Club activities play an important role for college students in adapting to their college life. This study was therefore undertaken to investigate the effects of club activities on the communication skills and self-leadership of nursing students. Convenience sampling method was applied for 147 students enrolled in the nursing department of university in D city, of which 119 subjects participated in club activities. Data was collected from October 15 to November 30, 2019, and analyzed by applying 𝑥2 test, t-test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis, using the IBM SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Communication skill and self-leadership were above the middle level. Depending on the club activities, significant differences were obtained for grade (𝑥2=8.07, p=0.045), major satisfaction (𝑥2=8.26, p=0.010), and communication skill and behavior-focused strategies (t=4.48, p=0.036). Factors affecting communication skill were behavior-focused strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies, and activeness amongst club activities. Therefore, the numerous club activity experiences of subjects helped improve the communication skill which, in turn, helps improve self-leadership. Our study indicates the necessity to seek an educational strategy that encourages active club activities of nursing students, for improving the core competencies of professional nurses, encompassing communication skills and self-leadership.
We are easily supposed to think that outdoor EE can help make Eco-Sense, furthermore 'Eco' means nature and natural resource itself. Relatively we are likely to think indoor EE is something theoretical or knowledge-oriented. It comes from our strong beliefs going into nature would be best choice for feeling Eco-mind. But every place in our daily life could be space for finding Eco-feeling(mind), as far as the relation to life in there. No life without ecological relation, so firstly we need to be rethink Eco-feeling could be enough trained in daily life, our EE trends that have distinguished between indoor and outdoor should be rearranged, going there is just for when we unavoidably need to go for outdoor experience. So I focus on two special causes bringing out these biases, 1st Environmental management-thinking, which has been passed over this trend under the name of training environmentally responsible citizen through Awareness, Knowledge, Skill and Attitudes. 2nd important cause is cultural metaphors, which means our thinking is fixed into some patterns, losing cultural thinking diversity, although eco-culture in our daily life has been figured our daily life out as ecological phenomenon hermeneutically. To illustrate this problematic trends, this paper will introduce theories of Bateson G. and Bowers C.A. mainly, who insist fixed pattern-thinking bound for environmental management could be obstacles to make students see and have Ecological intelligence in their mind throughout daily life. This paper will focus on how to feel Eco-mind in our daily life through cultural experience. Representative way for this is to research on rice paddy eco-system and rice culture.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a brain-based science teaching and learning model on the science related attitudes, scientific inquiry skills and science knowledge of the 2nd graders in Intelligent Life course. For this study, 117 elementary students from four classes of the 2nd grade in Seoul were selected. In the comparison group, traditional instruction was implemented and in the experimental group, instruction according to brain-based science teaching and learning model was implemented for four weeks. The results of this study were as follows : There were little differences between the comparison and experimental groups in terms of the science related attitudes except for the sub-domains of interest and curiosity. And brain-based science teaching and learning model programs improved a few scientific inquiry skills, especially observation and classification. In addition, the experimental groups showed a positive effect on science knowledge. In conclusion, brain-based science teaching and learning model programs were more effective in improvement of the science related attitudes, scientific inquiry skills and science knowledge of elementary students.
Background: The present study aims at investigating whether and how (1) job demands and job resources are associated with work-to-private-life interference (WLI) and (2) job resources moderate the relationship between job demands and WLI. Methods: Data were collected by a self-report questionnaire from three hospitals in Italy. The sample consisted of 889 health-care workers. Results: All job demands (i.e., quantitative demands, disproportionate patient expectations, and verbal aggression) and job resources (i.e., job autonomy, support from superiors and colleagues, fairness, and organizational support), with the exception of skill discretion, were related to WLI. The effects of quantitative demands on WLI were moderated by support from superiors; fairness and organizational support moderate the effects of all job demands considered. Support from colleagues moderated only verbal aggression. Job autonomy did not buffer any job demands. Conclusion: The present study suggests that the work context has a central importance in relation to the experience of WLI among health-care workers. The results indicated that intervention in the work context may help to contain WLI. Such interventions would especially be aimed at improving the social climate within the unit and quality of the organizational process.

Fermented materials have been used for long time around the world and have been researched according to the excellent effect in the part of medical and food industry. However, when such materials are applied on skin, because of the skin barrier, the most effective ingredients are poorly absorbed. The absorption of the skin is exceedingly limited and the method of increasing skin absorption needs special procedures. The micro-needle therapy is a method used to improve the absorption of drug (solution) in the skin which is called "natural skin rejuvenation therapy". This therapy uses micro-needle which is equipped with very thin, delicate needles smaller than a 0.07 mm thick hair. During this therapy, the micro-needle makes small holes and helps absorb the solution into the skin. This is a very excellent therapy in skin absorption. It can be used in wide regions of the skin without any side effects and no recovery time. In 2007, the micro-needle is permitted to personal care. However, the solutions have not yet been developed professionally, and such skill is needed.

ECG is included in certain medical examinations of insurance application, ECG has low specificity and sensitivity. So ECG is not usually used to diagnose specific diseases. But, ECG is not invasive and costs low. So ECG is usually used in underwriting. Actually in underwriting we meet various ECG patterns and diagnosises. Understanding of various ECG patterns is different between insurance medicine and clinical medicine. So We have to learn various ECG patterns and effects on mortality and morbidity. First considerations of ECG readings are age, sex, blood pressure, family history, smoking historyalcohol history and hyperlipidemia. These are predictors for possibility of disease. Also it is important to review recording ECG with proper skill. In this review I consider several ECG diagnosises that we meet frequently, which is, LVH, RVH, ST abnormalities, LBBS, RBBB, A-B blocks, several kinds of arrhythmia. We have to consider long term mortalities and morbidities of specific ECG patterns although applicants have no symptom and sign. And then we have to make underwriting manual according to specific ECG diagnosises and patterns and underwrite precisely ECG patterns according to insurance products. Nowadays coronary heart disease and other heart diseases are increasing in Korea. So we have to learn various ECG patterns and research mortalities and morbidities of abnormal ECG patterns. Also we have to apply to more broad, precise underwriting skills about ECG patterns and diagnosises.
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of lifestyle modifications on the constipation relief, the time required to see the effects, and the effective lifestyles for constipation in older adults admitted to a geriatric hospital. Methods: Nonequivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The subjects consisted of 25 elderly in the control group and 23 in the experimental group. Constipation was measured with symptoms of constipation, number of bowel movement and use of laxatives. Life style modification consisted of drinking water before breakfast, having a breakfast, scheduled toileting after breakfast and walking everyday for 3 weeks. Results: Symptoms of constipation (t=2.23, p=.030) and number of bowel movement per week (t=-2.55, p=.014) were significantly different between two groups after 3 weeks. Drinking water, scheduled toileting and walking might contribute to the results. Conclusion: Lifestyle modification was effective on constipation in older adults admitted to a geriatric hospital. However, the effects were produced after 3 weeks. Nevertheless, it is recommended that nurses continuously encourage older adults for drinking water, regular trying for bowel movement and walking to relieve constipation, since the lifestyle modification does not need any special education and skill.
