교사의 관심(CBAM모형)에 기초한 실천적 추론 가정과 수업의 실행 과정에 대한 연구 (Implementing Progress the Practical Reasoning Home Economics Instruction on Concerns Based Adoption Model)

  • The purpose in this study was to investigate stages of concern of home economics teachers about the practical reasoning instruction(PRI) innovation configuration. levels of use. using Concerns Based Adoption Model(CBAM) The design of the study was descriptive. The Questionnaires of stages of concern. levels of use. and innovation configuration developed by Hall in 1987 were used. Data from HE teachers were collected through mailing. focus interview. and phone calls. Mean. percents. an frequencies were used to describe stages of concern, level of use. and innovation configuration. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The highest number of HE teacher respondents was stage 1. Information in March and july. 2 In terms of mean of PRI configuration. percentile. the HE teachers had implemented over 63% of the PRI elements and the cooperative learning elements in both March and July. However. of evaluation elements, 33% in March and 47% in July had been conducted. 3. The highest number of HE teacher respondents was level 3. Mechanical level in March. and July.

Impacts of Local Land Use on Individual Modal Choice

  • In recent years, the planning of livable communities has emerged as a new paradigm. The concept of livable communities is related to both the spatial balance of working, playing, and living and the promotion of green modes of transportation, such as walking and biking. This study uses a disaggregate travel survey conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Area in 2006. I applied a multi-level random intercept logit model to estimate the effects of land-use characteristics on the choice of green modes, holding a traveler's socio-demographic characteristics constant. The empirical results show that higher density and more mixed land-use development encourages people to walk and bike even when individuals have the same socio-economic characteristics. This paper demonstrates that land-use planning by itself can play a role in the creation of livable cities and the decline of greenhouse gas production.

Public Knowledge and Attitudes Regarding Antibiotic Use in South Korea

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine public level of knowledge and attitudes regarding antibiotic use and potential drug resistance. Methods: A cross-sectional face-to-face survey of 1,177 residents aged 18 or over was conducted in Korea. A quota sampling method was used. Results: Most respondents (70%) did not know that antibiotics are ineffective in treating coughs and colds. Two-thirds of the respondents were unaware of the conditions under which antibiotic resistance occurs, despite understanding the concept of resistance. Lower education level and older age were independently associated with inadequate knowledge. Lower education level, older age, inadequate knowledge and no exposure to the education campaign were independently associated with poor attitude. Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate that the general public has misunderstandings and a lack of knowledge with regard to antibiotic use, despite a national educational campaign. However, the campaign may have had an effect on the public's attitudes towards antibiotics.

Country-Specific Digital Inequalities in Older People's Online Health Information Seeking in Europe: Impact of Socio-Demographic and Socio-Economic Factors

  • Since older people are traditionally considered disadvantaged when it comes to Internet use, it is useful to examine whether older individuals use the Internet for health information seeking (HIS). This study aims to investigate digital inequalities in terms of Internet use by older population for HIS in the European region. As methods, we applied secondary data analysis (of Eurostat data) to investigate the influence of age, educational level, sex, and countries' wealth. Cluster analysis combined with multidimensional scaling was used to find out those countries exhibiting similarities in older people's online HIS. The main results are: Older individuals do not equally use the Internet in general and for HIS in particular. Older Internet users with higher level of education and of the female sex are more likely to use the Internet for health information.

이단계 소지역추정 (Two Stage Small Area Estimation)

  • 지역 또는 도메인에 작은 크기의 표본이 배정되어 추정의 정도가 낮을 때 사용하는 통계적 기법인 소지역추정에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 소지역추정에 사용되는 자료는 단위수준자료(unit level data)와 지역수준자료(area level data)로 분류된다. 본 논문에서는 단위수준자료를 이용하여 소지역추정을 실시한 후 얻어진 추정값에 공간통계분석기법을 도입하여 최종적인 소지역추정값을 얻는 이단계 소지역추정법을 제안하였다. 제안된 소지역추정법은 단위수준자료가 갖고 있는 정보와 지역수준자료가 갖고 있는 공간정보를 모두 이용하는 방법으로 추정의 정도를 높일 수 있는 새로운 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 경제활동인구조사 자료를 이용한 모의실험을 통해 이단계 소지역추정법의 우수성을 확인하였다.

Estimation of Noise Level in Complex Textured Images and Monte Carlo-Rendered Images

  • The several noise level estimation algorithms that have been developed for use in image processing and computer graphics generally exhibit good performance. However, there are certain special types of noisy images that such algorithms are not suitable for. It is particularly still a challenge to use the algorithms to estimate the noise levels of complex textured photographic images because of the inhomogeneity of the original scenes. Similarly, it is difficult to apply most conventional noise level estimation algorithms to images rendered by the Monte Carlo (MC) method owing to the spatial variation of the noise in such images. This paper proposes a novel noise level estimation method based on histogram modification, and which can be used for more accurate estimation of the noise levels in both complex textured images and MC-rendered images. The proposed method has good performance, is simple to implement, and can be efficiently used in various image-based and graphic applications ranging from smartphone camera noise removal to game background rendition.

용융아연욕 탕면 높이 측정을 위한 초음파 센서의 사용에 관하여 (On the use of an acoustic sensor for measuring the level of a zinc pot)

  • Throughout CGL (Continuous Galvanizing Line) in steel works, zinc-coated steel sheets are produced which are used where long-running corrosion resistivity is required. During the galvanizing process, top dross is created and floated on the zinc pot. Because the dross leaves ill patterns on the coated sheets, a robot system is developed to automatically collect and remove the top dross. It consists of a robot and its carriage system, a pot level sensor, a system controller, and special robot tools. For the first time the level of zinc pot must be measured and fed back to the robot controller to avoid submersion of the robot hand into the hot zinc pot. In this paper, acoustic distance sensor is tested as a candidate for the pot level sensor in the view point of hot environment. Some considerations on the use of the acoustic distance sensor will be denoted.

지속사용의도로 측정한 전략적 마케팅 제휴의 성과 결정요인에 관한 연구: 국내 신용카드 산업을 대상으로 (A Study on the Determinants of Strategic Marketing Alliance Performance Measured by Continuous Use Intention : Focused on Korean Credit Card Industry)

  • 본 연구는 국내 카드사의 전략적 마케팅 제휴의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 소비자 수준과 기업 수준으로 구분되는 다수준데이터를 통해 분석해 보았다. 이를 위해 국내에 출시된 30개의 제휴카드를 표본으로 선정하여 두 개의 기업요인을 측정하였고, 표본으로 선정된 제휴카드의 회원 610명을 대상으로 세 개의 소비자 요인과 지속사용의도를 측정하였다. 다수준데이터 구조에 적합한 위계적 선형모형(HLM)을 통해 분석한 결과, 제휴카드 혜택, 혜택 정보제공, 제휴사브랜드 등 소비자 데이터로 측정한 요인 모두 지속사용의도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 기업변수 중에는 제휴목표의 적합성 변수가 영향력이 확인된 반면, 제휴사의 마케팅역량은 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 기업수준의 변수들은 소비자 수준 변수들이 갖는 영향력에 대해 긍정적인 조절효과를 갖지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 국내 신용카드 산업에 대해 소비자 수준과 기업 수준의 요인들이 갖는 종합적인 영향력을 분석한 거의 최초의 연구로서 관련 연구에 새로운 시각을 제공함은 물론 치열한 경쟁 환경하의 카드사들에게 의미 있는 전략적 시사점을 제시했다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

Internet Security Readiness: The Influence of Internet Usage Level and Awareness on Internet Security Readiness Capital, Skill, and Actual Uptake/Use of Infrastructure

  • In this paper we applied our previously developed assessment framework to the data collected from an internet security readiness survey targeted at households. We used the assessment framework to compute an Internet Security Readiness index for each household, which was in turn derived from Internet Security Readiness capital, skill, and actual uptake/use of infrastructure indices. We then examined the relationships among overall Internet Security Readiness, and the capital, skill, and actual uptake/use of infrastructure related to Internet Security Readiness. In addition, we explored the influence of Internet usage level and experience on Internet Security Readiness.

지하수위 분석을 통한 지하수 함양율의 지역화연구

  • The purpose of this study is to localize the recharge rate into the national scale, calculated by use of the groundwater level from the 123 monitoring stations. The soil type, land use type, and bedrocks are selected for the influential factors over recharge rate. The main hypothesis is that the recharge rate can be expressed by the sum of the weighted averages of recharge rates of each factors. The optimized weights of soil type, land-use time and bedrocks from 119 stations are 0.80, 0.18 and 0.02 respectively. So this study offers that localization is available from the recharge rates calculated by groundwater level monitoring results.
