이 연구의 목적은 구십 년대 중반 이후 편목 업무의 부분적 혹은 전면적 외주를 수행하였던 국내외 대학 도서관들의 사례를 분석하여, 대학도서관의 편목 업무 외주의 현황과 그에 관련된 문제점을 살펴보는 것이다. 비용 절감과 업무 효율 증대라는 외주에 대한 기대는 목록 레코드의 품질 저하 및 그에 따른 레코드의 수정 위한 추가 비용과 업무 부담이라는 결과를 초래하여, 외주의 실질적 효과에 대한 논쟁의 원인이 되고 있다. 특히 국내 대학도서관에서의 편목 업무의 외주는 참조할 우수한 서지 유틸리티나 공동목록의 부재, 외주 서비스 제공자의 전문성 결여, 실질적 비용 효과 분석 데이터의 결핍 등의 문제로 인해 타당성이 제한적인 것으로 나타나고 있다.

The KJC and KCI services operated by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) need to refer to the global citation index database to set the service direction that researchers want and develop new functions. Therefore, in this study, the usability of Korea's KJC and KCI web databases was evaluated. In addition, FGI verification was performed for a group of experts on KJC and KCI improvement measures derived by academic information experts. The evaluation committee consisted of the researcher group, the society related group, the publisher (academic information distribution organization) group, and the policy-making organization group. A total of 16 experts performed usability evaluation and service improvement proposals for KJC and KCI services. As a result of usability evaluation of KJC and KCI web database using SUS measurement tool, KJC service was evaluated as 73.44, and KCI service was evaluated as good as 64.38. KJC improvement proposals were evaluated positively with 4 points or more for all improvement items, and KCI improvement proposals were positively evaluated with 3.5 points or more for all improvement items. Overall, KJC and KCI error improvements were evaluated with a score of 4 or more, showing strong affirmations. In the future, it is hoped that the improvement proposals and improvements proposed in this study will be applied to the development of KJC and KCI services, so that more quality services will be used by domestic researchers.

Background: The recent change in pharmaceutical education system following the paradigm shift to patient-oriented pharmacy service requires an in-depth discussion to reorganize a future direction and establish a basis for maximizing social values of community pharmacy service. Objective: This study was conducted to review the current status of community pharmacy service provision in Korea based on published literatures. Methods: The electronic databases of National Digital Science Library and Electronic National Assembly Library were used to search the journal articles and dissertation papers. A search term "community pharmacy" was used and the published period was limited to papers published after year 2001, when the legal separation of prescribing and dispensing was implemented. Relevant study reports were also searched manually. Information about pharmacy service provision and study outcomes were retrieved from the selected papers, and classified by predefined individual service scope. Results: A total 33 papers reporting services provided by community pharmacies were selected (journal article 11, dissertation paper 17, and study report 5). Pharmacy services identified in these papers could be classified into prescription dispensing service, pharmaceutical care service, self medication service, other products service, and health promotion service. Twenty papers reported prescription dispensing services, three papers reported pharmaceutical care service, and only two papers reported health promotion service. Current community pharmacy services are highly dependent on prescription drugs while expanded services such as pharmaceutical care and health promotion are peripheral. Most prevalent research topic was medication counseling service (18 papers), reflecting that community pharmacists generally consider it to be the most important and fundamental service. Overall, current pharmacy services are very limited and focus on prescription dispensing service. Conclusion: At this point of time requiring expansion and quality improvement of community pharmacy services, we suggest further lively discussion to strengthen pharmacist's functional identity and set conditions for providing socially expected services.

이 연구는 대학생들을 사례로 하여 학습과 관련한 각종 활동의 실체를 파악하고 그러한 활동 과정에서 두드러지는 정보행태적 특징을 밝혀냄으로써 대학도서관 서비스를 '이용자 친화적'으로 혁신하기 위한 기초 자료를 확보하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 성취하고자 이 연구에서는, 첫째, 대학생의 학습활동을 분석하여 유형화하고 학습활동의 유형에 따른 정보행태적 특징을 밝혀내었으며, 둘째, 정보행태적 관점을 중시하면서 학습정보원으로서 대학도서관이 갖는 비중과 이용행태를 파악하였고, 마지막으로, 대학도서관이용에 영향을 미치는 인적 변인을 드러내고 그러한 변인에 따른 도서관이용행태의 차이를 밝혀내었다. 연구에 필요한 데이터는 290명의 대학생을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 수집하였으며, 수집한 데이터는 빈도분석과 교차분석을 거쳐 논점의 전개를 위해 활용하였다.

본 연구에서는 22개 서울특별시교육청 도서관·평생학습관(서울시교육청 도서관)에 대한 청소년의 만족도 실태를 파악하고 불만족 요인을 개선해 청소년을 위한 정보서비스의 질적 향상을 도모하고 궁극적으로는 서울시교육청 도서관의 청소년 이용 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 디지털 시대로의 전환기에 독서 매체의 변화가 불가피해지는 상황을 고려하여 전자도서관 이용실태를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 청소년의 흥미를 유발할 수 있고 새로운 정보기술을 반영한 독서 프로그램 기획, 전자책 서비스 범위 및 시스템 개선, 학교도서관과의 연계, 공간 재구조화 등을 제안하였다.

Many problems which today's research libraries are confronted with should be taken the measures to find some solutions in any ways. The purpose of this study is to identify the main stream of chaining of research libraries as an existing collector and distributor of scholarly information into a communication system adopting the concept of resource sharing and on-line bibliographic search as some possible ways for solutions. The conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) The research libraries will be imposed on more and more responsibilities to be a reservoir of the intellectual heritage of an individual, a nation and mankind. 2) The research libraries in the near future will have to develop their collections in the new environment of austerity with the limited budget. 3) It is more desirable for the future research libraries to have the attitude that they are in the business of information and communication rather than being an entity as "a library". 4) The resource sharing developed to solve the severe problems confrontal by research libraries will improve the organizational and technical mechanism for the access to the scholarly information. 5) The research libraries will produce more and more bibliographic database to expand the library materials which can be available and shared. 6) Though on-line search service will be sure to provide a considerable profit to the scholarly information users, it will take a long time for this service to be popularize because of the high ratio of service fee. 7) Two problems should be solved for the efficient service by on-line search. One is the continuous, updating training for the professional librarians. The other is that the common efforts for the quality control and standardization of data base by the data base producers should be made. 8) Taking all the items of the conclusions derived from the study of research libraries mainly in the United States into a consideration, the followings should be paid an attention. - The status-quo of the research libraries in Korea should be analyzed in very detailed and accurate way. - The problems of research libraries in Korea as the major scholarly communication system should be clarified based on the analysis. - The measures for the problems should be taken in the light of the unique characteristics of korean environment. - For the developing the most efficient measures, the formal organize action to lead and govern the long-aimed study on the problems of research libraries should be established and the government-level su n.0, pport for the legislation and finance should be provided for the realization of the result of the study.

본 연구의 목적은 인문사회자산 원스톱 포털 서비스 제공을 위한 발전방안 및 중장기 로드맵 설정에 있다. 이를 위해 기초학문자료센터 SWOT 분석을 실시하였으며, 석 박사과정생 90명을 대상으로 사용성 테스트를 실시하였고, 전문가 8명과의 면담을 통하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 기초학문자료센터가 인문사회자산에 대한 원스톱 포털 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 첫째, 자원의 통합적 제공에만 국한하는 것이 아니라 지속가능한 무한정보제공 측면에서의 접근이 필요하다. 둘째, 질적 검증을 거친 연구 성과물 수집 전략을 확립할 필요가 있다. 셋째, KRM은 인문사회자산 허브 및 인문사회 연구자 네트워크 플랫폼으로서 기능해야할 필요성이 요구된다. 넷째, 전문 연구 서비스 뿐 아니라 일반인들을 위한 교육의 측면까지 고려한 서비스 제공이 필요하다.

본 연구의 목적은 정보격차가 심화되는 현시점에서 지역대표도서관에서 제공되는 소수자서비스의 질적 제고를 위한 과제를 도출하고 제언함에 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 소수자를 둘러싼 도서관계의 관심과 논의점을 구체적으로 살펴보기 위하여 소수자를 주제로 다룬 문헌정보학 분야 연구 144편을 대상으로 텍스트마이닝과 토픽모델링을 수행하였다. 다음으로 지역대표도서관의 소수자서비스의 실제를 구체적으로 살펴보고, 지역대표 도서관의 소수자서비스 기획 및 운영에 있어 논의가 필요한 과제를 도출하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 12개의 지역대표도서관에서 소수자서비스를 담당하는 실무자를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 1) 실무자의 소수자에 대한 인식, 2) 소수자서비스의 현황, 그리고 3) 지역대표도서관의 지역 소수자서비스 계획과 운영에 대한 책임 및 역할과 필요한 지원에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 논의를 도출하였으며, 논의를 바탕으로 1) 소수자 집단의 재범주화, 2) 소수자서비스관련 참고정보원 구축, 3) 소수자관련 교육의 강화, 그리고 4) 지역대표도서관과 단위도서관의 협력 지원으로 과제를 도출하고 제언하였다.

Access to relevant information determines the quality of life of an individual in society and the academe. Academic institutions have established information literacy programmes to enhance students' access to information. With the elevation of colleges of education to tertiary status in Ghana, pre-service teachers are now required to conduct research to improve their reflective thinking in order to be certified. However, the information access skills of students in colleges of education in Ghana are uncertain. This study draws empirical evidence from students in the Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education, Wa, Ghana on their information access skills. Primary data were collected from 303 respondents from the college using a stratified sampling procedure. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that information is available to students through different sources such as the Internet, libraries, and contact with friends and authorities. However, students were limited in respect to access to relevant online resources for their academic activities due to inadequate information access skills. Potential solutions are discussed.

세계 각국은 국가경쟁력 향상을 위해 R&D 투자 확대 및 효율성 제고에 노력하고 있다. 따라서 국내 과학기술분야 학술정보 유통사업도 질적 제고 및 발전적 미래전략 도출을 위한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 국내의 대표적 과학기술 분야 학술정보 유통기관인 A기관을 대상으로 BSC 기반 성과지표를 적용하여 사업성과를 평가하고 평가결과를 이용하여 중요도 및 성과에 대한 포트폴리오 분석을 실시하였다. BSC기반 성과지표의 평가항목은 정보자원관점, 정보서비스관점, 이용자관점, 경제적관점의 4개 관점에서 정보자원 품질, 정보서비스 품질, 이용자 만족도 및 학술정보의 경제적 유용가치 등 12개 항목으로 구성하였다. 포트폴리오 분석에서는 성과지표별 포트폴리오 분석과 더불어 개별 성과지표의 구성요소별 분석을 실시하였으며, 성과평가 및 포트폴리오 분석결과에 기반하여 A기관의 학술정보 유통사업에 대한 관점별 개선방안을 제시하였다.
