Background: Clinical Pharmacy Practice Experience (CPPE) is an important curriculum that offers students patient-centered disease prevention and treatment with evidence-based optimal pharmacotherapy for better clinical outcomes. However, few studies have evaluated the perception of pharmacy students regarding CPPE in tertiary and secondary hospitals. This study aimed to evaluate the perception of pharmacy students regarding the learning program of CPPE. Methods: The survey questionnaire consisted of 15 self-administered questions regarding pharmacy practices, barriers, and improvement of practical training. Fourteen institutional pharmacies located in seven regions responded to a survey questionnaire from March 1 to June 30, 2017. The participants were pharmacy students doing clerkship in a hospital setting. Results: The response rate was 73.6%. Thirty-five participants (22.4%) had used a hospital library, but 121 (77.6%) had never used the library for drug information resources. Eighty-one (50.0%) responded that clinical knowledge and drug information was the most beneficial practice. Thirty-seven (31.1%) respondents in the tertiary hospitals and 19 (46.3%) in the secondary hospitals answered that they were filling prescriptions during the daily break. On the other hand, 72 respondents (60.5%) in the tertiary hospitals and 17 (41.5%) in the secondary hospitals did literature research to prepare for presentation. Conclusion: More students in secondary hospitals continue to fill prescriptions during the daily break, as compared to those in tertiary hospitals. Therefore, the authors suggest self-directed learning to improve clinical performance and each institution considers offering onsite or online library service to improve evidence-based CPPE for pharmacy school students.

본 연구는 도서관주간에 대한 관종별 도서관 직원의 인식을 설문조사를 통해 파악하고 향후 법정 도서관의 날 및 도서관주간 활성화를 위해 도서관계가 검토해야 할 내용을 모색했다. 분석결과, 도서관 직원의 도서관주간 참여경험과 주최기관의 행사지원에 대한 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 2023년부터 시행될 법정 도서관의 날 및 도서관주간에 대한 인지도가 상당히 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 향후 도서관의 날 및 도서관주간 추진 시 중점사항으로는 도서관에 대한 국가적 홍보와 행사를 위한 충분한 예산지원에 대한 의견이 많았다. 도서관 직원의 인식조사를 통해 향후 법정 도서관주간을 효과적으로 추진하기 위해서는 도서관계 인식 개선을 위한 다각적 노력, 다양한 관종 참여 유도를 위한 타 관종과의 연계 협력 및 관종별 협의회 내 추진위원회 구성, 각종 매체를 활용한 적극적 언론 홍보, 예산확보 등이 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구는 도서관활용수업이 주는 편익에 대해 도서관활용수업을 1년 이상 받은 학생들을 대상으로 질적 연구 방법을 통해 조사하고 분석한 것이다. 연구를 위해 중, 고등학생 18명을 대상으로 반구조화된 일대일 심층 면접을 실시하고 질적 분석을 하였다. 그 결과 학생들이 도서관활용수업을 통해 얻을 수 있다고 생각하는 편익은 '학습 효율성 증가' 등 18가지로 조사되었다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 도서관활용수업을 통해 학생들이 얻을 수 있는 편익을 바탕으로 도서관활용수업 서비스의 편익별 세분화를 통해 학교도서관의 마케팅 전략을 구상해볼 수 있을 것이다.

이 연구는 전라북도 학생 1,285명의 독서능력, 독서환경, 독서경험, 독서교육에 대한 실태조사를 통해 현재의 독서수준을 진단하고, 종속변수인 학생의 독서능력에 영향을 미치는 나머지 3변수 사이의 인과관계를 분석하여 학생 독서능력의 신장방안을 모색하였다. 통계분석 결과를 통해 도출된 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생의 전반적인 독서수준 중에서 독서경험 즉, 독서량과 독서시간의 수준은 다른 변수에 비해 상당부분 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학생은 중 고등학생에 비해 보다 높은 수준의 독서생활을 영위하고 있지만 학생의 학령이 높아짐에 따라 전반적인 독서수준은 떨어지는 결과를 보였다. 셋째, 인과관계 분석에서 독서환경은 독서교육에, 독서교육은 독서경험에 큰 영향을 미치고 있으며, 학생의 독서능력에 영향을 미치는 요인 중에는 독서교육 보다 독서경험의 영향력이 상당한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 통계분석을 통해 학생의 독서능력 신장을 위해 독서경험 확대와 독서교육의 체계화가 중요하다는 결론을 도출하였다.

본 연구는 사서교육전공 학생들의 석사과정 중 학습경험이 어떤 의미와 본질을 지녔는지 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 K대학교 석사과정을 졸업한지 2년 이내인 전공생 12명을 대상으로 도입 질문, 소개 질문, 주요 질문, 마무리 질문의 4가지 종류로 정한 개방형 질문 방식의 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 진행한 뒤 답변 내용을 분석하여, 석사과정에서의 학습경험에 대해 9개의 주제, 35개의 범주, 104개의 개념을 도출하였다. 각 영역별 주요 분석 결과를 살펴보면, 석사과정 진학 동기는 임용고시 응시를 위한 조건인 사서교사 자격 취득을 위해서가 가장 많았으며, 학습경험에 대한 만족도는 10점 만점 중 평균 7.66점이었다. 또한 석사과정 동안 가장 불만족스러웠던 부분은 학교도서관 운영과 사서교사 임용고시에 도움 되지 않는 교과목과 수업 내용이었기 때문에, 향후 발전을 위해서는 반드시 개선이 필요하다고 응답하였다.

4차산업혁명에 따라 새로운 교육 환경이 도래하는 상황 속에서 충청남도 교육청 소속 19개 공공도서관의 활성화를 위한 새로운 방향을 모색하기 위해 현황분석과 사서, 사서교사, 전문가 대상 포커스그룹인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구방법을 통해 충청남도 교육청 소속 공공도서관의 비전으로 도서관 커뮤니티 스쿨을 통한 지식체험 에듀라이브러리를 설정하였다. 에듀라이브러리로서 공공도서관 서비스의 방향을 교육기능 특화 서비스, 생애주기 맞춤 서비스, 지식체험중심서비스, 4차산업혁명 지능정보사회 서비스로 나누어 살펴보았다. 도서관의 전통적 기능을 바탕으로 미래 공공도서관이 갖추어야 할 공간을 체험학습 공간으로 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 충남교육청 소속 도서관의 교육기능을 강화한 특화된 방향을 제시하였는데 이는 학교 및 학교도서관과 협력 방안 모색에 기여할 수 있을 것이며, 타 지역 교육청 소속 도서관의 방향성 마련에 기반을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

대학도서관에서 경험이 많은 선배사서인 멘토와 경험이 없거나 부족한 후배사서인 멘티를 위하여 멘토링을 시행한다면 그에 대한 호응도는 어떠하며, 원하는 멘토링은 어떠한 형태인지를 분석해 보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 문헌조사와 함께 P대학 도서관 사서들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 멘토링에 참여할 의사는 비교적 높았으며, 관심주제는 직장생활에 대한 조언과 상담이 가장 높았고, 멘토와 멘티의 매칭은 도서관에서 구성한 위원회나 멘티가 선정하기를 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 또 멘토링에 참여하는 파트너의 가장 중요한 조건은 업무능력이라고 하였으며, 멘토와 멘티의 매칭은 1:1을 선호하였고, 멘토링 기간은 1년 이하가 적당하다고 하였다. 위와 같이 대부분의 사서가 개개인의 전문성 개발 및 자기학습 기회를 위하여 멘토링 참여의사를 밝혔으므로 대학도서관에서도 멘토링에 대하여 적극적인 홍보와 다양한 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 교육 담당 사서가 경험하는 교수 불안(Teaching anxiety)에 대해 파악하고 이를 완화하기 위한 지원 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국의 A그룹 대학도서관 사서 중 교육 담당 사서를 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 총 138부의 유효한 응답 결과를 분석한 결과 전체의 84.8%에 해당하는 사서가 교수 불안을 경험한 적이 있다고 응답하였다. 교수 불안은 근무 경력, 교육업무 경력, 교육 빈도, 교육업무 비중, 교육 역할 인식 등에 대해서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나 교육 역할 진입 전 느끼는 감정과 준비도에 대해서는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대학도서관 교육 담당 사서의 교수 불안을 완화하는 방안으로 문헌정보학 학부 과정부터 이용자 교육에 대한 교과 과정 개설과 상급 기관 또는 협의회 차원의 가이드라인 마련, 사서 전문 교육훈련 기관의 커리큘럼 다양화 등을 제안하였다.

It is the prime importance of the information and the reference-librarians to better understand the communication functions of the library since they are the ones to whom the library users come first with their informational needs. Reference librarians often have the problem of providing information to those who may have little experience with, or interest in the library. There is also a problem of finding out what the person really wants, not what he says he wants. Therefore, the interaction between the librarian and the user involves a highly complex activity of communication with each other even before the actual search begins. Reference librarians cannot perform to any degree of success without comprehension of the general patterns and processes of communication in information seeking. Nonverbal as well as verbal transmittal process on the part of both librarians and patrons should not be overlooked. Some of the difficulties and barriers of library communication are brought so that possible cures and improvement may be sought. The basic purpose of the reference interview through which this interpersonal communication takes place is for the reference specialist to enable to link the needs of the patron with potential resource of the library. The writer firmly believes that this importance of the process be taught as well as the materials in reference service regardless of the level of the course offered in library science department.

Purpose - The purpose is to present an efficient library-use education model in the form of flip learning, reflecting traditional teaching methods and gamification elements even in such non-face-to-face and face-to-face situations after COVID-19. Research design, data, and methodology - Research on library use education, research on ubiquitous environment and gamification instructional design, flip the learning, and gamification elements are classified, compared, and analyzed to present educational models for library education, COVID-19 Pandemic situation, and subsequent library use education. Result - We propose an e-learning content development strategy for flipped learning-based library education. First, benchmark and use the existing educational contents. Second, a user-friendly interface is configured so that learners can flexibly organize their learning contents. Third, it allows learners to experience it directly or indirectly in a virtual space. Conclusion - If the e-learning environment can be standardized to the level of schools or educational institutions, a good educational model that can be used not only in library user education but also in other fields will be possible.
