line. This paper starts with decentralized discrete time systems, and progresses to the robot application, modeling the robot as a time varying linear system in the neighborhood of the desired trajectory. Decentralized repetitive control is natural for this application because the feedback control for link rotations is normally implemented in a decentralized manner, treating each link as if it is independent of the other links.

This paper presents the linearized fuzzy modeling technique of nonlinear dynamical system and the stability analysis of fuzzy control system. Firstly, the nonlinear system is partitionized by multiple linear fuzzy subcontrol systems based on fuzzy linguistic variables and fuzzy rules. Secondly, the disturbance adaptaion controllers which guarantee the global asymptotic stability of each fuzzy subsystem by an optimal feedback control law are designed and the stability analysis procedures of the total fuzzy control system using Lyapunov functions and eigenvalues are discussed in detail through a given illustrative example.

This paper describes a model reference adaptive system(MRAS) for speed control of vector-controlled induction motor without a speed sensor. The proposed approach is based on observing the instantaneous torque. The real torque is calculated by sensing stator current and estimated torque is calculated by stator current that is calculated by using estimated rotor speed. The speed estimation error is linearly proportional to error between real torque and estimated torque. The proposed feedback loop has linear component. Furthermore proposed method is robust to parameters variation. The effectiveness is verified by equation and simulation

Recently, ubiquitous computing in being actively researched and one of the main technology in ubiquitous computing environments is recognized as RFID system. The RFID system has much benefits but simultaneously has some problems such as user's privacy violation. In this paper, in order to improve the survivability of its nodes, it should build available simulation surrounding sensor nodes. Also, In the proposed cryptosystems we use a new hash function for user authentication and a stream cipher based on LFSR(Linear Feedback Shift Register) for message encryption and decryption. Moreover, each algorithm is programmed with C language and simulated on IBM-PC system and we analyze the randomness properties of the proposed algorithms by using statistical tests.

Active control of nonlinear vibration of stiffened functionally graded (SFG) cylindrical shell is studied in this paper. The system is subjected to axial and transverse periodic loads in the presence of thermal uncertainty. The material composition is considered to be continuously graded in the thickness direction, also these properties depend on temperature. The relations of strain-displacement are derived based on the classical shell theory and the von Kármán equations. For modeling the stiffeners on the cylindrical shell surface, the smeared stiffener technique is used. The Galerkin method is used to discretize the partial differential equations of motion. Some comparisons are made to validate the SFG model. For suppression of the nonlinear vibration, the linear and nonlinear control strategies are applied. For control objectives, the piezoelectric actuator is attached to the external surface of the shell and the thin ring piezoelectric sensor is attached to the middle internal surface of shell. The effect of PID, feedback linearization and sliding mode control on the suppression of vibration for SFG cylindrical shell is presented.
The translation system is made up of springs, masses and a dashpot. This precise piece of equipment is controlled electro-mechanically by a motor and operating program. The control strategy of the system can be changed by spring stiffness, change of mass, and the damping coefficient of the dashpot. This system proves the necessity and effect of a closed loop control. In this paper, PD control experiments were implemented for the translation system. When the north falter was added on the PD controller, we compared the response characteristics of the two systems. The state feedback controller minimized scalar control gains and the resulting response characteristics of the system were studied using the LQR design. Finally, we improved the response characteristics of the translation system which are rising time, settling time, steady state error, and overshoot LQR was better as compared with PD control.
In this paper an asymmetric hydraulic actuator which consists of single acting cylinder and servo valve is modeled for a quarter car active suspension system. This model regards the force as an internal state rather than a control input. The control input of the model is the sum of oil flows that pass through the valve's orifices. The resulting dynamic equation in the state space ap-pears a feedback connection of a nominal linear time in-variant term with a nonlinear bounded uncertain block. Since this model makes it possible to eliminate the force control phase, analysis and controller design are made straightforward and simple. Well known LQR method is then applied. Simulation and test rig experiment show the effectiveness of this approach in modeling and control.
