표고버섯의 항산화능과 알코올분해능에 미치는 영향 (Antioxidant Activities and the Effect of Reducing Serum Alcohol Concentration of Lentinus edodes)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate antioxidant activities and reducing serum alcohol concentration of extract of Lentinus edodes on the alcohol administered rats. Methods : Antioxidant effect was measured by total phenolic compound and DPPH-radical scavenging activity of extract of Lentinus edodes in vitro. Blood alcohol concentration, aldehyde concentration, malondialdehyde concentration, glutathion concentration were measured in vivo. Results : The extract of Lentinus edodes increased DPPH-radical scavenging activity dose-dependently. The water extract with boiling water showed lower antioxidant activity and phenolic content than 70% ethanol extract in vitro. Blood alcohol concentration was significantly reduced by pre-treatment of ethanol extract of Lentinus edodes. The effect was more significant than commercial product used as a positive control. Conclusions : This study suggest that Lentinus edodes can be a potential nature resource for the management of ethanol toxicity although the mechanism of action involved in the treatment remains to be explored.

Inhibitory Effect of Aqueous Extracts from the Fruit Body of Lentinus edodes on Rat Intestinal Mucosa $\alpha$-glucosidase Activity and Reducing the Increase of Blood Glucose after Streptozotocin-induced Diabetic Rats

  • The aqueous extract from the fruit body of Lentinus edodes was evaluated for inhibitory activities against $\alpha$-glucosidase isolated from Spargue-Dawley male rats. A aqueous extract of Lentinus edodes exhibited 13.8% inhibitory activity on using 2 mM p-nitrophenyl $\alpha$-D-glucopyranoside as a substrate ($IC_{50}$ 75.3 mg/ml). The aqueous extract of Lentinus edodes inhibition type on $\alpha$-glucosidase was determined to be competitive inhibition. When it was oral administered to increase of blood glucose levels after STZ-induced in a dose dependent dietary. These results suggest that aqueous extract of Lentinus edodes effect a metabolism of intestine, and thereby reducing the increase of blood glucose after STZ-induced.

버섯 천연조미료 제조에 관한 연구 (Development of natural Seasoning Based on Mushroom)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data for the development of natural seasoning. The quality chatacteristics of water exacts from Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes were determind. Also, savory taste, fragrance, color and overall preference was evaluated. The preference test on the seasonings prepared from Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes with the addition of sea tangle was also performed. The crude protein content of dried, Lentinus edodes and Pleurotur ostreatus was 20.4% and 30.4% respectively. The total organic acid contents were higher in Plourotus ostreatus than in Lentinus edodes extracts. The total free amino acid adn total nucleotide contents were higher in Pleurotus ostreatus than in Lentinus edodes extracts. Three nucleotide, adenosine monophosphate(AMP) , guanosine monophosphate(GMP), xanthine monophosphate(XMP) were found in mushroom seasonings while inosine monophosphate(IMP) was not detected. Pleurotus ostreatus extract showed higher score in savory taste and overall acceptability than Lentinus edodes extract, Pleurotur ostreatus seasoning added with 1% sea tangle and Lentinus edodes seasoning added with 1.5% sea tangle were rated as high in overall quality In a sensory test of foods cooked with mushroom seasoning. It was shown that panels in their twenties well used to the taste of monosodium glutamate while the people in their thirties preferred the specific flavor of the mushroom seasoning.

표고버섯 추출물 투여가 생쥐 장내세균 효소에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Lentinus edodes water extract on some enzymes of mouse intestinal bacteria)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the in vivo effect of Lentinus edodes on the harmful enzymes of mouse intestinal bacteria. When mouse intestinal microflora were cultured in the anaerobic media containing Lentinus edodes water extract or trehalose (LD) isolated From its extract, final pH of the cultured media was significantly decreased and the activities of harmful enzymes, particulary ${\beta}-glucuronidase$ and tryptophanase, were significantly inhibited. By orally administering Lentinus edodes water extract or LD, mouse fecal ${\beta}-glucuronidase$ and tryptophanase were also signifcantly inhibited.

Lentinus edodes IY105 알칼리 추출물의 보체계활성 및 항종양효과 (Anticomplementary and Antitumor Activities of the Alkali Extract from the Mycelia of Lentinus edodes 1'11105)

  • 경기도 광릉에서 채집한 자실체로부터 분리한 Lentinus edodes IY105균을 배양하여 얻은 균사체를 알칼리로 추출하여 얻은 물질이 면역계와 sarcoma 180이 이식된 mouse에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. Lentinus edodes IY105 배양균사체의 알칼리 추출물은 항보체활성과 alternative complement hemolytic 활성을 가지고 있었고, carbon clearance 활성을 가지고 있었고, carbon clearance 활성을 나타내는 것으로 보아 mouse의 망내계에 존재하는 macrophage를 활성화시켜 이 물질에 대한 탐식기능을 증가시킴을 알수 있었다. 또한, 이물질은 mouse의 용혈반 형성 세포수를 증가시키는 것으로 보아 항체생산 자극효과가 있는 것으로 추측되었으며, 종양세포인 sarcoma 180이 이식된 mouse의 암을 50 정도 억제하는 효과를 나타내었다. 알칼리 추출물의 성분을 분석한 결과, 당 17, 단백질 42로 구성된 단백질다당체가 주성분으로 단백다당체는 16종의 아미노산과 52종류의 당으로 구성되어 있었다.

  • 표고버섯 원목(原木) 재배(栽培)에 있어서 골목화 기간을 단축하여 해균(害菌)의 침입을 막고 생산량 증대를 위한 방법으로 생리활성화물질(生理活性化物質)이 표고버섯 골목화에 미치는 영향을 실험분석하였다. 생리활성화물질은 파(Allium fistulosm), 보리(Hordeum vulagare var. hexastichon), 표고버섯(Lentinus edodes), 당근(Daucus carota var. sativa), 유자(Citrus junos)를 사용하였는데 그 중 파(Allium fistulosm)의 추출액이 제일 유효하였으며, 생리활성화물질(生理活性化物質)에 효과가 높은 수종(樹種)은 굴참나무(Quercus variabilis)로 나타났다.

Coriolus versicolor와 Lentinus erodes의 영양배지 조성 및 배양조건의 최적화 (Optimization of Media Composition and Culture Conditions for the Mycelial Growth of Coriolus versicolor and Lentinus edodes)

  • The media compositions and culture conditions were optimized for mycelial growth of Coriolus versicolor and Lentinus edodes. Media composition for optimal growth of Coriolus versicolor was 2.0% glucose 0.4% peptone and 0.6% yeast extract. Media composition for optimal growth of Lenttnus edodes was 2.0% glucose 2.0% starch 0.4% bacto-soytone and 0.6% yeast extract. The media supplemented with KH2PO4, 0.046% KH2PO4 0.1% and MgSO4, .7H2O 0.05% supported better mycelial growth than the media without mineral salts. The optimum temperature for mycelial growth ranged from $25^{\circ}C$-28$^{\circ}C$. The optimum pH range for mycelial growth of Coriolus versicolor was 5.2~5.6 while that of Lentinus edodes appeared to be 5.75.

버섯 추출물이 사염화탄소 유발 간손상에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mushroom Extracts on Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Hepatotoxicity in Rats)

  • The effect of mushroom extracts from Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes on carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-induced hepatotoxicity was investigated. Rats were administered orally each mushroom extract at the dose of 150mg/kg, foolwed by treatment with CCl4. Liver damage was produced in male Sprague-Dawley rats, after 21hrs from dosing with CCl4(0.25ml/kg) which were given intraperitoneally. Liver damage without renal injury was confirmed by measuring plasma enzyme, creatinine and blood analysis and liver analysis. Plasma aminotransferase activity, and levels of cholesterol and triglyceride were analyzed. Plasma alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase activities were decreased by 34% and 61.5% in pretreatment group of Lentinus edodes compared with CCl4 treated group, respectively. The adminstration of all mushroom extracts led the plasma cholesterol and triglyceride levels decrease more than the CCl4-treated rats. These results suggest that Lentinus edodes extract protect liver from damage induced by CCl4.

한국산 고등균류의 항보체활성 효과에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Anticomplementary Activity of Korean Higher Fungi)

  • 국내에서 자생하는 61주의 고등균류로부터 면역증강효과를 검색하기 위해 이들로부터 성분을 분리하여 이들의 항보체활성을 측정한 결과, krestin의 보체활성도인 20.6%보다 우수한 보체활성 효과를 나타낸 것은 11주 였으며, 이 중에는 Ganoderma lucidum 5주, Lentinus edodes 3주, Cordyceps sp. 3주 및 Agaricus campestris 1주이다.

표고버섯(Lentinus edodes)추출물의 항균활성 (Antimicrobial Activity of Lentinus edodes Extract)

  • 표고버섯을 새로운 형태의 식품으로 개발하기 위한 기초 자료와 천연보존료로의 이용 가능성을 검토하고자 물과 에탄올로 항균성 물질을 추출하여 몇 종의 병원균, 식중독균, 식품과 관련이 있는 세균 및 효모등 10균주에 대하여 항균성 여부와 추출물의 최소저해 농도를 밝히고, 표고버섯추출물을 용매 계통 분획하여 항균활성을 살펴보았다. 항균성 검색에 사용된 물과 에탄을 추출물 모두에서 대부분의 세균은 항균활성이 나타났으나, 효모와 젖산균에서는 나타나지 않았다. 또한 에탄을 추출물이 물 추출물보다 더 강한 활성을 보였으며 대보다는 갓에서 항균활성이 다소 강하게 나타났다. 표고버섯의 항균활성을 균주별로 보면 E. coli에서 첨가농도가 0.5 mg/mL로 가장 낮아 높은 활성을 나타냈고, 젖산균과 효모등의 균주에서는 1.5 mg/mL 이상의 농도에서도 항균효과가 나타나지 않았다. 표고버섯 에탄을 추출물중의 항균활성 물질은 121$^{\circ}C$에서 15분간 가열한 후에도 활성이 유지되었으며, pH의 변화에도 영향을 받지 않았다. 표고버섯 에탄을 추출물을 핵산, 에테르, 에틸아세테이트 및 물로 용매계통 분획하여 얻은 각 분획물의 항균활성은 세균의 경우 젖산균을 제외한 그람양성균과 그람음성균 모두 에틸아세테이트 분획물에서 현저한 생육 억제효과가 나타났으며, 에테르와 핵산 분획물에서도 에틸아세테이트 분획물 보다는 낮지만 대부분의 균주에 대하여 항균활성을 보였다. 그러나 젖산균과 효모에서는 모든 분획물에서 항균효과가 거의 없었다.
