IoT devices are interconnected in global network with different functionalities and manage the data transfer in cloud computing. IoT devices can be used anytime, anywhere with any device with different applications and protocols. Same devices but different applications according to end user requirements such as sensors and Wi-Fi devices, reusability of these applications can enhance the development process. However, large number of variations in cloud computing make it difficult the features selection in application because of compatibility issues of devices. In this paper we have proposed multi-Software Product Lines (multi-SPLs) approach to manage the variabilities and commonalities of IoT applications and protocols. Feature modeling is used to manage the commonalities and variabilities of SPL. We proposed that multi-SPLs feature model is more appropriate for modeling of IoT applications and protocols.
Experimental study is conducted to clarify pressure variation of the passenger cabin of conventional train. These pressure variation may give rise to the ear-discomfort. Generally ear-discomfort has been considered as a problem related to high speed train. Because there is also a good progress to speed-up for conventional line, this isn't only a phenomena related to high speed train any longer. In this study, tile pressure variation of interior, gangway and exterior of saemaeul passenger car is measured using the atmospheric pressure sensors in Honam line. From the results of experiment, the pressure variation per second almost close in upon the limitation in the case of Noryong tunnel. Therefore, to accomplish speed-up for conventional train, it may be necessary to study a serial ventilating and the airtightness of carbody.
This paper is described the development of on-line partial discharge detector for high voltage apparatus. This detector consists of acoustic and high frequency current sensors, amplifier part, A/D converter part, data communication part and computer. The contents of paper are characteristics of units and digital signal processing for reducing noise in partial discharge detection. We seek methods to do good digital signal processing for detection of partial discharge. We apply digital filtering methods to the elect Tic signal and a cross con-elation to the acoustic signal. This paper shows the characteristics of these filtering method and cross con-elation in partial discharge detection.
In this paper, we newly developed a byte-inverted transmission method for flicker-free visible light communication (VLC). The VLC transmitter sends original data in the former half period of the clock, and inverted data and in the latter half period of the clock. The VLC receiver receives the original data in the in the former half period of the clock. In this system, we used 480Hz clock that was generated from the 60Hz power line. The average optical power of the LED array in the transmitter is constant, thus flicker-free, in the observation time longer than the period of the clock that is about 2ms. This period is shorter than the maximum flickering time period (MFTP) of 5ms that is generally considered to be safe. This configuration is very useful in constructing indoor wireless sensor networks using LED light because it is flicker-free and does not require additional transmission channel for clock transmission.

This paper presents the design and manufacturing of a sensor using SAW and delay line in order to measure temperature. SAW sensors having single and double electrodes are manufactured on the $128^{\circ}YX-LiNbO_3$ substrate, and its process is addressed. Before manufacturing, the device is simulated using a commercial finite element program. The frequency responses of the saw sensor on the temperature change is measured. Since the center frequency on the temperature change from $-30^{\circ}C$ to $80^{\circ}C$ is linearly changed, the saw sensor is applicable to measure the temperature change or strain variation.

Recently, the progress of industrialization has been taken concern of material handling automation. So for, the conveyor belt has been popular for material handling. However, this system has many disadvantages such as the space, cost, etc. In this paper, a new navigation algorithm using fuzzy is introduced. The mobile robot follows a line installed on the roads. These informations are inputted with three approximate sensors. These obtained informations are analyzed with fuzzy control technique fur autonomous steering. Therefore, unlike existing systems, high reliability is guaranteed under bad environment conditions. The installation and maintenance of a line is easily made at lower cost. This developed mobile robot can be applied to material handling automation in manufacturing system, hospital, inter-office document del ivory.
This paper deals with design and implementation of the controller for optically guided AGV. When AGV has only three photo sensors in front of body, AGV doesn't know how much the entry angle to guide line is. In this case, it is difficult to compensate the tracking error. To make sure that the AGV does not secede the guide line in tracking, PI controller and fuzzy logic controller is proposed. The proposed controller was verified and experienced through real AGV system.

This paper outlines a framework for a diagnosis of a complex system with uncertain information. Sensor validation ploys a vital role in the ability of the overall system to correctly determine the state of a system monitored by imperfect sensors. Here, emphases are put on the heuristic technology and post-processor for reasoning. Heuristic Sensor Validation (HSV) exploits deeper knowledge about parameter interaction within the plant to cull sensor faults from the data stream. Finally the modified probability distributions and validated data are used as input to the reasoning scheme which is the runtime version of the influence diagram. The output of the influence diagram is a diagnostic mapping from the symptoms or sensor readings to a determination of likely failure modes. Once likely failure modes are identified, a detailed diagnostic knowledge base suggests corrective actions to improve performance. This framework for a diagnostic expert system with sensor validation and reasoning under uncertainty applies in $HEATXPRT^{TM}$ a data-driven on-line expert system for diagnosing heat rate degradation problems in fossil power plants [1].

To guarantee the safety and reliability of obsolete thermal power plants, on site routine patrol in their facilities has been done by human workers. Due to their poor working environments, however, a patrol robot system has been gradually required instead of the human workers from the viewpoint of the workers' safety and work efficiency. For this purpose, this paper presents a patrol robot, controllers, and its control scheme. Especially, this robot system uses a line tracing algorithm, which uses a vision camera instead of IR sensors, and an RFID system for its patrol operation. We confirmed its effectiveness through experiments.
Parameter estimation method of induction motor for vector control is presented in this paper. It can be easily implemented and applied to inverters in the industrial field, because it needs no additional hardware such as voltage sensors and measuring equipment. The proposed algorithm in this paper is so straightforward and practical that it can be easily implemented on the built-in controllers with little overhead. The proposed estimation algorithm has good accuracy and repeatability for parameters due to the sensitivity of estimation errors. This enables its total consuming time to be made shorter. Experimental results and applications in the industrial fields verify the validity and usefulness of the proposed method.
