농촌청소년의 여가활동 활성화방안 (Rural Youth's Leisure Activity and Measures for Activation)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze rural youth's leisure activity and to suggest measures for activation. This study was conducted by review of literature and questionnaire, The data was collected from 1,209 stratified cluster random sampled rural youth who are in middle school and high school. To analyze the data, SPSS/WIN program was employed. The major finding of the study were as follows: 1) About 30% of rural youths had less than 1-2 hours for leisure activity in daily life and more than 8 hours for leisure activity during the weekend, and over 40% of rural youths had no plan for leisure activity. 1) They recognized that leisure activity made them enjoy common life, decrease their stress, and get new experience far self-development, 3) participation in sports, organized-activity and self-directed activity of the middle schools youths were higher compare to youths in high schools, 4) to activate leisure life, rural youths expected to get a) direct support for participating leisure activity expenses(27%), b) develop and diffusion of diverse and interesting leisure programs(23%), and c) securing appropriate leisure facilities(22%).

제주도 해양레저장비산업 육성 방안에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Development Strategy of Jeju Marine Leisure Equipment Industry)

  • This study was to consider the development strategy of Jeju Marine leisure equipment industry for facilitating marine leisure tourism industry. For achieving this goal, the case studies related to domestic & foreign marine leisure equipment industry, interviews of marine leisure equipment company, the contents of specialist consultation meeting were used in this study. The strategies for promoting were suggested in progress that step 1 was the expansion of maintenance infrastructure as of a port of call, step 2 was the establishing of marie leisure tourism image, step 3 was the integration of marine leisure equipment industry. More specific suggestions were followed. As an aspect of infrastructure, the expansion of management of marine leisure equipment such as yacht, development of marina having similar image of Jeju were suggested. As an aspect of law/institution, the development of financial support system on the marine leisure equipment, promotion of establishment of professional education institutions were suggested. As an aspect of contents/programs, the hosting the exhibition of marine leisure used equipment of international trade, the development of environmental-friendly program associated with cruise were suggested, Finally, as an aspect of promotion/marketing, the promotions linked with drama & movie industry, the strategy of improvement of negative image to the yacht industry were suggested.

고령여성의 발레운동 참여에 따른 자아존중감과 여가만족 및 삶의 질의 관계 분석 (An Analysis of the Relationship between Self-Esteem and Leisure Satisfaction and Quality of Life in the Elderly Women's Participation of a Ballet Program)

  • 이 연구는 고령여성들의 발레운동프로그램 참여에 따른 여가시간 활용에 대한 만족도 증대와 고령자의 삶의 질 향상을 위하여 G광역시의 10개 무용 학원에 등록한 여성고령자 148명을 대상으로 자아존중감, 여가만족, 삶의 질과 관련된 설문조사를 실시한 후 자료처리를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 자아존중감과 여가만족 및 삶의 질 간 상관관계 분석과 회귀분석 결과 긍정적 자아존중감은 여가만족의 하위요인 모두와 삶의 질 하위요인에 정적 영향을 주었고, 부정적 자아존중감은 여가만족의 신체적 만족요인은 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향, 여가 만족의 사회적 만족과 삶의 질의 건강요인, 심리적 요인에 부적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자아존중감과 여가만족 및 삶의 질 변인 간 연구모형의 적합도 가설검증을 실시한 결과 자아존중감은 여가만족과 삶의 질에 긍정적 영향을 주었으며, 여가만족이 높을수록 삶의 질 요인에도 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결론을 종합하면 고령여성의 발레운동 프로그램 참여는 고령자의 자아존중감을 향상시키고, 여가만족 및 삶의 질에 유의한 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나, 꾸준한 신체 활동을 통한 발레운동은 고령자의 노후에 질병예방 및 건강증대에 도움을 줄 것으로 생각된다.

노인의 여가태도와 여가유능감이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Leisure Attitude and Leisure Competence on Quality of Life for Elders in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the predictors of quality of life for elders in Korea. Method: The participants were 348 older persons selected by convenience sampling in Y city. Data were collected from September 22 to October 23, 2008 when 348 elders completed a questionnaire which included the Leisure Attitude Scale by Raghep and Beard (1982), Leisure Competence Questionnaire by Witt and Ellis (1987) and the Quality of Life Questionnaire by Mckenna (2001). Cronbach alphas scores for Korean translation of the questionnaires were .85, .90 and .79 respectively. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS Win 14.0 statistics program. Results: The scores for quality of life showed significant positive correlations with the scores for leisure attitude (r=.603, p<.001) and leisure competence (r=.703, p<.001). Leisure competence, leisure attitude, and education were significant predictors and accounted for 54.4% of the variance in quality of life in the elders. Conclusion: The findings suggest that high leisure competence and positive leisure attitude with learning opportunities will be helpful to promote a better quality of life for elders.

Exploring the Meaning of College Students' Leisure Activity: Means-end Chain Analysis of Social Network Game Playing

  • Social network games (SNGs), a rapidly growing online game genre, are built and played on social network sites. SNGs provide an online world for enjoying leisure time and interpersonal communication, and an increasing numbers of college students are involved in such game-playing as a leisure time activity. Despite the popularity, relatively few studies have been conducted to investigate the nature of game players, especially the meaning of such leisure time behavior by college students. This paper's aim was to explore a subjective meaning structure of online social network game play. The means-end chain model was used to link attributes of SNGs to the underlying values of game playing as a leisure activity. The results revealed two emerging end-values: the need for bridging and a sense of belonging. This study sheds light on the meaning of college students' leisure activities when playing social network games.

노인의 여가유형과 사회적 지지가 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Leisure Types and Social Supports on Elderly Depression)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the leisure and social support types which affect elderly depression. The study sample comprised 275 cases, and the analysis was performed by t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression and stepwise regression on SPSS ver. 10.0. The following three principle results were obtained: First, the types of leisure and social support differed according to domographic profiles. Second, among 6 sub-factors of leisure type, sports and viewing impressions activities contributed positively to elderly depression, as did emotional and appraisement supports among 4 sub-factors of social support. Third, stepwise regression analysis, conducted to determine the effect weights of factors of leisure types and social supports, showed that emotional support, social relationships activity, and viewing impressions activity strongly affected elderly depression in the order listed. Based of these results, the study suggested methods for developing an active leisure activities program which is necessary to minimize elderly depression.

A Study on the Current Status and Librarian Perception of Readers' Advisory in Korean University Libraries: A focus on Leisure Reading

  • This study attempted to establish the role of university libraries for leisure reading by identifying the current status of university libraries about leisure reading, which is a part of the reading support service and by investigating and analyzing the university library librarian's percep tion of the necessity of leisure reading. To this end, a survey was conducte d on university libraries. As a result of the survey, 78% of university libraries were conducting leisure reading, and 72% of them provided separate space. Separate manpower was provided only in 30% of libraries, and book lists were provided mainly by best sellers. Regarding the need for leisure reading (4.28) and the role of university libraries (4.32), librarians responded that it was a necessary service for university libraries, and university library librarians that currently provide spaces and program s were more aware of the need.

시설 거주 지적장애인들의 재활체육 프로그램 참여에 따른 여가시간 사용과 여가활동 수행에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Leisure Time-Use and Occupational Performance according to the Participation of a Rehabilitation Sports Program for Intellectual Disabilities Residing in a Residential Care Facility)

  • 목적 : 본 연구에서는 규칙적인 재활체육 프로그램 참여에 따른 시설 거주 지적장애인들의 여가시간 사용과 여가활동 수행에 미치는 영향을 규명하여 시설 거주 지적장애인들의 여가시간 사용과 여가활동 수행에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법 : 연구대상은 경기도 용인시 지적장애인 거주시설에서 거주하는 지적장애인 8명을 대상으로 하였으며, 2015년 09월 01일부터 11월 30일 까지 총 12주간 재활체육 프로그램을 실시하였다. 재활체육 프로그램으로 짐볼과 탄성밴드를 활용한 근력운동을 적용하였으며, 프로그램 참여에 따른 여가시간 사용의 변화를 조사하기 위해 매월 시간 조사표 기록에 따른 총시간, 운동 빈도를 조사하였고, 여가활동 수행에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 프로그램 전, 후 캐나다작업수행측정(COPM)을 활용하여 동적 여가활동에서의 수행도와 만족도를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS ver.18.0으로 기술통계, 프리드만 검정(Friedman), 윌콕슨 부호순위 검정(Wilcoxon's Signed-Ranks Test)을 실시하였다. 결과 : 여가시간 사용의 분석 결과 총시간, 운동 빈도에서 프로그램 참여 후 통계적으로 유의미하게 지속적으로 증가하였으며, 여가활동 수행의 분석 결과 동적 여가활동에서의 수행도, 만족도에서 프로그램 참여 후 통계적으로 유의미하게 증가하였다. 결론 : 재활체육 프로그램의 참여가 대상자들의 여가시간 사용을 효과적으로 변화시킬 수 있는 긍정적인 요인으로 작용할 수 있어 시설에 거주하고 있는 지적장애인들에게 재활체육 프로그램의 참여는 필수적이다. 또한, 이러한 프로그램을 지속적으로 제공하고, 체계적으로 발전시키고 관리하여, 지적장애인들의 여가생활의 질을 높이고 시설 내 생활과 하루일과의 만족도를 높이는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

예비 노인층의 주거 내 여가활동을 고려한 공간구성 계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Programming by Considering Leisure Activity for Middle-aged in the House)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the leisure activity for middle-aged from 45-65 living in the house. The survey had been conducted in 135 respondents with Questionnaire during September 25th to October 7th, 2006. Frequency, Cluster Analysis and Cross tabulation were obtained from the data using SPSS program. The Questionnaire consists of leisure activity and leisure location based on 3 properties of leisure. The results of this study are as follows. First, frequency the respondents is differed by demographic characteristics. Those who have higher level of education, subjective economic power and are younger were more active. Second, the leisure activity in the house is higher in passive on 1st, intellectual and emotional on 2nd, mass media and social activity on 3rd property. Respondents regard home as not a active space but a relax space. Third, the most preferred location in the house for leisure is living-room. Next, master-room and dinning-kichen are. Because of women who spend time more than men in living. Therefore, designing living space for elderly is considered various leisure type of residents.

공동주택단지 내 여가시설 특성 및 거주자 요구에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Leisure Facilities and Needs of Residents in Apartment Complex)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of leisure facilities and to examine residents' needs for leisure facilities in apartment complex. The questionnaire survey and content analysis were used. The Data for content analysis were 476 site plans, and the subjects of questionnaire survey were 673 residents lilving in 35 apartment complex. Frequency, Percentage, and mean, ANOVA-A, x^{2}-test, and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Facilities for children play, and senior, sports facilities, community center, green area, and resting place were included in leisure facilities in apartment complex. These facilities were different according to complex site and built-period. 2)The degree of satisfaction of leisure facilities was lower than neutral. The satisfaction of leisure facilities related with diversity of leisure facilities and program, and poor environment. 3) Subjects needed the facilities recommended in housing act including diverse leisure facilities such as sports center and resident's self government facilities. And they needed divers facilities for sports. 4) In terms of location, they needed leisure facilities which was closer to their house.
