The current focus of development in industrial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is integration of CFD into Computer-Aided product development, geometrical optimisation, robust design and similar. On the other hand, in CFD research aims to extend the boundaries of practical engineering use in "non-traditional" areas. Requirements of computational flexibility and code integration are contradictory: a change of coding paradigm, with object orientation, library components, equation mimicking is proposed as a way forward. This paper describes OpenFOAM, a C++ object oriented library for Computational Continuum Mechanics (CCM) developed by the author. Efficient and flexible implementation of complex physical models is achieved by mimicking the form of partial differential equation in software, with code functionality provided in library form. Open Source deployment and development model allows the user to achieve desired versatility in physical modeling without the sacrifice of complex geometry support and execution efficiency.

Korean academic libraries are facing serious space shortage problems due to an inability to accommodate for the rapidly increasing number of printed materials. Despite the current situation, Korean academic libraries have largely focused on impractical applications of the new library paradigm, using technology or management programs to improve the quality of research and learning environments of the university. However, such improvements would be fruitless without first resolving the space shortage crisis. In order to make realistic improvements to the quality of academic libraries, this study used questionnaires to employ the opinions of librarians currently practicing at such Korean libraries. Survey questionnaires about types and causes of space shortage problems, library facility expansion plans, expected effects of expansion, frequency of and reasons for furniture relocation, and tight spaces needing improvement were distributed to selected 4-year college librarians through Google Drive. Analysis of survey responses indicated that library space shortage was largely responsible for the hindrance of research and learning environments. Furthermore, it reflected the urgency to secure book storage space.

제7차 교육과정은 어린이의 개성과 창의성 개발을 중시하고 학생의 자발적인 활동과 디지털 자료를 활용하는 교수-학습 방법을 권장하고 있다. 학생 중심의 자기 주도적 학습이 강조되고 스스로 문제해결 능력을 배양하기 위해 컴퓨터와 정보통신기술의 패러다임을 기반으로 어린이도서관에서도 디지털 자료실의 이용현황과 이용자 만족도 및 요구사항을 분석함으로 향후 디지털 자료실 운영 시 고려할 사항을 제시할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2003년 2월에 개관한 노원어린이도서관 디지털 자료실을 대상으로 운영 및 이용 현황을 분석함으로써 어린이도서관 디지털 자료실의 효과적인 이용을 통한 운영시 고려할 사항을 제시하고 보다 적극적인 정보서비스를 제공하는데 토대를 마련하고자 한다. 2장에서는 어린이도서관의 개념과 어린이도서관 내 디지털자료실의 개념적 모델을 정립하고3장에서는 노원어린이도서관 디지털 자료실의 운영현황을 분석하고 디지털자료실 이용자초등학생 100명을 대상으로 이용현황 및 요구사항을 분석한다. 4장에서는 분석을 통해 나타난 이용현황 및 요구사항을 기반으로 어린이도서관 디지털자료실 운영 시 고려해야 할 사항을 제시하고 결론을 맺고자 한다.

도서관 2.0 개념은 웹상에서 상호작용하는 웹 2.0의 개념에서 비롯되었다. 이런 측면에서 볼 때, 도서관 2.0은 웹2.0의 조합이고 가장 주목할만한 특징은 상호작용과 이용자 참여라 할 수 있다. 변화된 도서관 환경에서의 이용자 역할의 비중은 도서관 소장자료에 대한 그들의 태깅, 블로깅, 서평 등과 같은 기여로 점점 더 커져왔다. 이렇듯 이용자의 역할이 변화하면서 도서관 사서들의 책임 또한 이용자들이 만들어낸 정제되지 않은 정보원의 점검자 역할에까지 이르게 되었으며, 결국 정보의 생산자, 조직가, 제공자, 관리자 뿐만 아니라 조정자의 역할로 확장되게 된다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 도서관의 새로운 패러다임으로 인식되는 도서관 2.0과 그 발전에 대한 최근의 연구들을 살펴보고 도서관 2.0 측면에서의 사서의 확대된 역할로서 사서 2.0에 대해 논하였다.

공유경제의 개념은 기존의 경제 패러다임을 자원의 소유에서 자원에 대한 접근으로 전환하고 있으며, 이는 공공도서관의 근본적인 역할과 그 맥을 같이 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공공도서관 이용과 공유경제의 상호 관계를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 공공도서관 프로그램 참여는 공유경제에 대한 만족도와 신뢰 형성에 대한 기제로 작용하는 반면, 공공도서관 시설 및 장비의 이용은 공유경제에 대한 태도 및 참여와 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 도서관 장서의 활용은 지식, 정보, 개인적 경험과 같은 무형 자원의 공유에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 반면 도서관 소장 자원의 대출 이용은 공유를 통한 경제적 이득에 대한 인식에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 공공도서관은 정보 네트워크뿐만 아니라 사회적 관계를 통한 휴먼 네트워크를 기반으로 공유경제와 상호보완적인 역할을 수행하는 방향을 고려할 필요가 있다.

In modern times, pluralistic social phenomena in which various values are pursed and recognized appear. The modern society called hyper-connected, intelligence information and zero marginal cost society in which shared value is commonly emphasized faces a paradigm shift to shared society system. In particular, sharing-based activities related with intelligence information sectors more prominently emerge in the high-tech informatization which has been accelerated. The purpose of this study is to understand design factors related with how attribution of the sharing culture is expressed in library spaces and examine how sharing infrastructure is established in users' spaces. As a research method, it initially conducted theoretical consideration of the sharing culture and information spaces, which can be regarded as sociocultural phenomena in modern times. Then, it drew sharing culture-based spatial design factors-access, openness and plurality. It analyzed configuration of spaces for sharing information-Cultural Commons (CC), Information Commons(IC) and Learning Commons (LC) - and infrastructure of information spaces, for library cases-five domestic and foreign public libraries-. The findings show that modern library spaces reflect historical needs for the sharing culture and actively serve their roles through spatial infrastructure including contents (programs) and services for sharing knowledge. The study is determined to be valuable as basic data in establishing the infrastructure of information spaces reflecting modern social trends and cultural phenomena, in expecting spatial structures in which knowledge is reproduced and planning spaces of libraries in the future.

지식시회에 있어서 대안적 리더십은 수평적, 정서적인 접근, 책임감을 통해 조직원들을 동기부여 하여 자발적 참여를 유도하게 한다. 대안적 리더십에 대한 이론적 연구와 대학도서관에서의 적용 가능성에 대한 이론적 논의는 거의 전무하다. 본 연구에서는 그 첫걸음으로 대안적 리더십들에 대한 이론적 고찰과 대학 도서관에서 지식경영 패러다임 변화, 관리자와 사서의 역할 변화와 대안적 리더십 적용에 대한 논의를 통해 대학도서관을 주도할 사서들의 리더십 강화를 위한 개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

For a library to be able provide information services and fulfill its function as a knowledge convergence center capable of responding to various information demands, the development of next-generation information systems based on the latest information and communication technology is needed. The development of mobile information services using portable devices such smart phones and tablet PCs and information systems which incorporate the concepts of cloud computing, SaaS (Software as a Service), annotation and Library2.0 is also required. This paper describes a library information system that utilizes collective intelligence and cloud computing. The information system developed for this study adopts the SaaS-based cloud computing service concept to cope with the shift in the mobile service paradigm in libraries and the explosion of electronic data. The strengths of such a conceptual model include the sharing of resources, support of multi-tenants, and the configuration and support of metadata. The user services are provided in the form of software on-demand. To test the performance of the developed system, the efficiency analysis and TTA certification test were conducted. The results of performance tests, It is encouraging that, at least up to 100MB, the job time is approximately linear and with only a moderate overhead of less than one second. The system also passed the level-3 or higher criteria in the certification test, which includes the SaaS maturity, performance and application program functions.

본 연구에서는 웹기반 멀티미디어 정보환경에서 자원관리 패러다임 변화와 함께 도서관의 장서관리가 지식컨텐츠관리로 변화할 필요성을 제시하였다. 효율적인 웹 컨텐츠관리는 개인별 맞춤화 서비스를 제공함으로서 궁극적으로 이용자 만족을 최대화 할 수 있다. 특히, 메타브라우징 방식을 이용한 컨텐츠 맞춤화 서비스는 이용자 개인이 일하는 핵심컨텐츠만을 집중 서비스함으로서 이용자 만족의 극대화에 기여한다. 본 연구에서는 이와같이 이용자의 만족을 강화하기 위한 웹 기반 멀티미디어 지식컨텐트 관리방안에 대해서 관리요소와 서비스방안을 중심으로 연구하였다.
