본 연구는 동아시아 지역 성인층의 평생학습 확산을 대비한 국가간 도서관 협력의제를 고찰하기 위해 해당 지역 주요국가인 한국, 중국, 일본의 20대 청년층 정보이용자의 도서관인식과 불안을 국가간 비교연구를 통해 분석하였다. 이에 청년층 정보이용자의 상황적 맥락(선호정보원, 이용빈도, 학력, 성별)에 따른 도서관이용 의 요인별 인식차이를 조사하여 청년층 이용자의 선호정보원과 이용빈도에 따라 도서관불안에 명백한 차이가 있음을 통계적으로 입증하였다. 특히 중국의 정보이용자층이 다른 나라 이용자층에 비해 도서관이용시 각 요소에 대한 불안정도가 현저하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 더불어 한국의 정보이용자들의 디지털정보에 관한 불안요소가 다른 나라 청년층 이용자에 비해 낮은 분포로 측정되었다. 연구결과를 기반으로 이용자들의 환경변화에 따른 정보서비스요구에 대한 도서관의 수용 및 새로운 차원의 도서관 장소 모색 등 성인층을 위한 동아시아지역 도서관운영의 개선방안 등을 제안하였다.

The purpose of the study is to identify the perception of the Library and Information Science (LIS) specialists about the use of mobile phones in retrieving information. It investigates the present status of the LIS specialists regarding mobile phone usage, perceptions regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries and points out the possible drawbacks and their solutions for embracing mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries and providing some suggestions. The methodology includes a quantitative approach. The authors used a survey method using a structured questionnaire to measure the perception of LIS specialists regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries. The findings confirmed that the majority (72%) of LIS specialists have the experience of using mobile phones for more than 10 years. Findings also indicate that the LIS specialists have agreed with the statements of advantages of using mobile phones. This paper concludes that the respondents also agreed regarding the possible advantages of introducing mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries. The paper explores the original perceptions of LIS specialists regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries.

This study investigates how high school students with low academic achievement seek and use information. Participants were seven US students in an American Literature and Composition course of the $11^{th}$ grade Remedial Education Program who completed a class project that required comprehensive information seeking and use. Data were collected through comprehensive observation and individual interviews with each student, the teacher, and two library media specialists. Additionally, we gathered and analyzed the instructions the teacher and the two library media specialists provided and all documents each student produced to complete the class project. The process of data analysis was supported by QSR NVivo. The findings of the study implied that students experienced cognitive and affective challenges for their information seeking and use required for the tasks and suggested that technological and individual conferencing would motivate the students to continue their information seeking and use. We then conclude the study with some important implications that can be used as a basis for designing information literacy instructions for students with low academic achievement.

최근 다양한 방법들이 공공도서관 가치 측정에 적용되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 공공도서관 가치 측정 방법을 소비자 잉여와 조건부 가치측정법을 중심으로 분석하였다. 또한 이를 이용해 공공도서관이 개인에게 미치는 직접적인 경제적 가치를 측정하였다. 84%의 이용자들은 공공도서관이 개인의 생활에 영향을 미치고 있다고 하였으며 한 사람이 도서관 이용을 위해 월 8,270원의 금액을 지불할 의향을 보였다. 도서 대출을 위해서는 1권에 1,470원의 금액을 지불할 의사를 나타냈다. 이를 토대로 추정된 전체 도서관에 대한 경제적 가치는 1/3배, 도서 대출에 대한 개별 서비스의 경제적 가치는 3배로 분석되어 측정 대상에 따라 큰 차이를 나타냈다.

The user has to subscribe to the library so that user use the library service. User has to register at that in order to use of the nearby another library. Moreover, service such as the inter-library loan and returning my loan book to other library in which the mutual cooperation between the library is needed necessity. But it services due to the constraint condition because of the administrative or technical problems. In this paper excludes the administrative element. The web service model is forming the cluster based on the mutual cooperation between the technologically adjacent public library and provides the technologically necessary single sign-on (SSO) in order to support the additional service. The single sign-on of the library which is concluded by this model using the security information exchange standard (Security Assertion Markup Language : SAML), it is processed by XML base. In using this model, the loan information is confirmed in the attribution in return service library and the model can utilize for the return of loan book in other library. It designs the single sign-on about it.

본 연구의 목적은 인스타그램을 활용한 대학도서관의 홍보 활동에 대한 재학생의 이용 현황과 인식을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 도서관 홍보를 위한 대학도서관 인스타그램 운영 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내외 대학도서관 인스타그램 운영 현황을 조사하고, 소속 대학의 도서관 인스타그램을 이용하는 학생 292명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 대학도서관 인스타그램 운영 개선을 위해 첫째, 재학생의 인스타그램 이용과 밀접하게 연관된 '도서관 행사 및 이벤트' 정보를 활용하되 실질적인 도서관 이용으로 이어질 수 있는 참여 방법을 기획하여 도서관 이용을 활성화하는 것이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 도서관 이미지 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 주기 위해서 인스타그램을 통해 사서의 역할을 홍보하고 일상적 커뮤니케이션 정보를 활용하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 도서관 인스타그램에 이용자가 문의할 수 있는 방법을 안내하고, 주기적인 게시물 업로드와 모니터링을 통해 이용자와의 소통에 적극적으로 대응하는 것이 필요하다.

본 연구에서는 P대학도서관 이용자 만족도와 요구사항 등을 설문조사를 통해 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 CRM기법을 적용하여 이용자의 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 P대학 구성원을 대상으로 응답자 기본정보, 소장자료, 자료이용, 홈페이지, 이용자서비스, 시설/환경의 6가지 영역으로 구성하여 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약해 보면 첫째, 만족도조사에서 자료이용 부분이 가장 높게 나타났고, 시설환경 부분이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 자료이용에서는 희망도서 신청 자료를 신속히 구입 및 정리하여 제공하고, 예약도서에 대한 캠퍼스 간 대출이 필요하다. 둘째, 홈페이지에서는 OPAC의 검색시스템과 예약시스템 기능 개선이 필요하고, 자주 이용하는 기능에 대한 메뉴 재배치도 필요하다. 셋째, 이용자서비스에서는 도서관 행사를 더욱 확대하고, 문제점으로 지적되는 행사 안내와 홍보를 강화할 수 있는 방안(SMS, Push 등)을 마련할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 시설환경에서는 개인 및 그룹 학습공간의 부족, 사물함 부족, 환기 및 냉난방 관리 문제, 화장실 시설관리 불만 (휴지 부족 등) 도서관의 지리적 접근성 부족, 외부이용자 관리 등에 대한 불만을 개선할 수 있는 정책이 필요하다.

본 연구는 학령기에 있는 장애 아동·청소년들의 독서 및 도서관 이용과 요구사항을 파악해 보고 국립장애인도서관을 중심으로 추진되고 있는 도서관정책의 개선점을 제시해보고자 하였다. 대체자료 제작 및 대체자료통합목록시스템 구축을 중심으로 한 도서관정책과는 다르게 장애 아동·청소년은 주로 종이책을 이용하고 있었으며, 80%가 도서관을 거의 이용하고 있지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 특수학교 도서관 중심의 추진체계를 확립하고 장애영역과 학령별 장서 큐레이션을 통한 독서문화 향유 기반 구축을 제안하였다. 더불어 멀티미디어 장서의 국제표준화 개발, 국립어린이청소년도서관과의 협력, 특수학교도서관의 전문인력, 장서, 예산 확충을 기반으로 일반학교 특수학급 장애 학생들과의 연계를 제시하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 이용자의 도서관 이용행태를 분석하여 대학도서관 공간 활용의 효율성을 제고하는 데 있다. 도서관 이용행태를 분석하기 위해 본 연구는 이용자들이 직접 자신들의 행동을 기록하는 다이어리 기법을 이용했다. 총 108명이 참여를 했고 이들 중 84명이 다이어리를 작성했다. 제출된 다이어리 중 내용을 충실히 작성한 14명의 참여자와 도서관 이용행태, 이용시 문제점 및 요구사항 등에 대한 인터뷰를 진행했다. 다이어리와 인터뷰 분석결과, 공간계획 측면에서 이용되지 않은 공간이나 기기들의 이용률 향상을 위한 방안마련과 서가 브라우징을 통한 정보접근 향상을 위한 방법을 제안했다. 또한 도서관 이용시간 분석을 통해 학생들의 이용행태 및 이용률 제고 방안을 논의했다.
