굳지 않은 경량골재 콘크리트의 공기량, 유동성 및 블리딩 특성 (Air Content, Workability and Bleeding Characteristics of Fresh Lightweight Aggregate Concrete)

  • 굳지 않은 경량골재 콘크리트의 다양한 특성에 대한 경량굵은골재 최대크기와 천연모래 치환율의 영향을 평가하기 위해 15배합의 경량골재 콘크리트가 배합되었다. 또한 굳지 않은 경량골재 콘크리트의 유동특성에 영향을 줄 수 있는 경량골재의 내부구조와 공극의 분포 및 시간에 따른 흡수 특성 등이 측정되었다. 실험 결과 경량골재 콘크리트의 초기 슬럼프는 천연 모래 치환율이 증가할수록 감소하였으며, 전경량 콘크리트의 슬럼프는 배합 후 30~60분 사이에 초기 슬럼프의 80%가 감소하였다. 경량골재 콘크리트의 공기량과 블리딩 량은 경량굵은골재 최대크기와 천연 모래 치환율에 중요한 영향을 받았다. 경험식인 ACI 211과 콘크리트표준시방서는 경량골재 콘크리트의 공기량을 과소평가 하였으며, 천연 모래 치환율의 감소할수록 그 과소평가 정도는 증가하였다. 이 연구에 의해 제안된 경량골재 콘크리트의 공기량과 블리딩율에 대한 예측모델은 실험 결과와 잘 일치하였다.

  • Among the disposal techniques of inorganic wastewater sludges from industries most of sludges were dealed with buring underground inefficiently. But we have tried to recycle the resources that exhausted inorganic sludges were properly blended to certain ratioes to make lightweight aggregate, that means manufacturing of it can be possible through blending of various components, drying, sintering, cooling and crushing to certain sizes that are needed by consumers. As disposal method of inorganic wastewater sludge is changed to environmentally fraternative method, this method could be very useful to make lightweight aggregates for decoration of building and the other so many purposes of those usages. That could be economically useful due to expected income for buring costs of ordinary disposal method form industries and sales income after manufacturing it. The second important profit is saving foreign currency from purchasing self-developed lightweight aggregate insteas of importing expensive foreign product. This product will be also very impressive to user because of the fraternative lightweight to be composed of apatite structure that is important part of human body.

Discrete element numerical simulation of dynamic strength characteristics of expanded polystyrene particles in lightweight soil

  • A dynamic triaxial discrete element numerical model of lightweight soil was established using the discrete element method to study the microscopic mechanism of expanded polystyrene (EPS) particles in the soil under cyclic loading. The microscopic parameters of the discrete element model of the lightweight soil were calibrated depending on the dynamic triaxial test hysteresis curves. Based on the calibration results, the effects of the EPS particles volume ratio and amplitude on the contact force, displacement field, and velocity field of the lightweight soil under different accumulated strains were studied. The results showed that the hysteresis curves of lightweight soil exhibit nonlinearity, hysteresis, and strain accumulation. The strain accumulated in remolded soil is mainly tensile strain, and that in lightweight soil is mainly compressive strain. As the volume ratio of EPS particles increased, the contact force first increased and then decreased, and the displacement and velocity of the particles increased accordingly. With an increase in amplitude, the dynamic stress of the particle system increased, and the accumulation rate of the dynamic strain of the samples also increased. At 5% compressive strain, the contact force of the particles changed significantly and the number of particles deflected in the direction of velocity also increased considerably. These results indicated that the cemented structure of the lightweight soil began to fail at a compressive strain of 5%. Thus, a compressive strain of 5% is more reasonable than the dynamic strength failure standard of lightweight soil.

도로성토체로 사용된 실트질 계열의 경랑기포혼합토에 대한 물의 영향 (Effect of Water on the Lightweight Air-Mixed Soil Containing Silt Used for Road Embankment)

  • 본 연구는 특별히 물과 관련된 실트질 계열의 경량기포혼합토(기포슬러리밀도 10kN/$m^3$ 대상)의 특성변화를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 일축압축강도, 투수계수, 모관상승고 등에 대한 연구가 이루어졌으며, 이들 연구를 뒷받침할 수 있는 경량기포혼합토의 미세구조에 대한 연구도 아울러 진행되었다. 사진을 통한 미세 구조 분석 결과 경량기포혼합토 내의 기포는 다양한 크기로 존재하며, 위치별 기포의 분포는 거의 일정한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 기포 안에 아주 많은 미세한 공극들이 존재하여 물에 의해 경량기포혼합토가 포화상태에 가까이 도달될 수 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이미지를 이용한 간극률 산정도 같이 이루어졌다. 일축압축강도 시험 결과, 물에 의한 극한강도 값의 변화는 없으나 응력-변형거동에는 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 경량기포혼합토의 투수계수는 평균 $4.857{\times}10^{-6}cm/sec$로 점토보다는 약간 큰 값을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 경량기포혼합토의 모관상승은 시험초기부터 100분 이내에는 가파르게 진행되고, 그 이후 경과시간에 따라 상승속도가 점진적으로 완만하게 진행됨을 알 수 있다. 모관상승은 곧 재료의 단위중량 증가를 유발하므로 경량기포혼합토의 설계와 유지관리 시 각별한 주의가 요구된다.

A new lightweight network based on MobileNetV3

  • The MobileNetV3 is specially designed for mobile devices with limited memory and computing power. To reduce the network parameters and improve the network inference speed, a new lightweight network is proposed based on MobileNetV3. Firstly, to reduce the computation of residual blocks, a partial residual structure is designed by dividing the input feature maps into two parts. The designed partial residual structure is used to replace the residual block in MobileNetV3. Secondly, a dual-path feature extraction structure is designed to further reduce the computation of MobileNetV3. Different convolution kernel sizes are used in the two paths to extract feature maps with different sizes. Besides, a transition layer is also designed for fusing features to reduce the influence of the new structure on accuracy. The CIFAR-100 dataset and Image Net dataset are used to test the performance of the proposed partial residual structure. The ResNet based on the proposed partial residual structure has smaller parameters and FLOPs than the original ResNet. The performance of improved MobileNetV3 is tested on CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100 and ImageNet image classification task dataset. Comparing MobileNetV3, GhostNet and MobileNetV2, the improved MobileNetV3 has smaller parameters and FLOPs. Besides, the improved MobileNetV3 is also tested on CPU and Raspberry Pi. It is faster than other networks

  • Among common test methods of assessing structure safety for existing lightweight walls, the criteria of the quality assessment of the horizontal static load resistance has been considered ambiguous. In the current study, therefore, an experiment was conducted to figure out the standardized assessment criteria of the lightweight wall's horizontal static load resistance. Based on the findings of the experiment with gypsum board and ALC block walls, an acceptable amount of each standard and the variables of the stud wall arising from the appropriate load (1000N) on the wall in a daily life were accounted for, arbitrarily setting the maximum deformation amount below 15mm.

  • Worldwide refinery industry is a large amount of sulfur is produced by development. what that sulfur, it is produced through the desulfurization process and sulfur recover process. And it is made with the liquid state or solid-state. Also, the trend for structure is being changed from wall construction to rhamen construction. The amount of lightweight panels uesd in rhamen construction is also increasing. Therefore, In this study, it is intended to study density and absorption rate of the blast furnace slag lightweight material by using a sulfur lowered melting point. The plain has highest density and the density is lower when adding modified sulfur more. The plain has the lowest absorption and the absorption is higher according to adding modified sulfur more.

  • The lightweight foamed concrete is superior to properties of insulation and light-weight because it is included in many inner pore. So, lightweight foamed concrete used to construction field that need to property of insulation. The property of insulation of lightweight foamed concrete is varied with density. Also, Density is varied with hardening matrix and pore rate. The purpose of the experiment is to know thermal properties of specimen according to the change of density when heating the specimen. As a result of this experiment, the higher density, the lower temperature of mold. this tendency isn't same as ordinary lightweight foamed concrete, and then density 0.9 is expressed most low temperature result also the discontinuity of shape of mold was efficient for the prevention of the temperature rise.

Recent Developments of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell Design

  • PEMFC has high potential for future development due to its high energy density, eco-friendliness, and high energy efficiency. When it becomes small, light and flexible, it can be competitive as an energy source for portable devices or flexible electronic devices. However, the use of hard and heavy materials for structural rigidity and uniform contact pressure transmission has become an obstacle to reducing the weight and flexibility of PEMFCs. This review intends to provide an example of the application of a new structure and material for lightweight and flexibility. As a lightweight PEMFC, a tubular design is presented and structural advantages through numerical modeling are explained. Manufacturing methods to realize the structural advantages and possibilities of tubular PEMFCs are discussed. In addition, the materials and manufacturing processes used to fabricate lightweight and flexible PEMFCs are described and factors affecting performance are analyzed. Strategies and structural improvements of light and flexible movements are discussed according to the component parts.

  • 현대의 구조물은 고층화, 대형화 되어가는 추세이다. 보통중량 콘크리트는 강도에 비해 질량이 크기 때문에 구조물의 자중을 증가시킨다는 단점이 있다. 그러므로, 추세에 맞는 콘크리트의 경량화가 필요한 실정이다. 콘크리트의 경량화 방법 중 하나가 경량골재를 사용한 경량골재 콘크리트이다. 하지만, 국내에서는 경량골재 콘크리트에 대한 인식부족으로 인하여 구조용 경량골재 콘크리트에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 경량골재 콘크리트에 사용되는 경량골재의 품질에 따라 콘크리트의 물성 및 강도에 대한 검증이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 보통골재와 경량골재를 사용한 콘크리트를 제작하고 인장균열파괴실험을 통해 하중-CMOD곡선은 얻고, 이를 역해석하여 파괴에너지를 도출하였다.
