한국적인 맛 관련 소비자 식태도 성향 분류 척도 개발 (Developing an Attitude Scale for Korean Style Flavors)

  • The consumer acceptance of food is not only affected by the sensory characteristics of food but also by the non-food factors, including food experience, consumption frequency, and food attitudes. Therefore, food attitude scales such as the food neophobic scale, VARSEEK scale, Dutch restrained eating scale, health taste attitude scale, etc. have been developed and effectively used to predict consumer liking and behaviors. Since the globalization of Korean food is currently one of the hottest topics in the Korean food industry, the aim of this study was to identify the tastes and flavors that may represent Korean cuisine. Additionally, an attitudinal scale for Korean taste and flavors was developed, which can then be utilized to predict a consumer's liking of Korean food. In the first stage of the experiment, the representative taste and flavors of Korean cuisine was surveyed by a Korean culinary expert group (n=23) and general consumers (n=62). As a result of these surveys, 4 types of flavors, hot pepper flavor, 'goso' flavor, garlic flavor, and fermented flavor were shown to be the most representative flavors of Korean cuisine. Based on these results, the second stage of the experiment was carried out to develop an attitudinal scale for Korean style flavors. Eleven to 17 questionnaires were developed for each of the 4 types of flavors. The survey consisted of a total of 53 questionnaires and 154 female consumers and 158 male consumers participated in the survey. The data was analyzed by factor analysis. For each type of flavor, the final attitudinal questionnaires were selected based on the following criteria: 1. high absolute factor loading value, 2. carrying clear meaning of the corresponding flavor attitude, and 3. delivering the meaning sufficiently when translated into other language. The final Korean style flavor attitude scale consisted of 7 hot pepper flavor, 6 'goso' flavor, 6 garlic flavor, and 7 fermented flavor questionnaires. In the next step of this study, experiments will be carried out to validate the Korean style flavor attitude scale.

The Predictive Strength of Students' Self-Efficacy, Problem Solving Skills to Perform Catheter Care

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the predictive strength of students' self-efficacy, problem-solving skills, and other characteristics in performing intravenous practices and monitor phlebitis and infiltration. Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out with 736 third and fourth-year students studying at the Health Sciences Faculties of Balikesir and Sakarya universities. The data were collected using the Self-Efficacy Scale, Problem-Solving Inventory and Catheter Care and Infiltration Monitoring Questionnaire. Results: The participants' mean Catheter Care and Infiltration Monitoring Questionnaire score significantly and positively correlated with their mean Self-Efficacy Scale score on a moderate level (r=.25; p<.001) but significantly and negatively correlated with their mean Problem-Solving Inventory score on a moderate level (r=-.21; p<.001). In other words, because a low Problem-Solving Inventory score indicates that the person's problem-solving skill is high, the Care and Infiltration Monitoring Questionnaire score increased as the problem-solving skill increased. While the Self-Efficacy Scale predicted the year of study and catheter care and infiltration monitoring variables positively, the Problem-Solving Inventory predicted the satisfaction with the profession variable negatively. Conclusion: Self-efficacy, problem-solving, liking the profession, and year of study predict success in catheter care and infiltration monitoring. For this reason, guidance may be provided in the development of a comprehensive education system toward increasing students' problem-solving skills, self-efficacy, and professional knowledge and skills.

  • This study began with the expectation that work spirituality according to self - sacrificing leadership of a company recognized by hotel employees could positively affect superior liking and innovation behavior. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; the exercise of authority and the self - sacrifice in reward distribution are very important in the social exchange relationship. And the experience of joy and meaning, which is a behavior that meets the values, showed that it fulfilled the sense of accomplishment that the employees realized as a value, and it increased the satisfaction of pursuing the value of the boss and participating in and contributing to the world. Moreover, the hotel employees were likely to favor the bosses when they gave up or refrained from their authority or delegated to their subordinates, or when their bosses delayed or gave up rewards that had to be distributed to them. Also, self-sacrifice on the supervisor's job assignment is considered as an essential part of inducing the innovative behavior of the subordinates, regarded as desirable behavior or qualities.

웹 매핑을 위한 융합 맵서버의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Fusion Map Server for Web Mapping)

  • 웹 매핑 환경에서 사용자가 요구하는 공간 데이터가 다수의 데이터 서버에 저장되어 있는 경우에, 하나 이상의 맵서버로 접근하여 데이터를 획득하고 그 결과를 통합해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 웹 매핑을 위해 융합 맵서버를 설계하고 구현한다. 제안된 융합 맵서버는 다음과 같은 세 가지의 특징을 가진다. 첫째, 다양한 사용자의 요구를 반영하기 위해 메타데이터를 개별화한다. 이를 이용하여 사용자는 자신이 원하는 형태의 통합 데이터를 획득할 수 있다. 둘째, 공간 데이터와 비공간 데이터의 통합을 지원하기 위하여 융합 서비스 개념을 도입한다. 마지막으로 이러한 융합 서비스를 보다 효율적으로 지원하기 위하여 동적 링킹 방법을 사용하여 실체화한다. 제안된 맵서버의 구현을 위하여 Publisher 클라이언트 맵서버 융합 맵서버를 각각 설계하고 구현하였으며 그 결과를 보인다.

학령기 후기 아동의 삶의 의미에 대한 아동과 부모의 인식 비교: 혼합적 연구 방법 적용 (Comparison of the Meaning of Life between Older School-age Children and Their Parents: A Mixed-methods Analysis)

  • Purpose: This mixed-methods study was conducted to compare and analyze the perceptions of children and their parents regarding the meaning of the children's life. Methods: First, children's and parents' perceptions of the meaning of life were analyzed using a quantitative approach, and the cognitive differences between children and parents were then confirmed through a qualitative approach. We integrated the collected data comprehensively. Results: Ten significant differences (awareness of strong points, recognizing oneself as a precious being, relationships with friends, happy memories, liking people, experiencing difficulty, dreams and goals, experiencing love, appreciating life, helping people who are poorer than me) were identified between children and parents. The results of the content analysis of the qualitative data were divided into two variables: children's experiences of the meaning of life (78 significant statements, 32 sub-themes, and 10 themes) and parents' perceptions of the meaning of life of their children (89 significant statements, 36 sub-themes, and 10 themes). Conclusion: Based on these results, we propose developing meaning-centered intervention programs for children and parents and applying them for educational purposes. By doing so, we expect that meaning-centered education for elementary school students will become more active.

한.미 20대 소비자의 여성 정장과 캐주얼시장 세분화를 위한 글로벌 마케팅 전략 (Global Market Segmentation Strategy: A Comparison of Evaluation toward womens formal wear and casual wear among Korean and American consumers in 20s)

  • The purpose of this research was to compare American Korean consumers perceptions or evaluations of womens formal wear and casual wear. Results revealed that two groups classified differently the products in formal wear, not casual wear. In general, compared to Korean subjects, Americans rated the Korean business formal wear as more fashionable, attractive, stylish and of having higher quality than U.S. formal wear, indicating they were more likely to purchase. On the other hand, compared to U.S. subjects, in general, Koreans rated higher the U.S. casual wear as more liking, purchasing, comfortable, and appealing than Korean casual wear. Regarding clothing image toward each picture, there was a statically difference in both groups. To increase American or Korean exports of apparels, companies must look globally to develop new markets for their products.

도시 거주자의 주생활 양식에 관한 연구 - 거주자 제속성 및 주거 유형을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Housing Life-style of Urban residents)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the housing life-style shown in the modern housing life by dweling types and residents attributes to suggest the basic information useful for the housing P3an in the future, The results of this study was summarized as folldws. Firstly. interrelation between residents attributes and housing life-style showed that the unedicated, the low income and the eldery were interested in utility. On the other hand, the educated. the upper income and the young generation were interested in decoration. Secondly those who had their own houses and never moved were interested inutility in terms of residents attributes Utility was showed high in all housing style in terms of before moving in house. Thirdly, those who wanted move and stay both interested in decoration and utility in terms of will of resident. It was also shown that those who wanted to move big cities were interested in increasing property. Fourthly, the housing life-style by dwelling types showed that it was Possible to abtain six elements such as 'decoration', 'display'. 'liking'. 'utility', 'increase of property', and 'hiearchic order' Based on the average by each type, it was shown that while a tendency toward utility was generally high, especially, the many-storied apartment was high for display.

  • 1) Objective External treatments have various curative effects. So it had been used to cure various patients. But, it has a limited sphere of application in the present South Korea. And the ${\ulcorner}$Li-Yao-Pian-Won${\lrcorner}$ had been written by Wu-Shang-Xian(吳尙先) in 1864. The book is the first technical book of external treatments. So, he has been held in respected as the father of external treatments by many people. Therefore we would like to bring out it’s external treatments theory 2) Conclusions Wu-Shang-Xian(吳尙先) had insisted that external treatments principles are identical with internal treatments. So, prescriptions of external treatment are selected and made by principles of internal treatment. (1) The factors of determination external treatment’s methods are focus (meridian, inside and outside etc.), attribute of diseases, patient’s liking. (2) The treatment regions are decided by meridian theory, diseases region and external treatment’s methods.

영미문화 교육에 대한 교사의 인식 연구 (English teachers' perception of teaching English culture)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate what English teachers think about what and how to teach culture, as a way of helping students build relevant background knowledge and enhance their motivation in learning English. A total of 300 teachers completed a self-report questionnaire in four areas: (i) their understanding and liking of English-spoken countries, (ii) their use of materials and tools for teaching culture, (iii) their consciousness of teaching culture, and (iv) their needs for culture learning in the teacher-training program. The results show that (i) they think American culture is dominant in EFL but they are much interested in British culture; (ii) they rely on internet most for their cultural experience while they think students get much of the cultural information from textbooks; (iii) they are very much conscious of the importance of teaching culture for improving students' English proficiency; (iv) they want to learn in the teacher training program more about cultural practice, which can be subsumed under the so called 'small c'. The findings suggest that (i) textbooks need to include contents to promote students' cultural awareness and foster intercultural competence, (ii) teachers should use authentic materials with appropriate adaptation, and (iii) a teacher training program should cover a wide range of contents and skills for teaching culture.

고등학교 통합교과형 논술교육에 대한 실태와 교사의 인식 (A Study on Realities and Teachers' Perception of Integrated-subject Essay Education in High School)

  • The purpose of this study was to study on realities and teachers' perception of Integrated-subject essay education in high school. Based upon teachers' perception, literature research and interview on integrated-subject essay education, measures to promote integrated-subject essay education in high school as follows. First, focused on realities of integrated-subject essay education, it is desirable that integrated-subject essay start from the first grade. Second, focused on objectives of integrated-subject essay education, it is desirable that integrated-subject essay education and assessment be executed to meet students' demand. Third, focused on contents of integrated-subject essay education, if high school teachers participate in essay examination questions and marking exams and essay examination questions is set within range of high school curriculum, it will contribute to normalizing public education. Fourth, focused on methods of integrated-subject essay education, teachers have to reconsider active perceptions to take a specialized essay training and to reduce a heavy workload to teachers, to develop guide book for integrated-subject essay education, to consult integrated-subject essay class, to develop specialized essay training program liking universities, to construct a specialized classroom for team teaching and debate class, to reduce students per class etc. are required. Fifth, focused on effects of integrated-subject essay education, it is desirable that integrated-subject essay education be executed for all students and in all subjects.
