정신질환자 자녀들의 건강관련 삶의 질 (The Health-related Quality of Life for Children with a Mentally Ill Parent)

  • Purpose: This study is aimed to identify the health-related quality of life for children with a mentally ill parent. Methods: The 13 participants were school-aged children whose parents were registered at the D Regional Mental Health Welfare Center. Data were collected using one-on-one interview with illustration cards and analyzed by content analysis. Results: The participants were living a difficult life in anxiety amid a reversal of parent-child role, such as doing housework and taking care of their parents. The study revealed a love-hate family relationship that the participants wanted parental recognition and attention but they were frustrated by insufficient parental care and sibling conflict. Nevertheless, they only had each other themselves to trust and rely on. Their mixed health awareness and negative emotions were influenced by parents. Some of participants were exposed to dangerous environment such as domestic violence, and they need support system for help in difficult situations. Sometimes they felt happy by satisfying physiological, social, and self-esteem needs. They also showed a positive potential that they were matured more than peers through the experience of overcoming difficulties. Conclusion: Not only were there not enough attention and support for the children with mentally ill people, but they were also exposed to an environment that threatens their physical or mental health. Therefore, to improve their health-related quality of life, there should be some integrated support of the community health system to cope with the challenges they face.

Developing Technology Influence Matrix to Support Decision-making for Long-life Housing Planning - Focused on Exclusive Housing Unit of Long-life Housing -

  • Purpose: Long-life housing causes unavoidable cost increase while providing higher durability, flexibility, and repair easiness compare to those of normal apartment. The effectiveness should be evaluated considering the level of passing mandatory Long-life housing Certification System when supplying specific size of apartment complex. Thus, it is essential to identify the estimated costs and the obtainable grade by applying the optional element technologies selectively during the design phase. This study aimed to suggest the technology influence matrix(TIM) to support decision-making of element technologies in planning stage of long-life housing. Method: The technology influence matrix was established based on the property information about applicable element technologies for long-life housing such as construction methods, interface types, cost data, and certification-related characteristics. The usefulness of TIM was verified through case study, in which TIM was applied to the exclusive housing unit and the influences from four areas of quantity, cost, certification, and schedule were identified and calculated. Result: TIMs covering four areas representing the essential planning factors were developed, and are expected to contribute to sound decision-making in planning long-life housing.

성인 심혈관 수술 후 시행한 체외순환보조의 조기 임상결과 (The In-hospital Clinical Outcomes of Extracorporeal Life Support after Adult Cardiovascular Surgery)

  • 배경: 성인 심혈관 수술 이후 체외순환보조를 시행해야 했던 환자들의 조기 임상 성적과 생존에 영향을 미치는 인자 등을 분석하기 위하여 연구를 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2002년 1월 1일부터 2008년 8월 31일 까지 성인 심혈관 수술을 시행 받은 환자 2,721명 중 심실보조장치(Ventricular Assist Device) 혹은 체외막형산화기(Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation)를 삽입한 44명(전체 성인심혈관수술 환자의 1.6%)을 대상으로 수술 및 의무기록지를 후향적으로 분석하였다. 평균 연령은 61.7$\pm$14.9세(범위, 20$\sim$73세)였고 남자가 32명(72.7%)을 차지하였다. 평균 체외순환보조기간은 5.3$\pm$3.0일(범위, 1$\sim$12일)이었다. 결과: 전체 44명의 환자 가운데 체외 순환 보조 장치를 이탈 할 수 있었던 환자는 24명(장치 이탈률 54.5%), 생존퇴원은 18명(생존율 40.9%)이었다. 합병증은 38명(86.4%)에서 발생하였다. 단변량 분석에서, 응급수술, 삽관기간중 출혈, 신부전, 혈류 불안정(flow instability), 대동맥내 풍선장치를 동시에 사용하지 않은 경우 등이 사망에 영향을 미치는 인자로 조사되었고, 2006년 이후 성적이 향상되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다변량 분석에서 체외순환중 신부전의 발생, 출혈이 사망에 유의한 인자로 파악되었다. 결론: 성인 심혈관 수술 이후 체외순환보조는 만족할만한 임상결과를 보이고 있어 적극적인 활용이 요구되지만 보다 나은 생존율을 위한 전반적인 치료전략의 개선과 광범위한 전향적인 연구가 필요하다.

무기체계 특성을 고려한 부품단종 관리방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on DMSMS Management for Weapon systems)

  • 무기체계는 요구되는 수명주기 증가 및 군용 전자부품 시장의 축소 등으로 인해 부품단종이 어쩔 수 없이 발생하게 된다. 그런데, 이러한 부품단종은 무기체계의 운용에 있어서 가장 중요한 전투준비태세와 수명주기비용에 있어 심각한 문제를 발생시킨다. 본 연구에서는 부품단종 발생 원인과 관리 방법을 검토하고, 이러한 부품단종 문제를 최소화하기 위한 방법으로 부품단종 관련 체계적 인프라 구축 및 운영 방안과 부품단종을 고려한 정량적인 성능 개량 시점 판단 및 추진 방안을 제시하였다.

Functionalized Poplar Powder as a Support Material for Immobilization of Enoate Reductase and a Cofactor Regeneration System

  • In this study, functionalized poplar powder (FPP) was used as a support material for the immobilization of enoate reductase (ER) and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (GDH) by covalent binding. Under optimal conditions, the immobilization efficiency of ER-FPP and GDH-FPP was 95.1% and 84.7%, and the activity recovery of ER and GDH was 47.5% and 37.8%, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis indicated that FPP was a suitable carrier for enzyme immobilization. ER-FPP and GDH-FPP exhibit excellent thermal stabilities and superior reusability. Especially, ER-FPP and GDH-FPP enable the continuous conversion of 4-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-3-buten-2-one with $NAD^+$ recycling. While the immobilization strategies established here were simple and inexpensive, they exploited a new method for the immobilization and application of ER and its cofactor recycling system.

  • The configuration such as series, parallel and k-out-of-n of a repairable system directly affects its reliability. The maintenance strategy can also affect the overall performance of the system. The objective of this work is to investigate the possible trade-off between the configuration of a repairable k-out-of-n system and its maintenance strategy. The redundancy is considered to be the design decision variables, whereas the preventive maintenance period is considered to be the maintenance decision variables. The optimization model is used to minimize the overall life cycle cost associated with the system, considering constraint on reliability. Finally, genetic algorithm is used to find the optimal values for the decision variables. The result is compared with optimal values for considering redundancy and maintenance respectively.

사회적 낙인 인식이 성소수자의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Perceived Social Stigma on the Life Satisfaction of Sexual Minorities)

  • 본 연구는 성소수자의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보면서, 성소수자의 삶의 만족도 모형을 구축하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 특히 성소수자가 사회적 낙인을 인식하는 정도의 효과에 주목하였으며, 사회적 낙인 인식과 관련하여 나타나는 사회적 상황의 영향을 탐구하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 스트레스-대처 이론을 활용하여 지각된 스트레스로서의 사회적 낙인 인식이 대처자원으로서의 사회적 지지와 자아존중감에 영향을 미치고, 결과적으로 대처방식으로서의 커밍아웃 정도와 대처결과로서의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 과정을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 한국에 거주하는 한국인 성소수자를 연구대상자로 하여, 온라인 서베이를 실시하여 총 478명에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 분석방법으로 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 측정모형 분석을 통해서 측정의 질을 평가하고, 구조모형 분석을 통해서 이론적 모형에 포함된 변수의 영향관계에 대한 검증을 하였다. 분석결과, 사회적 낙인 인식은 직접적으로 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라, 사회적 지지와 자아존중감, 그리고 커밍아웃을 매개로 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 이성애자 지지의 매개효과는 유의미하게 나타나지 않았다. 그리고 성소수자 지지는 커밍아웃을 통해 간접적으로 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과를 토대로, 성소수자들에 대한 사회적 낙인, 사회적 지지, 자아존중감, 그리고 커밍아웃과 관련한 실천적 전략을 제시하였다.

  • In order to develop VirtuAlmighty system, CPDM (construction project data management) and CPLM (construction project lifecycle management) model must be settled beforehand. Because most of information systems based on 3D-Design have its own database and business process. So, our team will develop collaboration management architecture of construction process for Decision Support based on PLM (Project Life-cycle Management). This architecture with business processes and Database can be used in process develop, process monitoring with many stakeholders of project, process change management, and so on.

살고싶은 도시만들기사업의 실태 조사연구 (A Study on Actual Condition Survey of The Making Livable City)

  • Recently, with the policy balance development in the country, Ministries of the government as managers related each of regional projects have prepared pan-governmental support system to achieve Making Livable Area Policy. This study is analysis result of investigation in 2007 authorized cases of MLCP(Making Livable City Project) which Ministry of Construction & Transportation have propelling from city and rural-urban area of town, myeon and dong, to rural area of small village size. Areas chosen for MLCP have the active participation of inhabitants, and to promote successfully project, need to support system and originality for area. Such projects will finally increase the life quality, and make life-spaces wanting to live in the area.

  • This paper reports the numerical results for blood flow of the sac squeezed by moving actuator in the TPLS(Twin Pulse Life Support System). Blood flow in the sac is assumed to be 3-dimensional unsteady newtonian fluid. where the blood flow interacts with the sac, which is activated by the moving actuator. The flow field is simulated numerically by using the FEM code, ADINA. It is well known that hemolysis is closely related to shear stress acted on blood flow. According to this fact, we simulate four models with different speed for moving actuator and examine the distribution of shear stress for each model. Numerical results show that maximum shear stress is strongly dependent on the actuator speed.
