  • Cho 등 (Communications for Statistical Applications and Methods, 23, 423-432, 2016)은 잉여금이 적정수준에 이르면 연속적으로 투자가 이루어지는 보험상품 리스크 모형을 소개하고, 잉여금 과정의 정상분포함수를 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 잉여금이 적정수준을 넘어 또 다른 충분한 수준에 이르게 되면 추가로 즉시 투자가 이루어진다고 가정하고 기존의 연구를 확장한다. 잉여금 과정의 정상분포함수를 명확히 구하고, 보험청구액의 분포가 지수분포인 경우를 예제로 다룬다.

A new framework for Person Re-identification: Integrated level feature pattern (ILEP)

  • The system for re-identifying persons is used to find and verify the persons crossing through different spots using various cameras. Much research has been done to re-identify the person by utilising features with deep-learned or hand-crafted information. Deep learning techniques segregate and analyse the features of their layers in various forms, and the output is complex feature vectors. This paper proposes a distinctive framework called Integrated Level Feature Pattern (ILFP) framework, which integrates local and global features. A new deep learning architecture named modified XceptionNet (m-XceptionNet) is also proposed in this work, which extracts the global features effectively with lesser complexity. The proposed framework gives better performance in Rank1 metric for Market1501 (96.15%), CUHK03 (82.29%) and the newly created NEC01 (96.66%) datasets than the existing works. The mean Average Precision (mAP) calculated using the proposed framework gives 92%, 85% and 98%, respectively, for the same datasets.

이동 통신을 위한 시간선택성 다중경로 페이딩 채널 모델의 특성 평가 (Characteristics Analysis of the Time Selective Multipath Fading Channel Model for Mobile Communication)

  • 본 논문에서는 시간 선택성 다중경로 이동 무선 채널을 다양한 방법으로 모델링 하고 그에 따른 여러 가지 특성평가를 제시하였다. 모델링 방법에는 Jakes 방식과 시간 영역에서 독립적인 두 개의 가우시안 잡음 발생기와 정형필터(shaping filter)를 사용하는 방식 및 주파수 영역에서 필터링 하는 방식이 있다. 이 세 가지 모델링 방법의 성능을 진폭의 자기상관함수, 상호상관함수, 누적분포함수(Cumulative Distribution Function), 레벨 교차율(Level Crossing Rate), 평균 페이딩 지속 시간(Average Duration of Fades), 위상차의 확률 밀도, 위상차의 자기상관함수 등의 측면에서 시뮬레이션하고 그 결과치와 이론치 간의 특성 비교를 제시하였다. 특히, 확산 대역 시스템을 고려했을 때 이상적인 채널 추정을 가정한 레이크 수신기에서의 BER 성능을 다중경로 개수에 따라 보임으로써 여러 가지 채널 모델링 중에서 주파수 영역에서 필터링 하는 방식이 이동 무선 채널을 모델링 하는데 있어 가장 적합하다는 것을 보였다. 마지막으로 비대칭 도플러(Doppler) 스펙트럼을 모델링 하는 것도 주파수 영역에서 필터링 하는 방식이 편리하다.

  • As accident rate have been reduced into half since 2005, no train accident fatality occurred in recent year. Level crossing accident also been reduced that no more than 5 fatalities occurred every year. As a result 98% of accident fatalities occurred in station and track. So railway station safety measures are more and more important but only few research have been done on railway station safety. In this study status on safety measures on railway stations are reviewed and basic research have been done based on expert interview for the development of new safety measures.

  • Due to overuse of commercial network systems such as bluetooth and WI-FI, the problems of frequency interruption and line-crossing may arise. For this reason, wireless communication frequency ISM 2.4GHz, a recently adapted concept in Korea which is employeed by RF-CBTC system, is predicted not to have guarantee for outstanding and continuous performance. Therefore in this study, considering these problems, 5GHz capacity wireless Lans with international standard 802.11a/b/g applied were installed in the underground urban transit areas and it was proved that these lans exceeded the performance level of 2.4GHz with international standard 802.11b which is being introduced in the nation. In addition, it was verified through carrying out an application test that the communication condition was stable in a running train with high speed in the tunnel.

  • 이 논문은 최근에 개발된 실시간 음성부 검출 알고리즘[1]을 TMS320C30 System board와 IBM PC486을 이용한 implementation에 관한 논문이다. 음성부 검출 알고리즘은 Energy와 LCR(Level Crossing Rate)를 이용하여 각 frame을 음성/묵음으로 분류하는 방법을 사용하였고 DSP 보드를 사용하여 한 frame이 입력되면 다음 frame이 입력되기 전에 그 frame에 대한 음성/묵음 분류를 하여 음성입력이 끝남과 동시에 음성이라고 판단되는 부분만을 DPS moemory상에 저장하므로 불필요한 memory의 낭비를 중이고 다음 단계의 음성처리를 위한 시간을 절약하였다. 이 알고리즘의 성능 평가를 위하여 Rabiner와 Sambur의 알고리즘과 한민수의 알고리즘과를 전문가가 수작업으로 찾아낸 결과와 비교 평가하였다. 알고리즘의 오차는 평균 남성 4.925ms, 여성 5.85ms로 1 frame 이내의 오차를 보였다.

Multidisciplinary management of a fused maxillary central incisor moved through the midpalatal suture: A case report

  • Fusion of teeth is a developmental anomaly. It occurs at the stage of tooth formation, which determines the shape and size of the tooth crown, when one or more teeth fuse at the dentin level during the morphodifferentiation of the dental germs. Such teeth show macrodontia and may cause crowding, as well as esthetic and endodontic problems. In this article, we report a rare case of a maxillary central incisor fused to a supernumerary tooth showing labial and palatal talon cusps, which was orthodontically moved across the midpalatal suture. A 13-year-old Caucasian boy sought treatment for the unesthetic appearance of his maxillary central incisor and anterior crowding. He was rehabilitated successfully via a multidisciplinary approach involving orthodontic, nonsurgical endodontic, periodontal, and prosthodontic treatments. After a 26-month treatment period, the patient's macroesthetics and microesthetics were improved. The overall improvement of this macrodontic tooth and its surrounding tissues through multidisciplinary treatment was documented using cone-beam computed tomography.

한국형 고속틸팅열차의 전두부 충돌특성 시뮬레이션 (Crash Simulation on the Front End Structure of Korean Tilting Train eXpress(TTX))

  • TTX(Tilting Train eXpress) is being designed for improving the speed of conventional railway. The purpose of this study is to evaluate energy absorbing capacity and driver's survivability for a design candidate of the front end structure of TTX. A FE model with honeycomb block, under frame, and body frame is generated for crash simulation. Based on a level-crossing accident scenario, numerical simulation is performed using LS-DYNA. The results of crash analysis show that strength improvement of the current front end structure design candidate is needed to ensure driver safety.

  • Crashworthy design of a train is a systematic approach to ensure the safety of passengers and crews in railway transportation for the prescribed accident scenarios. This approach needs new structural arrangements and designs to absorb higher levels of impact energy in a controlled manner and interior designs to minimize passenger injuries. In this paper, an evaluation method for crashworthiness of Korean tilting train express is introduced. Crush characteristics for each part of tilting train express are evaluated numerically through 3-dimensional shell element analysis with LS-DYNA. Based on a head-on collision and a level crossing collision scenarios, the crash behaviors of tilting train express are evaluated numerically using full-rake collision simulations.

  • In this paper, we make a study of classification normal from abnormal - normal, asthma through analysis of thoracic sound to take use thoracic sound detection system. Thoracic sound detection system has a function to store thoracic sound and analyze the data. The wave shape of thoracic sound is similar to noise and is systematically generated by inhalation and exhalation breathing, therefore, in this paper, to classify asthma sound in thoracic sound, we could discriminate between normal and abnormal case using level crossing rate(LCR) and spectrogram energy rate.
