Using a computer color image automatic detection algorithm for gastric cancer (컴퓨터 컬러 영상을 이용한 위암 자동검출 알고리즘)

  • This experiment present the automatic detection algorithm of gastric cancer that take second place among all cancers. If an inflammation and a cancer are not examined carefully, early ones have difficulty in being diagnosed as illnesses than advanced ones. For diagnosis of gastric cancer, and progressing cancer in this study, present 4 algorithm. research team extracted an abnormal part in stomach through the endoscope image. At first, decide to use shading technique or not in each endoscope image for study. it make easy distinguish to whether tumor is existing or not by putting shading technique in or eliminate it by the color. Second. By passing image subjoin shading technique to erosion filter, eliminate noise and make give attention to diagnose. Third. Analyzing out a line and fillet graph from image adding surface shade and detect RED value according to degree of symptoms. Fourth. By suggesting this algorithm, that making each patient's endscope image into subdivision graph including RED graph value, afterward revers the color, revealing the position of tumor, this study desire to help to diagnosing gastric, other cancer and inflammation.

Ontology-based Approach to Analyzing Commonality and Variability of Features in the Software Product Line Engineering (소프트웨어 제품 계열 공학의 온톨로지 기반 휘처 공동성 및 가변성 분석 기법)

  • In the Product Line Engineering (PLE), current studies about an analysis of the feature have uncertain and ad-hoc criteria of analysis based on developer’s intuition or domain expert’s heuristic approach and difficulty to extract explicit features from a product in a product line because the stakeholders lack comprehensive understanding of the features in feature modeling. Therefore, this paper proposes a model of the analyzing commonality and variability of the feature based on the Ontology. The proposed model in this paper suggests two approaches in order to solve the problems mentioned above: First, the model explicitly expresses the feature by making an individual feature attribute list based on the meta feature modeling to understand common feature. Second, the model projects an analysis model of commonality and variability using the semantic similarity between features based on the Ontology to the stakeholders. The main contribution of this paper is to improve the reusability of distinguished features on developing products of same line henceforth.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate preservice secondary mathematics teachers' knowledge about graphical representation and provide implications for better mathematics teaching and learning in our schools. For this purpose, sixty-three preservice teachers were selected and given diverse graphical representation problems of y=1, y=x, x=0, $x^2+y^2=1$. All preservice teachers completed two types of questionnaires. First type is about constructing the graphs of the above each equation, and the second one is to make them find the appropriate graphs from given examples of the each equation. The results indicated that all the participant pre service teachers were unable to construct graphs in terms of various dimensions and various direction of coordinate axis. All of the participants represented the graph of each equation on only two-dimensional coordinate system. In addition, some preservice teachers believed that the axis of coordinates have to be x-axis on horizontal line and y-axis on vertical line. From this study, it is implicated that pre service teacher education program needs to provide the experience of representing the graphs of equation in terms of various dimensions and various direction of coordinate axis so as to develop their future students the flexibility and creativity in mathematical thinking especially in the area of space perception.

Progressive Reconstruction of 3D Objects from a Single Freehand Line Drawing (Free-Hand 선화로부터 점진적 3차원 물체 복원)

  • This paper presents a progressive algorithm that not only can narrow down the search domain in the course of face identification but also can fast reconstruct various 3D objects from a sketch drawing. The sketch drawing, edge-vertex graph without hidden line removal, which serves as input for reconstruction process, is obtained from an inaccurate freehand sketch of a 3D wireframe object. The algorithm is executed in two stages. In the face identification stage, we generate and classify potential faces into implausible, basis, and minimal faces by using geometrical and topological constraints to reduce search space. The proposed algorithm searches the space of minimal faces only to identify actual faces of an object fast. In the object reconstruction stage, we progressively calculate a 3D structure by optimizing the coordinates of vertices of an object according to the sketch order of faces. The progressive method reconstructs the most plausible 3D object quickly by applying 3D constraints that are derived from the relationship between the object and the sketch drawing in the optimization process. Furthermore, it allows the designer to change viewpoint during sketching. The progressive reconstruction algorithm is discussed, and examples from a working implementation are given.

Analysis of the influence of food-related social issues on corporate management performance using a portal search index

  • Analyzing on-line consumer responses is directly related to the management performance of food companies. Therefore, this study collected and analyzed data from an on-line portal site created by consumers about food companies with issues and examined the relationships between the data and the management performance. Through this process, we identified consumers' awareness of these companies obtained from big data analysis and analyzed the relationship between the results and the sales and stock prices of the companies through a time-series graph and correlation analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the result of the text mining analysis suggests that consumers respond more sensitively to negative issues than to positive issues. Second, the emotional analysis showed that companies' ethics issues (Enterprise 3 and 4) have a higher level of emotional continuity than that of food safety issues. It can be interpreted that the problem of ethical management has great influence on consumers' purchasing behavior. Finally, In the case of all negative food issues, the number of word frequency and emotional scores showed opposite trends. As a result of the correlation analysis, there was a correlation between word frequency and stock price in the case of all negative food issues and also between emotional scores and stock price. Recently, studies using big data analytics have been conducted in various fields. Therefore, based on this research, it is expected that studies using big data analytics will be done in the agricultural field.

The Development of an Instrument for the Measurement of Science Process Skills Using Line Graphs (그래프를 이용한 과학 탐구 능력 검사 도구의 개발)

  • The improvement of process skills has been one of the most important goals in secondary science education. To achieve this goal, it is essential to develop an instrument for evaluating inquiry skills in addition to improving science curricula, inquiry teaching methods, and other educational environment. There are a lot of instruments in testing science process skills in Korea as well as America and Europe. However, it has been difficult to find the instruments that have a characteristic in content and form. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and reliable instrument for evaluating science process skills using line graph. This study examined the whole body of scientific process and identified 6 component skills. Three or four items for each component process skills were developed and revised by pilot test and field test. The instrument is considered valid and reliable, for the content validity is 78% and the reliability(KR-20) is 0.82. The discrimination index is 0.57 and difficulty index is 0.47, which also suffice the criteria of good test.

  • This paper describes parallel event-driven remote IT convergence applications which are a combination of traditional industry and IT Technology including advanced communication. In IT convergence system, events can occur currently from many sensors of devices or users. And IT convergence system must have a parallel processing method. In this paper, the parallel processing method was implemented using a thread and we developed a connection method between a device and a mode of communication which is a wireless communication or a power line communication. In addition to that, we developed object modeling, device, user and event modeling, based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language) using object-oriented modeling method. To efficiently show results in real time, systems provide various graphic user interfaces such as a bar graph, a table, and a combination of the two.

Development of Improved String Model for Instruments with Anjok (안족이 있는 악기의 개선된 현의 모델 개발)

  • In this paper, we describe characteristics of a movable bridge called the Anjok and propose an improved string model which has delay line controller in physical modeling of the Gayageum. Movable bridge, the Anjok determines the length of vibrating string and transmits the vibration of each string to the body of the Gayageum. We analyze the variations in frequency domain and implement the Anjok model as parametric form using the first-order polynomial fitting in logarithmic scale graph, because the length of string changes fundamental frequency. In order to implement the Anjok model, frequency fitting, tension fitting and frequency fitting using leaky integrator are used. The frequency fitting using leaky integrator has the best results among those. Proposed string model with the Anjok model can represent real tuning system of the real Gayageum and the proposed model could synthesize sounds which is similar to original sounds.

Proposal of Analysis Method for Biota Survey Data Using Co-occurrence Frequency

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a new method of analysis focusing on interconnections between species rather than traditional biodiversity analysis, which represents ecosystems in terms of species and individual counts such as species diversity and species richness. This new approach aims to enhance our understanding of ecosystem networks. Utilizing data from the 4th National Natural Environment Survey (2014-2018), the following eight taxonomic groups were targeted for our study: herbaceous plants, woody plants, butterflies, Passeriformes birds, mammals, reptiles & amphibians, freshwater fishes, and benthonic macroinvertebrates. A co-occurrence frequency analysis was conducted using nationwide data collected over five years. As a result, in all eight taxonomic groups, the degree value represented by a linear regression trend line showed a slope of 0.8 and the weighted degree value showed an exponential nonlinear curve trend line with a coefficient of determination (R2) exceeding 0.95. The average value of the clustering coefficient was also around 0.8, reminiscent of well-known social phenomena. Creating a combination set from the species list grouped by temporal information such as survey date and spatial information such as coordinates or grids is an easy approach to discern species distributed regionally and locally. Particularly, grouping by species or taxonomic groups to produce data such as co-occurrence frequency between survey points could allow us to discover spatial similarities based on species present. This analysis could overcome limitations of species data. Since there are no restrictions on time or space, data collected over a short period in a small area and long-term national-scale data can be analyzed through appropriate grouping. The co-occurrence frequency analysis enables us to measure how many species are associated with a single species and the frequency of associations among each species, which will greatly help us understand ecosystems that seem too complex to comprehend. Such connectivity data and graphs generated by the co-occurrence frequency analysis of species are expected to provide a wealth of information and insights not only to researchers, but also to those who observe, manage, and live within ecosystems.

Simulation of Ceramic Powder Injection Molding Process to Clarify the Change of Sintering Shrinkage Depending on Flow Direction (유동방향과 밀도이방성 분석을 위한 세라믹 분말사출성형 해석)

  • This study has focused on manufacturing technique of powder injection molding of watch case made from zirconia powder. A series of computer simulation process was applied to prediction of the flow pattern in the inside of the mould to clarifying the change of sintering shrinkage depended on flow direction. The material properties of melted feedstock inclusive of the PVT graph and thermal viscosity flowage properties were measured for obtaining the input data in computer simulation. Also, molding experiment was conducted and the results of experiment showed that good agreement with simulation results for flow pattern and weld line location. On the other hand, gravity and inertia effect have an influence on velocity of melt front because of high density of ceramic powder particles in powder injection molding against the polymer injection molding process. In the experiment, the position of melt front was compared with upper gate and lower gate position. The gravity and inertia effect could be confirmed in the experimental results.
