Objectives : The subacute toxicity was investigated in Sprague-Dawley rats orally treated with Dangguibohyel-tang (DBT). DBT has been used for anemia, in Korean medicine. Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were administered orally with DBT at the dosages of 1,000 mg/kg for 14 days. We daily examined number of deaths, clinical signs, body weights and gross findings during the 14 days. Results : There were no clinical signs and pathological changes compared with control group. Body weights were not significantly changed between control and treatment groups. In hematological and biochemical serum parameters, all mean values appear to be within the normal range. Conclusion : These results suggest that DBT dose not induce any significant subacute oral toxicities in Sprague-Dawley rats.

Since year 2000, French housing and rent prices rose at a rapid rate and the housing market has been overheated. Face to this phenomena, the French government enacted a new law Alur which is a legislatif tool to control the private housing rent price for the cities, where the tension of the housing market is very high. This new law has impacted the housing market in two major ways. First, for the 38 cities designated by this law, the rent price's increase rate can not rise above the IRL, which is the rent reference index. Secondly, this law also permits local authorities to control the housing rent's price following the concrete price guidance. Especially in Paris, the city applicated this method for private rental housing since 2015. This city classified its own area by 14 zones. Based on the market surveys of each sector, local authority made a guidance for private housing rent's price. The guideline is consisted of average prices, maxima and minima price by types, which is classified by the construction year, number of rooms and furnished or not. Therefore, this study aims to understand french housing rent's price control system and draw implementation for korean housing rent policies. This research is meaningful for it introduces recent foreign regislations which could be helpful to control the housing market in Korea.

터치 센서를 이용한 휴대단말용 인터페이스가 다양하게 개발되면서 차세대 인터랙션 수단으로서 많은 주목을 받고 있지만, 버튼 인터페이스에 비해 오동작에 취약하고 터치 인터페이스만의 차별성을 확보하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 터치 드래그 동작을 주요 인터랙션 수단으로 활용한 모바일 기기용 사용자 인터페이스를 개발하여 오동작을 최소화하고 사용자가 조작할 때 즐거움을 줄 수 있는 UI 요소로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 터치 인터페이스는 기기의 내부/외부 방향의 스크롤 동작을 각각 drag-in/drag-out 동작으로 칭하고 이러한 드래그 동작을 응용 프로그램의 실행과 종료에 할당하였으며 터치 센서를 따라 움직이는 스크를 동작은 기존과 동일하게 일반적인 스크롤 행위를 지시하는데 적용하였다. 제안한 인터랙션 방법은 터치 센서의 형태에 따라 크게 두 가지 방식으로 구현하였다. 첫 번째 방법은 기기 스크린 외곽에 터치 센서를 이열(二列) 배치하여, 터치스크린을 사용하지 않고도 스크린 주변의 터치 센서를 활용한 drag-in/out 동작의 감지가 가능하도록 하였다. 두 번째 구현 방법은 정전용량형 터치 센서 IC를 활용해 터치 스크린 기능과 함께 스크린 주변의 기기 케이스의 일부까지도 사용자의 접촉을 감지할 수 있도록 하였다. 기존 저항 방식 터치 스크린과 달리 본 논문에서 활용한 방식은 스크린과 케이스에서 동시에 터치를 감지할 수 있으며, 다접점 감지 알고리즘의 개발로 두 개의 손가락을 이용한 다양한 터치 인터랙션으로 활용할 수 있다.

In the present study, we investigated the effect of staurosporine on the formation of cellular processes in human gingival fibroblasts and rat astrocytes. Staurosporine caused a rapid induction of process formation in human gingival fibroblasts and rat astrocytes in a concentration dependent manner. The process formation of human gingival fibroblasts and rat astrocytes was prevented by the pretreatment with N-acetylcysteine, suggesting that staurosporine-induced ROS production was responsible for the process formation. Colchicine, a microtubule depolymerizing agent, inhibited the staurosporine-induced process formation, whereas cytochalasin D, an actin filament breakdown agent, failed to suppress the formation of cellular processes. This result indicated that polymerization of microtubule, and not actin filament, was responsible for the formation of cellular processes induced by staurosporine. In support of this hypothesis, Western blot analysis was conducted using anti-tubulin antibody, and the results showed that the amount of polymerized microtubule was increased by the treatment with staurosporine while that of depolymerized beta-tubulin in soluble fraction was decreased. These results indicate that staurosporine induces ROS-mediated, microtubule-dependent formation of cellular processes in human gingival fibroblasts and rat astrocytes.

In order to study the effect of the isometric exercises on the flexibility. the strength and the waist and hip circumferences, 10 female university students who aged 22.10 ${\pm}$ 1.10 years were measured by sit-up for strength, and trunk flexion test and trunk lifting for flexibility, and also measured by waist and hip circumferences before and during, and after the Swiss ball exercise program. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS/PC WIN 7.0 version. and one-way repeated ANOVA Test, The results of the test were as shown; We found that the number of performing sit-up was increased. and the trunk flexion test and trunk lifting was increased, and the waist and hip circumferences were increased after the 6 weeks Swiss ball exercise program. These findings indicate that Isometric exercise using Swiss ball could be beneficial to the low back pain patients due to the effect of increasing strength and flexibility of the patients.

The optical and electrical properties of indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films deposited at room temperature can be substantially enhanced by adopting a two-step process. In the first step, the films (50 nm thick) were grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) on glass substrate at room temperature and quickly annealed at $400^{\circ}C$ in nitrogen ambient for 1 minute by using rapid thermal annealing method. The process was completed by additional deposition (150 nm thick) on annealed film at room temperature. High quality ITO films grown by two-step process at room temperature could be obtained with the resistivity of $3.02{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$, the carrier mobility of 32.07 $cm^2/Vs$, and the transparency above 90 % in visible region mainly due to the enhancement of the film crystallinity and the increase of grain size.

The demands of minimizing the reactive power and reducing. the current harmonics are increasing nowadays. The inverter airconditioner needs high power and it operates with wide load range. Conventionally, ah huge LC passive filter is used in airconditioner to improve the P.F and to reduce current harmonics which doesn't gives good results. In this paper, a design of active power factor correction(PFC) circuit for inverter air conditioner is described. To improve the P.F and to reduce the THD, an average current controlled active PFC is designed and tested. Experimental results show that the developed system achieves almost unity P.F and low THD for all load range.

Thermal behavior of $Li_{1-x}CoO_2$ has been investigated employing DSC (Differential Scanning calorimetry) and TGA (Thermogravimetry Analyzer), and the crystal parameters were calculated from XRD (X-ray diffraction).for the commercial rectangular pouch cell(1000 mAh).The cathode materials coated over aluminium foil current collector is made up of a blend consisting of active material $LiCoO_2$(size $20\;{\mu}m$, 94 wt%), conducting material super p black (SPB, 3 wt%) and binder polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF, 3 wt%). The anode is a mix consisting of carbon (92 wt%) and PVDF(8 wt%) coated over copper foil. The cells for the experiments were first preconditioned by cycling three times and stabilized at OCV=3.0, 3.5, 4.2, 4.35 and 4.5 V. The stabilized cathode material was used for thermal and crystal parameter investigations.

We have investigated the excitation-light source dependence of photo-catalytic efficiency for the benzene removal. The photo-catalytic module for the benzene removal is fabricated by a combination of GaN-based ultraviolet light-emitting diode (UV GaN-LED) and $TiO_2$ thin film coated on an aluminum plate. The benzene reduction rates of 365 nm and 375 nm modules at 60 mA junction current are approximately $8.95\;\%/Hr$ and $9.2\;\%/Hr$, respectively, which indicates that 365 nm GaN-LED is more effective than 375 nm GaN-LED. The benzene reduction efficiency is also noticeably dependent on the excitation wavelength and excitation-light power, as well as it is increased with the shorter wavelength and higher excitation power. This result exhibits that UV GaN-LED is useful to remove the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) existing in the environment.

The objective of present study is to assess the performance of the first stage compressor in a total 3-stage 5000 HP-level turbo compressor. CFD commercial code, CFX has been used to predict three-dimensional flow characteristics inside of the impeller. Shear Stress Transport (SST) model has been used to simulate turbulent flows through Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations. Grid dependency has been also checked to get optimal grid distribution. Numerical results have been compared with the experimental test results to elucidate performance characteristics of the present compressor. In addition, flow characteristics of the impeller only have been studied for various blade configurations. Angular offset in leading edge of the blade has been selected for the optimal blade design. Performance characteristics in region of low mass flow rate and high pressure ratio between the impeller entrance and exit have been investigated for the selection of optimal blade design. Also, flow instability such as stall phenomena has been studied and anti-stall characteristics have been checked for various blade configurations in the operational window.
