이 연구에서는 모바일 웹 서비스를 제공하는 공공도서관을 대상으로 국제 웹 표준 기구 W3C에서 만든 웹 접근성 평가도구인 모바일OK 검사를 실시하여 공공도서관 모바일 웹 서비스의 웹 접근성을 평가하였다. 모바일OK 검사 실시가 가능한 81개 공공도서관에 대해 모바일OK 검사를 실시하고 W3C에서 제정한 모바일 웹 모범사례를 바탕으로 이를 분석하였다. 분석된 결과를 바탕으로 공공도서관 모바일 웹 서비스 확대 및 개선을 위하여 지방자치단체와 지방교육청의 정책적 지원, 웹 표준에 맞는 모바일 웹 서비스 설계, 웹 설계 과정에서 유해요소 제거, 가벼운 모바일 웹 문서 제작, 분산되어 연결된 여러 개별 파일들의 합병 등의 방안을 제시하였다.

Ships and off-shore plants have very long lifecycles. Design data of ships and off-shore plants are used as master data in the subsequent phases after the design phase. Therefore, it is an important issue how to convert native design data generated from commercial shipbuilding CAD systems into neutral data with the use of international industrial data standards. International standard-based exchange of ship outfitting and off-shore plant data needs the construction of a library for specifications data of equipment and materials and the provision of external referencing mechanism for retrieving data stored in the library. This paper proposes an approach to construct a specifications data library with the use of ISO 15926 process plants. This library is used for providing specifications data through external referencing when translating ship outfitting data from TRIBON system into ISO 10303 STEP AP 227-formed data.

공공도서관은 지역주민이 가장 자주 이용하는 문화인프라, 평생학습 공간, 사회적 공공시설이다. 이러한 다목적 정체성에 부응할 의도로 많은 공공도서관이 최근에 개방형, 다기능성, 연계성을 강조하는 방향으로 공간구조를 변경 또는 재구성하고 있다. 이에 따른 소음문제가 주요 환경변수의 하나로 부상함에 따라 소음관리가 이용자 친화적인 도서관인지를 판단하는 잣대로 간주될 수밖에 있다. 본 연구는 대구시 공공도서관을 대상으로 공간별 소음수준을 측정하여 국내외 기준과 비교 분석한 다음에 다양한 저감방안을 제시하였다.

The Necessity of extending the local library become inevitable because of the swift increasing the volume of information and enlarging the accessibility and increasing the requirements approached to the latest information, caused by continuous development of communication techniques. But these requirements have been concentrated at the quantitative growth to some extent such as an unique and mammoth library at an region or some few independent libraries, never to be considered enough for the users' convinience so that these locational conditions impede the utilization of library As to this matter, this is a basic research what's the best selection of arrangement for establishing public libraries in the future according to the planning regional area and this is the purpose to present a standard of planning regional area in consideration with user's easyaccesibility and also the facilities selecting activities of user's character and set up a planning the basic data about facilities arrangement and space scale before unfolding it's own public service activities of public library as the role of the regional and social information center

문헌정보학 분야의 연구개발 지원방법과 방향을 설정하기 위하여 영국도서관 연구개발부(이하 BLRDD)와 미국도서관진흥재단(이하 CLR)을 현지에서 조사하였다. 본고에서는 양기관의 연구개발 지원활동의 역사, 조직의 개요, 지원방법, 대상분야의 특징 등을 간단하게 설명하고, 양기관이 문헌정보학계에 이바지한 역할을 기술하고자 한다. 그 역할은 다음의 네 가지로 요약 할 수 있다. (1) 문헌정보학의 선도적 연구를 위한 자금지원과 문헌정보학의 학문적 기여 (2) 연구기관 및 연구자의 육성 (3) 도서관 정보서비스의 개선과 이의 도서관 보급 (4) 전국적이고 국제적인 수준의 연구교류 기회 제공

정보활용능력 교육은 학교도서관 운영에서 가장 핵심적인 영역이라고 할 수 있다. 효과적인 정보활용능력 교육을 통해 교수 학습 과정에 통합될 수 있으며 나아가 학교도서관의 존립 근거를 확보할 수 있기 때문이다. 이런 원리에 근거하여 이 연구에서는 미국의 선진 학교도서관 운영에 적용되는 정보활용능력 교육 체제와 내용에 대하여 경험적 관찰과 자료를 중심으로 소개하고 분석한다. 미국 학교도서관의 현장에서 수행되는 다양한 정보활용능력 교육의 원리와 내용이 어떤 기준과 교과과정에 근거하는지 탐구하기 위해 국가적 기준과 여러 주의 교과과정을 조사하고 분석하였다. 특히 이 연구에서 조사하고 분석한 각 주별 교과과정의 내용과 체제는 우리 학교도서관 교과과정을 개발하고 운용하는 일에 많은 시사점을 제공한다고 할 수 있다.

본 연구는 학교도서관 디지털자료실의 운영실태를 조사하고, 교육적 효과를 분석하여 향후 개선 및 발전방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 학교도서관 디지털자료실 설치 사업은 학교도서관의 환경개선 및 정보화의 기반 구축, 정보자료 확충, 홈페이지를 통한 정보제공, 원문정보 제공, 독서교육, 도서관 활용수업 등 다양한 정보 및 교육서비스를 제공할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다. 학교도서관 디지털자료실이 초$\cdot$중등학교의 교수-학습방법의 개선 및 자기주도적 학습환경 조성에 기여하기 위해서는 첫째. 국가수준의 학교도서관 디지털자료실 기준을 설정해야 한다. 둘째, 독서교육 및 정보활용교육을 제도화해야 한다. 셋째, 도서관 활용수업을 정규 교육과정에 반영해야 한다. 넷째, 전문 사서교사를 배치해야 한다. 다섯째, 학교공동체의 모든 구성원을 대상으로 학교도서관 관련 연수 프로그램을 마련해야 한다.

장애인에 대한 도서관 현황조사 및 지원방안 연구는 지금까지 주로 공공도서관을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 그러나, 대학의 장애인 학생 수가 점차 증가하고 장애인 학생들에 대한 지원 및 서비스가 필요해짐에 따라 대학도서관의 장애인 지원 시설, 장비 및 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 조사결과, 많은 대학도서관의 경우 이와 같은 필요성에도 불구하고 장애인서비스에 대한 인식부족으로 법률적 기반이나 기준에 근거한 대응방안의 마련보다 부분적인 지원에 그치고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서, 각각의 대학도서관에 장애인을 위한 모든 자료를 구비하는 것은 현실적으로 어렵기 때문에, 장애인 전담사서 지정에 의한 서비스 제공 및 지원방안을 마련하고, 관련기관, 단체, 협회 및 특수도서관과의 협력을 통해 정보를 제공하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 홈페이지를 이용한 장애인 서비스의 안내 및 시청각장애인을 위한 도서관 이용안내서 제작 등 적극적인 홍보방안도 필요한 것으로 조사되었다.

As a part of the status report of all the libraries of Gyeong Buk Province, the libraries of the higher educational institutions in the province were first examined in this study. The following methods were employed for this investigation: 1) questionnaires were sent to the libraries to gather necessary data and 2) the library standards as set by the government were applied for the analysis of the data and other related statistical studies and reports were consulted. Eighteen libraries in the 22 higher educational institutions in the province were examined as of August 1974. For the convenience of the study, the 18 libraries were classified into the following four categories: four-year college library, two-year normal school library, two-year junior college library, and three-year nursing school library. Paul Buck contends that the library is the center of academic life and that the quality higher education is not possible without a quality library. This is so because all the research activities have to be supported by good library facilities. Moreover it is difficult to justify the raison d'etre of an academic community if there is no active research activities in it. If the proposition is accepted that the library plays one of the most important roles in research and that research is one of the most important aspects of an academic community, it cannot be helped but observe that the role the libraries in the province play today is irregular and is far from the educational ideals the higher educational institutions envisage. The present study revealed that there was not a single library in the province which could truly support the research and classroom activities of the higher educational institutions. The college and the normal school libraries, nonetheless, had some facilities to be analyzed. The nursing school and the junior college libraries unfortunately had virtually nothing. It is hoped on the basis of the present study that the libraries should reorganize themselves and look for new directions for active support of research activities.

이 연구에서는 FR 모형과 LRM을 개체, 속성, 관계 측면에서 비교 분석하여 목록 관련 표준 및 개별 시스템에서 LRM을 수용할 수 있도록 LRM 특성과 그 적용방안을 모색하고자 한다. LRM 특성에 따른 적용방안으로 다음을 제시하였다. 첫째, LRM에서 가족, 단체, 식별자, 전거형접근점, 개념, 대상, 사건, 기관, 규칙의 개체가 삭제되었지만, LRM을 적용하려는 표준과 시스템에서 필요시 하위 개체를 정의하여 개체를 확장해야 한다. 둘째, 링크드데이터를 위해 LRM에서는 속성 요소가 관계로 변경되면서 속성이 많이 감소하였으나, LRM을 수용하려는 표준과 시스템에서는 속성을 세분하여 확장해야 한다. 특히, LRM에서는 유사한 기능을 갖거나 여러 개체에서 반복되는 속성과 자료에 특화된 속성이 포괄적인 일반화된 속성명으로 통합되었기 때문에 표준 및 개별 시스템에서는 보다 구체적이고 세부적인 속성명을 명확하게 제시해야 하며, 속성에 해당하는 어휘인코딩스킴도 개발되어야 한다. 셋째, 관계가 속성에 비해서는 증가되었으나 관계 자체가 추상적이기 때문에, 관계는 세목화 및 다단계 관계를 통해 관계가 확장되어야 한다. 본 연구는 목록 관련 표준 및 시스템에서 LRM을 적용하는 경우 적용방안 모색에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
